My 3 kids and I have lived here for 3 years now. Its a wonderful place to live. As a single mom, I really appreciate the staff. Whenever I have an issue, all I do is put a request through and they respond almost immediately. The staff has never let me down. They all handled the COVID situation with kindness, patience, and respect. I have been dealing with Francisco most recently, as I needed to update my lease and get some documents uploaded. He has been so patient with me and explained everything I needed to do to complete the task on my end. He is an amazing blend of professional and kind.

I am giving this property a two because it is clean. The amenities are fun if you take advantage of them. The downside is that we were charged fees for everything. We shampooed the carpets and scrubbed the walls prior to leaving and were charged $500 for cleaning fees. This is after paying a $400 dog deposit fee.

This place is ridiculous! They charge you a $69 late fee if you don’t pay on the 1st EXACTLY. There used to be a 3 day grace period, but they got rid of that without warning. I had a family emergency and didn’t remember to pay on the 1st ... so $69 in their pockets! No compromise for good tenants!

Just moved in last month and my boyfriend I love it here. The office staff is always nice and welcoming. It is also quiet day and nigh, which is a huge plus. We love that there is a gate that is closed in the evening for extra safety/protection. I have no complaints about living here. We adore our apartment and love the community.

This place is annoying to deal with. The stuff about the fees is true. They charge for everything and the utilites really dont add up. I paid less for water, gas, trash, and sewer when I lived in a house then now that i live here. I tried talking to the manager about other leasing options and shes wont answer my questions. She asked me to look online for other apartments that are available so i did. I asked her about the ones she had online and her answer was just we have none available. So why ask me to look online if the websites not accurate. She ignores my questions when i ask her anything. Their costumer service skills suck!

We have lived at here for 8 going on 9 years now. The office is always more than willing to work with residents, including myself, when the resident keeps open communication with the office staff. My vehicle was recently tagged by the towing company that other residents have mentioned happened, however upon contacting the office regarding why my registration was expired and a plan on how I was going to get it registered they placed me on a list for the vehicle to not be towed and was very pleasant and easy to work with. We are in a difficult place as a country with the pandemic and a little communication can go a long way. Management is always willing to work with residents at The Village At Iron Blossom.

This place is continuing to tow their own residents cars with little more than 48 hour notice (god forbid your gone for a week, you come back and your car could be gone). They dont call you, they dont send you an email. They just tow your car, and demand $250 FOR A FEW WEEKS OLD REGISTRATION. Thats right, during a pandemic this place decides to CHANGE THEIR ENFORCEMENT and prioritize punishing their residents and towing their own customers cars, in spots they pay for, without calling/emailing/sending a letter to them. People lived here for years, and they send one brief email and then start towing probably well over 100 cars. If you look into other not recommended reviews, or google, they apparently did this to over 70 cars in January. They sent one email in January stating they are getting a new tow company, nothing about increasing policy enforcement for expired registrations. The DMVs earliest appointments are a month and a half out. But NOPE, you have 48 hours or they tow. I used to recommend this place, now I never will.Hey iron blossom answer this, what service are you doing your residents by towing their cars for a slightly old registration? How is this helping anyone in the community whatsoever. What service are you providing to the greater good? Instead, when people are stressed mentally, emotionally, and financially after a terrible year of covid, with incredibly high covid cases in Washoe, they decide to change their enforcement and started towing cars with nothing more than ONE incredibly broad and vague 4 sentence email in December.Your communication was absolutely minimal; likely to tow as many cars as you can to get more $. At this point Im not sure if its incompetence or greed.I also wonder how all the residents feel about the fact that there is a strange man from the tow company, with gate access, snooping around at 2am shining flashlights into everyones cars? Iv seen it happen multiple times. What if I left a laptop out by accident? Or a wallet/cash? Then he calls his friend. Then suddenly my car is broken into... . ALL THIS FOR EXPIRED REGISTRATION. THINK ABOUT WHAT YOUR DOING IRON BLOSSOM AND PROTECT/SERVE YOUR RESIDENTS.Please reach out to me at standingup4ppl@g mail. com if you got your car towed as well. Id love to hear your story. It appears we need to voice our grievances even louder, as I saw another car towed on Easter. ON EASTER. WE LIVE HERE FOR GODS SAKE, LEAVE US ALONE

