Setting up appointment was easy and the staff person who answered my call could not have been nicer. She was able to get me a quick appointment, send reminder messages/e-mails. On the day of the service call, the technician was on time and got right to work. He diagnosed the problem quickly and set about fixing it. He had to search the local area for a place that had the part that was needed, went and got it, and installed it...all within an hour.

Highly recommend this company. Friendly, professional and trustworthy. They text you a photo of your tech, call to let you know they are coming. Didn’t push a costly repair, and was very informative. Marcus is a top notch tech!!

I never felt so good spending money with Mr appliance. I tried reaching five other companies left a message no one ever called me back. When I call Mr appliance they answered on the 2nd or 3rd ring. The lady on the other line was very informative and extremely nice. They explain the entire process to me and what would take place and then they delivered what they said. The technician was on time they contacted me by text sent me a picture of the technician and called 5 minutes before he was supposed to be there. The customer service and knowledge of repair is outstanding. I will definitely use them again if needed and will recommend them highly to anybody that needs repair on their appliances.

Our refrigerator gasket was ripped and shredded almost. Chris and his associate were very professional, on time, and provided good quality work. They not only replaced the gasket, but repaired our ice maker, and cleaned the grill off. An agent called before they arrived, and told me approximately how soon to expect them. They wore their masks and shoe coverings. Overall, their service was very professional, and I would recommend Mr. Appliance to anyone who is experiencing appliance issues! Kudos Chris!!!!

Samsung Freezer drawer would not close. I was able to secure a same day appointment. Service associate was respectful, knowledgeable, and thorough. He was able to remove all ice build up and drain clog, and ensured the drawer closed as expected. Extremely satisfied with the service performed, worth every penny! I needed the heat element replaced. They were able to order the part and get me scheduled and make the repair. We did have to wait for the part from the manufacturer and Mr. Appliance kept me informed throughout the whole process. They sent me an email and text showing me a picture of my service person so I knew who to expect. They gave me a two hour window to schedule the repair to be completed in. Then he called me to let me know that he was on his way and about how long it would take for him to arrive at my home. He made the repairs in a timely fashion and was done before I knew it. I have used them before for my fridge and washing machine as well. They’re the absolute best!!!

Our refrigerator stopped cooling properly and the first company I called couldn’t come out until a week later. I called Mr. Appliance and they were able to send a technician out to our home within an hour. He easily diagnosed the issue and went to pick up the part that needed replacing and came back to fix our refrigerator. Everything was fixed and ready to go in under 2 hours. They have done a fine job. I had to call them out for my washing machine and then 2 weeks later for my dryer. They were fast and very knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend them. Also, Jimmy and Nicole have been great.

Dave worked diligently to check out the oven and diagnose that the internal thermometers were going/gone bad. One was very bad the other suspect based on the ohm readings. He recommended replacing both to be sure and get the most wear out of the ovens as possible. Parts were ordered and he returned timely a few days later to install and make sure everything was working. Easy, efficient and fair price.

Called 3 times the day of the appointment to confirm the time betwen 12-5. Noone ever called me back, they no called/no showed me. Horrible communication and I have still yet to receive a call back from them. I cant speak on their actual work because noone ever showed up. I would not recommend this business due to their communication and poor customer service.

Epilogue: the saga continues. After a visit from their technician, was informed it was a plumbing problem related to low water pressure, which lo and behold began after their second visit. So i had a plumber come out and clear the lines to both the dishwasher and kitchen sink. I then called their service line, and once again was met with confusion. They still have no record of our multiple visits, and each time treat us like strangers. I explained that this would be the fourth (4th) trip to our residence, and Nicole--who I now believe to be the name of everyone there--set up an appointment for me. However, this morning we received a call informing us that they were not coming out and set a date for service 6 days from today. Informing us that because we were a new client, we were getting bumped. 👏 👏 Bravo Nicole, bravo👏 👏Addendum: (This positive experience has been voided by above epilogue. Et tu Nicoletta?) Nicole from Mr. Appliance has contacted us and was very helpful and focused on problem solving our dilemma. She was able to send someone today to review our problem and start us toward a solution.Our experience has been awful. We asked that a technician come out and fix our dishwasher, 3 times. Each time has been less impressive than the last, the first time he came out and basically threw his hands up and said Ill be back, which he was almost a week later this time with a helper/ trainee. They succeeded in change a line/valve then left before they confirmed the repair worked--it did not. Now all the water pressure in my kitchen sink from which they ran the new line is a trickle. Everytime we have called them to make an appointment, it is like we are a new customer who they do not know and often deny having performed any service--until we harangue them with the truth and retell our experience. Currently my dishwasher is busted and I cant use my kitchen sink to wash dishes. They wont send a tech until next week and basically give no care about the boondoggle they have created for me.

I wont be calling Mr. Appliance again. I had a dishwasher leak which i knew of due to the hardwood tile being warped. The technician showed up, confirmed there was a leak by seeing rust on the kick plate (without running the dishwasher) and quoted me $700.00 to replace the inner liner of the dishwasher and another part plus their labor. His recommendation was buy a new dishwasher. I asked him to test to dishwasher because i was worried it was a simple leak in a water hose - he didnt want to do it and was adamant he had diagnosed it correctly. I gave him his $99 diagnostic fee and sent him off to his next job. The issue is a leak in one of the water hoses - its a $10 part from lowes. Im fixing it on my own. I just didnt recognize how lazy these technicians are - so focused on collecting their diagnostic fees and not doing real work to help customers...

