Poor service and response. Staff were rude and lacked professionalism. No one would contact me regarding service to get microwave replaced and I had to keep calling in. Now Im having an issue getting replacement ordered.

I have been a life long Sears customer and my recent experience has left me completely frustrated. It took three months for my washer to get repaired and the NO CALL NO SHOW appointments that has now caused me to no longer recommend Sears or Sears home warranty to friends and family.The call center/ chat center was absolutely no help and all! all they provided me was lip service and multiple apologies! I will take my future appliance business elsewhere! Anywhere but sears!!!

I used this service to attemp to repair a washer but when I was waiting for parts, I was never told one of the parts was unavailable and that they did not know when that part woukd come in. When I cancelled the repair and attempted to get a refund, they stated they needed to get that parts back. I coild just go to the store to drop them off and that UPS had to pick them up. It took 2 weeks for them to responde stating that I could just drop it off at IPS. It tool an additional month and a half to get my refund. Do not use them unless you like to be hassled.

UPDATE:::::: No one showed up at 6, no phone call. And they texted us saying that our appointment is rescheduled to Feb. 8th without asking if that would even work for us. So I guess I’ll be hand washing out clothes for another week.This was the most absolute garbage experience I’ve ever had. My washing machine has been broken for going on three weeks now. We called and were told that our appointment would be January 21st between 1pm-5pm.No one showed up.So I called them and asked what what going on and basically 2 phone calls later, they rescheduled my appointment for today, the 25th between 1pm-5pm.Again. No one showed up.I called again and asked why this was the second appointment no one showed up for.Then the guy one the phone tells me that the technician would be here at 6. But we were told that if the technician ended up being delayed, they would contact us. Which is stated in their automated messages confirming the appointment.He then told me that he would arrange a phone call from the technician that is supposedly supposed to be here at 6pm.We’ve spoken to 6 different people trying to resolve this issue with ZERO answers.I just don’t understand how this is the second appointment we’ve made and no one has shown up or contacted us saying that they couldn’t either time.

Awful service changed appointment 3 times now. Definitely do not recommend. DO NOT GO THRU THEM FOR ANYTHING. No wonder they’ve filed bankruptcy before. Lol. Even the guy on the phone told me to “call another dumb dumb” implying they are as dumb as I thought. Sears is worthless.

Technician was great. The machine was limping along before the board was replaced. Now it errors before the spin cycle and turns off with the error code every 30 seconds. Cant get the water out of the clothes enough to even hang up to dry.... dont know what I am supposed to do for laundry now. Laundromat is not an option due to current world conditions. Im so frustrated. 2-3 weeks before I get a solution. 7th service call.

The service techs were polite. No complaint about them. My complaint is that they tried charging me $440 to replace the control board on my dishwasher. I ended up finding and buying one for $130 shipped. Installed it and it didnt fix the problem.Price gouging from this place is ridiculous.

I called on a Thursday night about me dryer not working. They told me that the next available time for someone to come fix my dryer would be Monday. The next day, the repair man gives me a call and comes fix my dryer. He had caught up with all his appointments and was starting on the ones for Monday. He figured out what the issue was fairly quick and fixed the dryer. My dryer now works better than it did when I first got it. He was also very friendly and helpful. My overall experience was really great!

Jeremy, the service man was wonderful. He arrived on time, called to say when he would be there, and did a good and efficient job. It was frustrating that it took 3 trips to repair my washer. Each time he had to order a part and then wait a week for it to arrive. And then, when he replaced the timer, it immediately quit again. It works fine now and he explained what he found that was wrong eventually - a wire that was loose on the motor and apparently shorting out the timer. By the time we finished, there was enough spent on parts and service calls to have replaced the machine a couple of times. Glad I have a service contract on it.My biggest complaint was with the people in your office that I had to talk to. They spoke such poor English that I had a terrible time understanding them and the first one kept telling me to check the breaker although we had checked the outlet and knew it was not blown.The other problem was that I kept getting voice mail notices that I must reschedule the appointment when I had already confirmed it and told your people that the parts had arrived. The first time I panicked, after than I just ignored them but it was annoying.I am not giving you 5 stars but Jeremy certainly should receive that rating for his part of the process.

Thanks to Matt, the technician all went very well. It took two trips. The first trip to examine my Riding Lawnmower. Then Matt decided the problem was the carburetor. So Matt ordered a new unit and had it shipped direct to my home. Then when Matt showed up for the second trip he installed the new unit. All went well. The mower started up immediately. That made me very happy. Thanks Matt for your work. Me and my mower...On The Road Again. That would make a great title for a song! :)

The scheduling group was able to get me an appointment the very day I called! The technician was very nice and willing to explain the what and why of the repair. Even when he found out he didnt have the right part, he cheerfully went out for the part and returned very quickly. Very happy with everything.

I like dealing with Sears. Thats why I only buy appliances through Sears, for the service contract. The service people are very knowledgeable. I would like to see a faster response time. It takes weeks to get someone at my house. That should be improved upon. Im quite concerned about the possibility that Sears may go out of business. I do hear, however, that the service people will not stop though. I like doing business with Sears, for appliances. They are honest and reliable.

