DJ is an excellent guide. He knows the lakes and he knows how to get you on the fish. He was awesome about getting us on fish and listening to us about how we wanted to fish. We are experienced fisherman and he allowed us to fish once he got us on them. I highly recommend using DJ if you want to have an excellent experience.

I contacted DJ and booked a day trip for pike as there are no pike in Idaho where I’m from. My brother in law and myself met up with Dj at Spinney Reservoir. This was hands down the most outstanding experience ive ever had while fishing! DJ was an amazing person and absolutely filled with experience. He helped me catch 3 of the bighest fish ive ever caught in my life!!! Ill definately be coming back. 10 out of 10 100% worth it.

My family and I took a trip out to Spinney with DJ recently and we had the time of our lives. DJ made sure everyone was comfortable and the guy just flat-out gets it done. What I like most about him is his passion for his craft. There is no doubt in my mind that DJ will do everything in his power to ensure that you are catching fish. I never thought I would meet a guide that would be more excited than I was when I caught a fish! I went out on a four hour morning trip with my wife and two kids (6&8). We caught 5 nice Northern Pike and eight cutbows... two of which were 24 inches and the female was 6.5 pounds! DJ is the ONLY guide I will use @ Spinney or anywhere else he fishes. My whole family loved DJ.....go with this guy and you wont be disappointed. I was hesitant to write this review because I want to make sure he is available when I book my upcoming fishing trips. Had an epic fishing day with DJ. He put us on the trout all day long (we caught our limit) and then topped it all off with a nice pike to end the day! DJ was amazing with my 9 year old son who had a ball, and he explained what he was doing every step of the way. Fantastic guide who delivered a great fishing experience for my entire family. We had a great time with DJ! He was all about making sure we were enjoying ourselves the whole time and catching fish. This guy knows what he is doing and he was able to put us right on the fish. We used his services for Lake Pueblo on this trip, and plan on using his services again in the near future.

Having DJ as our guide was a great experience from beginning to end. DJ is very personable and knowledgable about fishing! Even though the weather was cold and the conditions werent exactly ideal, DJ not only put us on some fish, but helped me land a 43+ inch trophy pike!!
