My husband and I were first time home buyers, and John L. Scott (with real estate agent Kate Smith specifically) blew us away - completely exceeding our expectations.One thing we loved about John L. Scott was how real estate agents work together as a team on challenging transactions. In the first house we were under contract on, Kate went out of her way to research and educate us on that particular type of home, AND looped in her colleague Israel who happened to be an expert on a small nuanced aspect of the property. When the sale fell through (ENTIRELY due to a seller / neighbor property line dispute) Kate worked tirelessly to find us a better place, in the neighborhood we wanted, that fit our needs best.For the home we finally landed on, she even recognized an electric panel (by the company and installation year) that needed updating immediately. Worst experience ever first time buyer would never recommend this company or the realtor I had. She never showed up for closing never showed up to give me keys to my house had to find them hidden on property. I had to talk to mortgage broker all the time and the title company because she said she couldnt reach them I would dial number and both would answer.
