Professional all around. His shop was being remodeled and he cared so much that I would have to wait for my stereo install that he offered me his own vehicle to go grab something to eat. Who does that?? Well, they did. My Harley sounds amazing and I couldn’t be happier with the service. All the guys were helpful. Highly recommend.

Ive been a business owner for most of my life and the Guyz at SOUND WORKZ are the most professional, well informed, Talented and all around great to work with bunch. I had a question about amplifiers for a marine application and stopped by to see if they could help. Help they did, I thought I had a good sound system on my boat until I heard what a marine system should sound like. I am a true audiophile at home and in my truck, music is my muse. So why not in my boat? They put together a system for me and installed it in one day at a cost that didnt break the bank. educated me on the nuances of outdoor sound and how to get the best out of the system. The work they performed (cutting fiberglass and the wiring) scared me at first but the work was Stellar to say the least. The install looks like it belongs right where it is like it came from the factory. The wiring was as clean and neat as on the Space Shuttle (they even cleaned up all of MY zip tied wires under the console. When the job was complete the even washed my boat.... Did I mention PROFESSIONAL! I cant say enough about this company and the owner, I highly recommend going to them for a consultation before you make any decision on getting a system for your Boat.... or Car... or Truck

Sean and his guys do amazing work . I took my 2006 dodge ram to them to get a new radio with a backup camera , they did awesome job. Then i took my wifes new car and my truck in to get the front windshield tinted , again they did a fantastic job . I am also going to take my Harley to them to install a new sound system .Very professional and friendly place for all you audio and tinting needs , i highly recommend you to go here , you will not be disappointed .Thanks again to the guys at soundworkz

I will try not to make this too long. Nothing but praise for Sean and his team. My son purchased a car in Las Vegas 4 years ago and had his windows tinted with Lewmar tint. Fast forward and it started to bubble, after many many calls to Lewmar he was directed to Soundworkz. The other places my son was sent to kept trying to charge him to repair even though it was a lifetime warranty. My son went and spoke with Sean, he spoke with Lewmar and they agreed to replace the tint at Lewmars expense. Even tho the other places said the same thing when he went there he was told there would still be a charge. Not for Sean! My son dropped the car off and when we picked it up it was PERFECT! It really was. My son is a vet and was being deployed to Germany so he was trying to tie up lose ends before he went. Lewmar took care of Sean HOWEVER Sean shared with us that had they did not cover the cost to replace the bubbled up tint, he would have done it for him for free as a thank you for his service! It does not get any better than that. With that customer service I went ahead and got my Suburban done including the windshield with Ceramic. It is awesome and much cooler in the sun in side. We will be taking my wifes care to him next.Thank you Sean and Soundworkz!

Absolutely the worst customer service. Sounds like the guy needs to change his diaper and tampon. I will never spend another penny here. I should have listened to everyone else and gone down the road.

I brought my new Jeep Wrangler in, needing speakers and an amp installed. They mostly do high end jobs like boats, but they got me right in. Their wiring is professional to say the LEAST. To top off the good experience, they noticed that one of my sidesteps that I had just installed myself was off... The guys got on the hot concrete under my truck and fixed the problem, no charge. Go to these guys if you want your work done RIGHT the first time.

Never dealt with Soundworkz before but stopped by to see Sean about my JL Audio Amp that had blown in my boat. He showed me his line of BlueWave amps and they were in stock and had better output than JLs. His guy came out the next day to look at my boat and Don was great and understood what I wanted. Sean quickly got me in his schedule and performed new install and re-wired the mess I had and even went above and beyond and installed new Panel out of StarBoard and hid all the wires behind the panel. Looks great and sound is back! Highly recommend Sean and his team.

I cannot put into words how amazing working with this local company was for our family. My husband and I bought speakers for our daughters car for Christmas and were not able to get them installed. I called and spoke to the owner about possible installation, explained very quickly what was going on and he agreed to help us. He offered us an appointment the very next day, installed the speakers, and we were on our way. His staff was amazingly friendly and helpful, he was professional, his location is ideal, and his customer service was superb. Ive been a customer of Soundworkz since 2014, having my windows tinted was my first experience with Sean and his crew. Extremely professional, timely installation, and a quality job!!Over the past 5 years more windows tinted and a couple of Pioneer stereos installed all adding to my satisfaction.My latest was completed last week, another Pioneer this time with CarPlay! The install was quick and it works flawlessly!! Oh yeah and one more thing, the price for this setup was more than fair!!They took the time to explain the features and demonstrated them as well.They all work hard to make sure you are satisfied (I was!) and have earned a loyal customer...Below is a picture of the actual finished installation.

