They are so polite and helpful. gave ideas and were not just looking to take advantage of my minimal computer knowledge.thanks for fixing my mac and telling me to buy a new one for my other
If you have a broken Apple machine... stop looking further. You have reached your destination because they are the best for any Apple repair. Theyre extremely reasonable in price considering their outstanding service, support & the products end result. Im very satisfied.
Super nice at first but then gave me an attitude over the phone when they couldnt fix my computer.
Amazing service... took all about 30 mins to deop off apple 8 with black screen to get it back up and running.. it was not pressing buttons to reset.. but they got er done asap.. and the rates were incredible..
These guys were absolutely great and very helpful. As someone that doesnt speak technology, they made sure to be patient with me and answer every question I had. 10/10 Would Recommend!!
I brought my MacBook in to get my battery replaced. Diagnosed by me not the MacGuyz. They tried to replace it and they broke my laptop to the point it won’t boot up even when plugged into power. They went ahead and put my old battery in and the laptop is still unusable. They tried to charge me $45 to break my laptop...trying to say they “diagnosed” it. These “guyz” are nothing but dishonest frauds. The dishonesty involved in charging someone to break their laptop is disgusting...do yourself a favor and do not give them your business. I would give them negative stars if I could.
Able to fix my iPad quickly and for a good price.
Great service, friendly staff. They diagnosed my 7 year old Mac and had it running faster than ever before. Highly recommend.
Took my iPhone X into the shop today. Expecting to wait 2 hours. They were done in less than 30 minutes. Super happy with their service. Been going to this place for years and will continue to keep coming back.
I was so impressed with the customer service and level of knowledge at this place! I highly recommend them and give them a five star rating for sure
As a small business owner - time is money. As a my most important tools are my cameras and computers.Ive brought two of my 21 iMacs in to improve my performance. First one 6 months ago needed RAM, the one I picked up today needed a new hard drive.Which is major surgery, so I needed an expert. The MacGuyz are professional, talented, and very efficient. Each time my computer was in the shop, it was for less than a day.Highly recommended!
Had to have my granddaughters iPhone home button repaired as it was not working anymore and these Guyz fixed it within a few hours. They looked really busy but there were I believe four techs. I had to wait a little bit outside as they were only allowing 1 person at a time. I believe their pricing is very reasonable for the quality of their work. They were very professional and helpful. I am “deaf” and need to read lips so they did an AWESOME job accommodating my issue.Thank You MACGUYZ !!
I would give this place 0 stars if I could. I came in with a phone that had got some water damage that caused my screen to go dark, but everything else worked, including my home button. When I went to pick it up, the price was not what they told me and my home button no longer worked. They tried telling me it was the water that caused it, but I have screenshots in my phone from trying to power down my phone so I KNOW it worked. You can only screenshot (atleast from my current knowledge) using the home button and side button. I have to learn to screenshot without my home button now. THANKS FOR NOTHING. Price and service NOT WORTH IT! Go to RASelectronics and save yourself the headache. Posted this exact review on Yelp. Really mad about my home button, so I just want to add my review on Google to save someone else from going through this.
They know what they’re doing and get it done!! So impressed with the quality of service and outcome!! Highly recommend!!
I took in older computer , told hard drive and key board no good, replaced both , after they replaced hard drive , now the key board does not stay connected, have to keep turning on and off, they told me bring it in , I am not going to spend another $300-400 dollars on this old computer, Not worth the first fix and still have problems with the computer! Would not waste my time bringing it back and back and back and spend more and more $$$
I dropped my iPhone and could not turn it back on. This group was very friendly and helpful and had me walking out the door with a working iPhone in 10 minutes! I always like to patronize my local businesses and in this case no line, no appointment needed!
Very helpful and friendly place
They got the job done in a timely fashion! Prices were better than the long wait at the Apple store.
They only know how to fix phones. Dont ask them any complicated questions, they wont know the answers. Good luck.
I went here twice and I impressed with their technicians who did a great job on my computer repair. MacGuyz were the best .They can help you guys on how to repair your laptop and phone as well.
