We booked a group tour a few months prior to our visit and it ended up being a private tour for my husband and I with Camille. She was incredibly knowledgeable about the area and a fantastic tour guide! She had a great personality and had great relationships with the boutique wineries we visited. Our lunch was delicious with a beautiful background. Highly recommend this company and hope to visit again!

Wayne is an amazing tour guide and had our day planned out very well. As a large group (13 women) he suggested two wineries would give us enough time at each for a wine tasting, to take pictures and enjoy the views and food and this worked perfectly! We were able to take our time to enjoy the wine and the views, of which the two wineries were very different (Tresori was a hilltop with beautiful vistas and Ribbon Ridge was tucked into the woods with the oldest soil in the state). The second winery was completely outdoors with a wood-burning stove that makes incredible pizzas for lunch. Wayne went above and beyond telling us about the Oregon wine country along with what Oregon is known for (from hazelnuts to grass seed). I recommend this tour to anyone visiting the Portland area for a full day of wine tasting, Wayne was so nice and accommodating, we couldnt have asked for a better day!

Wayne was a super good host! He was funny, attentive, helpful and friendly. It takes the right person to put up with a lot of rowdy women on wine, he definitely was that person! Thanks Wayne, you made the trip a lot of fun.

We (wife and I) along with 4 others in our group had an excellent all day adventure, thanks to the wonderful wineries and guidance of our tour guide Dave. Disclaimer: beer before wine all the time for me! During our van ride Dave set the table with personable attitude and knowledge that he was happy to pass along. With incredible backdrops and diverse scenery of the four wineries (thanks to Daves flexibility to schedule on the fly) we were able to attend it was a vacation day I will always remember, thankfully there were pictures, because I had my share of wine. Not to mention the awesome picnic lunch to soak up some of the grapes - so we highly recommend this tour and our guide if you are in the area, and need to escape for a day.

Last Sunday was my third wine tour with Wayne. I’ve got two more scheduled this year and every time is another adventure. Every winery I visit on my own knows Wayne and has great things to say about him. He is seriously entertaining. Our luncheon spot fell through this time and Wayne surprised all 13 of us with amazing warm sandwich plates that were out of this world. He paid for them and did not expect reimbursement, but we absolutely paid him back plus a handsome tip for showing us all a great time. We love Wayne!

What a great tour and a great tour guide! Terri was great andnshe was fun. we went to 3 wineries and had ample time to enjoy all the tastings. The lunch that was prepared for us was also pretty great and there was plenty for 2nds and 3rds for 6 hungry tourists. I highly recommend them! Ask for Wayne and he will get you scheduled!

What a great day in the Willamette Valley! Our guide and host Wayne was a delight. We visited three great wineries and were treated to a lovely lunch (no cheese whiz) at the second stop. Wayne was extremely responsive to our needs and questions, hes quite the character and very knowledgeable about everything Willamette Valley. I would personally like to compliment him not only on his vineyard selections but also the music he played on to drive back to Portland..... myself being an ex-pat Brit he could have played some Stone Roses though :-) .... All in all a very memorable day.

This was truly a fantastic tour. From the day we contacted Handsome Wayne through our tour we had a tremendous experience, and open communication throughout. We shared that we had never done a tasting in the Willamette Valley and were open to regional highlights for wineries as well as a few distilleries. Wayne provide us that, and so much more! We visited four wineries, one distillery and an olive oil tasting as well and enjoyed a lovely charcuterie lunch prepared for us at one of the vineyards along the way. As soon as we embarked on our tour, Wayne began with a history of the Willamette Valley, background on the Pinot grapes grown there, history of each of the wineries we were visiting and fun little tidbits along the way. Though not all of the wines were our favorite, Wayne truly made the day enjoyable and ensured we had everything we needed from water, to extra snacks, to wine. A great day of wine and knowledge!

I had a wonderful time on my tour with Camille. She is so knowledgeable and fun to spend the day with! I was on a solo trip to Portland and was thrilled to find a wine tour that accommodated solo (and last minute!) bookings. I was able to join a great group and had such a fun day tasting lots of great wine.

Took this tour a couple of weeks ago during a vacation to Portland. Definitely a major highlight of our trip. Wayne, owner of the tour company and our driver/guide, was very knowledgeable about wine , Willamette Valley, and the vineyards as well as down-to-earth, personable and lots and lots of fun. We visited three vineyards for wine tasting and relaxed outside at two where we enjoyed our wines in nature with beautiful views of the vineyards and surrounding mountains. The tour included a lovely lunch. The company of Wayne and the rest of our small group was convivial and the day was leisurely and perfectly paced. Never felt at all rushed, and, since we had a little extra time because traffic was cooperative, Wayne threw in a short excursion to an olive farm where we had an olive oil tasting. All and all a wonderful experience for a very reasonable price that I would highly recommend.