I applied on the 13th got approved on the 14th and moved in on the 15th our deposit was high but with Jetty it was significantly lower and allowed us to stress a little less and focus on other things for our move. We also got a move-in special for February which was more helpful than they know. We got a two bedroom one bath and assumed it had a laundry room because of what I saw on the floor plan design, but that wasn’t the case just make sure before you move in to make sure that everything is clear and you ask a bunch of questions. When I called I asked what the difference of the apartments were for the floor plan I chose and I was told all the floorplans of a two bed one bath would be the same but when I got there to sign a lease we were told some apartments weren’t modified and some were. Not a problem for us thankfully ours was updated and just as perfect as we imagined. All I’m really trying to say is make sure you ask questions and not only ask questions to confirm those questions on your own by visiting the apartments before applying and writing down important questions before you go. Overall I give these apartments five stars because everyone in the office is so kind and hard-working ready to help you out with your new move and they do their best to answer all questions efficiently with fast responses and also I almost forgot to mention that there was a massive amount of visitors parking spaces and the people we’ve met in our apartment building have been nothing but amazing and nice kind people.

I live here currently in a one bedroom apt. Though I dont have much rental experience, the leasing process was incredibly straightforward. We went in, saw the unit, went back to the office and filled out some forms, and we had keys the next day. The apartments themselves are pretty on par for the price. Though there are some smaller issues that arent impeding, I would still say its a pretty cool place. The maintenance personnel are what really make this place shine. Whether it be a clogged sink or a cabinet falling off the wall, they will respond promptly and fix the problem in a timely manner. All staff are very kind as well.

Extremely expensive if you have to break the lease. Even during this pandemic we had to pay $2660 to break lease, last month rent of $1330 plus final utilities and apartment cleaning of $330. Our neighbors moved out a month or so prior and they were actually given a break on breaking their lease amount, I asked for the same thing and the office told me they dont do that. LOL If you move here, expect to pay about $100/month w/ Conservice for utilities which dont really add up for a 2 bedroom apartment w/ no washer dryer. Other than that, some staff are nice. Francisco always helpful. Maintenance sometimes forgetful unless you remind them. Upon moving we asked for wasps nest in our balcony to be removed, it was never done.

I was very pleased with the service received at Village at Iron Blossom. I rented the apartment online using the reviews and gallery pictures as a guide. Francisco was our contact person and he was a pleasure to work with. The apartment was freshly painted, new flooring and washer and dryer. It met our expectations. The only concern we had was dog poop was in front of apartment on the grass and sidewalk (looked like it had been stepped in) but that is not the fault on apartments but my inconsiderate neighbors. There are plenty of doggie stations close by, some people just feel better living in a dump apparently.

I got back home from vacations for the holidays and my car was GONE, when I called and asked bout it they told me in a very rude way that they had it towed and since they didnt have my car in their possession there was nothing they could do and if I wanted to see my car I should call the towing company. Apparently they decided my car registration was not up to date (it is, but the tag has not arrived because of very long shipping times due to COVID) and had it removed from the parking lot for which I pay on time every single month with NOT A SINGLE PHONE CALL OR EMAIL. Now they want me to pay to get my car back when this shouldve never happened, this is bs.

