I needed a watchband on a new Bulova watch sized, and a small repair on another watch band and figured Id have to drop them off and return later. Nope. Veronica took care of business in less than 15 minutes flat, beautifully, and with attention to detail and fun humor as well. The price was low, and now...I wouldnt go anywhere else for a watch repair.

What cam I say aboit Pearl Watch repair? I had an awesome first time experience here at this establishment. I broke my watch band or rather bent a pain in the band. I dropped in with 20 minutes to close, this lady dropped everything and had my watch back to me in 10 minutes. As I was thanking her and pulling money out of my wallet, she didmt skip a beat and told me not charge. I told her I appreciate it, told her id feel better if she took 20 or 30.00 and she flat out refused it. Lol. Thank you so much for your quick service, I think your wonderful

I’ll never do business with anybody else! I’m not sure which to speak of first, how wonderful a personality Veronica is or the quality and affordability of the work she does. Personally, she is delightful, charming, kind, and generous with her time and expertise. She spent the better part of an hour teaching me things about my watches and watches in general and answered my many, many questions. She even gave me one of her spring bar tools since the one I had was of poor quality.After she calibrated the two vintage Citizen automatics I brought her, they are now running with a precision I didn’t think they were capable of. She also replaced bezels on both and placed one movement into a new case. I would have been pleased at twice the price, but the charge was only $90 for each, and the work she did was fairly involved and complex. If I moved to a different continent, she would still be the only person I did business with.I think you’ll find her technical skills coupled with her customer service will make you a loyal customer, too. This is how business should be done! A+++

I can’t say enough nice things about this place. The owner is a gem. The service and prices are both great. I brought in two very different watches with different issues and she fixed both perfectly while I waited. (There’s also a lovely plant store next door you can peruse while you wait.) My watch (a vintage Seiko) was resized exactly to my liking - 15. She replaced the battery on my partner’s old sport Timex, a laborious job due to the tensions of the internal mechanisms - 20. I had brought the wrong battery in, but she had the right battery in stock. She knows her stuff and is well equipped. I would happily recommend this place to friends and family.

I brought my Grandfathers pocket watch that I inherited after his passing a few weeks ago. Veronica was fantastic. She called me frequently during the repair and cleaning process to keep me up to date, which I greatly appreciated. I found out that my pocket watch was over 110 years old and made in Philadelphia from 1900 to 1909. I got the watch back today, clean, polished, and running perfectly. Absolutely worth the price. Fantastic service.

She fixed my grandmothers old watch in a timely manner and also offers a 1 year warranty on her work. Im very happy to have the watch functioning, but it turns out that the repair cost more than the watch is worth. I should have done my research prior.When I asked her how much the repair will likely cost, she said $70; this is what both my friend and I heard. However, when I went to pick the watch up, it ended up being $170. Quite a surprise, but she ensured me that thats what she had said.So, I feel a little duped and Im not sure if it was a fair price. I will be smarter next time and ask around for someone who might be clearer about the value of the watch in comparison to the cost of the work.

Veronica is super nice. However, I think watch repair is more of a hobby if not a light watch repair service. I brought in a Seiko watch to get the band repaired, crystal replaced and the second hand working as it was stuck and not moving.I texted Veronica, as she does, an approval for the quote she sent me over text. I did not hear back from Veronica for months until I paid a visit to see what had taken so long.The watch had not been repaired as promised with the exception the crystal had been replaced and looked great. The band was not fixed. (Links I had asked to be closed or tightened) Upon observing, the second hand jumped every two seconds. Veronica stated that the watch was solar powered and needed to charge. Interesting statement from someone who fixes watches. Its not an Eco Drive watch by Citizen. The watch is a Kinetic watch and not a solar powered watch. There is hammer that rotates and charges a capacitor.After a week or so the second hand is still jumping and the watch was not fixed. Seiko states this is because there is a problem with the capacitor or other issue with the internal components. Veronica did state this if the watch continued to jump.My problem is not Veronicas pleasant demeanor but her inability to communicate with me an accurate assessment of the watch and still charge me for the repair which was not complete as promised.Veronica probably is a good watch repair shop but for smaller, less complicated needs like polishing or changing a battery.