They asked about our preferences and tastes before hand and customized our visits around that.Teri was very knowledgeable and shared some neat insights to the region, but also let my fiancé and I enjoy the scenery ourselves on this trip.The wineries they picked and order they went in were excellent. This tour was AMAZING! Our guide, Wayne, was so knowledgeable, personable, and fun. The wineries and tastings we attended were intimate, relaxed, and informative, with GREAT wine! We did the tour for a bachelorette party of 9 women and Wayne made it super fun, with ample beverages on the bus and bathroom breaks. We stopped for lunch at one vineyard with the most amazing wood-fired pizza Ive ever had in my life. I actually cant stop thinking about the pizza. 10/10. Such an amazing and educational experience! Not only did we get to drink a variety of amazing wines but we were able to see the wine making process and enjoy the company of wine makers and enthusiasts. We had a wonderful day visiting wineries around McMinnville. Dave was very knowledgeable and fun to talk with. Any question he could not answer he researched and texted us later. Due to covid many wineries are short staffed and reservations are required. Dave made all the reservations and we did not have to drive. A great day worth great wines!

We had a ladies outing from SE to the Dundee wine area. Wayne picked us up at two different homes, was punctual, friendly and prepared. He chose 3 wineries I had no knowledge of which made me a little nervous. We were so impressed! Each winery was special- the wine was good, the scenery ranged from bucolic to majestic. And the customer service was on point.Wayne went out of his way to make the day memorable. He supplied a gourmet picnic lunch procured from a local grocery. Wayne has a wealth of knowledge regarding Oregon vineyards and wines. It was a pleasure going on the wine tour. He even had a hidden gem surprise of a vineyard, which he saved the best for last.

Booked the private tour for 4. First, be aware that wine tasting fees are not included in case you missed it on the website, but they do not hide the ball on that account. Teri was a very nice tour guide. The van was well kept and plenty of water was available. Lunch was brick oven pizza at 2nd of 3 wineries we visited which was delicious. Lunch was included for our tour, but due to some confusion we paid for our lunch. To their credit, these guys promptly corrected the situation soon after learning about the issue and customer service is top notch.. Dominio IV was the best of the 3 wineries we visited.

I booked Wayne for a surprise bachelorette wine tour for a big group of 12 girls! I knew he was perfect for us from the first phone call we had, he is so knowledgeable of the wineries in Oregon that it was easy to pick out our itinerary. He was patient and responsive even when I changed our plans a few times. The day of the event, he showed up early and was ready to go! Our bride was so surprised. We had some newer wine drinkers and some winery members so overall we came up with a good mix of places for everyone. He even sang along to our throwback playlist while driving to the tour and took group photos. It was my first wine tour that I had planned and I can honestly say that it was such a hit with the ladies because of Wayne and his team. A great tour for your first time in Willamette Valley! We were hosted by the co-owner Camille for our tour and she is truly lovely. She picked up one guest in Portland and picked us up closer to the wineries in McMinnville, right in front of our AirBnB. She is very communicative and let us know exactly when shed be arriving so we were ready. The van we were in was comfortable and ready with water bottles for the day. We took our time during the day so we saw three wineries. The wineries you see depends our your groups tastes and Camille was spot on with each one! We went to Tresori, Anne Amie, and Eminent Domaine. The lunch will vary often but we were treated to a spread of great finger foods- sausage, crackers, homemade hummus, dolmas, and more. It was really a wonderful day. Camille even suggested wineries for us to go to without a group the next day we explored the valley, our absolute favorite being Resonance.

We had Lauren take us to 3 wineries. Not only was she on time, but she was early! She texted us to let us know so we could leave a little earlier if we wanted to, which we did. They ask ahead of time a few questions, so they can plan a trip that will be personalized, like # of wineries you would like to visit, what type of wine you like and if you had any specific wineries you would like to visit. The wineries she chose for us were perfect! During COVID, you must make appointments ahead of time, so they were ready for us when we arrived. The 3 she chose were fabulous. Lauren was very knowledgeable about the wineries, as well as the geographic area, soil, and other points of interest. She knows the wine business and has great insight of the Willamette Valley. We would definitely recommend her as well as recommend her to others. This was our first trip to Oregon wine country, but it definitely wont be our last!

My husband and I went on a self guided vineyard tour and it was wonderful! Camille was excellent and very helpful with setting up our reservations at vineyards that specialized in wines we enjoy, as well as pointing out great local food options for our day. Added bonus: It was a beautiful day so we were able to sit outside and everyone practiced social distancing.

A Great Oregon wine tour is the perfect name for this company. A group of friends and I went on a tour on a Thursday and had an absolute blast. We had Wayne as our guide he was informative funny and it seamed as if every winery we went to was beautiful and friendly. We had such a good time we went on another tour on Saturday. On that day our guide was Camille she was even more fun then Wayne if that is possible. If your looking for a great wine experience then look no further. I give them a 10 star rating.