David was quick to figure out the problems and present choices of solutions. Gave an accurate estimate and completed the service promptly.

Very knowledgeable about my dryer and other appliances. I was shown exactly what was wrong and what was needed to get this back to a practically “brand new” state. His recommendation of a vent cleaning was excellent since I didn’t realize all build up that I couldn’t see.

They couldn’t open the panel of my fridge which was built with ice just said I needed a new control board which samsung didnt sell any longer. I had to open it myself and melt the ice! I do have an invoice!and I want to say this review is for mr. Appliance of richmond not for mr. Appliance llcEdit: the issue is not the part that samsung didnt sell any more the issue is refusing to take off the screws and to not even bother to open the panel, the fan was built up with ice avoiding the air flow. I melted the ice and put it back and it is working great now! Thanks to the youtube video!

Quickly diagnosed problem, gave me a fair quote, tracked down part( only 1 in US) then came back and fixed. He followed all Covid precautions and I felt very safe. Best of a rough crowd. Only shop that would work on an LG dryer and would put visit fee towards repair if you chose to move forward. Staff on phone were courteous and they have a good appointment follow up process.

We could have not been more pleased with our experience with Mr. Appliance of Richmond. Scheduling process was fast and very efficient. I especially liked the text and email confirmation. You receive the name of your technician beforehand and a picture so you can identify. Turns out our tech finished a job early and the very polite scheduler called to see if we would prefer him to head on over early. Our tech, Junior, was friendly and professional. Our dryer was fixed within the hour and he showed us exactly where the problem was. I recommend this company 100%! It can be stressful to deal with a household appliance issues but they make it as easy as possible. I will be referring clients to them!

Ive used Mr. Appliance of Richmond twice now and will use them again in the future. They make scheduling easy, they are on time and professional and they get the job done. They are a bit expensive though. In most cases, youre spending a good chunk of the value of the appliance itself to get it repaired.

I was having trouble with my washer so my friend referred me. They came out the very next day after my initial call. The gals in the office were extremely polite and friendly! Junior was amazing-he called when he was en route to my home and had gloves on and cleaned up after himself. He was super knowledgeable and gave me the most cost-effective option when he could have sold me something I truly didn’t need and I sure wouldn’t have known the difference! Service technician arrived on time, was professional, and accurately diagnosed the issue with our oven, which he thought was electric and advised us to get an electrician before replacing a part on the oven. Held a part for us just in case since it was right before Thanksgiving but turns out we didn’t need it. Oven was fine. The breaker was not. Appreciate not being sold something we did not need. Will definitely use Mr Appliance again when I need something fixed!

Junior arrived early and went to work, quickly spotting a wiring problem that I has no idea existed. The easy fix would have been to swap out ice makers, but he took the time to find the less obvious...and less costly fix. Appreciate how he took pains to carefully explain all our options.

When I first placed the call I spoke to Receptionist Jessica. She was so polite, so pleasant and at the same time highly professional. Jessica understood my problem immediately and was taking my data to place appointment for me. She got everything right: address, name, pronunciation. She rechecked every details and offer me an appointment. It was refrigerator problem. It was hot, I was without ability to keep my food safe and really needed someone to check the problem as I might needed to look for the new fridge as my sister told me from her past experiences. I also had to start a long cycle of work in the two days. Jessica gave me the closest appointment within 3 days. I asked to put me on cancellation list - she kindly has done so. A couple hours later Jessica called and found the opened spot for an earlier appointment. It made me very happy and hopeful. When I soon got email with the confirmation and the photo of assigned technician I sought “ This company has unmatched service”, and My trust in the quality of upcoming work got even stronger.My feelings did not deceive me. The technician Mr. Bill was just as polite, knowledgeable, accurate as Jessica was. He found the problem in a minute, offer to pick up necessary part and installed it in a couple of hours. All details of appointment, phone calls before arrivals were documented on the spot and delivered to my email instantly. The price was very reasonable, lower then I expected. Mr Appliance was recommended by the Summit refrigerator company as able to make repairs on their brand. Customer service was helpful and excellent. The repair person, David, had a great attitude.I looked a long time to find an affordable refrigerator with all the features I wanted - counter depth, freezer on bottom, not huge (I’m single with a small kitchen), preferably American made. Its major flaw is its rarity in this area. Thank goodness Mr Appliance gives such good service.

Very professional care. I was able to get an appointment within 2 days of looking online. They called the day of my appointment to see if the technician could come a little early as he was running ahead of schedule. They texted me the name and photo of the technician before he came; that made me feel safe. Davide was my technician and he is great. He did his evaluation, and then he explained everything in details, but also in terms that I understood. He also was very cost conscientious and did not try to push parts or service plans or anything. I was extremely happy with the service. And best of all, my refrigerator works great again!

My serviceman who came and arrived on time was David Solomon. I can’t say thank you enough for the wonderful care he gave me during his visit. His visit was to service my refrigerator. Sad to say my refrig can’t be repaired, and David explained to me why, including taking pictures for me. When I told him I was a retired little people teacher, he made his explanation easy for me to understand, which was so important later on his visit! David noticed the terrible smell in my house that I have had for over a month. I told him that I had a plumber and Mr. Rotor try to fix it to no avail. I told him I thought it was coming from my washer. David called a serviceman who specializes in washers. Between the two of them, hoping to stop the sewer smell, they may have solved the terrible smell as David repaired what the other man directed him to do! David made a drawing of what was wrong and how he repaired it! Again, there are not enough thank you s for David! He deserves to be recognized for his service!
