Great customer service from Kierra (sp?). The service is prompt, and the cleaning is thorough. In and out quickly. Wonderful dry cleaner.
The people at this place are very nasty, short and unpleasant. I hate to write a review that says negative things about a small business because I know how hard it is to run one. But I think that the company should do some rethinking about their company attitude. The cleaning that they did for me was fine. But I suggest going down the street to Pristine. They are super friendly and helpful.
I took a coat to Peerless to have it repaired. They kept the coat for twice the time they estimated for the work. It took so long, I just gave up on having them repair the coat, and I asked for the item back. But when I went to pick up the coat at the store where I left it, they said they didnt know where it was. I had to drive across town to the main store where I found out they were cleaning the coat, which was not a service I wanted.
1. They completely ruined a family heirloom dress from the 1920s-40s and knew there was a chance of ruining it with dry cleaning. They didnt call to make sure I wanted it cleaned even if there was a possibility of it getting ruined (which I absolutely would have said, dont clean it then).2. It took me calling 3 times to actually find out where the dress was and that it even got ruined. The owner offered a $25 credit (gee... thanks).3. They still hadnt dropped it off when they said they would and it took me calling again to find out they wanted me to come pick it up to be able to issue the credit.4. I called again to tell them Id like it dropped off. I received a text a week later saying that it was dropped off to my office, which it wasnt so I called AGAIN and they didnt know where it was.5. They called back and said it will be dropped off next week. Heres to not holding my breath on whether theyll drop it off...What a SH&! show and $25 for a priceless dress that you wont be able to ever find again. I know where I WONT be going for dry cleaning ever again...
Best cleaners in town!!
Ive always had great service here. Everyone is friendly, the cleaning is never late and the price is reasonable. I like that they are green too. They lost a pair of pants once but they reimbursed me and then some by giving me a credit. Great business!
Fast and helpful.
New to Peerless in September. First use was excellent. I have lots of Tommy Bahama silk shirts and the next visit was absolutely as if the just pressed the shirts and the spots were just as when I dropped them. Also, I was over charged at $8.50 per shirt after calling for a TB pricing and was told $6.50...Will not return and advise others of this lack.
I like the fact that they are certified green, and they do a pretty good job with dry cleaning and with wash/dry/fold -- but they arent friendly. I always feel as if Im imposing on them when I drop off or pick up my laundry. The one thing I really dont like, though, is that they dont count your clothes on the receipt -- be really careful when you drop off so that you know exactly what youre dropping off. My husband thinks he may have lost a sweater. But I cant say for sure theyve lost anything, unfortunately, I didnt have anything to show either way because the number of items wasnt on the drop off ticket or the receipt.
I brought my wedding dress here to be cleaned and the result was awful. Buttons still dirty. Hair in the lace. The thing that surprised me the most was that the very heavy dress was hanging by the mesh sleeves and not by the garment loops, ruining the shoulder seams. This makes me believe that Norm, the owner who helped me, has no knowledge of garment care. When I complained about the terrible manner in which they cleaned and handled my dress, Norms employee said that he worked on the dress for two hours. I was told when dropping the dress off that it would be sent out. Im confused as to why the dress wasnt sent out to a company that knew how to clean wedding dresses. Anyway, Norm was rude and was not at all concerned with customer satisfaction as I argued that the service was certainly not worth what he was charging. With severely shaking hands and sweat on his brow, he said, I am not going to negotiate with you. Norm, you were dead wrong. In case norm has an argument about me becoming dissatisfied, he was fully aware that I was dissatisfied, Also, writing a review the same week I picked up the dress would not have been a good idea as I was quite emotional after finding Norm had ruined my $1500 dress. Now that some time has passed, I am able to write a review in order to warn others.
Thank-you so much Maria and staff for saving a BHN company polo that I had brought from a more expensive competitor and looked like they handed it back to me out of a hamper! Wasnt the first time either. Needless to say i am now a Peerless Cleaners customer thanks to Maria and staff and their exceptional friendly and amazing service. The polo honestly looks better than brand new!!! Not sure how you guys make it look like that but WOW!!