Hello everyone. I wasnt going to leave a review but since my computer needs a fix on the logic board due to the thunderbolt ports not working (cost to fix $616) Im going to leave my reason why I do not recommend you go to this place. I wanted an upgrade on my iMac which was to install SSD drives. I also wanted them to back up my memory from my old drives to my upgraded drives. I drop off my imac and when it was ready they were not able to back up my memory only because they had took out my drives before thinking of backing it up. They broke the fusion so I wasnt able to back up my memory. Thats 1 mistake they made. But I should have backed the memory up myself so I took the loss with a grain of salt and kept my composer. Second mistake was when I found out that my thunderbolt ports had stopped working. I use an external monitor for music production and before i had took my iMac to this place everything was working perfectly fine. I took my iMac back for them to figure out what is going wrong with my ports. They were clueless and we tried trouble shooting but no luck. I took that with a grain of salt as well and said okay oh well Ill figure it out. I take my iMac home that day and as im working on my projects my Screen falls off luckily my reflex caught the screen before completely falling off and braking on my desk. The screen went blank so thats when I became really mad! I went back the following day to this macguys store and demanded they put my screen back together right their and then. The head of the place who works on the computers did not want to work on my iMac so I then demanded a refund. Underneath the staffs breath I heard him say stop bitchin. These people did a very bad service and all I wanted was an upgrade on my iMac. In these times you want to go out of your way to support small business and this is what I got in return. I take my refund and head home for the 3rd time. I decided to fix my screen myself and come to find these guys left an adhesive strip out which caused my screen to depart from the computer. Once i put it back together I take my computer elsewhere and come to find the ports completely do not detect anything I attach to them and to fix this issue its going to cost $616. I would like some advice from someone. This is terrible I shouldnt have to let these guys get away with something like this. Here is my review. Be careful where you take your precious equipment everybody.
Got my screen replaced and it didnt work. Took it back and turns out that a cable was torn. They replaced it again and the screen is still glitching. I will be going back to ask for a refund so that Apple can replace my screen, which is what I shouldve done in the first place. Their prices are the same as Apple anyway. I would love to support local business, but in this case I cannot do that.
I have been a native to Redlands for 34 years! Jake and Roman were both great! The service was same day, fast, quick as was fairly priced! It is nice to have a local iphone repair shop! 📱
Just got off they phone with them! They’re honest straightforward and are extremely helpful!
Excellent service. Quick and professional. Brought 2 iMacs in; 21” and 24”; neither one was starting. Fixed both for far less than expected; 24”, and old 2006 model, running faster than ever; 21” works perfectly. Highly recommended.
Super friendly, super fast. I had a dying Mac mini and hey maxed the memory and added a solid state hard drive and made it SUPER fast. better than buying a new computer. Will use these guys again.
Quick and efficient. Replaced battery in MacBook Air in 10 minutes. I provided the battery- they did not want to charge me, so I tipped them $10. While I waited, at least three other customers were served real time. Highly recommend.
Did not speak with manger or supervisor but the person I did speak to... his response to my questions touched his ego in a way that he suggested I go somewhere else.I obliged him. I want someone working on my computer that understands its importance not his ego. The place may be legit but not today...
The Mac Guyz really helped! They cleaned up my computer and got rid of Malware. Thanks yall.
The MacGuyz are the best! They have fixed my MacBook twice now and absolutely saved the day both times. Their pricing is reasonable and their customer service cant be beat! I will use them in the future again!
Straight forward place. No BS
Took my Mac book pro in becuase it would not charge but other then that it worked perfectly. It needed a new charging port which they did replace but while replacing it, now my display doesn’t work according to these”experts” do to water damage..:..: told them nope. It worked just fine when I dropped it off to you to fix and now my display is broken..... went to pick it up and again explained that computer was fine when I left it with them.....blank look from one of the “techs”. Funny how they did replace the charging port yet didn’t charger me a dime for the work. Moral of this review don’t take ANYTHING to this business unless you want or like broke stuff.
