There’s literally nowhere to do strength training. I pay to go to a gym to have SPACE. These trainers come in and hog all the rooms. Definitely discontinuing coming here. I barely get a workout in cause of this.

Very small with limited equipment for fairly high membership price. May be a lower rating due to great experiences Ive had with other Crunch gyms in the past

I have been a member of this Gym for many years now! I can only say that this is the best gym I have been to so far and I have been to so many gyms here in the U.S, France, Spain and Morocco. The instructors for the group exercises are Great! All the equipments are nice and clean.I like the whole team at Crunch Fitness Reston. The facility is very clean; I dont think Ive ever been there without seeing the cleaning ladies around making sure the floors and locker rooms are clean.Please keep up the good work!!

I was comparing Crunch Fitness to Golds Gym and there was no comparison. Pierre gave me a tour and I was impressed! Very clean, new machines in excellent condition, adequate cardio machines and a super clean locker room where shampoo and soap are provided. Pierre was very helpful and did not pressure us to sign at the end of the tour. Have only been one time since signing up last week and it was not crowded at all there were cleaning staff on site cleaning as members worked out. Great place to get in shape!

Hands down, best gym in the Reston area. Machines are new, weights are always racked, and most importantly the entire place is spotless. 10/10!

I’ve been a member at the Crunch Fitness in Reston for years. I’ve lived in Switzerland and London and have been a member of many fitness clubs and gyms over the years. I’ve never come across a cleaner facility or friendlier staff. It has a wide array of equipment and open spaces for tons of different styles of training and exercise. There’s really something for everyone here! Can’t imagine going anywhere else.

Just like other people have said abc fitness does the membership and its a nightmare to cancel. Stay away, its not worth it. You cant just cancel, you have to jump through hoops. You also have to send a signed written statement saying you dont want it to renew 30 days before renewal or they will renew your membership

I have been going to the Crunch Fitness at Reston for years and always impressed by the facilities provided at this gym, wonderful trainers, upbeat fitness classes and well maintained machines. The front desk is extremely helpful of member needs. In all one of the best gyms in the Reston town center area!

From the first interaction with Jamie (Awesome Manager) to the entire staff, this gym was amazing. Brigette is an excellent trainer, and the Personal Training Manager, Melinda was also extremely helpful. Front desk and cleaning crew were always friendly as well.Everything was clean and new. The place was friendly and welcoming. My membership and all dealings with everyone could not have been easier.

I was a member here for just over five years; it was my second home! Jamie Toombs is very professional, friendly, and it is evident that he cares about his members. The only reason I canceled my membership is that the location was no longer ideal for me. The gym is always clean with showers and a spacious locker room. Excellent weight lifting equipment. Members and staff are welcoming and kind. If I were ever to work or live in the area again, I would join again!

Cleanliness is on point throughout the day. First day i walked in i noticed the Precautionary measures this gym took in order to maintain order and keep their members safe. Social Distancing signs are placed throughout the gym and staff is constantly cleaning. There is a nice order to things and the culture in general is great!

Scammers. They make it impossible to cancel membership. I visited the club to ask to cancel. They said I had to call a separate company and they gave me a card. I called that company, ABC Financial, who told me that I had to send a certified letter to a DIFFERENT company. Massive shell game. Do not play it. Stay away from Crunch.

Signed up for a free trial today at the gym on their website. When I got to the front desk, I was informed by the receptionist that the free trial costs $10. And then she asked if I wanted to sign up....

This place is just simply amazing, the trainer is so knowledgeable and kind. This is not just a gym for me but more like a family :) who trains together.If anyone wants home like feeling and wants to get fit, this is the place to be!

Turns out the Free 1 Day Pass is not free. Costs $10 to use the gym. Nothing special equipment/gym wise from other gyms in NoVa. Place gets 2 stars only because the manager has extreme OCD and keeps it in good form. Average gym

Excellent facilities, nice location

Absolute shame on part of Crunch management to make it impossible to cancel a gym membership. I ask my membership to be canceled and they tell me to reach out to abcfinancial, who then ask for proof of document, which I give them and then they say the document doesn’t meet their criteria. Also, my one year contract ends in Jan 2021 but because the gym was closed due to COVID19 they extended my 1 year membership by the number of months they were closed. Ridiculous.

The absolute cleanest gym in the D.C. metro area. No children, also, make for a pleasant and relaxing experience. Modern equipment, towel service, hot showers and always the perfect temperature and level of music. I cannot say that for other nearby gyms which are humid and filthy.Highly recommend.

