Ive had two vehicles done at David Louds. Both times I have been happy with the results. The sound is great! Its a night and day difference between stock vs upgrading your speakers and adding a sub. I have visited a few other stores before I came here and the difference was the other stores were hard sell and I hate that. These guys were not hard sell and showed me lots of options. I would/ will come here for my car audio needs.

The worst experience, everything I try to buy is so over priced. If you want to pay 150 percent markup, go to daves. It seems like all they care about is taking your money. I went there to buy some speakers I get a quote for $150 for some 200 watt sundown 6.5. Then I showed him a 600 watt 6.5 speaker I bought for $73 on amazon. Then the guy says oh its $100. I just dont like someone trying to get over on me and thats is exactly what he did. I wasnt going to write anything, but I went again and they try to sell me some little noise filter for $40. I just walked out. Its not the money its someone trying to take advantage of me.

David loud audio sold me a cheap Kenwood DDX5707S for $550!!! The stereo retail for under $400 everywhere you check! It’s $369 on Amazon right now as I type this review. $50 Sirius radio turner will cost you $150 at this place. I was a first time customer and this will be my last time going there. I had to wait 4 hours to have this stereo installed due to the technician not installing it properly the first few things.Make sure you check the prices before coming to this shop!* Response for owner -My car never had a radio installed before! Please make sure you are talking about the right vehicles before commenting. You are ripping people off with the radios. No way you should be selling a $369 radio for $550! You can’t justify that at all.

I was looking to upgrade my sound system on my Red Prawler and Sway over at David Audio walked me thru the steps and helped me pic the right set for my Show Cars, 1 hour after I dropped the car off he is sending me update pics of process. I dont normally write bad reviews of a business but this one cant be ignored. My dealer had contracted David Loud to install a backup camera for my truck. First, the camera was installed right next to the license plate which made it practically useless as the bumper covered half the screen (no quality control). Then, after I had to purchase the part needed to move the camera higher, my truck started having electrical issues. After multiple trips to the dealer, the problem turned out to be terrible wiring I would not expect from a professional shop (the pictures show this). Luckily I was able to get a refund. I would warn anyone against using this shop.

Just noticed that they moved to a new location. They put a system(dual 12s) in my old honda a few years back., They do good work. Will be going back soon. Highly recommend

I recently had to bring my vehicle down to have all four tires replaced and the staff there were kind and helpful. The owner himself, David, ended up greeting me as I walked in and before making it to the counter. The staff there seemed hard at work and efficient in their duties as I sat on a very, very comfy couch as the work was being on my car. Took about an hour and I was very pleased with the courteously and service of this business.Even though there were places closer to my location, this was recommended to me and worth the drive for their service and professionalism.

I waited a few weeks before writing a review so I could get a feel for the work they did on my speakers. This is the first time I’ve ever gotten subs for any of my cars and I rarely write reviews. David Loud does it right and they work relatively quick. The price is pretty fair considering it covered the cost of the box, amp, 2 10” speakers, wiring and installation as well as the warranty (I’ve heard that most places charge extra $ if you want to include a warranty). The term “you get what you pay for” is important here, because every dollar was well spent. I’ve pushed the speakers to their max several times and the sound quality is top notch. Big thanks to these guys and girls for giving me a pleasant first experience with subwoofers.

After the telephone call i had I’ll be taking my business elsewhere.6/7/21 Boy I’m glad i gave these guys a second chance!!! Not only is the work done perfectly without rushing through it but they took the time to help me figure out the specific dimensions my subwoofers needed and made a custom box. I haven’t finish tuning the EQs but it already sounds great. Thank you.

These guys are legit! Came in for an amp install to my stock unit in my Camry. They by far beat others in experience and quality of service. Also, beat the prices of any guys around the Raleigh area. Maurice was a great the install was clean and changed my whole experience. Alex and Josue were very upfront and communicated well during the whole install. These guys are clutch. I would highly recommend these guys.

