Our sons wedding reception was held there on July 31, 2021. The venue and staff was outstanding. Sohini help organize the event beautifully; the catered Indian food was excellent and authentic. Overall great experience.

I was there for my friends engagement. The place was really big and the function hall is very spacious. But better you order food from outside. Their rules and the way they serve is really bad. I heard that its unlimited but in the end, there is no food for some of my friends.

Sohini was so easy to work with. She is very thorough and timely. I didnt have to worry about anything the day of the wedding reception. The venue looked beautiful and the food was delicious!! I received many compliments from my guests. Also a very affordable venue for what you are getting!!

My friend recently had her wedding reception here at it was simply beautiful. I enjoyed everything from start to finish. This venue is so clean and her wedding decor was stunning.

We attended Eid namaz here and the setting was amazing. Dur to covid we didnt spend much time inside but the hall we had hired was huge and accommodated everyone without issues.This would make a fantastic venue for a wedding with the vast parking space and beautifully maintained gardens and the peacocks roaming around freely really add that special touch.I cant wait for the next event here!

Monica Coimbra at Safari Texas was literally the best. Three of my groomsmen who also got married at Safari, had Monica help out as well and LOVED HER. Highly recommend her, as she goes out of her way to make sure everything is perfect the day of. Leading up to the wedding day, she walked us through so many options and helped us out of so many situations. Planning a wedding during a pandemic can be stressful enough, but she made it so much easier!! We hosted our wedding in The Lodge at Safari Texas, and they have 7 other ballrooms on-site you can choose from. The food got many compliments as well!10/10

Alyssa hands down the best safari coordinator you can work with! She was so extremely helpful and had such kindness. I would do my events all over again just to work with her! She made sure everything that I asked for was provided and everything ran on schedule. Venues itself were absolutely gorgeous and my dream come true!

Sept.2021 Update.... The company took no fault or responsibility. Disappointed in the lack of customer support and simple ethics!(Original review below)Recently celebrated my moms 60th here. The customer service is far below par. Upon my arrival, i was greeted then it became very hard to reach her coordinator when needing assistance with the baker delivering the cake and other housekeeping things. In fact i had to call my mother, the birthday girl, to get the front offices phone number. When finally contacting her she made sure to tell me who else i could speak to instead of her, as if it was a bother. She did manage to pop in right as the party began then again to forcefully push me to hurry the party so dinner could be served at 8. BUT WE HAD THE VENUE TILL 12! Felt like we were being asked to work around her schedule instead of her working around ours, the customers. I did not force the respected guest speakers and tributes to my mother because that would have been rude and it was tacky for the venue coordinator to try and rush such an event. After that I didnt see the coordinator until I needed to dim the lights, the ONLY time she was there when I absolutely needed her. When filing a complaint the owner was degrading, belittling, and not open at all to my mothers complaints. He laughed as she spoke, accused her of lying, and contradicted himself. He said the coordinator was there and it shows on camera....but when the event was over Alysa was not there! Another coordinator was because he mentioned she had another event to attend to. So how could she have been there the whole time and the other events as well? Even the owner mentioned she had to handle her other events.While planning there were multiple contradictions. Ex: she paid for coffee. We never saw or received coffee. The guest didnt get the promised refills. We were told there would be enough food for about 20 additional guest included in her fee, however when she paid the final payment this was suddenly no longer so. Even still she had about 20 less guest then anticipated and pic for yet, they managed to only have a serving for 2 or 3 left to take home....doesnt add up to the additional plates promised for security.People pay good money for these nice and illustrious events. At least the service can be worth the expense. The bare minimum is respect, honesty, and transparency..... Which they showed none of.

Gorgeous venue! More clear markings as to where to go to find your event would be helpful, however. Its a big complex and some of our party had difficulty finding the right building.

Alyssa initially was nice, Until all monies were collected. She left my party without communicating that to me. She seemed more concerned about getting more money than ensuring that my guests needs were met. Alyssa was not attentive to my needs & did not fulfill the items aligned in the contract. Some guests were not served both meat options. The serving staff made them to feel that they had to chose. So they were only given one meat. Once I reviewed my sign in list, %15 did not show.. over 25 meals were not accounted for. The wait staff did not anticipate the needs of my guests. They never returned to refill my guests drinks. Alyssa should of been present to ensure that those needs were met. Most of the wait staff could not speak English, so there was a breakdown in communicating my guests needs. They never offered coffee to my guests. They ran out plates for my cake. Alyssa failed me as a customer.Alyssa was bouncing back & forth to parties. Clearly, she was not concerned about my partys needs. Another associate apologized for the poor customer service I received. Safari Texas Ranch did not meet what my dollars paid for.