Weve toured with Wayne and his team FOUR times -- twice in 2018 and twice in 2020. The experience is consistently excellent -- curated to our tastes, warm, welcoming, informative, entertaining, and a wonderful picture-perfect postcard showing the beauty and depth of the Willamette Valley.Wayne is a great guide - knowledgeable, friendly, and pivoted beautifully when we had an unexpected power outage that took out some of our planned stops! We loved spending time with him and will be booking this tour again as soon as we need to replenish our wine cellar!Lunch was consistently yummy (fruits, veggies and hummus, smoked meats and cheeses) and plenty of special touches! The van was scrupulously clean (we felt very safe in spite of COVID) and lots and lots of water to keep us cool in the height of summer!Wayne also provided great advice about lodging and dining and Im convinced that his outgoing personality and advocacy for the region is what convinced all the wineries that we toured to give us the royal treatment!!!I wouldnt hesitate to recommend Wayne and Camille and their entire team to anyone looking for a fantastic experience -- if you love wine, you will LOVE this tour and these wonderful folks.

I was struggling trying to find something to do special for my husband’s 50th birthday that was safe and met the CDC guidelines. We had a great experience with Wayne as our tour guide. He picked us up at the front door of our hotel and arrived exactly at the time he said he would. We went for my daughters 21st birthday, we were supposed to go in March but RONA! We were worried about going in August but found Wayne on line and could not have been happier with our experience. He took us to 4 wineries that were amazing! We had a great time and would absolutely recommend!

Wayne is the man. Its important to make the most of your time when you are visiting anywhere and Wayne knows exactly how to do that in Oregons wine country. Let him pick the Vineyards. Forget the ones that tons of people have done and gotten overrun with tourists and let guys like Wayne show you something new. Had such a great time at all the vineyards, we decided to go to 3 so we had more time to relax. Our driver had a lot of knowledge on the local areas and accommodated our group’s needs. Would highly recommend!

We had a delightful wine tour with Camille. The wineries she chose were very aware of social distancing. Some Willamette Valley wineries are by appointment only because of COVID. Camille arranged everything and the tour went off without a hitch. Camille is a lot of fun and she knows everything about wine! I can’t recommend her tour highly enough.

We used A Great Oregon Wine Tour for a birthday and had a great time. Both Wayne and Camille were fun to talk to and easy to reach ahead of time with any questions. They put together a great day for us and took care of all the details. We can’t wait to use them again.

We had a group of 7 family members and found Waynes company to do a wine tour while visiting Oregon. Wayne was a fantastic guide, was right on time and provided us with interesting facts and details about the region as we drove to different wineries. He picked out some great wineries based on our particular tastes, and was hilarious and kept us entertained. Our tour included lunch provided by the company, and it did not disappoint! I was expecting sandwiches, but it was so much better! Charcuterie, fruits, crackers, dolmas, various cheeses, meats, nuts, etc. In fact, it was the perfect lunch to serve while wine tasting. We enjoyed a great day drinking great wine while taking in fabulous views. Highly recommend Wayne and A Great Oregon Wine Tour for all of your needs, as he will tailor your tour to whatever occasion and tastes you are looking for. We had such an amazing time at our wine tour. Nine of us were celebrating my sisters bachelorette party. Wayne picked us up at our hotel in the morning and we had an amazing day at three beautiful vineyards. The bus was clean and comfortable and Wayne is very knowledgeable about the area. The lunch was very tasty too. We had a great time conversing as well as singing along to some music. With COVID, I was a little nervous about which vineyards we would go to that could accommodate our party size but Wayne kept in contact and was able to get everything situated for us before our arrival. Everyone had such a great time. Thank you Wayne!

Wayne came highly recommended by my good friend Michelle, and he did not disappoint for our Saturday 5/30 Willamette Valley Wine Tasting excursion. What an enjoyable time we had in the Willamette Valley. Which would not have been possible without Jessie and A Great Oregon Wine Tour. Wayne was awesome from the start and provided guidance into the wineries. We had done our research and we were able to bounce ideas off Wayne. His experience in the area is stellar when it come to vino. Right away the trip got even better when Jessie picked us up. The knowledge of area that she had was astonishing and extremely in-depth. We always love hearing about the area, the history and personal experiences. After one of our choices was a bust, Jessie made a suggestion based on a personal experience she had and it turned out be the top vineyard that we visited. Wow. I cannot recommend this tour enough. Wayne picked us up from our Airbnb for the trip of a lifetime for my Bachelorette trip. He was knowledgeable, hilarious, and had the best spread for our lunch at Tendril winery. My abdomen still hurts from laughing.Wayne is a MUST book for your stay in Portland!!

We can’t say enough great things about this wine tour. Fabulous, insightful, awesome wineries. We had good friends flying up from wine country and we wanted to give them the best possible experience, so we invited another couple and the six of us had an amazing day with Wayne. Not only did we have a driver, but we gained amazing insight into the wineries and AVA’s in the Dundee and Newberg area. The lunch we had was awesome. Wayne gently guided us away from lesser stops and gave us his top suggestions which we happily accepted. It was also nice to walk into the various wineries with a guy everyone knew and heartily greeted. It was a day that we will repeat soon. We can’t say enough good things about A Great Oregon Wine Tour. There are other tours and competition...but be assured they aren’t the same. It’s not about the transportation or cost, it’s about the experience. And our friends are still talking about it.
