The staff in Tyler Texas area are so helpful and knowledgeable about everything they have available to help someone in need. They have helped me with my hearing disability for the last eight years. They are always determined to help me solve whatever problems I have.Give them a call and let them see if you are eligible for their services.

I left a message ( during Covid) a woman named Brittney made a phone appointment. Never called and then said she was going to send me information by email and never did.

This is a great place to check out if you or someone you know experiences disability. Dont wear heavy fragrances and some of the people who work there are blind, so be respectful. Seems like they do classes her for music or cooking and so much more!

Its been around a long time in Portland, it began as an advocacy agency for the blind. The trimet Lift drivers ALL know how to get there. The office staff are VERY knowledgeable about a lot of disabilities, housing options, services, referring to other agencies and working as partners with the Providence Health plan, as well as aging and disabilities offices. The physicality of the office layout is wonderful for those of us with mobility issues and the staff are also caring. I just began receiving services there and I wish I would have known about them sooner!!!!

If you or somebody you know is blind, visually Impaired, or is losing their eyesight, definitely get in touch with these folks. Theyre really friendly and helpful, if they can get you to the resources you need, no matter your independence level. If being/staying as independent as you can is what you want, call or visit them and see what can be achieved. Also, the Oregon Commission for the Blind may be able to help too...and they work with IRL everyday :).

The Staff is quite capable, discreet and professional. One of the best non profit services in Portland; catering to people with all types of disabilities. They have a clear understanding of the individuals needs before and during the proceedings that follow. Well done.

Aka Sheri Serret... I called over a week ago and was told I’d be called back. I wasn’t. So I called her back and left Mesg. She still hasn’t called me . I call again to get reception and told she on the phone... called again stating my name and she said she’d connect me but then comes back and says she’s on her phone. I don’t believe they have any interest in helping anybody. Thanks