To expensive
Was having problem with my MacBook turning off randomly and not booting properly. The tech was able to diagnose and fix the problem in no time and also give some tips/ suggestions to improving my Mac...
Friendly staff & convenient for locals! Didnt have to drive to the Apple store. They fixed my Mac Book Pro in a reasonable amount of time.
Good guys. More than fair prices.
Awesome service, professional advice, no gimmicks - everything an electronics repair store should be, but rarely is. A true gem!
I went to MacGuys to get some advice on how to connect my 20 inch iMac desktop to my old Blue and White G3 Mac Tower.
They are the best! Thank you for taking great care of my phone!
The guys at MacGuyz are awesome! They helped me with my MacBook Pro after an attempt to upgrade the OS with an overworked hard drive. My laptop was near death with all my work files (which I failed to back up) stuck in it. They retrieved all my files and installed a new hard drive (SSD). My 5+year old laptop is working as well as I remember when I first got it. Quality work. Highly recommend. Support small local business.
Awesome service, awesome pricing, highly recommend! Definitely will use again!!!
Went in today because my iPhone wasnt charging. One of the workers checked my phone for free and figured out the problem right away. It was a simple problem that they didnt charged me for it!
Took my imac to get fixed last month. They gave me a really good price on it and was able to get it up and running within a day.
They did a good jop on fixing my I phone 6 speakers and great customer service I can now make calls thanks guy for doing all that you could on my phone to repair it 😀😀😀😀😉
Be cautious!!!! I took two iPhone 5, one with a cracked screen and the other with the back camera and ear piece broken, so they could swap screens. This was so I could have one good phone and another as an iPod since I got a new phone. When I picked them up, we realized that we couldnt hear with the one now with the good screen. The ear speaker was bad, so I had to take it back for them to instal a new ear speaker. The person said we will put one of our ear speakers I paid for it and it is working perfect. The problem I have, is that once I tried to use the other phone, so I can listen to music. I plugged it to charge, but it never came to life. Its making a weird noise. As I start looking at it with more detail, it was clear to me that they installed a different screen as the crack wasnt the same. So I took it back for them to see what could have happened. They were not very nice about it and made me feel like I was lying. They were telling me that how could they now fix a dead phone, which it wasnt when I took it. Telling me that they are always very organized. By the way, they couldnt find a screw when they were fixing the ear speaker on the other phone. The more I think about it, it makes me think about what they did to that second phone as they assumed I did not care for it. Anyway, I would recommend to stay there and watch what they do when getting you equipment worked on.
When Apple refused to replace the battery in our Macbook Pro A1425, because of dead insect parts inside, we were forced to find a third party Apple computer repair store. I called MacGuyz and asked if the insect parts would bother them. They said no and would call back the next day with a quote for the replacement battery. When they called the next day they gave a quote of $249 which is $49 more than Apple charges; which is already high at $200, but expected. It takes less than an hour for a skilled technician to change the battery. When I told the person on the phone that Apple only charges $200 his reply was, Yeah, we make our own prices. I considered this a very sarcastic and disrespectful answer. There is no doubt in my mind when I spilled the beans, that Apple would not repair it, they saw an opportunity to gouge us and charge more than Apple because they figured they had us over a barrel.
The honest, and quick, friendly and professional. I highly recommend.