My husband experienced some serious health issues shortly after we signed up for a membership plan.The staff, including Andrea were very accommodating, allowing our membership dues to be waived during his treatment. A some note or an email from his physician was all that was required.I would recommend Crunch Fitness. Great to have no hassle during a stressful time. Great equipment, classes and cleanliness of facilities as well. Good value for your money. Kind and professional staff, sometimes rare these days.

Although the gym itself was nice and the equipment was kept up well just try to quit under perfectly legitimate contractual reasons.For months I was charged after I finish my contract with them which by the way was a month to month. They continue to charge my account for months after I had canceled and when I had noticed they have now gone on for a month and a half or more just returning emails saying that they will get to it right away that they will get to it right away. Nothing shows a companys Ethical behavior better than when the company needs to Make a refund. Still waiting!

Great place and so convenient. Parking at RTC is free on the weekends and it’s across the street from Crunch!I belong to other gym, but during their renovation, Crimch was an option. I prefer this place to the other already. No kids and a lot of equipment here.

Clean and stylish double floor gym with everything you need. Join any class anytime free. Sauna. Free parking. A winner in my book and I wouldn’t go anywhere else!

Cleanest gym in the area. Staff seems generally interested in helping you and encouraging you. Classes and trainers are fun and interesting. I love to run and bike. The fact that the W/Od trail is blocks away makes this place even greater!

Super clean. Staffs constantly clean equipments throughout the day. I love the cleanliness whenever I visit. Super clean locker area. Great front desk too. Did I say super clean? Well worth $. Even at $100 a month, I would keep membership. Its like Equinox without swimming pool. Wish morning cycling classes began at 7am instead of 5:30am.

If you want results this is the place to be. Everything you need and more exist at this location. The staff is super knowledgeable and cool. They have the latest equipment a gym could have. Its expensive gym, but you get what you pay for. Staff is friendly, gym is extremely clean, you can purchase health related snacks & gym attire, and bathrooms are high quality.The only complaint or feedback worth giving is the time availability that the gym is open for. The gym gets crowded in the evening (assuming everyones coming from work) and they do open early, but not early enough to workout before I head to work, and because of this Ive had to open another gym membership with planet fitness while maintaining this one. If the gym would open/close an hour or Two earlier/later I feel as though itd be more convenient for me and other customers that dont have schedules that fit crunch fitnesses time frame.

This place is great - its clean, the staff are friendly, and there are tons of classes to choose from. My only issue with this gym is that its a bit small and at night can get a little crowded. Luckily I am a morning person and usually can squeeze my workout in in the morning to avoid this issue, though.

I love Crunch Fitness in Reston, really chill atmosphere, cool people, plenty of room to work out- 2 floors, nice bathroom, TVs all over the place. I love the fact that its dim lighting compared to the BRIGHT WHITE lights at other gyms. 5 stars

Conveniently located in Reston Town Center, it’s a great gym for its size. The facility is less than a year old so everything is shiny and new. The women’s locker room is stocked with body wash, hair dryers, lotion, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, mouthwash and q-tips. It isnt a mega gym, so there isnt a pool, basketball court, racquetball or child care (think Sport & Health or Life Time) but you are also paying 1/3 the price for membership. They offer the classes you would expect in a gym (Yoga, Spin etc.). The staff is super friendly and can’t beat the membership rates with a stick.

I just moved here from San Diego, this was the first gym I tried out in Virginia and fell in love with it. It’s extremely clean at all times, the staff is very helpful and courteous, and there’s plenty of equipment for any style of training.

Love everything about this gym. Next month (July 2015) will make my one year member. You can beat the rate plus the staffs are super friendly and super cute.. I signed my cousin and my girlfriends up.. so i brought people to the gym..

Ive been a Crunch member for a few months, and I couldnt be happier with my selection over other clubs in the area.A few items that really set this place apart:*The staff are friendly and assertive without being overtly sales oriented.*The gym has 3 racks and 1 smith machine. Though I avoid the rush hours (6-8pm), Ive never had to wait on a rack. They also have two weightlifting platforms, and multiple turf areas that give lifters plenty of options, space, and availability.*The place is pristine. It smells good, looks good, and is always nice and cool.*If you forget your headphones, theres a 50% chance theyll be playing grunge / metal. So all is not lost.

I requested a cancellation of my membership in March, but the gym continued to charge me, and did not offer a refund for the month of July. Stay far away from this gym.