The village at Iron Blossom is a beautiful pet friendly community with well kept grounds, tons of amenities, friendly staff and comfortable homes. After leaving a house I was unsure whether or not I would be able to find an apartment which would allow me to have my medium/large dog. After many google searches and phone calls, I found The Village at Iron Blossom. The Village at Iron Blossom features two fenced dog parks, one of which is currently being upgraded and looks like it will be amazing once they get the fence up. I love that I can let my dog off-leash in these parks and he can play with other dogs or at least be free to do his business off-leash.My first interaction with the office was via Francisco. Francisco is very professional and pleasant to work with. During my lease signing I also worked with Lori who is professional and knowledgeable. She is very organized, upfront and a fun person to talk to. The office will hold mail and packages for you and send you a text message to notify you that they have received it.I can pay my rent online, which is very convenient for me. They have an app you can download to your phone to make your online rent payment via your checking account and also request maintenance, if needed. The maintenance team is very responsive and thorough. The maintenance person, Jonathan, appears to have the most experience at this property. He completes tasks properly the first time and his customer service skills cannot be beat. His wife works in the veterinary field and they are dog owners so I feel comfortable with him in my home with my pets. When I moved into my apartment it was practically perfect and super clean. I love the location of my apartment within the complex and I love the location of the complex in general. There is a Raleys down McCarran from here, a Save Mart in the other direction and if you drive up Double R Blvd. you can easily access the shopping center on Damonte Ranch Parkway which has all kinds of businesses, restaurants and a Wal Mart.Another feature I appreciate about living here is the great deal of visitor parking available. This makes it so easy for my guests to park and find my apartment. Additionally, this is a gated community which is locked up every evening. This is a great community for families and I see happy kids safely riding their bikes and being monitored by responsible parents. My son and I are very comfortable and feel safe here.I love the 24 hour Jacuzzi. The 3 pools are open in the warm season. The gym is super clean, always smells great and features a tanning bed room.Only cons: Other residents not picking up dog poop despite the fact that there are plenty of bags and pet waste disposal units available.Financial investors demanded to inspect my apartment and wouldnt allow me to set an appointment so I had to take time off work to be here to hold my dog while the investors inspected my unit. Plenty of notice was given but I feel like the investors should have more respect for my time. I feel they should set appointments with people because I work my butt off to pay this rent and do not appreciate having to take time off work to accommodate rich people. But, it is what it is. At least they have investors keeping the place upgraded and beautiful. This is a beautiful lush green property with older large trees, close to everything you may need and in a great part of town. The neighbors are mostly super nice, hard-working people and families and mostly responsible dog owners. Dog people love dog people! My little family and I are grateful to live here and I recommend this beautiful complex to families, single people and dog owners.

These apartments have no grace period whatsoever on the 2nd you’re automatically charged a late fee of 60.00 which is ridiculous bc unfortunately not everyone always gets paid on the 1st of every month. If I would’ve known this I would’ve never moved here.

This isnt a good place to live. The management isnt friendly at all. Only one who helps is Ivy. I have had people come over and visit me and they always say the same thing that it smells bad walking around outside. I only see a few people pick up after there dogs. Also there are beer bottles all around, and people smoking pot on there porch all of the time. Walls are thin, walk past a door and can here what people are watching on TV, or even talking to each other. They are trying to force out people that have lower rent deals from previous leases. Parking is a joke, there are a lot of cars with out plates and just sit around. Its in the lease that all cars must be registered and have plates. They dont fix things correctly, I cant even use my microwave at the same time as coffee maker or it shuts off half of the apartment. I WOULD STAY AWAY FROM HERE. I cannot wait until my lease is up. Also take caution in saying something bad about them they will make up things to push you out.

Leasing staff was not interested in creating an inviting environment with new customers. Stopped in on July 13, 2013 for a tour and information for an October 1 move-in. Leasing agent informed us that no 3 bdrm available currently. This was NOT our purpose in visiting. We were rudely told to call next time before we visited as she showed us to the door with no information gained about the property.

This is the worst renting experience I have ever had. The rent is way too high for the quality of living they provide. When my lease was up the first time, they raised my rent $80 but I didnt get any other benefit to continue living there. Part of the re-signing agreement was new light fixtures for my apartment. I never received them. Before I signed the new lease, I called as a potential new renter to see what they would charge. Low and behold, while they raised my rent to nearly $700, they would charge a new tenant $525 for the same exact apartment.I confronted them about the discrepancy asking if they could just keep my rent the same. They had no logical argument for the difference in rent, but refused to compromise. Because I didnt have time to find a new place, I re-signed with the higher rent. Worst decision of my life.During renovations to the complex (which they will undoubtedly brag about), construction crews began began using power tools far too early in the morning, causing me to lose sleep and consider staying with a friend until the construction was done. But I think the kicker was when I came home from work and found people in my apartment without the 24 hour notice required by law. When I confronted the incompetent office staff about it, they stared at my doe eyed like I was out of my mind for being upset. They werent even about to try and make up for it except the owner happened to be in the office. I was offered a free carpet cleaning, which I never received. Every time I see them show potential new renters around, I want to tell them to run away and never look back.

