Very professional and very pricey chimney service. Technically knowledgeable staff has the word on chimneys, communicates well, puts the client at ease, very prompt and web savvy bidding and scheduling, just make sure you’re sitting down when they give you the bill. I have faith in this company, but it’s more of a boutique, upper-middle class service that needs more price competition, or perhaps they are indifferent to pricing and charge whatever they want. Remember, this is not rocket science, I’m planning on burning wood in a brick and mortal column at the south end of my living room. Having said all this, they did a great job replacing my chimney cap with a new stainless steel unit and the staff were very likable, although the pricing is rapacious.

During a remodel we were required by the city to rebuild our working chimney to ‘new code’. After it was rebuilt it no longer drew well. I asked a few places what to do but it wasn’t until my friend referred me to Chimcare that I got some answers.Ethan and Pat came out to fix the chimney, even earlier than I had hoped as they had finished another job early. They explained what they were doing, and why - which matched what we were told initially. Both were very professional and helpful.Now I have a working fireplace again. Now I will need to call you to sweep it soon too ;)Thank you Chimcare!

Chimcare was able to accommodate all our requests and even able to move the work up a few days as they had an opening that worked for both us and their crew. Chimney looks so much better after the work. Only a bit of a hiccup on understanding the work to be done after we got the quote but we sorted that out.

Andrew from Chimcare was awesome when he came out to do our chimney sweep and inspection. He kept us in the loop as he performed the tasks. Quick and clean. Gave us a thorough wrap-up and quote for repairs at the end. Low pressure. He just let us know what was the most important to fix. Very personable and professional. He really loves his work!A few months later, we scheduled with Harold to have Dan & Ricardo came out to replace our chimney caps, rebuild the crown and tuck-point the stack. These experienced masons were professional and friendly, and made sure to let us know to close our windows BEFORE they started grinding out the grout and creating a dust storm. I was blown away with Chimcare’s service from my initial request for a quote all the way through to project completion.When I requested the initial quote, they were very responsive. Being a very picky person, I requested the quote be changed multiple times and had numerous questions. Chimcare thoroughly and professionally met my needs and concerns each time and ensured I was completely satisfied with the quote before moving forward. I felt very informed and confident the entire time.Two very professional workers tore down my existing wooden chase and rebuilt it. This included the removal and installation of the flue for the fireplace, the flashing around the chimney, a brand new stainless steel chimney cover, and a complete paint job to match the existing house paint (trim too). This was professional grade construction. It took them four days to complete. They even reached out to me when they discovered the wood rotted farther than I had realized. They truly cared about their work and the finished product is the paramount of remarkable craftsmanship. The Chimney and Chase were also inspected for fire safety during the re-build.After the work, the office was very helpful in arranging payments.All-in-all, my experiences with the entire staff were nothing but positive. This company operates like a well-oiled machine and I would strongly recommend them to anyone seeking quality service with peace of mind for their chimney repair needs.

I had myself all built up expecting a hard sell for a new $5000 gas fireplace before I even called Chimcare. The voice message/answering machine was a little off putting...but pretty much everything after that was more than I could have hoped for. The young lady that called was very professional, seemed to know what seemed like the right questions to ask. I had a text message reflecting my new appointment before we were even finished talking...and a photo identifying technician which was so appreciated! I received a reminder a few days before the appt and a text from Mike the technician that he was on his way. He was very pleasant, respectful and loves dogs. It was a very nice experience and the best part was the fact that he was able to identify the problem quickly. Even better was that the price was no where close to what I feared. I will certainly call Chimcare Renton for my annual maintenance and guidance when any problems come up. I was soooo happy my neighbor had offered this recommendation!!! We were extremely happy with the service we received from Chimcare and service technician Mike Souza. We had NO idea that gas fireplaces required maintenance--or that the logs and insets shouldnt be rearranged. Mike thus found a big mess when he arrived at our house! Mike was very professional and very patient with us. He did a beautiful job cleaning and restoring our two fireplaces to excellent working order. We highly recommend Chimcare--the service was well worth the price and it was a real pleasure meeting such a capable and courteous service person.

These guys were great! Gave me a call to see if they could show up early as they were ahead of schedule that day. They were very friendly, covered everything inside the house near the fireplace, wore their PPE, and left the fireplace smelling nice and clean. I would highly recommend this company!

This service was amazing, we have an unusual roof that is metal and needs special care when walking on it. Jeff had previous experience with the roof type and knew what to do. He inspected the chimney and cleaned it, took photos prior and after so I could see the difference.Chimcare will be annual go to for cleaning.Paula

Robby was very professional and helpful! We hadnt serviced our gas fireplace in 10 years. In fact, we didnt think it ever worked. He got it up and running and it looks beautiful now! Appreciated the time he spent explaining to me how to correct this issue in the future in case it ever popped up again.

We just got into our new(to us) house, and the chimney is something we were looking forward to using. However, I wanted to be safe so I called Chimcare to see if I liked the feel of the company. And I was not only impressed, but was excited to work with them. Daniel, the technician, came out and was prompt, professional, and incredibly respectful of our home, and the work needed. I had an appointment scheduled for today. This morning I received a call asking if they could come earlier in the day, I told them no my daughters coming over and can’t be there until this afternoon. My appointment was for 3 PM and at 2:30 I received a call saying they needed to cancel. I have a new install of a gas fireplace scheduled for Monday and they knew that. When they said they could reschedule they weren’t able to get me in until February 8. They tried to say it was a family emergency but the fact they called me this morning to reschedule for an earlier time shows that they clearly had something they wanted to do this afternoon. They wanted to charge $298 for a basic chimney cleaning which come to find out is way overpriced. Rescheduling within 30 minutes of my appointment time was unprofessional and the fact that they wanted to reschedule for two weeks later when this was their issue was unheard of. I would not recommend this company.
