College Hunks went above and beyond. We used their labor services for moving out and moving into our new home. They communicated with me throughout the process, including confirming before they were due to arrive. Upon arrival they introduced themselves (there were 3 movers), they were friendly and professional. With quick and limited direction they got right to work. They were very meticulous about protecting the walls and staircase by putting padding to prevent any possible damages. They helped setup our dining table, couches, and bed! They even cleaned up the garage and folded the moving blankets that wasnt even theirs 😀 They definitely made moving with an infant such an ease and eliminated all the stress. I had my baby in the carrier the entire time and they did everything we needed in less time than we had booked. Which allowed for more help in areas we needed them. Would recommend 100% and would use for any upcoming labor or moving needs! Very dependable, thank you College Hunks for helping us during our move!

Had an appointment and they no call no show. When I called their office I was told the crew would call me. They did not, in fact I still havent heard from them. But thats fine because I called 1-800 junk and they came the next day, even calling to let me know they were a little behind.

Every employee I spoke to was incredibly friendly and helpful, they called and sent emails leading up to my appointment to confirm the date and time and answer any questions I had. The Hunks were prompt and did their job very quickly. Also incredibly reasonably priced compared to other companies we had checked out. Would absolutely recommend!

The team of guys moved a lot of heavy furniture with care and concern for not only the furniture but also the house. They wrapped the furniture in blankets and stretch wrap. They also put down a runner in the hallway to protect the floor and some sort of bumper guard on the door frame. They were respectful, quick and efficient. I use these guys frequently. They are super friendly, professional, reliable and communicative. I usually book online, because I hate being on the phone, and this past appt, I had to reschedule. I was able to TEXT my reschedule request to them, and they handled it with no problems. On the day of the reschedule, they were running a little behind (like less than an hour). It was no problem for me, but they were on top of it. They called to keep me updated, and then, when it looked like the crew would be held up longer, the supervisor called me, apologized, and came over himself to make sure our job was done. So, customer service is fantastic. I plan to keep using these guys forever.

I had an appointment scheduled for 5-7pm today. NO ONE has shown up. NO ONE has called. no explanation. Posted office hours say open until 9pm, but when I called at 7pm, the automated message said the office was closed.This is completely unprofessional. I scheduled my appointment today for a reason. I dont have time to wait to reschedule it. I confirmed this appointment over the phone multiple times this week just to make sure this wouldnt happen.

I was pretty excited to use this company, however, theres a lot of issues.1. The website says theyll give you a free online quote. This is an outright lie. They require your information, then they call to get more information from you, then they want to schedule time for someone to come to your home. They will not give you a quote until then.2. When trying to schedule an in-home appointment, they cant schedule for an exact time. They want a 2-hour window for them to show up. Im sorry, my time is valuable. I need to be able to rely on you to show up at a specific time.Please do better.

The hunks were the most professional movers I’ve ever worked with. They carefully and mindfully packaged all my items and moved everything with such care as if it was their own stuff. I called College Hunks weeks ago to schedule to have my home packed by the time the moving truck was set to arrive. They were aware of my deadline.Brandon came out to give me an estimate but never followed up.We had to call him twice to receive an estimate. I immediately approved the bid and reminded him of the deadline.He wrote back and said they could not schedule the job until after the moving truck arrived.What the heck? He took a week to follow up and then couldn’t get me on the schedule. He has left me in a situation where I now have to pack myself.As a single, working mom - it is unbelievably frustrating.Honestly, I should say I am not surprised. He was edgy and appeared to not interact well with strong women (me or my assistant).Call someone else. Don’t let him waste your time.

I originally hired labor to move a large piece of furniture downstairs into the garage. I was going to have to deal with getting rid of it. Luckily Keith mentioned that they can take it away for donations!! The piece is gone and I don’t need to deal with it! Highly recommend!!

They were objective and professional with the visual of my messy garage and they were super willing to take items that were not scheduled. I had really heavy work benchs and they worked as a team to remove the item is the safest way for my property and themselves. Great problem solvers and very knowledgeable of how to disassemble furniture to transport it. They also educated me on how they can assit with moving and furniture assembly. The company themselves was quick to reach out to me and had great availability. This was a much better interaction and price compared to what I was proposed on Offer up. Will definitely use again!

Well after Keith was a little late , just for that reason , Keith and his cohort came out and hauled all our junk away and were absolutely the nicest employees and took care of our junk problem . I liked that they gave me a call letting me know they would be here soon. They arrived with in the time frame and from when they quoted they would be here. Used them for junk removal in the past and have always had great experiences so we decided to have them help with our move from a storage facility to our new home. They were on-time, friendly, and very professional! So great with checking in about fragile items and ensuring the boxes/furniture got put into the correct rooms in the new place.

These movers took longer than the estimate, damaged our things and stole from us. When I reported these issues with the company I was offered an insulting $25. I paid them almost $1500 for the move so they were willing to refund 1.67% of the total cost. This is ludicrous. Do not use the movers, they have thieves and will not make things right if there are issues. I would like to add that after I posted this review I got a call from the franchise manager who proceeded to harass me and still did not resolve anything. I had to tell the woman I wasn’t going to argue with her. I know they stole from me, full stop.

