I would just like to start by saying that this shop is so awesome and they really, honestly care about your safety! I had just bought a used car and had taken it to a different shop which was a total nightmare and I had to get all my money back from the other shop and decided to take it to Meridian Family Auto because William at the front desk was so understanding and cool. They went above and beyond to make sure that my car was all the way fixed and even fixed things I didn’t know were wrong just because they were so concerned with my safety! I would 100% recommend this shop to anyone that will listen! So professional, they use good parts and they don’t over charge! I literally can’t say enough nice things about the team!

I dropped my car off for repairs expecting to have my car there for a week, per my initial conversation with the manager. I received a call hours later informing me the parts I needed just so happened to be available and they had me back in my car the next day!! The customer service was beyond excellent and the staff were extremely friendly and professional, in addition to very responsive when I called or texted with questions and updates. Definitely a 5 star experience!

After seeing first hand how these guys treat their customers and their work I will always highly recommend them to anyone I know. Never had the pleasure of having work done but on a personal and a professional level they truly are a really phenomenal group of guys.

In and out with no hassles... I took my truck down to Steve and had him check things out...After thoroughly checking the system he explained to me what needed to be done... He replaced the transfer case motor and the A/C system pressure sensor... Steve and Tyler re-tested the system, did a road test and all went well... As I said... in and out with no hassles... I hate to have to write this review, because Ive been a loyal customer to this shop for a long time and I really do like the guys that I deal with at the counter.When I first dealt with them, it was for a suspension overhaul where they quoted me about $1200 LESS than another popular shop on Canyon; and performed good work.Since then, Ive taken several different cars for every bit of work Ive needed done outside of oil and tire changes, and theyd been great.However, things have changed. I can only assume its a new generation of technicians, but I can no longer recommend this shop to anybody with a clear conscience, nor can I bring myself to take another vehicle back ever again.Id taken a Toyota Pickup there for a few things about a year ago, and I was never really confident that the issues were fully resolved - but let it be and ended up selling the truck.Most recently, I took my 2001 Ford F250 in with concerns about the ability of the truck to hold a charge for more than 1-2 weeks without use (I dropped in brand new batteries, same results) and some apparent glowplug issues (horrible lugging on startup, slow to warm up, hard to start).The first analysis was an alternator issue -- and they wanted $600 for the repair. $300 for the part and $300 for labor. Its *hard* for me to find an alternator for this truck that costs more than $200 and its one of the easiest alternator installs in any vehicle Ive ever had...I should have just bought one myself and did the swap, but since they said they couldnt diagnose anything else until this was done -- I didnt want to tow it back and forth for that sake.They swapped out the alternator and called me the next day saying that all the problems were fixed.I drove it home, and the next day the starting issues were still just as present as before...2 weeks later the batteries were dead. Changing the alternator did nothing.So I took it back in, and they said that the PCM was dead and they couldnt connect to it. I thought this sounded strange, but I was promised that this was 100% the issue and it would resolve all of my problems.After over a month of ordering new PCMs from shady companies that never shipped the item, I was tired of waiting and found a company that is highly referenced for rebuilding Ford PCMs (S.I.A. Electronics).I called and said wed pick up the truck and just move forward with this.The next day, my girlfriend went to pick up the truck and was promised that she would be fine to drive it home and that she wouldnt have any problems. The dash lit up halfway home, she lost her headlights going up 410, lost her windshield wipers shortly thereafter, and fortunately made it onto the back roads before the truck died completely.I sent the PCM out to S.I.A. after all of this fiasco; they ran all of the bench tests available and informed me that the unit is in perfect working condition, and they have no problems connecting to it.So now Ive spent money on a PCM diagnostic, and an alternator replacement, and not only is *nothing* of the original problem resolved but I still dont have an accurate diagnosis. At this point, I probably could have taken it to the dealership, paid their premium, had a working truck months ago, and paid less than Im going to end up paying by the time this is done.