Safari Texas is so hospitable! We hosted several wedding events with them and they left us speechless! Sohini was a dream to work with. She helped us with our vision and provided really great advice on parts of it. She was flexible when we had to make changes and was so gracious. I highly recommend that you book your next event at Safari Texas!

My mother in law celebrated her 60th birthday at Safari Texas and it was not a good experience. The staff coordinator who was assigned to her party was hard to find for most of the event. We had several questions for her and when we addressed her she suggested that we direct our questions to the crew who did not speak the best English. She also suggested that we hurry up with our program even though we had the venue until midnight. Alysa customer service it self was unprofessional and rude and if ever having a event at this location please request not to have her assist you. After this she wasnt seen for the rest of the night, another staff member showed up at the end of the party.When my mother in law called to file a complaint, the owner was very rude and dismissive. He was very unprofessional as well. One would think after all the money spent to have a event at such a venue you would receive decent customer service. Our experience was horrible and I would not suggest anyone having an event here at all.

We had a great and awesome experience at Safari during my wifes birthday. Monica Coimbra followed up with us in making sure that everything went well without any hitch. Lisa finally crowned it all on the day of the event with a top notch, master class service. Every single member of staff were courteous and respectful.Ola.

These people ALWAYS treat their guests THE BEST. I look forward to all special events hosted there. The service and food are first class.

Venue is beautiful, nice set up in the infinity ballroom. Plenty of parking.

This place is really good. We had a great event in here. My only concern is that this place looks really old. And sometimes you can see hens walking around this place. Staff and service was all very nice. This place is especially good for huge gatherings. For about 400 can fit in here.

Last week I attended a wedding reception in safari ranch venueExcellent lights beautiful decorations entrance and exit are convenient many halls are in their for couple of wedding at the same time.I suggest you not to get food from them instead order catering from outside.

Great place for events. Went for a Reading between the Wines event. Heard Marcus Lutrell speak. This event had about 600 people plus and there seemed to be other events in other buildings. Plenty of parking. Easy to get in and out. Google actually messed up and sent us north on 1464 for some reason.

My Baby Cousin Asia Kai first Birthday Party was here and we had a blast as you can see. I highly recommend this place.

Planning a wedding is stressful enough and with a pandemic going on, it was just enough to make anyone want to elope instead. The staff at Safari made sure we did not regret booking them! I had booked Safari before lockdown, and Monica and Alyssa were both amazing and answered any questions I had as far as the procedures and precautions that Safari was doing to keep their staff and guest safe. We went over the little details of our wedding reception, and in the end our guest had an amazing time. Alyssa constantly checked on us throughout the night, and even asked us if there was anything she could do before she left for the night. I would not change anything about booking the Magnolia room at Safari.

I recently attended a wedding here, and it has definitely gone downhill. I would advise anyone thinking of booking here to really reconsider especially due to the food. The venue recently implemented a rule to not allow outside food and now makes catering through them mandatory due to COVID. The food itself was absolutely awful. It takes a lot of effort to make South Asian food bland but they managed to. The meat items were nothing but bones and the chicken biryani was basically just rice. I think there were only 2 pieces that I saw in the entire tray right when they started serving. They went out of their way to not give you chicken when youre getting food and you have to specifically ask for a piece otherwise just get a few spoonful of rice. Theyre very stingy with the serving. They say this is due to COVID but they allow you to serve yourself side items like salad. This just seems like malicious business practice where they try to make the cost of food as cheap as possible for them and charge a ridiculous amount to the consumer. If they really cared about the current pandemic, they would have more strict capacity rules, etc and focus on ways that actually spread infection since food has shown not to be a source. I can imagine theyll continue this practice even after COVID due to all the money theyre making through ripping people off.

Have lived near this place for 9 years and never had the opportunity to enter inside but this past weekend was very amazing. Now my sister has found a venue for her wedding.

I booked my wedding with them and could not have been happier. The food was spectacular & the response from my guests were nothing but positive. The staff was helpful with the tear down which was a blessing itself.

Alyssa at Texas Safari Ranch is honestly the best wedding coordinator you can have! We had a horrible experience elsewhere and came straight to Safari where Alyssa met with us the same day and was able to pick up everything. And we were not disappointed. She will make sure everything is perfect and will give you 110% of her time. If you don’t book with Safari and specifically ask for Alyssa you’re missing out. It’s a win win situation! Great place for events, whether you’re hosting or attending them! The staff is wonderful and the food, especially the vegetarian lasagna, is phenomenal. I’d recommend this venue to anyone and everyone. I’m sure I’ll be back soon!

The staff was A+. They were very friendly and attentive. The food was hot and delicious. The atmosphere and decor were superb. They offer complimentary valet parking. The ladies room was very clean and has a lounge area.

