Severely understaffed. Workers were great at their job, so not a knock on them at all, but they can only do so much when there are 2 of them working at a time. Company needs to either throttle back appointments or hire more staff
Not good. The receptionist had an attitude from the time I entered the office. She was rude and obnoxious.I won’t be going backI can’t recommend using the services of this location
I was in and out and felt very comfortable.
In and out no waiting.
I’ve used this lab numerous times for blood draws. I’ve never had an issue. When it comes to dropping off specimens for cultures/testing... The lab technicians RUINED my sample and rendered it useless. I’d have to start the whole process over again. After carefully making sure that I handled things properly and refrigerated it, (per initial lab technicians verbal instructions upon picking up the collection kit) they FROZE my sample when I got there.I’m waiting days for the results, I call my doctor. They call back and say they received a notice from LabCorp that the sample couldn’t be run because it was frozen. (No one even notified me of this until I brought it to their attention!) I tell them that’s impossible & call the lab site that I dropped the sample off at.I ask how could it be frozen if I refrigerated it and then waited in the waiting area for 25 minutes to drop it off. She says “that test sample needs to be frozen, we froze it” 😡 I tell her apparently NOT because the actual testing location refused to accept it because of that.I called LabCorp customer service to bring up the issue because this is inexcusable. I filed a complaint, was told I would be contacted by the supervisor of that location & Ive been waiting with no response.Going back and forth, taking time off of work to accommodate their hours isn’t something that anyone should have to keep doing because of poor communication and lack of protocol knowledge. Even if I submitted another sample, they’d freeze it because the technicians there are adamant that that’s how to store it. REVIEW YOUR PROTOCOL.I’m now going to have to undergo further travel to another LabCorp location because this is the only lab my insurance will accept. So much for the convenience of the one in my own neighborhood!
Good service but have fun getting a chance to experience it. The line takes forever. Seems like they are understaffed or they just don’t care enough to do their job right. If there was another place that accepted my insurance I would definitely go somewhere else.
I have called repeatedly and every time somebody answers and hangs up. Not the place to schedule bloodwork !
I was so happy with the service that I received. Such friendly and funny women. I came in with no appointment on a Saturday and the line was out the door. I was in and out in less than an hour. They helped other people. They laughed with clients and all around had a good experience.
Always so helpful and pleasant, they never seem under the gun and stressed even when you walk in and see a full waiting room! Such a pleasure to work with this location. Thank you all for getting blood work done a little better of an experience.
Rude technicians that dont speak or look at you; just call your name. Requests for needle size, deemed necessary by previous technicians are ignored. Left my wifes arm sore and bruised for over a week. Totally unnecessary. They hate their job and take it out on those that walk through the door. Too many other places close by to have to deal with this level of incompetency!
Very friendly and greeted me immediately. Very quick processing even though there where lots of people ahead of me. During the blood work, I experienced an unusual fainting spell but the entire staff was helpful in making sure I was alright and comfortable. Thank you to all the staff. Sorry for all the commotion this morning.
Hours are not updated on the website. I scheduled an appointment on my only day off, there was only one time available. The time was for 145pm, I signed up for it. Get all the way there sitting in the parking lot waiting for my text to come inside and never got a text. I go to walk inside and the door is locked with a typed note saying the office closes at 1pm now. Really inconvenient and huge disservice to your customer base. UPDATE YOUR WEBSITE!
The Pottstown technicians were the absolute best for our 2yo allergy blood draw. We’ve had bad experiences in the past at other places. This one could not have been easier and more pleasant. Thanks you so much to the crew at Labcorp in Pottstown!!
Absolutely outstanding service EVERY time ! Even on Easter Saturday! Checked in 10:28am when they closed @ 11 & done by 10:45 ! Top notch in every way 👍
I think the employees at this place need to take a class on how to deal with patients that have a fear of needles. They treatment that my wife received there was piss poor. If you cant give a patient at least a pleasant experience then maybe you should find a different career. Not very happy with the employees there. Put a smile on your face and say hello. Would it kill you to be kind? If not for my insurance changing, we would go back to QUEST
The Technician and people there were professional and the wait was short.
Friendly, professional, efficient staff. Great facility. Flexible hours. Top notch 👍!!
Fiancé on 11/28/18 has an appointment for a 3hr GTT test ... first thing the tech dose is hands her a bottle of glucose test drink 😳... sorry first you must draw blood to record a baseline reading... tech apologizes then suggests she come in tomorrow and redo the test after already drinking the glucose formula within 24 hours she would be sure to fail the test then ...... very poor preformance very poor advice I would think before using this ladcorp and trusting it with vital blood work ... there are other officers near by with 5 star reviews that do there jobs better
Went there a couple months back and will not return. Front desk lady had no idea how to input my insurance and called me back at least 5 times asking me questions. Finally get checked in and then while Im getting my blood drawn, I overhear employees gossiping about their coworker. Unprofessional.
This place is slow! Even though there were only 3 patients, they are unable to handle the work load. Having used this facility several times with the same 50 to 60 minutes wait. One time the wait was 1 hour and 10 minutes. They dont seem capable of processing more than one patient at a time. Long check in with an even longer wait for the blood draw. Id use another facility if one were available.
I normally don’t write reviews but I feel in this situation I need to, hopefully to improve their service. My experience wasn’t necessarily a bad one but one that could have been far better. Before I start to point out the negativesI just to say that the staff there were very friendly. I observed 4 women working casually conversing about normal things behind the office and I thought to myself “ this is great, they are well staffed, This shouldn’t take long”. From the moment I walked into the office until I left took approximately 50 mins! That was a bit frustrating considering I was the second person called in. The woman at the register desk was again friendly But seem distracted by her surroundings. The registration took longer than normal because she was constantly “looking around” and engaging in other conversations rather than focusing on the matter at hand. After I was registered, I was instructed to go to room one. Shortly after another woman came in and started to verify my information. Suddenly she stopped rapidly and said “I will be right back because theres someone ahead of you” and just walked out. I can make out that she went to the room next to me and apologized to the person waiting. She was done within minutes but then took a phone call. The phone call lasted quite some time but when it ended she continued to take several more calls. I remember thinking to myself was she the receptionist AND Phlebotomist??? I waited until she was done speaking then I walked to the registration desk where I found her sitting there and asked how much longer until she can get to me? She apologized and said she thought someone else was taking care of me. She processed to draw my blood and the whole procedure took less than 5 mins! With a little structure and focus this office can be improved.
I left this place not only extremely infuriated but completely upset. First we had an appointment scheduled for 1 o’clock & we didn’t get taken back until 1:45. The appointment was for my daughter who is a year old & when I had called the Lab ahead of time they said that all of their employees who will be taking blood are trained for pediatrics, which it was VERY clear to me that they did NOT know what they were doing for a small child! NONE of the women knew how to make my ONE year old daughter or I comfortable in the situation. They took blood from BOTH of my daughters arms; after 30 minutes of hearing my daughter screaming crying & after watching a woman move the needle all over the place (still in my child’s arm) I was completely upset & angry. The woman told us we would have to come back another day because they weren’t able to take enough blood. We got up & I told the woman we won’t be returning for another appointment, Maybe another place but NEVER AGAIN this location! On top of it not ONE of the women said they were sorry after everything! I left & I hope that no one with a small child; or anyone as a matter a fact goes to this Lab. My daughter is now extremely afraid of any adults (other than family) such as her doctor, nurses, physical therapist ever since this terrible experience at the blood lab.
Very friendly and acomidating staff. Wish they had a newspaper or magazine to read.
Horrible service... the receptionist was extremely rude and took over an hour just get back there.
