I recently sent a large batch of cleaned and prepared auto parts to TFC for yellow zinc and I have to say I am super pleased with the end result. I would guess close to a thousand individual pieces and only perhaps 5 blemished parts, outstanding!Im exactly and admitted picky to a fault, and Im very happy with the quality work performed by TFC. Irina was my point of contact and was always prompt with replies to questions and giving updates.Ill certainly be a repeat client and look forward to future work with TFC.

Theyve done an excellent job re-plating 47 year old Honda motorcycle parts. Actually a better finish than original.

Had nearly every fastener from my forty year old motorcycle replated. TFC did an outstanding job, quick turnaround, friendly staff, and an excellent value. There was an entire engine and frame worth of fasteners given to them and every single one came back perfect. Thanks again!

Had TFC do a combination of clear zinc and electroless nickel on some engine parts - they came out great! Much better for certain applications than rattle-can or powder-coating options. Will definitely use them again for future projects.

Let me start off by saying the everyone I dealt with at TFC plating is very nice and professional (5+ stars for the entire staff). I really think they are great people, however, my review is not about the people, but more of the process and outcome of my plating work. After tons of issues getting my parts plated, having them re-plate my parts a couple of times since the process was incorrect (long story here. Wont get into it), the job came out looking nice. I re-assembled my brake calipers after getting them back and they looked amazing. I put them away, waiting for nice weather, and when I unboxed them today, I noticed that the zinc plating was flaking off and there was corrosion developing on the outside. After weeks of back and forths, hours and hours sourcing parts, a couple of hundred dollars to get them plated, I am back at square one. Not only do I have to strip the calipers apart again, I have to have them re-plated and I will have to get new seals since I am unable to re-use them. I paid $200+ for the plating, $100+ for the seals. Now I will have to purchase new seals for over $100 and find someone to re-plate them. I am extremely unhappy right now. I have wasted so much time with something that should have been really simple.

My experience with TFC plating has been great until one month ago. I have been going there for over 10 years (manage a cnc machine shop) and just recently an invoice came back over 3x the price its normally been. I have tried contacting the shop via email and phone with no response. Quality of work is good but business practices negate anything positive coming from this company.UPDATE: Nick and I have had contact and made the necessary corrections for the error mentioned above. Ive been in this business long enough to understand errors can be made during ownership changes. Looking forward to see what this company can offer in the future.

With the amount of work weve sent TFC, quality and lead times have always been consistent. Good company to use when youre in a pinch, theyve always been able to help NWT expedite jobs through.

We use TFC for our high tech parts for several types of plating. They are professional and affordable and always provide us with good turn around times and quality workmanship.

Weve been using TFC for our plating for over 20 years. Good turn around times and good pricing. Not sure where the bad customer service reviews are coming from, I have never experienced that. Theyve always been professional. Over the years I have tried other platers and not had good experiences. I wont use any other plating company.

Its funny how when you review things it only takes a couple people to bring your review rating down when theyre angry. And normally people dont jump on a review if it was good service they are just happy they got good service.Id like to go on record saying this place in a great job with our project. Fast turnaround and by far the least expensive place to get my stuff done. Its a family run business and the handle large and small stuff, and they sure get the work out.Weve had our plating done it several of the bigger places in town, and a few smaller. Pretty sure we will stick with this place because of the top three things, quick turnaround, affordability, and quality.

I dropped off some parts to get powder coated. Cheapest place I could find. They did a great job.

I dont typically leave negative reviews online, but I just called this place to see about having some metal decals plated. You would have thought I was calling to borrow money! The woman who answered the phone was incredibly short with me, told me they didnt do chrome plating, and could hardly be troubled to say goodbye. Horrible customer service. Even if they did do chrome plating, I wouldnt take my business here, just on principle. Learn to treat people with respect, and try having a little patience with people who might have questions about your profession.