We absolutely LOVE living here! Don’t let the paint fool you, neither my boyfriend or I have ever lived somewhere where the staff cared more about the residents or the complex and it definitely shows. The location of this complex is great - it is right next to a freeway exit and down the street from numerous shopping centers. We have never had a problem with parking and there are plenty of spaces for guests. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Pam in the main office is always pleasant to talk to and will go out of her way to help you if she can. All of our maintenance requests have been quickly responded to, and the people who come in to fix stuff have always been professional and respectful. We often see the security guard making rounds at night which makes us feel very safe. They have always been very attentive to our needs and have answered any questions we have had. Our apartment itself it exactly what we were looking for. We toured a number of places and after walking through the unit here, we both got to our car, turned to each other, and immediately agreed that this was our number one choice - no discussion needed. I believe they are in the process of upgrading most of the units as they come available. It is clean and nice at an affordable price, whereas other complexes we saw were significantly more or grimy and derelict. Possibly one of our favorite aspects of this complex are the amenities. More than just the fact that there is a gym and a pool, we love that they are always making improvements here. Since we have been here they have bought all new furniture for the pool, all new equipment for the gym, completely updated the barbecue area by the leasing office, replaced all the furniture in the leasing office, repainted and updated the mailbox area, hot tubs, and tanning bed room - and those are just the things I can think of off the top of my head! The lawn is always well maintained and green. We rarely come across dog poop that has been left, and there are plenty of stands with dog bags and trashcans all around which makes it easy to take care of when we take our dog for a walk. Overall, we would absolutely recommend living here!

If I could rate the Village at Iron Blossom more accurately it would have to be ZERO stars. Since living at this Dump I couldnt even count the number of times either myself or my wife have been threatened by other residents(drunks, tweakers).Thieft is also a MAJOR issue within those rickidity gates. There has been numerous vehichles stolen as well as personally belongings such as my bike bbq grills etc. Not to mention that the whole property is littered with dog feces and trash. More importantly the staff is absolutely horrendous. They could care less about you as a individual and strictly see you as another lease agreement under their belt. Many times I had taken my concerns to the management and every time nothing was done about it. In fact quite the opposite the Manager Corrine instead goes out of her way to harass those individuals who dare question her. Last I would just like to mention that on top of all this my puppy had been stolen and when confronting the individuals who took my dog I was phschially assaulted and yet again when brought up to the office they could care less. This is not a place where you would ever want to call home.

I live it here there really sweat and neighbors are nice. but there was a lot of problems with the apartment. the rent is ridiculously high. we are moving to cheaper apartments right down the street that provide more suitable accommodations for a family. theres only two open way to get out of the apartments so if you want to walk to the other end of patriot it will take a very long time to go all the way around the apartments. the office staff is nice one of the girls i absolutely loved to talk to because she always was happy. but there was times the maintenance didnt do a great job and the fire place makes a horrible smell like burning and no one did anything we never even used the fire place.

Office misrepresented their lease agreements in more than one field and is unwilling to even acknowledge the differences. They had a change in management recently and the change resulted in the residents, who they call this place home, suffering for several months. Maintenance takes weeks to resolve anything, if they even get around to it. I had a leaky sink for over 6 months and after repeated attempts to reach them, I ended up giving up. They were always unclear about how to even get a hold of the office except walking in, which can be unrealistic for those who work during the day time hours. There is no communication from the office at all. and if you like sleeping past 7am, then you will be disappointed because thats what time landscaping likes to start right outside your window. They had promised to come and upgrade our appliances, which never happened, so I got a fridge that worked about 50% of the time and a stove that almost never warmed up. again, office did not do anything about it. When summer hit we had a HUGE infestation of earwigs. there is dog poop everywhere there is grass. if you live near a grassy patch, expect to smell nothing but fecal matter. office refuses to do anything if your car is broken into. pool wasnt open till almost july.. just feels like they care more about their wallets and bottom line then the quality of life for their people. If you plan on moving out, take care. They will squeeze every penny they can out of you before you leave.

