Thank you to the personnel at Docs!!After only a few miles into our road trip our vehicle overheated. Called and went to other repair shops and no one could fit us in. Docs got us in immediately and back on the road in a short period of time. Explained the issues well, reasonable and hospitable! Even got kisses from the beautiful garage pup, and I needed them!!Thanks so very much!!

A few weeks ago, I went here to have them fix the mass air flow sensor as squirrels had gotten to it. They gave me advice on what to do to repel squirrels and haven’t had a problem the squirrels since. I had called several places but pricing combined with current reviews led me to choose Doc’s to have the work done. They were quick to order and part and make repair.Fast forward 3 or 4 weeks later, my oil pressure switch failed, so I had my car towed to Doc’s. Since I was close to due for an oil change, I went ahead and told Doc’s to do that as well. Now my car is up and running just fine.Glad to have found a reliable mechanic. Will go back next time I need a shop to do something.

From roadside assistance towing, theyd took my 03 Impala and made it as new. My two front tires were low and become flattened (even w/ spare). Theyve went above and beyond my expectations, plus Im a new customer AND heard/even read these great reviews too! Not to forget, giving me quotes on the estimate pricing of repairs, and once time to pay the bill, confirmed. Theyre honest, and have a great reputation in what they do BEST, I love their integrity. This review in not based on service performed at docs it is based on my experience with kathy belcher. On feb 22 2016 kathy called to order a front axle assembly for a 1994 grand cherokee listed as grade A condition on our website, I expressed to Kathy it is grade A based on the year and mileage of the vehicle it came off of it did not mean that it is a brand new 22 year old part. I made her aware the the left side axle boot need to be replaced and that we had pulled to cover and the gears looked good. Kathy placed the order to be shipped by freight truck from michigan to illinois, I let kathy know that my 30 day parts warranty does not cover shipping there or back which is also stated on her reciept, we do not make one dollar on shipping it in fact costs us a little extra to pallet the part and arrange freight. On march 8 2016 kathy calls me and tells me that after installation the customer and discovered that the right side axle seal was leaking, I asked kathy what her shop was looking for ( did they want some shop time back to replace seal). Kathy expressed she would only be happy with a full refund of the part and the shipping I told her that if she wanted a full refund on the part that she would need to ship it back and I would issue a credit for the part no shipping just like I had told her before she ordered it. Kathy then began to describe how bad our part was and accused me of lying to her, Keep in mind that my even with all the negative things she said about my part they still installed it. The seal that may be leaking was not seen by us when we pulled it or by them when they installed it. If we were trying to pull one over on them why would we have made them aware of the ripped left side axle boot. I would of had no problem helping some with shop time to replace the axle seal to help them as well as there customer out, At the same time some responsibility lies on them to inspect and possibly replace seals that were not meant to last a lifetime that is why they are replaceable. We did not lie or misrepresent our part and I am not accusing them of lying to me. It would have been nice to deal with this so everyone can win in some way. To instantly hop on social media and bash any company before taking all of the proper and adult steps is hard for me to understand, I would still be willing to help with some of the shop time and solve this problem fairly for everyone involved. Our company is Dorr auto salvage based in Dorr MI, I stand behind our policy and actions. Once again this review has nothing to do with the work they do there as I cannot speak to that, only my experience with kathy.