First appointment was scheduled within a few days. That visit identified the problem, ordered a part, and rescheduled the repair. 8 days later another technician arrived to install the part, but that part was found not to be the faulty item. Another part was ordered and again, the repair was rescheduled. The following week (another 8 days) the repair was effected and the microwave is now working - good to have it back in service! We are glad to have the Service Protection Agreement as the parts and the 3 technician calls were all at no charge to us.

The repair tech went out of his way to make repairs. Due to the parts ordering system, discrepancies occurred in selecting the correct parts for the repair. We had three or four repair appointments before getting resolution, resulting from techs orders not corresponding to parts shipped.Technician was professional, polite and considerate of our concerns and needs.

I would not buy another Sears warranty and I question the quality of there Snow Throwers. My biggest problem was trying to get service. It took me 3 months to get my Snow Thrower serviced under a warranty I purchased. I had about 5 hours of phone calls, talked to 10 different people and suffered an untold amount of frustration. I truly dislike putting this online but no one from Sears has paid any attention to my dissatisfaction, even when they sent a survey about there service, where I expressed to them my frustration, they have not responded back. If you buy their product I would think twice about buying any warranty, but then again if it has to be worked on maybe you should think twice about buying their product.

With parts and labor I have spent close to $500 and ice maker still does not work properly. I called Sears because technician from A&E would not return my calls to schedule a time for follow up. A&E however on their behalf did show up unannounced, but no one was home. Use the the sheduling service Sears provides if your availability is limited will save you headache. All parts and labor are under warranty for ninety days. So hopefully Sears makes this right???

The young man who fixed my refrigerator was top of the line. He was friendly, competent and knew right away what the problem was. Although I have had problems with Sears Appliance Repair in the past this visit renewed my faith in the company, I appreciate the repair service I received from Sears. I am saving the information on this particular Sears repair man and will ask for him in the future.

Serviceman never even slid the washer out. He opened the door and spun the tub and shook it and said it was fine. Then he said the 20% off coupon did not apply. $85 dollars for nothing. Worst repairman ever. Did nothing in my estimation.

I didnt have a repair. I bought the warranty on a refrigerator and needed a new filter and wanted to get my 25% discount that I was told I would get if I bought the extended warranty. So I was told I had to go through the service dept. Then, after telling that service rep everything about name, address, etc. I had to call another place, told them the same thing, was transferred and for the third time had to state why I was calling. It really wasnt worth the $12 I finally got back. I will never buy another extended warranty again because its way too difficult to get the discount I was told Id get.

My first refrigerator repair was scheduled for MAY 25. Although I received a confirmation, the repair technician was a no show. Supposedly my appointment had been cancelled, although not by me. Rescheduling was an extremely frustrating experience. I was told no one would be in my area for months, or not at all, or would finally get rescheduled only to be postponed -- three times. I do not blame the technician. He is the only tech covering about a 1600 square mile radius. He also has a hugely frustrating relationship with Sears and their lack of communication and understanding of our rural circumstances. He finally made it out to diagnose the problem on SEPT 7th. He had to order a part which arrived at my house about a week later, but he wasnt able to get back to make the repair until SEPT 28th. I will never bother purchasing a protection agreement plan again. I would tell anyone else who lives in a rural area not to bother either. They will discriminate against you because of where you live. Their reassurance that I would be taken care of regardless of how far from town I lived was why we have been Sears customers for 25 years, but that will no longer influence our future buying decisions.

The repairman arrived after the agreed time, but his service was above and beyond. Not only did he make the leaking repair to our refrigerator, but he contacted Sears about the damaged flooring from the leak (we have a 3 year warranty program) and had to stay on the phone for awhile waiting to speak to various people. He filled out the paperwork and gave me additional claim information numbers to give to the claim representatives who would later call me. They called me the next day, asked me to email photos of the damage, which I did, though I have not had any response, and I am now waiting for 2 flooring companies to give me estimates for repair. Thank you, Sears. I am glad I added the 3-year warranty to the cost of my French Door Refrigerator.

Was not happy with this experience. Tecnician was rude and and discredited everything the previous tecnician told us(previous tech was very polite and knoweledgable). This is the 3rd time they came out to repair our icemaker and it still isnt working-this is most likely a design flaw and not the technicians fault. Regardless, this last tech is not welcome at our house.

One star given only because I had to give one in order to write a rating. I paid sears $80 to come out and they repaired NOTHING. The technician looked at my dryer and told me what wasnt wrong with it and all of the parts that were working. He then went on to give me a list of other problems that could be the problem but told me he wasnt able to check them or fix the dryer but that I still needed to pay him.

The actual repair appt went well. The tech was friendly, effective, on time. He called ahead and did a good job.The frustrations were before. It took 3 attempts to even get to an agent, long waits getting through the pre-recorded messages. Then the scheduled appt was canceled in the last minute because the tech had called in sick. One would understand needing to reschedule if dealing with a small dealer who has only one or two techs, but this is the big Sears! Youd think theyd have back up.... My pleas got me nowhere, had to wait till the following week for a second attempt and this one worked.
