I used Haugen Construction to renovate an attached garage in a 1942 home, that could best be described as abysmal an unusable. When we started this project, the owner asked me what level of perfection I wanted on a scale of 1-5. I asked for a 3 being this is a garage and doesn’t need to be perfect like a homes interior. Haugen ended-up delivering 5+ when it was all said and done. He ran into every problem imaginable, including a sizeable slope in the house, which is unacceptable for installing a functional garage door. He solved each and every problem to as near perfect as possible, and used subcontractors that delivered the same degree of quality work as Haugen. Additionally, in areas I chose to do myself (e.g.: painting), he helped educate me with tips and tricks on how the pros do it. If I could offer a rating higher than a 5, I would give it to Haugen. I’d definitely use Haugen Construction again.