Being one of the only shops in Port Charlotte you would think that you could get honest work and products from this place but youll find none of that... From price gouging, lack of knowledge to questionable installs. I wouldnt suggest this place being that when you need one thing and get something entirely different things become questionable...The last straw was the attitude of the owner!Js Performance Works is who I trust with knowledge, quality and honesty! From their performance mods, lighting to their custom car audio. Youll get what you pay for and not some misled puff of smoke!

Great quality of work and very helpful

Great place to get tinting done for my cars. I think I have now done 8-9 cars!! What I like is the pricing is fair compared to other companies I used which is important, but more important is they have fixed or replaced any tint that I felt didnt meet my standards. This is the main reason I continue to go back and recommend to friends. In past, I worked with other tinting companies and if it was not in the first 30 days they wanted to charge to fix what should have been right thr first time. My recommendation this is the only place to go for tinting of your vehicle

Even in hard times Soundworkz was still able to take care of my bass head needs and were very helpful when I wanted to make some adjustments to my car. Sean and his crew Don and Mike got the job done the day after I called and they were very nice about everything! Subs sound good and I’m a happy customer thank you soundworkz!

Great job always!, I had them do all my party buses,limos and my sound system in my boat. If I ever had a problem they were quick to fix it. I’ve sent many friends their way and everyone was pleased. They installed power windows,locks, alarm and sound system in my f-750 last month. Next is my 911 Carrara. These guys put a lot of pride and dedication into what they do .

I recently had one of the speakers on my motorcycle go out and needed a replacement. A couple of friends recommended SoundWorkz Kustomz to me so I thought I would check them out. I was quoted a fair price for four replacement speakers and an amp. I was so impressed by the quality of the workmanship and new speakers that I decided to get two additional speakers cut into the lives of my saddle bags. Just got the bike back after they installed two speakers custom cut into the lids of my saddlebags. Wow! Excellent sound, excellent installation and excellent service. I can highly recommend this place to anyone.

For a simple sound bar installation to an atv, it ended up coming out to a $400 bill(mind SEAN HIMSELF said it DEFINITELY won’t pass $200 to install. Costing more than the speakers they installed, now to realize they didn’t Loctite any bolts so everything came apart. Ask for a seal waterproof box that used 100s of times I mean there is 5 of them ziptied to my bike all dry yet the one they install is faulty? Waste of time and a massive waste of money. I should have done it myself if I knew they were going to put effort in their business.

They stand behind their work & let you know upfront what your liabilities are in the never ending new one day obsolete world tomorrow. If you cannot follow simple directions & then complain, you are the problem. Sean the owner is direct and isn’t a pushover as today’s Social Media crazed customers push the limits with one sided accusations & threats.Small business owners don’t have the time for this. Go to a Big Box store and pull your nonsense there in a corporate environment where your nonsense may pay off for you.I do not require business owners to walk on eggshells for my business or beg me for it as todays customers seek this out.Be nice & you get it in return.

I had my 2012 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Windows tinted by SoundWorks Kustomz. They did a superior job and met all my expectations. From the moment I walked in the door until the moment I drove away in my Jeep, I felt welcome and appreciated as a customer. I was so impressed with their service, that I returned a week later to have them install my Xenon Fender Flares. And again they did a superior job, so much so that I returned a few days later to have them install my amp and sub-woofer. This company is now my new go to source for all my custom Jeep part installations. Highly recommended.

Sean, Kaitlin, and EggRoll have been doing work on my cars for years, Sean is very knowledgeable and knows what he’s doing. They did the audio in my 2017 ss camaro, wheels/tires and interior in my Yukon and audio in my 2000 ss camaro my dad and one of my brothers brings their vehicles there as well point blank they know what they are doing!!!

