I worked with Polyak Services to inspect the chimney and fireplace of a home Im buying. They were extremely professional and timely. I was in a bit of a rush to get the information to my realtor and Mike Polyak took the time to personally get me the report and quote for repairs within my deadline. I highly recommend Polyak Services.

Our 37 year old furnace needed to be replaced. The furnace company advised a chimney inspection would be needed, and a new flue breech be drilled. Our furnace company did partner with a chimney service, but we did some research to see what are options are. We went Polyack due to being local in Berks County, and having a great review. I am very glad we did!Polyack did an inspection and determined there were some issues. WE had flaking of the flue as well as needed some crown work. Polyack recommended a liner as well as taking care of the crown and cap work. The estimate Polyack gave for all the work was only slighty higher for JUST the liner from the recommended company. We gave the go ahead to Polyack for the work.Unfortunately, there initially was some issues with getting information from our furnace company to provide Polyack with the information they needed for the new flue breech. However, Polyack was very patient with us in this delay, and was very helpful at making sure the information they needed was correct. I am very thankful for their patients during this part of the process.The day of of the install went very well. All work was done very professionally and cleanly. The techs were very patient with our rambunctious dog, and even gave her the pets and love she wanted so badly from her new friends.The thing that surprised me the most was getting a call from Mike Polyack to see if were satisfied with the work, and if we had any questions. He also asked for an email address to include pictures of what had been done. I have attached the pictures of the work completed to show what an excellent job Polyack did. The heatshield was a very nice extra precaution against any other issues.I would highly recommend Polyack Services for anyone needing chimney work done.

The webpage says that they do masonry work on chimneys. I called and they do not do masonry work on chimneys. Why say on your webpage that you do something that you do not? It was just a waste of my time ...

I havent used them specifically because they dont service my area... but they gave me great advice on what I am looking for and made suggestions for other services!