Nice staff and they seem to be pretty fast. Never had any issues over the year that I have been using them. They claim to use more eco friendly cleaning methods so thats a plus.
Took over 6 weeks to have my dress cleaned and preserved, not because thats how long it takes, but because they messed up the process twice. First attempt to pick it up it was discovered it was tagged incorrectly when dropped off, delaying processing by two weeks. I came back at the time I was told but the dress wasnt there...and I was advised the manager needed to call me. I didnt hear back from the manager so I began to freak out, its been a month, have they lost my precious wedding dress?? When calling the manager is not available. The manager also fails at calling when promised. Finally after another week the dress showed up. The useless counter attendants was not able to honor a discount but said the manager would call to work things out. As expected, never heard from them again. I will never return or recommend Peerless CleanersTLDR; Unresponsive, mass delays, and then charged full price.
What horrible and unfriendly service, especially from Management and ownership. An awful representation for businesses in Reno. We WERE a large customer, but never again after being treated in the most unprofessional way today. Good Luck. If I could give negative stars I would.
I love this Dry Cleaner! They are nice, not to mention they do pick up and drop off at my office included in the price of the cleaning - which is comparable to the competition. Also, they are green and the clothes dont smell like chemicals. How great is that?
I HATE what this company had done! I took 3 suits to be cleaned. They gave me back 1suit had stains on it, that they ironed in. Did not notify me on the choices I had to clean it. Another suit had double creased from ironing. The 3rd was okay, because it was not damaged. Was charged 40 something for the all they had done.WILL NEVER RETURN!!!!VERY UNHAPPY CUSTOMERAPRIL WESTFALL
These guys are the best! Super fast and very professional. They really go the extra mile for their customers.
#1 I think you can disregard Mark Bonnenfants 5 * review as his relative Scott Bonnenfant works for Peerless.#2 When you see FIVE one * reviews out of 16 (now 6 out of 17), thatll tell you something.#3 This company looked me in the eye and said they were not responsible for ruining my beautiful Italian made cashmere & fur coat (purchased at a Carmel, CA boutique). Burnt (?) lines cover the front and back of the coat (not there when I gave it to them). I am sending it to an independent testing lab to confirm the damage and what caused it but other local dry cleaners have confirmed it is ruined and that over stuffing the machine or careless pressing or steaming may have been the cause. The real shock is that Peerless can look at this coat and deny that they did anything. Really incredible. I cannot understand how a company like this stays in business.
I brought jeans in with a stain and they assured me they could get it out and when I picked them up the stain was still there and no note for it to even be removed. Also the WORST starching job I’ve ever seen. They just fold them on a hanger.
So we dropped off 10 shirts, they said we only dropped off 9 when we went to pick the garments up. Get home, there are 8 items. Go back to find the missing two blouses, we were charged for both blouses so we ended up paying for an extra blouse. The staff was rude and unfriendly. If youd like to save yourself a headache go somewhere else.
Only place I can take my suites without them getting ruined. My wife also loves this place.
Fast turn around, reasonable prices, friendly staff
Message to April Westfall: Ms. Westfall, my name is Norm Davis I am the owner of Peerless Cleaners. I just became aware of your posting on Google concerning your suits. I am a little confused as to the dates of your posting vs. when your suits were cleaned. Our records show that your order/suits were dropped at our store back on March 25th and that you picked them up on March 27th and it is now the middle of July that you have become unhappy. Regardless of the timing, if you remain dissatisfied, please let me know and I would be happy to re-clean the suits at no charge. I have already notified our staff and noted this in our computer system in your account profile.Hopefully, we will be able to address your needs at your soonest convenience.Thank You,Norm DavisOwner - Peerless Dry Cleaners
Very knowledgeable top quality!
Ive only used them twice, but both times I had to contact them to see if my items were done (which they were) even though I specifically asked to be contacted when my items were done (on the second time).