I visited this place for a wedding reception. Due to the Covid season, there werent a lot of guests and so it wasnt as busy. The wait staff were very attentive. There seem to be plenty of parking spots outside. I did have a small issue getting to this place as Google maps didnt show the exact entrance gate. I would have almost missed it but saw the sign board so was able to turn at the right moment. Overall, this looks like a great place to conduct a event.

We had a great time working with Safari! Monica was our point of contact and she was awesome! Safari was very easy to work with and accommodated all our requests. We had our reception at the Infinity Ballroom and it was beautiful. The cocktail hour snacks were tasty and the Indian food was on point. The main room was large and for our large guest count the space was more than enough. The main entree was beautiful and tasty and all our guests really enjoyed it! We loved that they had an alcohol package catered to the South Indian community as it had all the favorites of our community members. The bartenders and staff were kind and made our guests enjoy the event. Thanks so much to the great staff and team at Safari for making our wedding so memorable! :)

As an event planner I would highly NOT recommend Safari, solely for their extremely poor customer service. During this pandemic all of our vendors have been extremely helpful and supportive to our clients but Allan has been the complete opposite. His tone, the way he speak and his rude behavior is something NO ONE should have to deal with. Please save yourself A LOT of headache and trouble when it comes to working with them and take your business to someone who will respect you and make your dream day everything you want it to be.

Over the summer our original venue filed for bankruptcy, canceling our wedding event. We had to quickly secure a new venue within 3 months of our date & Safari was able to accommodate us plus more! Our wedding was so beautiful & exactly what we imagined! We truly lucked out when we came across Safari. We will definitely be back for future events! We had my daughters engagement party at Texas Safari Ranch on July 26, 2019. Great atmosphere, great service, amazing food. We had the best time ever. The place is very spacious with a huge dancing floor. Will consider having my daughters wedding there next year. A special thanks to Jassica Martinez. Shes a great person to work with and I cant tell you how grateful I am for your help. Thank you for everything that youve done to help me.

Grounds are not kept well. Walking several ball rooms you can spot flaking paint, missing door hardware and dirty air vents. Outdoor signs have bare wires and missing fixtures all around the property. Im sure at one point this was a nice place but it is time to either sell it or reinvest in the facility.

There are no words to describe how horrible the customer service is here. They are disrespectful, rude, and unprofessional. I would not recommend this place unless you want your event/wedding to be a nightmare. There are so many other great options, dont waste your money on a place that doesnt care about you or your experience.

Good hall for event

Many options and plans to meet your inflated budget. Several sized rooms with diverse interiors and landscape (for photography). Outside catering enthusiastically permitted. Abundant parking stalls.The Safari Ranch moniker becomes apparent once the estate grounds are fully explored which is a must before committing to an event here.

Terrible experience. I found termites when I attended a function. The service was terrible. I also booked a function for my brother in the past and the owner Allen was very rude in terms of coordination and showed too much attitude. DO NOT RECOMMEND USING THIS HALL AT ALL. STAY AWAY!

They made my sisters wedding week a nightmare. I have had to live in a home where all I heard about is their terrible customer service and bad attitude. I woke to mornings with their manager being rude and disrespectful to my mom. It has been very stressful for all of us. Horrible, they are awful.

What can you say? There is a large room filled with tables. It is clean with comfortable temperature. I have never worked with the owner to schedule an event, but the price must be right since practically every fundraiser in our area is held here.

Unfortunately there is no 0 star option, otherwise I would have chose it. I thought y’all were suppose to be THE wedding place. LOL nah, fix up.

Our Company Christmas Party. This place is awesome. Great for all types of events. This is the 3rd company party and other company events held there.

We have been to this venue many times before as guests on weddings. We hosted our anniversary party there a week ago, and could not have picked a better place! Everything went so smoothly that I did not have to stress for a minute. Jessica was our program coordinator there, and she is the BEST! Food was prepared in house - everyone loved it, it was delicious! All in all, we fell in love with the place and so did our guests. Highly recommended.

We were hosting our graduation party here. The place is beautiful. The staff at Texas Safari is excellent and very supportive. The food was excellent, table set up and arrangements beyond comparison. All of our guests were extremely happy and enjoyed every moment of the event. With multiple events happening, some of our guests had little difficulty trying to locate the place. Other than that it was great. Thank you Texas Safari.

I am absolutely disappointed with the lack of respect that the owner of this property has. Allen was screaming on the phone and being disrespectful. I would rather have a wedding on my driveway than any venue at safari. I am disgusted by the way he speaks to women, and just clients in general. Save yourself a headache and find a different venue.
