We walked in wanting 3 hair cuts and walked out with 2 cuts after a rude stylist shamed my 5 year old son for his fears of getting is hair cut.The many signs stating behavioral rules and standards for children is super helpful. What also should be added is wording stating that a child with insecurities about getting their hair cut (like many young children are) should not plan to go with their dad or older brother to this establishment.The shaming by the stylist happened when her first response to seeing my child nervous about getting his hair cut was “should I get my next customer in my chair.” It took her less than 60 seconds to decide she did not want to cater to her current customer in any way. She was further unfriendly in her demeanor, and then made this statement to further clarify her disdain for her current situation: “He will have to sit still for a hair cut.” (Duh!) She was wildly unfriendly, unhelpful and flat out rude.This is not a place we will be coming back to if other options are available. In fact, the only reason we came here today is the other barber shops are closed due to staffing issues.

Man shop has really stepped up their game lately. They have a lot of barbers I can trust and my son and I rarely have to worry about anything. We go there every 3 weeks!

My husband hasnt made it in yet, but kudos to the young lady who helped me over the phone and gave me some awesome customer service and answered all of my ridiculous questions!

Haircut was great, but the staff was doing the absolute bare minimum to be COVID-compliant. They were all wearing these odd clear half-masks with almost 2 inches of space between the plastic and their mouth/nose, which does absolutely nothing to protect from an airborne virus. I was also asked to remove my mask for the haircut, which is understandable, however I would’ve felt way more comfortable if the staff were wearing adequate masks. I declined, so I had to hold the mask to my face with my hand for the duration of the haircut. Will not be returning until pandemic is over.

I love this place! Go in and ask for REBECCA! she will make you laugh and make the haircut go by so fast. After my first cut, I never had to remind her what I wanted she just knew exactly what I wanted. Her talent exceeds any barber Ive ever had and I know that Im gonna come out of it feeling fresh and satisfied.

Great place to go for a quick reliably average haircut! You dont have to make reservations which is nice, but you can call in to reserve a spot if you want. Giving 3 Stars because although its marketed as a barber shop in reality its a salon for men and the price reflects as much. Its $19 for a basic scissor trim. Very similar to a Sport Clips

Overall pretty good, they now require customer to wear masks, even during the hair cut, i think they do simple hair cutand shampoo only. The price is fair, at least i like it. I showed one of them a pic of what kind of easy style i want, and they made it for me, @$21@#-#.

My dad went there today, and I believe he said it was Rose, cut off all of his hair in the back. He had been growing it out for half a year and now it’s a buzz cut practically.

I have incredibly thick and course hair. On top of that I have a very particular head in that I have two cowlicks that are temperamental. I also have a style that I like my hair with a particular shape. My stylist at this place is able to get my hair 100% the way that I want it every time. Joseph (I think) is the best. Highly recommend this place. Ive spent a ton of money going to stylists that charge an arm and a leg, and the price here is very fair. Service is always great, even when there is a wait. They dont take appointments, so call ahead.

I have always gone to Becca. Becca is one of the funniest and best people you could get to know and she has been able to help me manage an unruly head of hair. I value that she bothers to remember her people. There are times in so specific in what i wanted and there are times where i had no idea but something needed to happen; Becca always killed it.If she has availability, book it. She won’t for long.

The Man Shop provides a welcoming environment and a great deal of customer service to its patrons. Everytime I go for my monthly cut I not only love the way my hair looks but I feel welcome in every sense of the word. I would highly recommend this place if youve got to get a cut down here in Pullman!

Do not go there if Rebecca is working. She gave me the worst cut you could ever think of. You might as well cut it yourself.

Rebecca helped me in deciding a beard style, then did the trimming and shaping to make it happen. I would highly recommend this place, and more specifically, Rebecca, if you need some beard maintenance! Will DEFINITELY be back!

This is a place that loves to give haircuts. I have never seen them turn anyone away. There are a lot if chairs to sit in, which is a good idea because at certain peak times the wait for one of their specialty as well as standard hair cuts can be quite high.