I was a loyal customer of this shop for a long time. I had them work on all my cars, even my classic, but I definitely won’t be returning. In 2017, I had them replace a water pump and timing belt on my Honda. In doing so, they cross-threaded FIVE bolts, including one so badly, it damaged the block and another shop had to install a helicoil to get the new pump installed.When I replaced the pump and timing belt in 2021 after only 36k miles, it added $330, plus tax to my labor charges to remove the bolts and install the helicoil.Unacceptably sloppy work. I realize it was discovered well after any warranties expired, but when I just tried to have a conversation with the owner about the situation, he never returned my calls. I depended on them for a long time, but they have proven they don’t care.

Meridian Family Auto Repair has taken care of my maintenance and repair for well over 10 years.Excellent quality work and fair price.Until a year ago my 🚗was a 1999 Volkswagen which I loved, but finally I decided it was time... so I purchased a 2016 Nissan Altima from a dealership that sold both new and used cars.Being a senior citizen on fixed income I financed my new car.Unfortunately soon I now and then experienced odd hiccups in performance as I was driving, causing me to lose confidence in my purchase. 😢Of course it never happened when my son or anyone was riding with me.Then one day the red/dreaded CHECK ENGINE light came on!I right away drove to my Primary Physician (car) shop.They right away with the tool that reads the check engine code had to tell me it was a transmission code! Even without knowing much about cars I knew this meant big $!And having just added a car payment to my meager budget... 😟So heres what makes all the guys at Meridian Family Auto deserve way more than 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐They did not talk to me about parts, labor, or financing etc. Instead they called the Nissan dealership in Puyallup and asked about their warranty for transmissions, then asked if a 2nd owner of the car would be covered. I would never have thought to ask the New car dealership!But they did... so long story short, my Altima got a brand new transmission. Nissan gave me a loaner car to use while they worked on it and it did not cost me a penny!Meridian Family Auto saved me between $5,000 to $6,000!Oh, and after the new transmission all those little hiccups I had experienced while driving were gone, my new to me car now drives like a brand new car! 🤗Thank you Meridian Family Auto Repair!You are appreciated!

I took a used car I was considering buying for an inspection. Boy, am I happy I did. Even though it looked good the car was mechanically a wreck.

I had my vehicle at Larson Dodge Stealership for multiple weeks. Spent over $5500 in parts, labor and diagnostics. They had my truck for over 4 weeks total and couldnt fix it. I brought it to Meridian Family Auto, they diagnosed it and repaired my truck in one day. They are amazing. The name Meridian Family Auto is exactly right.... They treat you like family and are honest and trustworthy....I will never take my vehicles anywhere else.

My Kia Optima Hybrid completely stopped running on Saturday. I had it towed to the shop on Monday late afternoon. Tuesday morning I received a call explaining the diagnosis and price. I was so impressed they had already diagnosed my car so fast! I was told one of the parts that they ordered wouldnt be in until Thursday morning and they were hoping to have my car finished by Thursday afternoon but possibly Friday. Wednesday at 12pm I get a call from them saying my car is ready for pick up. I was obviously very pleasantly surprised. Steven picked me up and the price they quoted me over the phone on Tuesday was the price I paid, no BS hidden extra work charges or anything. All the guys I had the pleasure of dealing with were awesome to say the least. Great place and great people. HIGHLY recommend!

William at the front desk was delightful. He was friendly, professional, and on the dot with his estimation on my car being done. This of course says something about how well oiled the entire shop is. This place was very busy when I came in and it was still done during the time frame he estimated it might be. The waiting area was clean, the coffee was good, and the AC was definitely a plus. Average pricing for the job, above average work and parts put in. This is a great shop!

Took my truck in there when it had transmission issues. They were honest and quick with what they saw as the issues. They additionally looked over the truck to make sure it was in tip top shape. Truck was done early and even less than quoted. I’ll be bringing all my cars in here.