A total rip off dont waist your time Sean is dishonest and a total hot head he should not be dealing with the public screaming at me after I spent almost a grand he treated me like dirt I simply and had a question his employees had to actually physically pull him back away from me he is so rude, bad language and unprofessional my advise is to stay away.

Sean, the owner, is a keeping it real kind a guy. He asks how he can help you, analyzes your vehicle and creates a plan to give you what you want. No overselling. This was my 3rd trip for services over an eighteen month span. After finding out that I drove 90 minutes to his shop, he asked me why? So I mentioned that a year ago after wanting ceramic tints on my new car, I had stopped by and he had refused to use the tail end of the ceramic tint roll on my vehicle. He had mentioned that in his past experiences a tint job wouldnt come out as nice as if a fresh new roll was used. He recommended that I wait for the new fresh roll arriving the next day. I was frustrated about making another 3 hour roundtrip. I was very pleased and impressed that Sean took such great pride in his work. I did return the next day and the tint job was awesome.This time I brought a newly purchased truck for removal of poor quality tint that came with the vehicle in exchange for ceramic tints. The tint job came out beautiful. Also, I wanted a radio system upgrade from OEM stereo. Sean asked me what kind of sound I was after and he reviewed the current system. He insisted that I keep the original head (see no upsell) and just upgrade all the speakers and add an amplifier. The system sounds great. Sean mentioned that he can always adjust and improve the sound by adding a subwoofer and a larger amplifier in the future. I appreciate Sean and his staffs excellent customer service, honesty, craftsmanship and fair prices.

Ordered wheels off them a few months ago and just got around to putting them on. Come to find out one of the wheels is bad from factory so I called them and they told me they couldn’t help me out because it’s been so long, I then called the manufacturer and they said of course I can get a new one because manufacturer defects happen all the time. So I called Soundworkz to get a copy of my receipt because I never got one in the first place and they then told me they won’t give me one to have my wheel replaced. Not to mention the lady that answered the phone has a complete attitude. Won’t ever do business with them again

Went in for a quote a while back and I over heard the guy say let me go see what this boy wants. Im 28 yr old African American, 510 at 186. Definitely dont look like a boy lol.. upon having a convo with the employee he was sarcastic and hard to talk to. An older guy maybe 50 to 55 came in with a complaint and I literally watched the employee curse out and threaten the old man for no apparent reason. Im a professional so I just left.. I already knew what was up

**BUYER/PURCHASER BEWARE** 6 months ago I went to this shop for a complete window tint, so They told me that they were going to tint the windows on my Alpina so they kept it overnight. They called the next day and said they were finished. As to my surprise when I got there not 1 window was tinted, so I said you said it was finished?! I got an attitude from the lady at the desk who happens to be the owners wife so he came out and said they just couldnt do my car.After assuming Im getting out of a bad deal early I decided to leave so as I entered my car I noticed that they scraped the bottom of my $100k car with the bright yellow speed bump they have. So it all made sense to me why it wasnt finished BECAUSE THEY DIDNT WANT ME TO NOTICE THEY DAMAGED MY CAR SO THEY ASSUMED ID JUST LEAVE.IF YOU HAVE A SPORTS CAR OR LUXURY CAR THAT RIDES A LITTLE LOW, CHECK YOUR VEHICLE BEFORE LEAVING THE PROPERTYThey refuse MD to fix it denying they did anything wrong although my car is literally spotless and the bright yellow paint was still on my car along with the scraped off paint.

My experience with these guys has never been anything but top notch. I went back in today for a warranty issue. Sean stopped what he was doing and corrected my problem at no charge. I suggest these guys if you are wanting anything electronic changed in your car without having to worry about quality or warranty follow up. Great Job

More expensive than most places. Work is no better maybe worse. Does not stand behind warranty and then accuses you of wrong doings. Likes to try and play mind games and act like a tough guy. Customer service and general niceness is a disgrace to behold. Surprised someone hasnt delivered a knuckle sandwich to him yet. I came close.

