Megan truly went above and beyond what I expected our session to be. I absolutely loved talking to her! She is so kind and knowledgeable. It was honestly so much fun! She gave me so much amazing content, ideas, and changes that I can not wait to get started. Also, she brought up very important points and changes I needed to make that I had not even realized! I would recommend her to anyone who is wanting to have a fresh look on your event related business or someone to hold them accountable and help them achieve their goals. I will for sure be using her consulting services again in the future!

I was transitioning my wedding photography business from NJ to NC with not much success when I found out about Megan. The main reason to hire her as my business coach was to understand the wedding industry in NC and adapt my business. I thought my website, documents, client experience and workflow were great since I was established in NJ, but Megan brought so much value to all these aspects of my business as well. My business has grown in NC so much in the past 6 months and it is definitely because of Megan’s guidance and knowledge. Without a doubt the investment was totally worth it and I look forward to continuing to work with her.There was only one thing I was not expecting from this investment. I was not expecting Megan to become such a good friend. I love Megan so much, she is incredible. She is encouraging and supportive while being realistic and assertive. I gleaned things from our conversation that can be implemented immediately, as well as things that could be added over time. Megan was extremely helpful with providing feedback on my small business. The amount of useful information she gave me in just an hour was life-changing! She knows how to think creatively about problems and provide solutions in multi-effective ways. Beyond that, she is incredibly invested in how well you do - she truly cares about your success from a personal stand point. That was obvious to me in the small details - like going well over the allotted hour we had, following up with me afterwards, and taking the time to get to know me personally. I am a photographer and wanted to grow my wedding photography business and had gotten to the point where I had done everything I could do to grown on my own. I decided to hire Megan, a wedding industry expert to take things to the next level. On our initial call she asked me what my goals were and from there we designed meetings around these goals. These meetings were intense (in a positive way!) and I got so much more out of them than I expected. Megan will comb through your business and workflow, explain what needs to be changed and why, and then send you a formal write up so you have everything that was discussed in writing. Megan is warm, professional but also no nonsense. She brought issues to my attention that I didn’t realize needed to be addressed. Best of all, she helped me develop a workflow that saves me so much TIME! I took everything she said to heart and made all the changes she suggested. The results are miraculous- I have over 20 weddings booked for 2020 and have also been able to significantly raise my price. If you are in a place where you want to grow, but aren’t sure how to get there, invest in your own business and hire Megan- you won’t regret it.

Before I started Four 26 Events, I tuned in to Megan’s podcast, Weddings For Real, weekly. I could always count on takeaways from each episode to apply, once I started my business. I weighed the options of what I should invest money into for my first year of business: advertising on a wedding site, trade show exhibition or hiring a consultant.About 3 months after launching my business, I made the decision that hiring a consultant was most important. I know having Megan’s expertise on the front end will be critical to my success in the first few years of my business. While advertising and trade shows can be beneficial, I wanted a solid foundation to build my brand and business from. Megan has been instrumental in that foundation.I was impressed from initial intake. She provided me a well-thought out survey to learn more about my specific needs and expectations for our 3-month consulting plan. After she reviewed my questionnaire she created an agenda. Post meeting she would follow-up with notes. Many of our meetings I had “homework” assignments from updating my website to planning out social media content. Megan held me accountable for these actions, providing honest and constructive feedback, as well as praise.With Megan’s encouragement and support, the two most important steps in my business came from action plans we discussed during consulting. I hosted my first styled shoot (that had over 10 vendors) to build my portfolio and work with new vendors. There has been a lack of industry support and resources in the area I live and I wanted to change that. I created a local networking group for vendors - which without Megan’s encouragement wouldn’t have launched as early as I did.I would highly recommend Megan to any wedding vendor who needs guidance on any aspect of the business.