Do not trust your fine watches to this woman!! I inherited a rare 1962 vintage Rolex Explorer after my fathers passing and took it to Veronica to be serviced at Pearl Watch Repair. She kept it for a week and then returned it saying she had serviced it and that it was running perfectly (she claims to be a certified Rolex repair person). In the first 24hrs, the watch was losing considerable time...between 3-4mins. I monitored it for a week, and every morning I had to manually wind and adjust the time for considerable loss. I ended up taking the watch to a reputable and authorized Rolex dealer, and they confirmed that the watch was all over the place, and didnt appear to have been serviced at all recently (no recent case marks, and dusty components). I ended up having to send the watch to Rolex in TX to be properly serviced because even the gentleman watchmaker at the downtown Rolex dealer wasnt able to correct it properly, saying that it fluctuated from losing time and gaining time over the course of a few days regardless of his efforts.After receiving my watch back from Rolex (and a $1065 bill), the piece is keeping perfect time and is back in rotation. I returned to Pearl Watch Repair to ask Veronica to consider reversing the $650 fee she charged me for her work performed, and she immediately agreed and took all of my banking information (including photos of the receipts from Rolex and the dealer store downtown). She said that she stands by her work, and would reverse the charges the very following day...that was 2 weeks ago, and she just informed me yesterday (after not returning several of my polite inquiries) that she wouldnt be standing by her word or her work after all.Honesty and worth of ones word are precious commodities in life (not to mention, in business)...this woman seems to have neither :(

After finding out the watch shop we were going to was closed due to a power outage my boyfriend and I decided to come to Pearl Watch Repair where Veronica welcomed us with a warm smile! I brought in several watches for battery replacement along with my moms vintage watch to have a safety chain added. I dropped off the watches at about 5:00 p.m. and while at dinner I received a call from Veronica that the watches were ready! On my way home, I stopped by the shop that was now closed, but Veronica was still there and let me in. She patiently talked me through the value of my watches (who knew!) and even shortened the chain she installed on the vintage watch to ensure it didnt fall off my wrist! Veronica is a rockstar. Ive got a older 1960s circa Rolex watch. My father bought it in Europe and gave it to me before he died. This week, were expecting our first child to be born and I wanted a piece of him on my wrist for the delivery. Then: the watch band broke. Veronika had me back up with a replacement band in a few days along with a ton of information about how to navigate getting my older band fixed. Her kindness, patience, professionalism, smile and expertise are a huge boon to anyone who still loves the mastery of time pieces.

Owner is incredibly unorganized. Don’t take your stuff here unless you want to be waiting for ever, not be updated, and then given your items back still not fixed.

She didnt call when my watch was ready-she said she did, but I never got a message or saw a missed call. After I got the watch back, I found that it left scratches on my wrist, apparently she scuffed up sharp edges trying to pry the back off to change the battery. I had to file it down with a nail file. I had also asked her to take out a link on the band which she did, but now the band comes apart every few weeks, and I have to pop it all back together. I guess a pin was damaged or something. Not to mention the trouble of trying to find parking nearby and the cost to park. Im hardly ever in Eugene anymore but Arts Watch Repair in Eugene is superior and cheaper too.

Good work, way overpriced though. Won’t be coming back here for minor fixes. I brought in my boyfriend’s pocket watch because the hinge was breaking, but the timepiece itself worked perfectly. When I came, the woman who does the watch repairs wasn’t there (despite me coming in during the business hours I found online), and the woman on the counter took my information and had me write down what needed to be fixed. A few days later I got a voicemail that the watch was ready, but when I went to pick it up I was charged $25 for repairing the hinge! That seems very overpriced to me for such a minor repair. Nevertheless, I paid it and left. Will not be returning if any of my watches need non-timepiece-related repairs.

Bottom Line: Veronica does what she says, for the price she quotes and has the work finished when she promises. The watch, a gorgeous and unique Rolex Oyster Perpetual, that Im occasionally way too hard on., was returned to me in beautiful condition and after a couple weeks has perfect timing.The long road to Pearl Watch Repair - Several years back I learned that Rolex had reduced their Official Repair and Service centers to just two -- though many others claim to be or still have that status. This action raised a number of questions and concerns but also had me reconsider local talents. It was a circuitous path that brought me to Pearl Watch Repair...and I was still cautious when I came in the door initially to talk about what happened to the watch, could she fix it, yadda, yadda. Curious think happened. I was waiting for an elderly couple to finish up with Veronica. At the end of their business the man presented her with a nice bottle of wine and their thanks and gratitude. Certainly a nice gesture though I know the vintner of this particular smaller Columbia valley winery and its a very nice bottle of red. Of course I had to ask the story and her answer sealed the deal. Veronica had my watch for about a week, as stated it was returned to me in amazing condition, on time and the discussed price....and for those that care, probably about a 1/3 of Rolexs fees which doesnt include , the stress and hassle of shipping either to Texas or New York. Thank you!!

The clasp on my Casio wasnt clipping shut, and Veronica had me in-and-out in about 5 minutes with my watch clipping shut like new. She didnt even charge me a single blessed cent.