Fulfilled my year membership. Tried to cancel multiple times. Called and emailed over 6 times. Still getting billed once a month, 5 months after I moved out of state. Tried to contact corporate offices and they were not helpful. Could not even get the number from the local office and manager is never available. Worst gym experience of my life and I will have to contact a lawyer apparently to settle this and get my money back. Reporting to BBB.

Dont get me wrong, clean place and lots of classes. But when I signed up and saw the reviews about how messy things can get when your contract ends or you no longer want to go here I completely ignored them. Dont ignore them!! They are right and so am I. This place will keep billing you time after time. I had Jenny tell me she couldnt do anything about it (Ill be living in a different state) because it wouldnt be fair to the members. Trust me when I say they will work to get every dollar they can from you.

I would go as far as calling these people scammers. Sure the service is nice. Equipments always clean and they offer great facilities. But, when I tried MULTIPLE times to contact Crunch Reston about canceling (money is a bit tight at the moment), they did everything in their power to dodge my request. As of right now, I have total silence from them. Its been two months that Ive been trying and my card is STILL being charged.Dont go to these people unless you plan on staying at Crunch for the rest of your life.

Its a nice gym, with relatively new and clean equipment. However, beware that theyll keep charging your credit card even after youve quit them. I signed up explicitly for a 1 month period but they kept charging my credit card for over a year.

BEWARE- DO NOT JOIN HERE!!! There is no end or out. When I joined I was told by Ron A. a manager or co manager that I could cancel ANYTIME! Whether an annual or other they respected member requests to terminate with 30mdays notice effective the first day of the month following your written request. I have suffered some serious back problems and unable to go walked in this evening under the mindset of what I was told by their employee. Sadly I learned that the others who have messaged here are correct they do not want to terminate the membership. That is rude and unprofessional enough given what I was promised by R.A. Yet reading these reviews now I have to fear they will never end this thing even at the 1 year end. I will continue from this point working to terminate it. I will schedule at my time and expense an appointment with my physician to follow-up on the medical note and I will reach out to any additional resources to call this company into account for what their business practices are and the promises their sales force make.The single star is there because I don’t know how to post anything without one. There were many good things I thought about the facility until this point in time.

Great facility, and when i joined i loved it due mainly to the fact it wasnt ever super crowded. However, as of late between 5-8pm its unbelievably crowded, which kind of turns me off. BUT, the staff is amazing, the equipment is great.

Cannot begin to tell you how awesome this gym is - recently moved down to VA and its the first place thats felt like home! In fact, Ive got an upcoming move about 30 miles away from this gym but Im considering keeping my membership here and making the drive just because I like it so much!The staff is so friendly, takes the time to get to know you and greets you by name, and keeps the place in super clean and functional shape. The facilities team is amazing - they keep the place spotless and are constantly sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and washing up every time I am in the building.The other thing I absolutely LOVE about this gym is that the team actively solicits member feedback on ways to improve and is not shy about ordering new requested equipment. Since Ive been there (~12 mo) theyve added two deadlift platforms, a new prowler, new Rogue barbells and Im sure even more things that Im forgetting right now. Combine that with the three power racks and two benches and you rarely have to wait too long.I havent tried many of the classes but if thats your thing, they offer a ton of options all day long and the instructors seem to get stellar reviews as well - and all at no additional charge.Ive heard they recently raised their monthly rates to keep the crowds down, but Id be willing to bet that even at the higher rate this gym would still be worth the cost.

I LOVE working out at Cruch fitness. Started a 6 month personal training session with Bridget Borges and it has been amazing! She is the best!!The gym is very clean, has agood selection of mashines and weights, fun and intense group workout classes and friendly staff. Definitely recommend Crunch!

Fabulous group fitness instructors, friendly atmosphere, helpful front desk staff. My favorite instructors are Michelle, Rhonda and Melissa; their classes ALWAYS challenging and very fun!

Friendly reception staff, and big open spaces filled with up to date equipment make this gym one of the best deals around. Lots of different classes to choose from and an encouraging atmosphere.

This gym will continue to charge you after you cancel your membership and you will never get a refund. We contacted the manager several times. They are blatant enough to agree to refund us but still ignored us every time after we left. Okay, we will see you in court!!!

Not the best place for the price. No racquetball, no swimming pool, no sauna, and the price is way too much. Plus you pay for parking!?And this location is not kid friendly.On the plus side, they are clean and have towel service.