I recently took my dually to Meridian Family Auto and I had a great experience. I went in to have my fuel injectors replaced. Being that this was a high cost job I asked for a quote and they came in the lowest price around $4,000. After a while I found that one injector was not operating correctly and needed to be replaced under warranty. The injector was stuck good and took them quite a few days of working on it when it finally came out and found that the original injector was installed incorrectly, and carbon built up to the point that when the new injector was installed it did not completely seat causing the running issue. Josh at the front office kept me informed of the progress on my truck and kept friendly and upbeat through a tough time for both the shop having to spend a lot of time on a warranty item and me not driving my truck. I have nothing to say but great things about these folks.

I had brought in an older Ranger fleet pickup truck I purchased used. I expected some work would need to be done and I also wanted to make changes to the lubrication of the vehicle. Steve was able to schedule one day ahead, accomplished the tasks I asked of them, inspected and communicated all issues discovered and when I agreed with their assessment and work needed it was done by the end of the day. The parts and labor are guaranteed. Communications were excellent.

This has become my go to place for auto repair. I bring both my old vehicles (21 years old) for almost any service or repair. I have complete faith in the quality of their work, adherence to their estimates, and willingness to fix any issue that might come up (like a part that breaks). Their 18 month warranty on parts and labor is SOLID! Yea their parking lot is cramped but that is about the only complaint I can think of:)

I changed to MFAR because I was tired of being hustled to do unnecessary repairs. A friend recommended them to me and I have always been happy with their honesty. Repairs are not always cheap but they are fair and if it is something that can wait they are up front about it. although I do not do a lot of recommendations, any time I am asked about auto repairs I am delighted to give MFAR a thumbs up.

Shannon and the rest of the team were up front with the pricing. Quoted me before they even began to work. Now my vehicle is running like new. Definitely will be returning! Such an outstanding team!!!

I had taken my truck to be repaired for a Brakeline ...when the truck was done ,they called me after I had been constantly calling before...and they were telling me that my transmission had gone bad in the initial tow that had taken place,after calling the tow company guys job and accused them of a faulty tow...The Mechanic calls me back after checking under the truck for everything that couldve gone wrong,now tells me about a plastic ring that had came off...now puzzled why this is going on now I had to apologize to the tow truck guys company because of a misdiagnosis ...

I had a diagnostic performed as I needed it done to verify what issues my Saturn Ion was possibly suffering from due to the check engine light & Service engine light alerting me to the problem. They quoted me a straight fee, unlike other autos service shops or dealerships which typically charge by the hour. They stated they would need the vehicle for 3 hours to detect & read the codes the engine was giving.Note: Dont trust any auto parts stores scan readers as most dont know how to read the codes. Most people simply end up wasting money buying unnecessary parts the vehicle may not need. Replacing the fuel cap with a factory cap, may help some but not most. & most still typically end up with the check engine or service engine light on.Meridian Family Auto Repair found three issues. After getting it fixed both light issues stopped appearing.BTW, when I made an appointment for my Saturn. I had no way of getting home (however I do live within 5 miles), I simply let them know & they offered to drive me home & then pick me up when my vehicle was finished without adding any additional fee!So if you have any issue about getting back home or to the shop to get your vehicle, simply ask if they can do the same for you. They will if you live close by. This made it very easy & hassle free instead of relying on making arrangements with either friends or family.If you need your vehicle fixed asap you can count on them getting it done quickly without issues.I highly recommend you request Steven the auto technician to work on your vehicle, because he treats it as if were his own car suffering from problems.For example, I experienced an issue of my car not wanting to start...Guess what the cause was? Steven discovered my floor mat would not allow my clutch to fully engage to start it! At first he assumed it was a a starter going bad, but his tests were not conclusive, so he looked for other possible causes.The guy is detailed oriented & carefully reviews the problem. It was a simple fix that did not cost me anything.Most places would take advantage of you, especially women, but not Steven aka Meridian Family Auto Repair as they treat you like family. Sounds cornball, until you experience itNote: Newer cars require manual transmissions to be fully engaged or they wont start!I highly recommend you give the opportunity. So what are you waiting for? Do not take your diesel vehicle to this shop. My truck went in for a fluid leak. After $3000, it came out worse than it went in. I took it to another shop and they said that the reason it was running rough was directly related to what they did. It cost me $8200 to get it fixed from the new shop. Do not take a chance.