I brought in my 2018 Toyota in for an installation of new front and rear door component speakers. I also had subs installed as well. Everything sounds great, these guys do an amazing job and their pricing is fair. Not to mention two years ago they installed subs in another car I owned which still sounds amazing as well.

Expensive. A set of wheels for 750$ theyre charging 1050$ a 65$ mount & balance theyre charging 150$. Nope!

Customer service means nothing unless an issue arises. However, when something does go wrong, you get the chance to see the quality of service a company provides. Without going into detail, a problem did arise, and I was thrilled by the way it was handled by Alex, who immediately took ownership of the issue and said that they would do what it took to take care of it. They did, in fact, resolve the problem, but even if they were unable to do so, it meant a lot that they were determined to take care of their customer.. I would gladly Alex and his team 10 stars if I could!

I had David with David Loud audio install my stereo system on my bike yesterday and I have to say, he did a damn good job. I was thoroughly impressed with his expertise and attention to detail. I would definitely recommend over anyone to have David do your installation. He takes his time and does it right the first time. Thanks for all the hard work and youve definitely got my business.

Had some work done at another location to get HID low beam lights. Shortly after my lights flickered on passenger side took it back change the bulb then had the same problem a few months later. Long story short my truck was making buzzing noise so I took to the Dodge Dealership and they said $925 because of a bad ballast. And they had to replace the head light assembly. Took it back to the shop and owner and said it was the bulb Not the ballast. After waiting for him to order new bulbs multiple tris back and forth his excuse was he order the wrong bulbs !!! This was over a time period of 3 weeks. After going back the last time. He ordered the wrong bulbs and then gave bulbs to the tech and had me thinking my headlights would be fixed. He left me in the shop waiting room and went home!!! He guaranteed me that the problem would be fixed that Monday!! Another trip wasted. So I thought about David Louds from friends son who had some work done that David Loud had to rework and assemble his speakers correctly. So I drove from Winston Salem to Raleigh to have him take a look at the work I had done. Shortly afterward the tech came back out and told me the wrong ballast was used and that my headlights were LED and not HID headlights!!! No digital ballast installed with HID bulbs. None of the stuff I actually paid for!!! 😡 But David Loud found out the problem and installed the correct equipment I asked for and I couldn’t be happier!!! Thank you David Loud!!!

Good place to go for car stereo needs. I stopped by needing to find out about aftermarket and factory information on regard to my stereo. David was very knowledgeable, and hooked me up with aux cord and showed me how to work radio that had all the extras. Good place cant wait to have them work on my aftermarket stereo for my car.

I took my car in because my stereo wasnt working, and most of my equipment was aftermarket. I got a call a few hours later from a rep who quoted me $550 to replace the head unit, and redo some faulty wiring, which theyd have ready same-day. I didnt hear from them, and called around 5:30 to make sure it was still on schedule. I was then told they found more wrong with it, and itd be an additional $350 to replace an amp as well, but they had all the parts ready to be installed, and itd be done in about 30 minutes.I head over around 6:30 to pickup and Im told it wasnt ready. They showed me my car - it wasnt even close to finished - and told me they found even more wrong and needed an extra $100. I ended up paying a hair under $1100 after it was all said and done, and felt very taken advantage of. Had they told me upfront it was going to be that expensive, I certainly wouldnt have had it done. I understand sometimes things dont go as planned, but there was serious negligence on their part.Im glad my speakers are still working well, because I wont be back.

I visited the shop multiple times to discuss various wheel options for my Audi. Alex was very knowledgeable and willing to spend the time explaining the wheel options that would best compliment my car. I ordered HRE wheels & he had them in just under a week, very fast! The wheel tech guys were also great to work with as well! In closing, an overall great experience.

Walked in at 5 out the door at 630, they installed a touch screen car stereo and reconnected my subs with excellent wiring. I am completely satisfied with the price I paid and their service. David and his crew did an awesome job and I highly recommend them to anyone in the Raleigh area.