I love all the ladies in the office. They are all super friendly and helpful! I’ve lived in the complex for two years now.The parking is a little crazy so if you have more then one vehicle be ready for some walking every once and while depending on where you are located at in the complex! The four pools are great if one is crowded then you have three others to choose from! There is a small dog park to bring the puppers to on my side of the complex, I haven’t really ventured too much on the other side to be honest. I do enjoy the gym and yoga type studio they have added! I know they also have a tanning bed, I don’t tan but it’s nice knowing that if I ever decide I would like to that I have that option available. On the topic of dogs, they allow dogs heavier then most complexes do which is amazing. Some of the tenants aren’t the greatest at picking up the poo but they’ve gotten a lot better at it due to the office giving notices out. I was nervous because I had gotten one but it was due to an old roommate of mine taking my dog out on the property and not picking up the feces which i was unaware of until I got the notice so I was thankful that they had brought that to my attention! And they were sweet about the situation. Plus knowing that the place allows animals I know that unfortunately not everyone is great at picking up after their animals. That being said just know they do their best to stay on top of everyone on the matter! Which I really appreciate! The first year that I was in the complex there was a bug problem that happened due to a tenant abandoning there lease and it took them a bit to get in there to clean it up because they do have to go through all of the legal procedures. They needed to spray our building and worked with me and my schedule since I had to get my dog to my mothers so he wouldn’t bother the inspectors and what not.Needless to say if you are respectful and honest they treat you the same in return.I recently had my fridge stop working and they had some one come quickly to fix it!I’ve seen a few other reviews that are pretty negative. If any issues ever arise they work quickly to fix the problem! And most of the problems that have arose while I’ve been living here are just things that happen almost any where you live. I am just very thankful that everyone working on the property is always on top of their game. They really make me feel like my needs are important and they go above and beyond to meet them. (Which I’m not super needy lol but they have worked with me through quite a lot these past two years.)I actually kind of like the color of the outside but it did throw me off a little the first time I went to look at the apartments. BUT the inside is lovely.I’m planning on staying another year before venturing off out of town. I thought of renting a small house after this lease but for the price of renting a house it seemed better off staying here with all the amenities included. Annnd well why change a good thing if I’ll just be around the area for another year I might as well stick to the place I love 💕Soooo, thank you everyone for doing everything that you guys do! I appreciate it all very much!

I went 4 days with out locks on my door after someone broke in, Maintenance is horrid at fixing things I almost had to take them to court get things fixed. After sending them legal papers they finally decided to work on all the issues in my apartment. Also I used a check with my fiances name on it dropped it off at the office and got a receipt to pay rent, they wanted to charge me 100 dollars for a late fee saying that because my name wasnt on the check they could of gotten confused. Again I had to take legal action.WORST PLACE TO LIVE and this is just maintenance and office issues. The place is smells like a dairy and you have kids running all over the patios and stair ways, the people arent very nice and its always loud with the airplanes that fly directly over the apartment complex

I have lived here with my husband since 2013. In 4 years and a change in management, I can say confidently that we enjoy living here.It is a quiet complex, and we have felt safe 99% of the time (the 1% being two instances of domestic dispute that were not the complexs fault and were handled properly by management as far as I can tell). They are installing a physical gate security system, which is refreshing as the arm before was a joke of community security. The parking is maybe a little sparse, but my husband finds a spot every day thats not too far from our apartment. Otherwise, the complex is maintained well physically. The parking lots were just repaved and painted, and the roofs on several buildings were just redone. The outer color of the apartments is not fantastic IMO. I will say, weve wanted to move to a two-bedroom, but the cost difference between a 1B1B and a 2B1B/2B2B is far too much for us.As for the apartment itself, we have grown accustomed to our cozy 720 sq ft. Sure it is small, but there is AMPLE storage (aside from in the kitchen) and the bedroom feels very large. The kitchen is tiny, but no smaller than any comparably priced apt with equal space. We have old-ish appliances and Foremica countertops, but the fridge keeps things cold, the oven cooks evenly, the dishwasher cleans dishes...what more can I ask for? The central heating and cooling is good and the water pressure is adequate. We have had zero plumbing problems in 4 years. The walls are sort of thin, but generally everyone keeps to themselves and we have not had any noise complaints from us or toward us.The management teams have always been very accommodating. The maintenance team is also very responsive, and have fixed most problems within 2 days. Only once in four years have I ever been even mildly dissatisfied with their services, and I never reported it.The residents are very nice that we have met (a majority who live here are young families), and the complex is very pet friendly. The pools and gym are good. Clean and well maintained. In general, it has been very pleasant to live here! I would recommend it to anyone starting out. Its been a great place to make our lives so far.