I was in one heck of a bind. I drove my beloved, beat-up BMW 92 318 to Ft. Lewis for work. After I got to my hotel, Id go out and start it every other day because Id just put a new alternator in it and wanted to keep the battery charged. On Thursday afternoon, I cranked it up, lit my pipe and was cruising FB (duh) when it gave out with the sound I knew so well; it slowly gurgled like a drowning raccoon and died. I knew that for whatever reason it wasnt charging and had been running off the battery and that battery had finally just given up.So here I am, 253.3 miles from my marvelous home in Oregon, no tools, no ride, a gig to get to, all alone, and supposed to drive home on Saturday. I paged through my phone and the positive rating of Meridian Family Auto Repair caught my eye. I called and Steven answered the phone. I explained the situation to him and he said theyd be happy to look at it and fix it if possible.So I got up the next morning, had the car towed to the shop and caught an Uber to work. I wasnt there long before the God of Wiring, Tyler, called me and told me what the problem was,.It was not one that I ever would have found myself. And that is why you should always hire professionals.So after I got done with work I hitched a ride to the shop and settled up. The bill came in exactly one dollar less than what they quoted me and that quote was considerably less than what I was expecting. The car ran as described. Steven is personable, professional, and easy to talk to. Tyler is my new hero. I get to drive back tomorrow to my bride because of them. I cannot possibly recommend this shop highly enough.

I called yesterday about getting the starter in my truck replaced. The 2 workers I spoke with on the phone were professional and friendly. I brought my truck in that afternoon and they were able to get it fixed and back to me within a quick turnaround time on the same day. We appreciated them so much they were the first place we thought of after we bought a new car. We made the mistake of bringing our new car into the dealerships service department when we had issues. We had the most unprofessional experience at Puyallups Buick Chevrolet. We were able to bring our car to Meridian Family Auto and have the issue repaired within a day! THEY ARE AMAZING!

This place was a total rip-off! My car was in great shape until I got an oil change from them. I would not recommend this auto to anyone EVER! All I wanted was a simple oil change but they wanted to repair my car for almost $3600????I dont think so! There is no way Im going back there. No compassion (he pretended!) or whatsoever. When he told me about the repair price? His face looks like its too late coz we already messed up your car. It felt like I got robbed! Big mistake! I would not let anyone like this put a hand on my car EVER again.

Reliable and honest work, been bringing my car here for two years. Had my brakes and rotors done here with every oil change. It’s a bit expensive for labor but it’s worth it with the good work they put in your car.

I wouldnt go to this shop EVER if i were you!! Choose another better quality customer service oriented shop that WONT take all your money and do a CRAPPY job on your vehicle thats been in there for weeks.. this shop disgusts me with the lack of customer service.. i mean i could tell you all of the things that went wrong during my visit but basically they charged me a whole lot for little work and took forever. They said they would have my vehicle done first thing Monday morning and i call later Monday morning and they say they are too busy and it will be done tomorrow morning... like i need transportation.. they didnt go back on their word. I guess meridian FAMILY auto means lying to their customers... When i got my vehicle back they must have test drove it around the whole city because there was at least 50 miles put into it... like did you use my car for you personal use.. who knows with this place its such a low grade mechanic shop. DO NOT EVER GO HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO GET MILKED FOR YOUR MONEY AND LEFT TO ROT. !!! >:(

I took my BMW to Meridian because one of my corona lights went out and the dealership wanted 300 dollars to replace it. They let me bring in my vehicle without an appointment and replaced the light for only 170 dollars and included an 18 month warranty. I also had them do a tune up which was 175 cheaper than the dealership. I wish I would have discovered them when my warranty expired because I could have saved even more money earlier this year. The technicians were knowledgeable and friendly and they didnt try to make me pay for unnecessary repairs.

