Lovely little spot. Away from the all of the many other nail salons in my neighborhood. I was looking for some place the Is relaxing and quiet. Found it! For natural nail approach it’s great. They use Footlogix products if I have found does wonders for my skin. I would recommend this location.

I found a really amazing coupon for the first service here right after my previous nail tech decided to switch career paths and liquidate their nail supplies. Since I had been getting acrylics for several months, I knew that I was going to need a lot of TLC for my nail beds, so it seemed like a good decisionI did decide to remove the extensions myself before going in since my nail beds are sensitive. I took a day and a half to finish the removal to keep my natural nails from becoming more damaged 😅. When I got to the salon, I was given a brief tour of the facility before choosing my sugar scrub, lotion, and polish for the mani. Zizi was my tech and she was AMAZING! I mentioned that Im autistic and have joint pain, so she was extremely careful and gentle with my hands at all times. At the end, I felt genuinely relaxed, which is rare for me after nail services of any kind.I booked another appointment on my way out, which is also another first for me 😅
This salon is so fresh, so clean LITERALLY - They ARE modern nail care!I had no fear of bringing my 3year old daughter into this acrylic-free, no odor, fresh air salon for her first real manicure. There are no little germ traps like the majority of salons. You get a brand new file, cuticle wand and buffer and can choose to take them home afterwards. I also love that you can choose your lotion scent (We went with Oatmeal-Honey). Located in a great neighbourhood that is easily accessible and walkable from the NS streetcar line (NW 18th & Northrup).Nancy was our super tech - she even managed to get some nail art on my daughters tiny nails. She was very patient and made my daughter feel comfortable. We were also offered a warm lavendar or eucalyptus neck wrap while getting our manicures.This salon is just what Portland needs and has been waiting for! We will definitely be back!

Frenchies is my favorite nail salon ever! I’ve been going here for almost a year and I absolutely love it! I get awesome nail art done by Dani every two weeks! She’s so great at what she does and goes into great detail in my nails! The salon is always very clean and very professional. Will be a repeat customer for years to come! :)
I love the environment at Frenchies! Its so different from most salons and it is definitely the only salon I will ever go to. They offer you a warm neck wrap and water, tea, or wine! They also go above and beyond to explain their cleaning process and educate you on products and care for your nails. Meghan and Dani are wonderful! Meghan is quick and efficient and Dani is my go to for nail art! Everyone here is super sweet and they make you feel at home. I highly recommend checking it out if you havent!
I got the deluxe pedicure from ZeZe today. She explained everything and took her time. Her massage was amazing I will for sure be back!

The salon is very clean and always had a good vibe to it. The staff is very friendly. From the moment you walk in you feel welcome. My service was done by Felicia. Felicia is very professional and very friendly. I got a signature Gel Mani done by her. Felicia took her time to clean and prep my nails so they would last the whole two weeks with out chipping off. Felicia also made sure I was comfortable during my service. she offered me water, wine, tea and warm neck wrap. This is an amazing bonus to have at a nail salon. With Felicia amazing prep and application my nails lasted a little over Two weeks.
This is hands down the best nail salon ever! They completely walk you through the cleaning process and invite you in with refreshments and a hand selected personal scent for your services. I had a great experience getting a classic pedicure at Frenchies today. Its extremely clean--Ive never been to another salon that takes such great care in their facilities, which I really appreciated. The atmosphere is nice, they dont do acrylic here so it doesnt smell like chemicals (also love that)! I would definitely recommend this place!

Very clean. Nice feeling when you walk in Frenchies. Felicia was the lady whom did my nails. Made me feel special and allowed me to take my time while picking my polish, because I was so indecisive. The shellac lasted weeks! No chipping. Great experience! By far the best nail tech I’ve ever had!
Beautiful and clean nail salon, friendly staff, my gel manicure looked fabulous and lasted longer than usual. They offer a range of beverages to enjoy while you get your treatment. Great if you want to get a group of friends together to get a pedi done together. Would definitely go back.

The whole staff at Frenchies is amazing, but Dani is spectacular! Seriously. Best mani and pedi ever. She really cares about every little detail and goes above and beyond every time to ensure that I leave the salon on a little fluffy cloud. Wonderful nail salon! I usually hate getting my nails done and would never go when my mom and sister would. However, I really enjoy Frenchie’s because I feel comfortable there. Everyone is so nice, they offer a variety of drinks, lovely lotion scents, gel and non-gel polishes (both normal and organic), and I never worry about getting an infection because they’re super clean. Recently took my grandma there and she was really impressed as well and happy that she could communicate easily with everyone who worked there! The prices are a bit higher, but for the location and service, it makes sense and is worth it to me knowing their staff are being paid better. Highly recommend.

Annaleise did such an amazing job on my nails. I loved the whole experience as soon as I walked in, the smell is a lot cleaner smelling than other salons-no chemical smell, everything seemed to be spotless, and they give you a tour of the salon! Proves that they are not hiding anything and are true to the whole “I love clean” slogan. Annaleise made sure that everything was comfortable and looked good before I left and was very conversational which was nice. She also explained each process and what the products did to benefit me. I will be coming back soon!

If you Are looking for a great Manicure in a very clean place in Portland...you would be there! The owner Linh is very friendly and Felicia was really fantastic for manicure! You can take a couple of Tea or water and enjoy your stay. All staff is really nice! Place to go!

I dont use mani/pedi services very often. Only as occasional treat or hanging out with mother. Had a great experience at Frenchies. Friendly staff and super clean environment. Take their time, dont speed through the process. Even enjoyed glass of wine! Id recommend it as a gift idea for friends, family, or significant others for the holidays. You wont be disappointed .
Went here for an open house (Sip N Shop) event in November 2019. Meghan was very intuitive and showed us what an outstanding and nice place this is. We bought fantastic body creames, scubs and even a scarf for Christmas gifts! Highly recommend.

I found all of the ladies to be genuinely excited about their commitment to providing high quality, low toxicity products as well as an engaging, very clean atmosphere. It was nice to have the lovely service provider speak to me for more than telling me when to move my feet, and to not be distracted by conversations I could not be involved in. A very relaxing experience! I had my first visit to Frenchies yesterday. As others have mentioned, they take the time to show you around the shop and explain their protocols on your first visit - its all very clean, bright and new. Dani took care of both my manicure & pedicure. She was very attentive, checking in with me throughout the process to ensure I was satisfied with the results. This was probably the most relaxing mani/pedi I have experienced outside of a resort. Very chill, very professional.

I had such a great experience at Frenchies! I had a signature mani and pedi with Felicia. The girls were very knowledgeable about their polishes and conversation was refreshing. I really enjoyed that the products were made with essential oils and their overall clean model.

I got a service done by Annaleise and was left more than impressed. Not only was the salon spotless and clean, the environment is extremely friendly. Annaleise explained everything she was doing step by step and why, recommenced lotions, and even helped me pick a great color for my nails. I took my co-teachers to Frenchie’s for pedicures, and we had a great time! Everything was spotless and sanitary, making me feel better about getting a pedi. I have avoided pedis for a long time because most places do not clean and sanitize properly. Frenchie’s was perfect. And the staff was super friendly. I can’t wait til the Beaverton location opens!

The aestheticians are amazing, but the billing practices here are suspect. They took down my number wrong, even though they had a record of me calling in, and when it came time for a followup appointment, they couldnt get ahold of me, didnt put in the effort to look at their prior appointment phone number or received call, then proceeded to charge me anyway!After calling in and complaining that they didnt even send me an appointment confirmation or reminder, they refunded the charge, so I am giving back one star. The other two stars are for excellent service from the aestheticians.
