Since moving to Richmond in 2018 finding Richmond Auto Clinic has been the biggest asset!! Sunny and his team are amazing!!! They are super understanding and honestly work with you! I’ve had to have major repairs done to both of my cars and each time it was a great experience.

In my own experience, the quality of the work is less than what many of these reviews state. Maybe I just caught them at the wrong time. Pricey bill, and car has not been right since it was serviced here.

Came here 5 times in less than two weeks for the same problem (had an issue with an oxygen sensor). I was told multiple other issues it could have been and then when I tried to get the sensor replaced, the mechanic had no idea what he was doing , I had to show him where the sensor was. He had removed the wrong sensor and broke the bracket in the process. I later tried to get the other sensor fixed, only to find that it was, not only broken, but he had glued the sensor to the clamp to ensure it stayed. I tried to ask the mechanic a question before I left and he wouldnt even look me in the face. I am not one to write a negative review, but I am extremely disappointed with the work done here. I was fooled by the other reviews, this is not a good place to bring your vehicle. Also while I was waiting for my car to be worked on, I heard another mechanic scamming a custom into getting work done to pass an inspection. Terrible experience.

Richmond Auto Clinic is a great small business with skilled technicians and reasonable, fair prices. I know that my repairs will be done in a timely manner and that the quality of work will be great. The value of what you receive is definitely worth the price you pay.However, if you are a young lady visiting this place of business I would caution you to beware of a particular staff member named Bernard. He states that he is the manager, but was hesitant to answer some of the simple questions that I had regarding an alignment repair that I needed on my camber and caster. Also, he insisted on knowing personal details like if I lived alone (which in hindsight has me a bit concerned for my safety since my address is placed on the paperwork), and encouraged me to use his personal cell phone number to contact him in the future. When I began to ask more questions about the alignment process, he stated that he was not qualified to answer. He also refused to provide me with the print out of the proof of work when I requested to take it with me. Because of this, I left my vehicle and returned the next day when I could speak directly with the alignment technician and the owner. Those two did more than enough to answer my remaining questions and to rectify the challenging time I had the day before. So if you are a young lady, please be especially careful with this staff member and request to speak directly to a technician or to the owner Sunny.

Honesty is my biggest thing at any car auto shop. I always feel like they can easily say something is wrong with the car and you have no choice but to fix. But at Richmond Auto Clinic Sunny who has helped me with my car multiple times is always amazing. He helps me find a cost efficient way as well as the best way to fix my car. An example is two of my tires were perfectly fine but i went to a used tire shop to get some air and they stated that the tires were bad and needed to be replaced. I immediately went to Sunny with my tires concern and he stated they were perfectly fine and could go for another 20k-30k miles. Glad I have Richmond Auto Clinic... Thanks Guys!

I have experienced so many horrible things with mechanics and dealerships. However, I have had a piece of mind coming to the Auto Clinic. Sunny and his brother are very helpful and do not make you feel like a number. I feel like a customer they know and remember and they take great care of my vehicle. Took my car for inspection, after I got my car back my breaks don’t feel the same. So I just told myself that I was being paranoid. Took my wife’s car for inspection as well, the same thing happened. Now her breaks don’t feel the same either. Coincident, I doubt it. Something seems off about that.

Sunny is doing an excellent job. Very friendly and always try to help you. Many times I compared the prices for the jobs with other stores and they are always less expensive.I would definitely recommend them as I have been going there for past 3 plus years and no complains so far.

Really nice owner Sunny went above and beyond to help me get my truck alignment done on a Saturday. Very fair, explains issues, and reasonable prices. Highly recommended and extremely competitive prices vs what else is out there. Communicated with me how long it was going to be and ended up staying late for me which was unexpected. Thank you for going extra mile for customer on a weekend to get it done.

Awful service, do not trust them

Excellent service! I needed a right wheel bearing. The price was almost less than half of what the dealer was asking for. If you are looking for a dealership atmosphere, this is not your place. If you want/need good work at a reasonable price, then this is your spot. This is my 2nd visit. The 1st was in July after my failed state inspection. I will be going back for additional auto work.

First they would not inspect one of my cars because it has an aftermarket exhaust on it. They offer to put the stock back on for $200 which is crazy. I decide to take my other vehicle there because I try telling myself they just take their job seriously. Then after waiting and not hearing back I drop in because I was passing by only to find they have rejected my other car. They say they called me but they didnt, then it changed to voicemail but I didnt have one... oh but they can fix the control arm bushings for $700! I will never be returning here and I suggest you dont waste your time.

Sunny runs an efficient, honest business. They have worked on 3 of our vehicles in the past 1.5 years. The cost is always reasonable, Sunny explains the technical details and is dependable in terms of communication. We are moving further away from his shop and will continue to drive back there for our vehicle needs.

Did extensive repairs on my vehicle. they discussed what needed to be done, and why.once I agreed to repairs we went over each repair and the estimated cost. during repairs they kept me updated on progress. once they finish was very please and impressed with the results of the performance of my vehicle. will HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!!!!

Quality work and gets things done right and fast. Used their services for the first time because I lived nearby, but even when I moved I still come here for oil changes, annual safety inspections etc. Great and honest mechanics and would highly recommend this to everyone.

They do great labor work on your vehicle by the books. However, they need improvement with time management and following up phone calls with customer. No data or management system of your vehicle previously being serviced.

Excellent service! Honest about what work needs to be done! They will even take you back to show you on your vehicle what is the problem and describe what needs to be done to fix it. I use jahnke rd auto reapir& exhaust regularly for my Toyota maintenance (which now has 240,000 miles and runs great and recommended them to my family and friends. Anyone reading this-you will not be disappointed!!!!GREAT MECHANIC AND BEST PRICES!!!!

They also do Virginia inspection $20 but you need 40 mints at least

This is a great place to come as a single woman who might be reluctant to have car repairs in fear of being ripped off by mechanics. I remember hearing a large grinding noise under my car as I drove. I called to see if I could come in. The mechanic found a useless piece of metal under my car, removed it, showed it to me, explained the purpuse and disposed of it. The noise disappeared. No charge. I went back today and was expecting to pay alot of money to have my wheel lock key broken on all four tires and bolts replaced. The mechanic discovered that my wheel lock wasnt even broken and told me how to take the wheel lock off (I wasnt able to remove the lock because the key was bent in the inside). He said that there was no need to spend all the money to get them all replaced, but I had to really bang the key on the lock to take it off. Walking out having paid $25 and expecting to have paid alot more happens alot at this place. Ive had other good experiences here as well. These mechanics are knowledgeable and trustworthy in my opinion.

Crooks. Car was already inspected before I bought car to be looked at. Inspector began to tell me how my left wiper needed to be replaced and a barely lose ball joint. BARELY loose at all. Take your money else where. They will lie to your face if you dont know what your car actually needs.