Sub standard is a complement at this place and unsatisfactory is not strong enough. Customer service and honesty is not in there vocabulary. I was quoted one price by the owner pretending to be a manager but then when I got my bill it went up almost 20 %. it was a total bait and switch. Vehicle sub-stained numerous knife cuts and scratches and dirt and debris was in-bedded in the work.DO NOT CONSIDER HAVING ANY WORK DONE HERE. !!!

I have taken several of my vehicles to sound works for multiple things, including stereo, lift kit, and for other accesories.Never once have I ever had a problem! They were absolutely fantastic, they have always made me feel like family and always get the job done, and done well.

I have had multiple vehicles all built by soundworkz ranging from an Audi A4 , BMW , Custom Power Stoke would never go anywhere else but this last guys post about the receipt ? seriously if you go to Walmart and return something with a warranty they still want proof of purchase ? so how is that any different so honest opinion you may want to be more responsible as an adult and keep your paperwork not a stores responsibility ? I was even in the store and he continued to help you without a receipt somethings I guess are never good enough for people or your son he still helped and fixed everything for sirwouldnt go anywhere else call or come see them

By far the best! i took my 2015 Camaro for tint and they did Amazing job I was in and out in minutes .I wouldnt Take my car any where elses .That being said what ever you need take your car to them ,they do the best work hands down!

Turned out to be dishonest, rude, with terrible customer service after seeming friendly and knowledgable before they took my money. Wanted a stereo and backup camera installed and was told no problem. Returned to a larger bill than quoted and sub par installation. They will tell you anything to get your money and then tell you they cant remember everything they quote you. When I asked about the uninstalled parts and the unsatisfactory installation I was informed by the owner: Thats unfortunate for you, not for me. Dont make the same mistake that I did. Dont use SoundWorkz Kustomz!

Terrible customer service/work ethic here. i came in last week with a headlight out and the sweet woman ordered me a new one to be there the next day, took our 80$ deposit and made an appointment with them for the next day i had off. called to confirm the next day delivery but the owner said it had been delayed via the shippers. came in on appointed day to have headlight fixed and the staff had no idea what i was talking about or where the part needed was. they were more concerned with eating their pizza than helping me, a paying customer. then when questioned about why the owner (Shaun) had said it was ordered, he threw his hands up in the air and passive aggressively said well its not here, so i dont know what you want me to do i asked to have another order and he came out to check on the car. upon glancing at it, still with the slice of greasy pineapple and ham pizza in his gullet, he spat out the claim that he couldnt do it, (with likely a chunk or two of the horrible pizza combination at me) and his response of nah. mind you, he wasnt talking to me, he refused to, he only spoke to his cohort. he then told his lackey to give me back my refund and upon asking where else i could get it done he said i dunno, fort myers or something and resumed shoveling cheese covered unnaturalness down his throat. the only redeeming quality of this entirely unprofessional scam shop was his readiness to give me back my deposit and get me out of his hair (or lack thereof). never again will i return to soundworkz kustomz unless i want to pay and wait to have them either never order the part or lose it when it gets there.

The customer service is terrible. You walk in and the guy working the front desk is rude and is terrible at helping you out. He was asking me questions acting like Im supposed to know them about my sub. But from the very beginning I told the dumbass Im here to get help.

Absolutely horrible customer service. I had a problem with my subs and it turned out to be a broken box (that was installed, and was a product of SoundWorkz). I went in the day before they repaired there mistake and I did not have the hand written receipt, that is not documented in a computer only hand written copies, and he said that it is the customers responsibility to keep possession of it. All Memphis brand product that is sold through SoundWorkz is warrantied, but when you buy it they do not tell you that you must keep the receipt in order the replace the product. So when they day came to get there mistake fixed I asked if they could give me a form that states that all work and products are from SoundWorkz they said there is no way because it is the customers responsibility to keep a small slip of paper. Also the owner who is the only person I conversed with tried to support his claim that it is the customers responsibility to keep the receipt by grabbing a stack of invoices that were from the prior week, even though they may have been from the last few months because I would have had no idea, and proceeded to tell me that he would have to go to his accountants house and dig through piles of recipts to locate mine.They will put on a facade of honesty and humility when purchasing the product at hand but they are only there to exploit the consumer.Do not buy from SoundWorkz they are a business of sly and poor business practices.
