Were only three other persons in the waiting area. Service was quick and easy for me. They have a spot to sit and copy and fill out forms so you can return them a.s.a.p. within 2 days I recieved and answer from intake. But all in all we still have to wait, being our fault or theirs. This is take time as usual.

Lady at the first window told me I was wrong contrary to the lady at the first window on my visit the time before... Tried to explain to her what the previous lady and I had accomplished before then she insisted we were both wrong. She didnt try to hear me out. Surprisingly her method was completely way off and accomplished nothing but wasting both our time.

I actually used to like this place. Would be busy most of the time but with so many people in pueblo needing help, what else do you expect. They seemed really kind though and seemed to get things done quickly as possible. Sometimes a little too nice. There was a time I didn’t want food stamps anymore cause I had plenty of food and they insisted I just stock up on food and wouldn’t cancel it. I’m also now learning that the employees may have entered my paperwork wrong and told me the wrong information about my income and a man today implied I would have to pay them back if that’s the case?? So if THEY make a mistake and if you spend your food stamps not knowing that, they will make you pay for it. instead of taking responsibilities for themselves, they will make you suffer the consequences of their ignorance and negligence

Not too bad nice and helpful staff every once in a while you go in there and have to deal with a security guard thats all up in your grill asking if he can help you being nosy about your business and telling you how to use the kiosk but other than that its aight

They really do care about you as a person, and work very hard to help. They do their best too provided all individuals with what services that the government will allow them. I know of one case worker who has over a hundred cases a week by herself. Denise Luther thank you for all you do for us the chronic and critical people who wont make it. Wow. First time going there. Not impressed at all. Google maps was not correct when trying to find to start with. But not included in my review.Got to location and had to enter through a ticket gate. Found a tight parking spot and made it through front door. Walked past the office we were hunting for and on duty guard instructed we walk past entrance door. Wasnt really that big of sign telling us what was there.Upon entering a long line I actually had to ask where my department was and was given directions by a person in line. Made it to our office that has arrows on wall pointing to our location. Glad I can read minds or braille. Anyway second in line and fast service .The lady at window was nice and informative. No I wouldnt go back but if you have to be prepared. Please dont judge the people in line. We all can use a hand up in life.

3 Hours Transfering between This Office , Colorado Medicaid , and Connect For Health Colorado. This is absolutely ridiculous. They asked my Name , DOB, SSN, Address and then immediately Transferred to to another Office. Who then asked the same questions and transferred me back.All i was trying to do is Prove my Income and Pregnancy with the Office so i can have my medical. No help , Rude Service, and Short answers consisting of I cant help you ill transfer you

Ive been twice in the last week. The 1st visit, I was only in line about 10 minutes, the lady at the window was nice and as helpful as she could or would be. It was last Friday about 4:15, so I didnt really expect too much considering it was almost time to close and the weekend. My second visit was about 8:30am, wasnt in line but for a couple minutes and the lady at the window was very helpful. She took her time in assisting me to make sure I had all my documents and made sure that the papers she faxed for me went thru. She was considerate and professional.

We had a scheduled appointment with Rachel in the social services Department made by her. In the letter they said we had to show up or lose our benifets. It was for 2.15pm on 01.08.20. We were 15 min early and waited an hour and a half and she never showed. We ended up having to reschedule with out being given any explanation or apology. Lazy people who just dont care about the disabled in our community

Put down the phone and go down there! If you dont want to wait in line fill out an application drop it in the box outside and they will call you! In just a couple days i had approval for stamps and medicaid and was there less than a half hour each time. They do good work! They are very busy!

Its been over a month since putting in my application for food stamps. When they ask for something it takes them a week or more just to get to it. This place is a joke. If I had lied and said Id never had a case before Id probably be eating right now. This is the only state that I know of that takes more than a couple days to get a case going. Dont bother e-mailing anything to the address on the business card, the e-mail address is like a trash dump. It seems like all they want to do is dump you off on the next guy and play pass the blame. If your hungry hit up the food banks and churches, this place is a waste of time.

Theyre always behind on cases, never can answer questions.. Its like none of their techs get any training for the job OR in customer service.. Tell you to email questions... No answers.. Then you wait on the phone for 1.5 hours and no one can tell you when your case that was just a recert that was sent in on January 18th will be approved and its now February 3rd..

While having to jump thru multiple hoops for assistance for my family during a transition period, I am once again headed back to this office. One month we have food assistance and medical and the next month they stop without notice, without explanation or without a written letter detailing any changes. I am a white 48 year old educated citizen of Colorado and a natural born US citizen. I will review again after I leave their office this morning.

Offer no help at all, on the phone waiting for a caseworker for almost an hour and then they hung up. You get the run around constantly. Attempted to assist a client filling out paperwork, called for guidance and it was useless

There is literally no way to talk to an employee unless you want to stand in line for an hour.. in trinidad they have actual legit interviews, they call you, they email you. Can someone please explain why the call center workers do not know anything about the Family Center on Desert Flower. They will not answer questions. They are rude. To top it off WHY DOES A CALL CENTER WORKER HAVE A DOG BARKING IN THE BACKGROUND AS WELL AS TV? Why do the workers not have to give their name? Why do they not have to give their ID of any kind?Calling the Senators office and launching a complaint. I recommend EVERY do the same and lets flood them with complaints in Denver, hopefully they will clear out these offices and bring us motivated, kind, polite, respectful workers to replace these absolute disgraces.

I was on hold for 2HOURS! Just when I thought they answered, they hung up on me! They have our paper work messed up and have my husband as working 4 jobs [two of them at the same place(?????)] So they have taken my daughters insurance away! Not mine, not my husbands, but MY 2 YEAR OLD DAUGHTERS! Im trying to figure out where I can put a complaint in for this branch. This is unacceptable.

I cant get a job i have a family of 9 and i have to beg for money to get food for them I received my letters for the classes a month late (i check the mail everyday) ive been having medical problems and Medicaid is helping but for food foodstamps refuses to listen they said they will figure things out for me to have my food stamps that was back in February. -Courtney Newton

Whoever is in charge of client services should be fired at once. I have been trying for a week to resolve a screw-up with my old age pension, and have been shuttled from one gum-snapping airhead to another. I tried to call all morning on 8/5..the person responsible for answering the phone had their extension forwarded to the welcome message to the voice mail tree, resulting in callers being unable to reach a human being. Inexcusable!!!!!!Wish the reviews had negative numbers :{

The Pueblo County Social Services Dep. will try their best to make sure you do not get the help you need!Was juggled from department to department trying to fix my healthcare coverage. After missing open enrollment I was told I would be receiving a call from a technician to clear up my problems. Two weeks later I received a call from the technician(Sarah) explaining to me that should could not help me because I had moved and would instead have to go another office in my current county.Very dissatisfied, I had originally thought individuals who worked in Social Services, actually cared to help people with their problems.. Guess again.Would give this place less stars if it was possible.

Horrible!! Caseworkers dont call you back. I have 2 cases in Pueblo and my bfs ex works there, and THEY have an OPEN child support case and she works for child support.And the ex still works there!?!? Isnt this conflict of interest? We have tried calling to get our cases moved, and we cant even get a call back. When my bf went into Pueblo child support to complain on his ex working there. They do nothing!!!!!!!! Im so fed up with this place. Im gonna be calling the news to look into all of this. Im tired of Pueblo Child Suppirt screwing US over .

Waited over an hour on hold to talk to an actual person. The person could not help me, then put me on to another person. That person did not answer so I left a long message. That person after 10 business days has yet to contact me back. And another thing, why would they think any sane person would leave their social security number on an an awering machine?