Im not a fan of the hyper-masculinity environment this chain offers and so Ive avoided the place for years. However, after disliking my hair cuts everywhere else I decided to give them a try.Ive now been going for over a year now and every time they do an excellent job so I keep going back.Highly recommend for a male haircut for an affordable price.

Best haircut I have had in years, also got the beard trim and hot towel. Stephanie is the gal to use, experienced and listens very well. I did call ahead to save time, but wished I had taken advantage of the pool table, basketball mini hoops or other fun things to do while waiting.

One of my friends earlier complained about a lady barber, that I actually got a haircut from a while ago and I wasn’t satisfied at all with that haircut, this lady barber didn’t give any time for my hair cut aswell.

They do a great job and the staff are really professional. Always pleased with my experience here. Pretty relaxed place to wait and the pool table & Foosball complete the deal. Reservations are definitely recommended, its a popular place. Call ahead and pick your times wisely, youll have no trouble getting in.

Incredibly rude. Ive never used their business, but myself and my husband certainly never will after our experience with someone coming out and screaming at us to not park in their lot. We parked at the very end of the lot where there were no signs visible and thought we would be sufficiently out of their customers way. As we walked away from our car someone came out swearing and yelling telling us it was a private lot. We didnt know, and happily would have moved our car if we were informed more politely.

One of the worse places in town. Its somewhere above Great Clips or Supercuts, but worse than anything else. They seem to have a really high turnover rate on employees and some are DEFINITELY worse than others. Ive gotten both decent and terrible haircuts here.

Do not bother calling to put your name on the list. They will tell you a wait time ( for us it was 20 mins). We showed up exactly 20 mins later. Well... an hour+ later, still waiting for his hair cut. They said, Sorry, Marcies system sucks (whomever Marcie is). So make sure you have nothing to do.

Even though “man” is in the name, they’re my go-to for my undercut maintenance. I always call ahead to get my name on the list and upon arrival they get me in and out with no time wasted. Also, they charge less than any other hair salons in town for what I need 💇🏼‍♀️

This place sucks. I felt like I was getting tortured the first time. Very rough and almost abusive. Jerking my head back. The second time it was great. Great cut and friendly. Went in for a third and the place was a mess. Time to look for another place. Never going back.

Haircut and barbers were good, but I didnt like the atmosphere.

I waited in the lobby for over an hour with my 3 kids trying to keep them contained. What happened? I stepped out for 10 minutes to make a business call because I run a business and while outside I watched them seat the person who was after me and in turn skipping my turn completely after waiting for an hour. I was right outside of there side window and was out in the open so everyone could see me outside. But instead of letting me know they were ready for me or even acknowledging I was on the phone, they completely ignored me and skipped my spot in line. I am extremely dissatisfied with their service today. I was a previous customer with a handful of visits, but now I will find a new barber.

Terrible skills, no skills at lining up people’s hair. The best thing about them is their pool table and TV but we don’t go there for that, we go there for haircuts.

Getting a haircut here is a bit of an ordeal for me; I do not appreciate the sexist atmosphere tailored to male clientele. However being new to the area and a student, Ive been struggling finding a place to get my hair cut. This is the only place Ive found thus far that gives a decent trim consistently for a cheap $13. Even so, I dont think I will be returning due to my last visit where a hair dresser (not the one attending to me) insinuated that I am part of the adult film industry. I choose to take it as a very crude joke from a single employee. However, that comment combined with the atmosphere makes me unlikely to return.

I only go to this show to get my hair cut, they specialize in mens hair and styles, they have a TV at every booth with what ever you want to watch, a pool table, and its a mans place to feel comfortable. I am always satisfied with my hair cut and I return every month.

Quick service and a funny name but thats about it. the stylists dont know how to cut modern male hair styles which they claim to be so good at. my advice would be only get the buzz cut

I loved my stylist but she moved away. I had mixed results with other stylists. That is just how it goes. Free pool is nice, and a hot towel shave is good.

Ive had my last two haircuts here and the end result is 5/5, but the overall experience is just okay. The stylist arent very talkative or helpful with style suggestions. The manly decor comes off as awkward and uncomfortable . But there are free games to play while waiting and its walking distance from WSU.

