SmartyStreets is an outstanding service. Ive been put in charge of cleaning up a small contact list after years of neglect. Since the list was only 10k in size I was able to clean up most address errors within a couple months. The detail that is available on any report is amazing and extremely useful. I was able to correct street spelling errors, update all my zips to +4, and fix non-deliverable addresses which will save me money in returns and re-sending.Whether you have a small project or huge database needing automated updates, I highly recommend SmartyStreets and their friendly staff.

GREAT customer service! Weve been using them for years. I recently asked for a refund for last months fees (for seasonal reasons only). We have been using Smarty Street for around 6 months now. We are a startup and we have a need to validate the address that we need to store in the system. Smarty street API has been a delight to work with and working have been really smooth.

The API is good but there are some issues where in a few of the addresses dont get validated. Also the auto fill functionality does not work correctly. It never fills the address field. Please rectify this.

We switched to SmartyStreets cloud service a year ago. The address service has been flawless, their subscription model is easy to self-administer, their website is intuitive (and entertaining). The few times we contacted customer support, theyve been quick to respond, and do whats right for the customer. For the previous 4 years wed been using another vendors on-prem package. Besides the $ savings, going w/ SmartyStreets & cloud service, we’ll probably save another 20 or so hours/year on system admin (installing updates 6x/year, license key 1x/year, & geocode data 1xyear) and then troubleshooting the occasional issues. Since switching to SmartyStreets, weve had zero technical or availability issues.

While working on my thesis, I had to convert over 80000 street addresses to their respective lat, longs and contacted SmartyStreets for the same. They were very generous and were able to let me access the API for free for my Masters Research. They have a really amazing set of tools and SmartyStreets is willing to support research and development projects within no time. Kudos to the team. Salut.

Unfortunately my boss decided not to go with the SmartyStreets address verification APIs but my interaction with them as a company and their APIs were by far the best.I found their ui presentation more customizable than the other options I evaluated and documentation much more in depth. Their customer support was responsive, honest and helpful when I accidentally upgraded my account to a paid version with no way to back out. Theyre working on that however so it shouldnt be a problem for much longer.

We are a nonprofit and used smartystreets to verify address when inviting guest to fundraising events, thank you notes for donations, large mailings in general and found it very helpful.

Great service so far, augmenting what were doing with Google Maps API and Smarty Streets is finding things we didnt expect.

Fantabulous excellentious! Seriously though, been developing for 20+ years and to me the docs and examples are great. The key to a good API is to allow the developer to not spend 3 days of learning. Took me an hour and up and running.

It really was *ridiculously* easy to use SmartStreets. I had a long list of addresses without zip codes and their web page allowed me to quickly copy/paste my excel sheet into it and get the zip codes I needed. They also support an API for scripting but I didnt have to use it since their Web UI was so effective already.

SmartyStreet is a remarkable company with a remarkable team of people behind it, and an equally remarkable product. Weve integrated SmartyStreet API to validate addresses with ease. The depth of their API is spectacular, and so was the support from the entire team. Also, of note to startups, they provide a free service for startups for a year, so you can get onboard without committing huge sums of money. And their ensuing pricing is better than any other company in this space. I highly recommend SmartyStreet to anyone needing domestic or international address validation.

So far it has worked fine, there are some limitations on the service but it is actually a limitation on our shopping cart provider