My experience with Meridian Family Auto Repair is the best customer service experience Ive ever had. They went much farther than the extra mile for me, and saved me money, time, and hassle. They were also professional and pleasant to deal with, proactive, and they explained things well and kept me up to date.

I brought my challenger in for a tuneup and have had problems since. We took it back and they said nothing was wrong with it that the check engine light was probably just a fuse. Now I am having to pay another $500 for a intake coil that was ripped out during the tuneup. Piss poor mechanics here. Out over $1200 and now missing a day of work.

It was real pleasure doing busyness with this shop. The service was good and fast and the price was fair.

Took in my 2008 Volvo after receiving a $3.5K punch list from Fife Volvo Dealer. They verified all the faults except one and made all the repairs for $1.3K. Even took me under the hood to let me see with my own eyes. Wife appreciated the clean waiting room when we picked up the car. Well done!

I have used Meridian Family Auto Repair for my classic corvette repairs on several occasions and found the service to be excellent. An older car can be difficult to diagnose and sometimes find parts readily available. They have always come thru for me and even let my corvette sleep over until the parts arrived the next morning. I’ve taken my diesel 2003 Dodge Ram to Meridian Family Auto a few times over the years and have been very happy each time. Bill and his employees are VERY easy to work with, are respectful of the fact that you’re not there for a good reason and do their best to have your car back when they say it’ll be done on budget. Their shop is always busy for a reason, would you trust a repair shop that wasnt busy? They also don’t up sell you on anything you don’t need done and if there is something else that needs to be repaired it is very low pressure with them just giving you the facts letting you decide. It’s nice having an auto repair shop close to home that you can trust, thank you Bill and Meridian Family Auto for being an honest repair shop that does quality work at a good price.

I love this shop! We have a Subaru wrx that had some issues. We took the car in for various fixes like a new clutch, the ac unit kept shorting out and blowing fuses and a few other things. We usually deal with Bill who is the owner. He is s super nice guy and and is knowledgeable. When they give us a quote we can expect to pay what he quotes they have not ever gone over what they quoted but they have come in under a quote before. I would suggest this place over and over. Our cars dont go any where else but here!

That said; I felt a need to let it be known that the people at this shop have gone the extra mile to ensure I was satisfied each time I have gone to them needing repairs. The level of customer service and fair pricing for repairs has no equal IMHO. Keep them in mind anytime you are needing auto repairs and want it done right without a lot of hassel. They are my go to resource.

This is a great shop to take your car for great work and customer service. We had took our car to two shops before this shop. Shop one we picked up our car smelling like gas and $25 in gas gone. Shop two our car was dropped off quite as a mouse picked it up it was loud like a lion. So if you want your car to work and drive like it did when it was made, example if your car was made in 1992 after you pick it up from this shop your going to think you bought this car brand new, this is the shop to go.

I have used Meridian Family Auto Repair four times over the last couple of years and I am very happy with not only the quality of work done but the pricing. They explain up front what the cost will be to fix your car and then they get the job done fast and the work is done correctly. I will continue to bring my vehicles to them and suggest you do the same!.

I called in regarding a bad rear wheel bearing, and Robert stayed on the phone to provide me with an accurate cost estimate. Quoted around $250, and come out to $280 including tax. Upon dropping it off they were able to take a look and figure out that only the drivers side needed replacing. I called on a Monday, scheduled to drop it off on a Friday, and picked it up the same day at 4pm.Amazing service, great job, and honest.

They were extremely professional, fast and priced well. My steering went out on Sunday evening. I call them Monday morning I got my car back that day even though they were swamped. I would highly recommend them!

My husband took his Dodge Ram there for a weird sound while driving. They found it and fixed it for a affordable price. They were very friendly and did an awesome job.

Honest and looking out for me as the customer:This is the second time I have taken my car to meridian. The first time I went because they gave me the best bid on an exhaust replacement by 20%. The second time I was convinced I knew what was wrong and they gave me a quote for the work I requested. Then they called me and told me what actually needed to be done and it was 1/5th the price I was expecting. They could have taken advantage of me and I would have never known. They didnt. Customer for life!!

