My mom passed 2 weeks ago and we called Greener Pastures Funeral Home to oversee our funeral needs. Deacon Green, to his whole staff took great care of our mom. They comforted us and assured us that she would be handle with care. To be honest it was the best funeral experience that I have had thus far. I appreciate the love they showed to our family, from the viewing, to the funeral, and the burial. Simply outstanding. Thank you for all the care you took with our family it meant a lot during the loss of our love one.

We had a family loss last week, may I say that the end the entire staff was so very kind and understanding. In addition we celebrated the life of Mr. Ware, met at the reception hall after the funeral. The food that was prepared was amazing! Thank you to those family members who took the time to make it special. First class!!!!

They were very patient with all of my questions and uncertainties and did a WONDERFUL job of preparing her for viewing. From the early steps of planning to allowing us to have our service on Sunday to accommodate long distance immediate family members, this establishment is truly amazing. Despite Covid-19 restrictions, they were able to provide a full range of services into our program including live streaming which allowed us to include friends and family who could not be there in person. They made the process simple and easy for us and we very much appreciate it. My mother was also very pleased and surprised that they were able to include the military honors and committal into the service. This gave her the closure that she needed. Very nice people. The lady there handled my grieving mother with tender care🙏🙏🙏. All the funeral homes that I’ve been to the past few years at least have a place you can set up for coffee and donuts with actual coffee urns, not here. We have the $15 Wally World coffee pot with decaffeinated coffee. But for $300 extra dollars you can rent the even hall next door, if you don’t mind shuffling back and forth in the rain, cold or heat.As family began showing up our only option was to gather either in the chapel or on the beautiful front porch. There was no access to a parlor where we could gather (I was told this was due to COVID, but other funerals at other funeral homes in Ga that I have attended during COVID we had access to a parlor, where we could gather around our loved one).Again, the lady there who took care of my grieving mother was excellent with her, the presentation was good. But when my mother passes, I’ll go another way when it comes to funeral homes.

I had a service done for my Father about two years ago and now that i am recovering from it, I wanted to express how thankful i was they handled everything with respect, and addressed any concerns or request i had and made something that was painful much easier to deal with, i would highly recommend for services, and also because the communication and care went above and beyond what i expected and to this day i still have a very positive experience from this entire process.

Great job on the service but there was NO police escort for the 11.3 miles to the Cemetery. That puts family and friends that are at the end of the car line in jeopardy when moving through the intersections.

A wonderful environment to work in. Even though it’s a bit sensitive, I’ve enjoyed every moment of it. Working with families under sad circumstances is a tough goal to achieve but Dionne and Dwayne Green always reminds us to anticipate their (families) needs, show them we care too, and always wrap your arms around them and let them know we love not only them, but their loved ones as well. My wife and I experienced the upmost service from Greener Pastures in our time of sorrow. Mr. and Mrs. Green came highly recommended by our Sweet Home Baptist Church family and they met and exceeded all of our needs.

This facility is heaven sent, when I walked in I felt a sense of comfort,sat down and talked to them about having husbands sevice with them and I knew I was in the right place, everything was taken care of for me( programs,cd,nice video was made for family to watch doing wake ,whatever you could think about was done for me I didnt have to do anything, price for everything was very ,very reasonable,very caring staff , they accommodated about 150 people at my husbands service,I was very impressed,again The warmth of this place ,the warmth of the staff very impressive,if I ever had to do this again,without a doubt I would come here.