Just visited the apartment today for a quick tour, the girl was pretty nice I think her name was Ivy. After reading all the reviews Im little concerned to make the decision whether to move in or not. The rent was average I think 2bd and 2bth was going for about $860 including in unit washer/dryer, and 1000sqft which is not bad. What I did not like:Tenant pay for water/sewer/trash which could be around $100, +you have to have a renters insurance so add another $20-$35.add NV Energy and wifi and you my friend is now paying around $1100/month just in the name of nice area and average looking apartments.Im still making my decision, any feedback and suggestions are welcome.

The worst experience I have ever had living in apartments. Extremely disappointed and regret signing a lease here. I have bug and rodent problems, the property is not maintained (dog crap everywhere), they never refill the pet waste bags, the dumpsters are over flowing with garbage almost everyday, their movers leave furniture and mattresses laying around the property that sit there for weeks until someone picks it up, the office has told me numerous times that it is not their job or maintenances responsibility to monitor the dumpsters, there is never anywhere to park, the customer service in the office is awful, I never get a call back when I leave a message about a problem Im having, and the upgraded apartments are nothing more than a fresh paint job and laminate floors. Not worth the money or misery!

My family and I moved to Reno in August, into a 2 bed 2 bath apartment at this community. We found them before relocating and were looking forward to the amenities that were provided since our 2 year old daughter would be close to a pool and playground while we settled into the area. Security was a big concern for us, coming from a small community. The leasing office boasted about their gates, security and and management. We had high hopes. Since moving in, the front gates have almost always been broken and I have rarely seen them closed at nightSecurity is a car that drives around a few times before dusk and the maintenance has beem less than satisfactory. We had to schedule our appointment to have the electricity fixed 5 times before they showed up at the actual time. After they figured out the issue, the outlets were left with the faces crooked and paint chipped. When they had repair associates from the power company do upgrades, there was a loose screw touching wired inside the wall and he was like d enough to replace the broken outlet cover the maintenance left. The back gate on the 695 side has been broken for months as well as gym equipment. Nothing was fixed until I complained on FB and then the gym remodel happened (vending machines and a few new machines/weights added)and a chain was added to the back gate so now the access to buses and the park is cut off. We recieved an eviction notice on our door, AFTER rent was paid on time, and was treated rudely when we disputed it. Nobody took responsibility and there was nothing but make it clear which apartment the check is for comments. How about you dont cash a check without knowing who/what is is from/for?! My daughters flower pot was taken from our front porch, and our utilities were switched from flat rate to 3rd party utility after the property management switched. There has constantly been dog poop in the grass and it always smells like marijuana near our building. Im dreading being here until August but the lease buy out of am extra month isnt something I want to do. Im spending $1000+ every month for an apartment with amenities that are not kept up. The leasing office is rude, except for Ivy and a few times Ive shown up during business hours to find a be back in an hour sign. Theyre terrible at customer service. They do the absolute minimum and move on. There is constantly someone else in our assigned parking as well so we are always calling to tow. A sign about covered spots being for tenants only would help. I end up walking across the street to park at night with my toddler because the lot is too full. If I could go back, wed have rented ANYWHERE else. We recieved an email about $50 off after we complained publicly. It was a nice gesture and I hope that management follows through with turning things around. However the leasing office girls are still rude (unless speaking with IVY who is awesome). I made an appointment for the chimney cleaning and did not give consent to enter without me being there. They failed to relay that and I had to stop the man from coming in while I was getting into the shower with my daughter. Talk about scary. I called then too. I also recently used the pay online option while out of town saying goodbye to a dying relative. Something happened with the accounting and routing being switched (I was not in the best mindset obviously). I recieved a confirmation that it went through so I assumed all was well. The day I returned we had a notice about returned pay and an extra $175 fee. I was able to correct it immediately and because it was after hours have not heard back yet. I paid the $50 nonsufficient funds fee because it WAS my fault but am hoping management will take the scenario in mind and our on time track records while dealing with their mistakes and false eviction. We have family members relocating and were hoping to be in the commiunity but I will sooner pay to cancel our lease than allow people we love to live here without seeing that management cares and is working towards better standards as they claim.