As a former shop owner I can honestly say Meridian Family Auto is a stand up shop! My wife and I are always greeted with a hello and a smile, the estimates on our vehicles, 97 Dodge Grand Caravan and 2005 Toyota Tundra are right on the money (no surprises) and the work performed is of high quality. I can truthfully and honestly recommend this shop.

Stopped by here on route to camping in Rainier NP, unscheduled and needing some minor repairs. Josh was kind enough to take the time out of his day and help us out/accomodate us and shortly we were back on the road. Excellent customer service!

Have taken my vehicle here twice now and both experiences were good. Got my vehicle back the next day and estimates were close to what I paid.

Passenger side power window of my Honda Pilot didnt work, so I left my car to Meridian Family Auto that I heard of a good reputation.They got it fixed but from that evening, passenger side door didnt work. It didnt open or close.I contacted them and they said they can fix it fairly quickly.After a diagnosis, they said the door issue has nothing to do with window repair. They said I need to pay for the fix.The door worked OK for last 6 years without any issue or repair, and it suddenly broke on the day they fixed the window.Is it a complete coincidence?I dont think so and I am pretty unhappy with how they handled this issue.

Ive been coming here for probably 4 or 5 years. I have my car get a 32 point inspection by my Toyota Dealer, every 5,000 miles, and then take it here to have it looked at to see if it actually needs the actions they found at the dealership, if it does I have this place work on it. They always quote me lower than I expect, and it always runs smoothly, Ive never once had to bring it back on a warranty issue, and Ive never had a service they do be bad even after the warranty. They always offer me pro-bono deals and try to make the service convienent to me. You can bet while I have a car, Ill bring it here for anything I cant do myself.

I am very particular about my cars and who I trust taking them to when them problem is to big for me to solve. Josh and the entire staff at Meridian Family Auto have met and exceeded any expectations that I could ever ask for in a shop. Theyve earned my trust, which is hard to do. I go here all the time when I need any work done, the friendliest staff, they dont try to rip you off, and they dont mind chauffeuring you if your cars going to stay. Best place in town, there second to none!

I took my car in to another mechanic for a different problem, but during their inspection they noticed my water pump was leaking onto my timing belt. They told me it would need to be fixed ASAP and they quoted me $1200. Yikes!I brought it to Meridian Family to have them look at it and estimate a cost for me. They were up front about the cost for the inspection which I appreciated, and were very quick to look at my car while I waited. He explained to me what my leak looked like, and that it would need to be repaired, and looked up a price estimate and printed everything off for me. Their quote was more than $300 less than the other guys! I had to double check to make sure their estimate included labor and everything! I was amazed. :) These guys are great, super friendly, and they dont try to sell me things I dont need!

I used Meridian for a pre-buy inspection on a used 2016 Subaru that we were considering.I called them at about 8:00 in the morning and they were able to work me in at 10:30am the same day. They were fast, conscientious and reasonably priced and I really appreciated their work.

These guys are fantastic. Timelines are fairly accurate, prices are upfront and reasonable, services are prioritized according to need, not price. The employees are all extremely professional and friendly, and willing to patiently explain anything and everything they do (or will do) to your vehicle. Any and every additional charge or needed service or repair was discussed upfront. No surprises with the bill. They were also happy to let me bring in my own combination of oil and additives for an oil change, and mixed them according to my request.Theres a tiny waiting room with a television, coffee (K-cups provided), popcorn and water, and there are several restaurants, stores, and a shopping center within a half mile (see Sunrise Village). The waiting room, parking lot, restroom, and garage all looked clean and well-taken-care-of, a huge positive first impression. I especially liked the numerous humorous signs and notices all over the office, conveying safety, business practices, and simple to follow instructions in a simple but accessible manner. I would recommend this shop to anyone any day. Super happy with my experience here.