I took my wifes car here based on Google reviews. I got a good quote to install a new head unit and 2 pair of speakers to replace the OEM stereo. I brought it in and it took about 2 hours to complete the installation. The unit was installed properly and works great. Alex and the crew kept me apprised of the status of the work. I would bring my cars here for stereo work in the future.

I was very pleased with the speaker replacement in my SLK350 this week. Although the job took more time than originally quoted, due to the small size of my car (not much room to work in), Alejandro only charged the quoted price. They updated me often as the work progressed. If I need audio upgrades in the future, Ill definitely be back.

The owner is very honest. His main salesman Alex is very dishonest and nothing that comes out of his mouth is true. Everything he tries to sell you he marks up 200 to 300 percent. If you take the time to google the product you will see his dishonesty. His favorite line is his claim to take a 100.00 off just for you. My last experience with Alex was last week when he lied to my face that my car had been taken a part for an installation, when I went back myself to look my car was intact. He was in a rush to leave and instead of being honest about it and having me come back another day he lied and said the speakers I brought with me could not be installed but he had some 300.00 speakers that could. The next day I took the exact same speakers to another audio place and they installed them no problem. David is great....Alex is an opportunist that hopes you listen to his fast talk and arent smart enough to research products for yourself.

Went to get my sub replaced and was in and out in less than an hour. Everyone was very friendly and they provide a multitude of services and products. Would recommend to anyone with car audio issues or wanting some new wheels.

These people are very sketchy and try to get over on you, they tell you different prices..I called one day and asked how much to install speakers that i brought they told me 165... I bring my car in they say 180 ok cool. Then I go into the store sit at a computer get approved for some type of credit for 2500...and let me tell you how much this man overpriced me just because i got approved for that amount of money since i also potentially wanted tint and rims. An I still never told them that i was the individual who called over the phone who they stated different prices to. So I call again about a week later an you guessed it. They change the price $255 to install speakers. That I brought?!!! I think not. Now Im not sure if they tried to get over on me because Im a woman and they thought i was gullible or what but thats a shame. Im not trying to turn this into a sexist thing

I went to get an estimate on upgrading my audio system with aftermarket subwoofers and an amplifier to power them. Cant say enough good about these guys. I needed new equipment on my houseboat and no one wanted to deal with a boat and a friend suggested I give Davids a call. Wow; same day service and they went beyond expectations taking care of problems not even related to the new install. They even left my boat cleaner than when they found it. After looking at the job that they did for me two other boat owners are contacting them for help with their boats. Oh and to top it off I received a follow up text to insure that I was completely happy with the install.

Install went well and timely but radio stopped working a few months later. Turns out it was a blown fuse. They were too busy to fix right then but stayed late and fixed.

May be good when it comes to installing your stereo and speakers BUT DO NOT TRUST THEM WITH YOUR LIGHTS. Poor quality installation causing lights to flicker frequently. Also the one of the fog light covers their staff installed LITERALLY fell off while driving down 440 hitting the car behind us. Now both the bulbs are dangling from the vehicle and they refuse to take any responsibility and fix the issue. So maybe they are good when it comes to rims and stereos but please if your thinking about upgrading your lights PLEASE dont make the same mistake as us, take your money some where else because they will not take responsibility for poor installation and wiring.

4 days before a road trip from NC to the Desert SW, my drivers side speaker stopped making any sounds. NO WAY I WAS DRIVING 2000 MILES AND BACK WITHOUT MUSIC! I stopped in and they made an appointment for late afternoon that day. They made recommendations for repairs to the FJ Cruiser front speakers (not the easiest task due to the odd speaker mounts Toyota used) and did the job. Good service that fixed the problem.Are they the cheapest, I have no idea, I needed service and I needed it NOW!!!The FJ sounds much better than it did, and Im ready to go. Recommended, no question.