I have a MacBook Air and someone spilled soda on it I called this place because they had such great reviews and they told me it would be $90 to service my mac (Take apart clean and dry) sure no problem. I leave my mac and am called back a bit later and I was told everything checks out great keyboard mouse pad screen speakers only thing that needs to be replaced is the battery to which they said would only be an extra $60. Sure, No problem. Upon pick up they turn on the mac show me that it comes on and charges I pay and take it home excited that they have assured me my laptop is in great working condition ready to get back to work. As soon as I get home I turn on my mac and try to play some music and nothing. I take my laptop back and they say well give it a look. Sure no problem. I get called back and then am told that the audio part of the board is no good and would be around 400 to 500 dollars to fix and it would be cheaper to buy another external source of audio. Ok fine no refund offered or apologies for misleading me earlier. I take my computer and go out and buy a $100 Bluetooth speaker. Yesterday while charging my laptop a notice pops up on screen saying service battery and even while my charger is plugged in it is not charging at all. I take my laptop back this morning they say well have the tech who worked on it take a look. Sure no problem about 4 hours pass I am called to pick up the tech (Robb Gammill) says I cant get any batteries to charge the board must be fried (careless and rude tone I might add) theres nothing I can do Ill refund you for the battery. I feel I should have been refunded the whole amount they gave me the run around for a week and then just finally gave up and ended up taking me for $90 after the refund of the batter so basically I was charged $90 to be jerked around for a week horrible service I would never recommend anyone come to this establishment.
Great work and customer service! I took my iMac here to get an SSD drive installed. It was running extremely slow and I couldnt get any work done. I called MacGuyz up, they told be to bring it as soon as I could. I took it in immediately and within 24 hours it was done. Not only is my computer super fast now, I was able to get back to work in no time. They also cloned my entire drive for me so I didnt have to reinstall anything. They even optimized some of my applications that were slowing down the performance of my iMac. I also had them install another 8GB of memory, which is making my life a lot easier. Feels great to actually work and get things done again. Not only do I recommend replacing your hard drive with an SSD drive, I recommend using the MacGuyz to do it. Thank you very much for the quick work and making the process worry and hassle free. I will be taking on my mac stuff here in the future. Thanks, Chris
Excellent service. Very polite.
Took my iPhone 6s to this shop early in the morning for an attempted screen repair. First tech I spoke to was polite but informed me that this shop does not use OEM/OEM-compliant replacement screens, which essentially means your screen is coming from a third-party manufacturer not associated with Apple. I really wanted a fixed screen (phone was broken for two days prior) so I decided to take a risk - and learned the hard way.Came back during lunch to pick it up and one of the owners was there to show me the phone. Screen looked great, brand new, but Force Touch didnt work on the screen (woo hoo, non-OEM parts that you pay a $169 premium for). Thats a no-go but no big deal. I requested that it be looked into again, and they were willing to do so.Came back again at 5:30 PM to pick the phone up. A different tech provided me with my phone, but they had placed the broken screen back on and said that None of the screens they had for the 6s had Force Touch working. They were returning the phone to me because they couldnt fix it with their parts, and he was sorry for wasting my time. LOL okay, time wasted today but yknow it was only an hour, so again no big deal. This was my experience a few days ago, but not the reason I am writing this review today. I am writing this review because Ive realized that after a few days of still owning my phone with a broken screen, I cannot receive or make calls on it like I used to be able to with Siri. My phone is now completely inoperable, but the screen lights up and still holds a charge. Im not sure what is wrong with my phone now, but I cannot connect to it from any device, nor receive inbound or place outbound calls with Siri. These were things I was able to do before taking my phone to MacGuyz, along with the screen being much more fragmented than it was before.. I cant make anything out on it now. Hell, I used to be able to tap icons on the screen and guess where context menus were. The screen is completely unresponsive now.So who knows what happened to my phone during their possession and why I cannot use it now; I guess Ill need to wait for my replacement screen to come in when I fix it myself ($87 for an OEM AUTHENTIC screen online). However, what I do know is that my experience with MacGuyz was pretty poor. Actually, I take that back - it was damn awful. Their replacement parts are of low quality yet overpriced, they wasted an hour of my day, and now I have a potentially dead-in-the-water iPhone. The combination of these three problems is why I eventually convinced myself to write this review. If you own an iPhone 6s or 7 with Force Touch, do NOT take your phone here. They may try to give you the same screen they gave me. Another local phone repair store, D&R, advertise actual OEM replacement parts on their website. Shouldve gone there first, cause this place sucks.
Couldn’t help me because my device required more work. They gave information on what to do and take it.
Great service
Friendly and honest.