Usually paid around $18 for a haircut. Here, its super cheap for a $10 buzz cut, or $12 for a normal trim/haircut. Plus the atmosphere is great for us guys. Highly recommended.

They cut hair well and inexpensively. Usually busy - calling ahead helps. Dont expect hot babes in bikinis - just good haircuts.

Botched my layering bad... not symmetrical at all. Bangs too. Awful experience... have to wait until hair grows back... one side is a complete ruin - too much hair was taken off, when the other side layered nice on my cheekbones and bang is blended in... Brittany Houston - you dont know what a symmetry is and dare to show me your attitude when you botched my haircut to a point of no return. I gave you a $5 tip on a $20 haircut, plus some gifts (nice eye shadows and 2 face masks). You are not cool, girl...The next day I complained the management and Megan returned the cost of the haircut, agreed that my haircut is ruined and offered a free haircut by herself next time =)

Awesome bunch of ladies giving really good haircuts for a pretty fair price, rock music, you have the remote for your haircut TV, pool and retro games are in the waiting room. I recommend trying any of their straight razor shave services

Do not have a high expectation!!! If you can afford to pay more, please go somewhere else. Otherwise, they are not very bad to cut a hair for you at a reasonable price, with an okay attitude.

Ive been pretty satisfied when I go here. The lady gave me a haircut and it wasnt necessarily in the fashion that i wanted, so she told me to come back in in a few days to get my hair cut again for free. My hair usually looks great after i get it cut.

Terrible service. First time I got a stylist that was okay, she worked fast as if she wanted to get me out of the way but she was at least a bit friendly. Went there today and not only did the stylist cut me twice but she was rude before anything started. Communicating with her was like nothing I have experienced before, not only was she not capable of understanding what I wanted but she was rude about everything. Save your money and dont go here.

I would give a zero if I could. My boyfriend just came back from there and his neck has razor burns all over and he said the whole time the hair dresser was hurting him, like she has a heavy hand. We will never be going back there.

My boyfriend has loved going here beginning the first year we attended (2013) WSU. The cuts are right on point, stylists are upbeat/happy and the pricing is really fair and if you have to wait there is lots to do! Free pool, free arcade games, big screen TV in the lobby. Its an OK shop. If you call ahead and leave your name, you wont wait for long. However, you wont be satisfied every time. Like youd walk out satisfied one time, and disappointed a lot.

I called this place just to see if they do kids buzz cuts and they were so RUDE!As soon as I asked I was interrupted by a sharp snappy voice, if your kid is going to be screaming or crying we wont do it. Come on and try to muster up some kindness and respect people.

Do not be fooled: this is NOT a barber shop. Its more of a place where young bored men go to spot pretty girls and listen to loud, crappy music. Went there, the pretty but incompetent girl - and for some reason in a very bad mood that day - kept asking me how I would like my hairs cut. After telling her 10 times, I left the place. She didnt do a thing, I wasted 13$. It could have been worse...

For girls with undercuts!! I came in to get a very simple undercut touched up and a new design. The design was very simple, a triangle with some straight lines inside of it. I didnt do anything fancy. After having multiple people look at it and multiple pictures taken to see it from different angles, I could see that multiple parts had not been trimmed down (so 1/4 of it was still longer than the rest), the lines were not straight, and the entire design looked like a mess. When I first got my undercut back in my home town, they recommended that I go to a barber shop to get it touched up, and this is where a lot of my military friends would go. But I will not be returning. If someone cannot do an undercut, dont say you can then mess up someones hair and charge them for it.

Last time ever coming here. I was told 20 min wait, been waiting an hour while they take breaks and work incredibly slow. This is ridiculous.

Theyre mainly under trained, over worked and under staffed. Id forget to trim around someones ears too if I had 30 cuts to do in a day. Just dont waste your time and go to an actual barber shop the first time so you dont have to pay to fix it later.

The place is cool, but the people are rude. I have never had my hair cut by someone so unfriendly. I would not recommend it. Also, a cheap hair cut is $17

This place used to be alright. Now they are terrible. Wait times are excruciatingly long, haircuts are sub par, prices went up, services have been cut. They are doing everything you shouldnt do when running a business.