AGAIN, THE WORK WAS GREAT AND THIS WORKED FOR ME THIS TIME BASED ON THE FLEXIBLE DAY I PLANNED FOR MYSELF. I WILL USE THEM AGAIN AND JUST LOOK FORWARD TO BETTER COMMUNICATION WHEN SCHEDULING CHANGES.

From the first call on getting a quote to them showing up and getting the job done was by far one of the best experiences. I was told that even when they come out I am not obligated to pay for the estimate. I got a call mid week to confirm them coming out, a call before the showed and they were done loading it all in less then 30mins. I will be using their services everytime I need junk removal. I tried to use this business. I had them come out to quote our move and all went well until they left. After that, no quote was received, the owner Brandon doesnt answer his phone and his mailbox is conveniently full so I was unable to leave a message. Their actual number, rarely gets answered and the 1 time I got through they said I would get a call back to get their quote to me and again received nothing. I ended up texting Brandon and recieved nothing in return. Horrible service and a complete waste of my time having them come out. I would think twice about calling them up.

College Hunks did a great job. I called one day and they had someone out that day to do an estimate and schedule the pick up of an old and very heavy stove. It was done in a few days. They are reliable and quick and very helpful. Cost was very reasonable.

Contacted them through messenger to see about a quote. They suggested a day and time I told them it would work great. Replied the day before to confirm and heard nothing. Called this morning to confirm was told I would get a call back as soon as the guy got off the phone with someone else from the local franchise(puyallup WA) and no call back at all. No one has sown up. Must not want peoples business to bad.

Looked up their services online and was surprised to see how simple it was to book. Was able to get help hauling away a pile of junk same day!The guys that showed up were courteous and friendly, very easy going and worked quick too.Payment was easy as they had card readers and so on. The 19 different price points may seem a little confusing but with the way it was shown on the site and explained in person or was pretty straightforward.Would definitely use their services again in the future!

Communication started out great. Then they lied to me over and over! They were scheduled to be at the home between 8:30 – 10:30 am. I traveled 40 minutes to the location and got there early (8:15) just in case. At 8:54 AM I received a text saying they’d see me soon. At 10:17 AM I got a call saying they’d been sent on another job (WHAT?!), but they’d be at my location in 30-45 minutes. They did not show up until 12:13 PM! Four hours in which I could have been doing other work also. They gave me a ‘discount,’ but no mention was made about reimbursing me for MY wasted time! Hope that other job paid REAL well, because not only will I not recommend them, I will let people know exactly how they mistreated me. That ‘H’ in H.U.N.K.S. that is supposed to set stand for ‘honest’ is a joke! Too bad I’m not laughing.

When he called corporate to get a quote, was told that boxes on the day would cost extra. I took it as they’ll have them available if necessary. Turns out they need to know ahead of time. Wish they would’ve clarified by asking “will you need boxes?” The manager was kind of rude about this situation. Won’t go into specific details.However, I am giving it 4 stars because Kyle and the other 2 guys, sorry cannot remember their names, were great. They were really professional, did not complain about having to wait, did not complain about moving big items, they were really friendly, did the job efficiently, and quickly. They did an overall fantastic job.

The two team members that helped with my move were very professional and very likable. They followed my every direction and protected the pieces I needed. They also managed to empty a 10 by 15 foot storage shed in one hour and bring it to my house where it took them an hour and 15 minutes to bring everything in. I was totally amazed that they could do all of that so fast! Nothing was damaged and everything was delivered. The bill was very reasonable.....actually I expected it to be more! I had started to write them a check and then found out that they can do bank cards, so that is how I paid them............awesome that they did not have to wait to cash my check to get paid! I cannot say enough about their move..............from start to finish, very professional and very fast!

I wish I could leave this awful company zero stars. I have moved many times in my life. This company is by far the absolute WORST. We booked them on September 11th, got a confirmation of the time theyd be arriving and where. The day of our move (Sept 27th) some woman from this company calls attempting to give us an estimate. Once we explained that wed already been given an estimate and had a confirmation with them to move were told they have no teams available. Were told this 3 hours before they were CONFIRMED to arrive. So now, we have a deadline to be out, a cleaning company and carpet cleaners coming in, and no movers. I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy. They are unreliable and unprofessional. Absolutely no sympathy from them despite the fact that we booked with them 2 weeks prior and they were the ones screwing us over. Please go with literally anyone else. Even if its some strangers on the street corner. Theyd be better than this company.UPDATE: My husband called everywhere and ended up speaking with Three Generations Moving and Hauling. After explaining how College Hunks had screwed us over they were able to get us in same day and were absolutely amazing.Thank you to the owner for responding and attempting to claim my husband booked it wrong. Dont worry, Ill be sure to leave a screenshot of the email confirmation on your images, I could also email this to you as well if you like. But of course when you called my husband back to complain about this review you never asked to see any proof we had of YOU messing up. Further proof of your unprofessionalism. And to anyone reading this review, if you filter their reviews from lowest to highest youll see this company has numerous 1 star reviews that say the exact same thing. They were given a 2 hour window, no one showed up, and when they called were told they didnt have an appointment. So obviously this is an internal problem that the owner Brandon is blaming on his customers.