Meridian family did a very good job on my car. I brought my 2001 Toyota Camry Solara in for locked up brakes and they had the issue diagnosed and fixed within 3 or 4 days, which is not super quick, but theyll get the job done right. I did have to bring it back due to a reoccurring brake dragging sensation, however they fixed that problem under their warranty absolutely free. I definitely recommend them for your car care needs, my only reservation is that I wish they were open Saturdays.

I had over 4K of work done on my RAV4, and was originally quoted 3-5 days. I did not get my car back for almost a month. When I finally did get my car back, the tail lights did not work and the rear door gasket torn. The work they did is already falling apart. Please, use another service for your automotive needs. This company will not help you. They will rob you. Not help you.

I’m a returning customer not only bc the quality of their work speaks for itself & is seriously damn Great!!! No I came back bc their customer service is Awesome! From the moment you arrive and walk in you’re greeted by Josh!! He is the Best!! Every call & every person he handles with such professionalism yet he also makes you feel comfortable and puts you at ease! Greg TitoI took my BMW to this shop for A/C repair after another other shop in Tacoma gave me a wrong diagnosis with an exuberant price. They said i need a compressor and labor costed well over a thousand dollars. I went to Meridian Family auto for a second opinion and amazingly, they found the problem and fixed it right away. One thing i recognised with the mechanic was his honesty. The price was a bit high but affordable. I recommend this shop to anybody.

***Update*** Bill, the owner, took initiative and reached out to me about my experience. I’m very pleased with how seriously he took my complaint and how he handled the situation. Bill stated that the employee who I had the interaction with was spoken to and no longer works for his company and Bill also offered a refund for the services we felt were unfairly charged. Based on how this has been handled we are willing to try again with Meridian Family Auto and will update again to share if the experience is better and if this was definitely a fluke.Used to have really good service and trust Meridian Family Auto Repair. No longer can I say that. I’m absolutely appalled at the service I received recently when I took my car in to get diagnosed. Fair warning: avoid this place like the plague or end up remorseful like us.My family trusted this company to take care of us and look out for our best interest regarding our vehicle. They used that trust to make unauthorized “repairs” to our car while never diagnosing the problem we took it in for in the first place, and not asking for our consent to make changes to our vehicle. Not only did they not diagnose the problem, nor fix the problem, they charged us over $100 for bringing it to them. We left with the same issuers and I’m not confident they didn’t do something to make it worst since now more problems are occurring. We ended up driving from their lot over to O’reillys who let us know the problem still existed and gave us some scenarios of what it could be, while LOOKING OUT FOR PUR BEST INTEREST and referring us to check with the car manufacturer to see if the vehicle could be inspected by them and if it was still under warranty. We skipped taking it to oreilly’s to do a diagnostic because we wrongfully TRUSTED Meridian Family Auto to take care of us. Turns out we are still under warranty and the manufacturer is taking care of us free of charge and knew exactly what the problem was.Not only is it incredibly frustrating and disappointing that Meridian Family Auto charged us for a service we did not authorize, when I called them and asked to speak with a manager and they had NO IDEA who I was, the man on the phone, Chris, who claimed to be the manager refused to speak to me and hung up on me. He didn’t ask what I needed or why I was calling, all I got to ask is for a chance to speak to him or what his schedule was so I can come in at a time convenient for him. He replied stating that he was much too busy to talk to me in person, he is a one man show with JUST an assistant, he is like a firefighter just go, go, go and he can’t commit to ANY TIME at ANY POINT where I could talk to him. I said he must pride himself on his service then, and he said he does his best. I then said that’s okay I’ll just talk to you while I have you on the phone then and he refused to speak to me saying again he’s much too busy and I picked the worst time to call - yet didn’t offer me any alternatives then forced me off the phone with a click.I’ve never experience such AWFUL service in my life! I’m not sure if I was just lucky to have never been treated like this in the past or if management changed, but I must implore others to avoid this place at all costs if you are interested in being treated fairly and having the service you asked for completed or at least verified before they start tinkering on your vehicle. And of course, stay away if you don’t want to be charged unfairly and unnecessarily. I have no problem paying for services, even paying more for excellent service, but that is not what Meridian Family Auto provides.
