I had a pretty bad experience with the therapist who did my evaluation, and when I attempted to bring up why that was something that was very harmful to hear, they got extremely defensive and ended with Im sorry if you feel that way, but I dont feel that way at all. I told my regular therapist what happened and she reached out to NW ADHD offering some help should they want it, to avoid giving another patient a panic attack and making them feel entirely unheard. They not only never responded to her, but when I called them prior to try and get an email either for a head therapist or the therapist I worked with, the person who answers the phones asked me what it was about before she would give me an email address, and once I told her she gave the email address for the office which goes to her, the front office person. She told me that the therapists dont have email addresses... Completely unprofessional for me to be spoken to that way by someone in a profession who wants to help people, and this clinic clearly could not care less. They have no desire to improve the way they interact with patients or receive feedback.

I attempted to make an appointment for weeks. No one answered any of the phone extensions. I left many nice messages. Then I left many angry messages. Still none of my calls were returned. I finally spoke with Emily, the intake coordinator, because my insurance company connected me to her on the phone. She told me it was a six month waitlist. I sent in my referral because there are no other options - they essentially have a monopoly. No response. I called to see if they received my referral, and found out they had blocked my phone number. I called from a different number and spoke to someone in billing (the only line that answered, big surprise?). He found out for me that they had decided not to serve me, and blocked my number because of my angry voicemails. Of course they never told me that. So, you can’t make an appointment or speak with anyone… and if you express your rage at how they are taking government money and helping no one - just lining their pockets and taking long leaves of absences - you also can’t make an appointment. Typical scoundrels.

They don’t answer the phone. They don’t call you back. Totally dysfunctional place getting paid by the government to ignore calls.

Ive tried to get help from this clinic multiple times. They are always 6 months of more out. They refused to help me find another clinic. They wouldnt even schedule me for an entrance interview. Talk about a let down, I have no idea how you can call yourself a treatment center when you turn people away blindly.

I believe Muoi was a excellent therapist, however I don’t believe in the business practices of this clinic. It was over 6 months of therapy and still no medical treatment. I think they rake in the money for the therapy first, instead of using a combined approach with medication. It’s hard to move forward in your life when you aren’t being fully treated.

Review edited after further conversation. Therapists have been excellent. Communication with the office has greatly improved in my time here. Response calls are quick, and the phone tree has been changed to make it easier to navigate. Thank you!

Was referred by my primary and so a year ago I showed up on time for all 4 assessment appts where the point of each session was vague at best (but I learned all kinds of personal details about the resident )- including a repetitive lecture that most people who are diagnosed with ADHD dont actually have it so I would need a final assessment test. Was then told I would hear back after the new year and that was 10 months ago. This place needs a serious audit.

Very hard to work with. Even when I followed their directions as best I could I was just dropped after their instructions made me more angry and volatile. I warned them and told them it was a bad idea. Jody Jensen should be reviewed. Polite but ineffective, doesnt listen to patients, and honestly could have cost me my life.

So grateful! After years working with a pediatrician whose knowledge we discovered wasn’t very deep with regard to ADHD and other comorbid conditions, I found this clinic through my insurance. They have a very knowledgeable intake team you can cal to ask any question (believe me, I had a lot!). I was impressed with the intake person’s knowledge and the center’s process for intake as well as long-term I care. I was told our desire to keep the process of working with ADHD as transparent as possible, and as close to maintaining our values (not just throwing medicine at the problem) as possible. This clinic has been so good for helping us with the ADHD in our family. Therapy has really helped. The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner has done extensive testing to help find the right medicine. So far, so good. This group has taken our concerns seriously. We feel respected and listened to. I would recommend this group to anyone seeking help.

Called to make an appointment (big step for me). Was told my local office had a long wait, did I want the other office. Said NO. Does not work for me. Scheduler says no problem. We book appointment for a month out at preferred location. I fill out all paperwork including extensive personal surveys. Wait a MONTH. I get reminder that I have appointment with provider. Phone number provided, but no location. Get call from provider - can you fill out surveys before appointment? Tell her I already did. Says they are switching systems. She will check and call me back. No call. Show up for appointment. THEY BOOKED ME AT THE WRONG LOCATION. Now I’m supposed to wait another month? No thanks. Terrible customer service.

I feel terribly sorry for those before me who had a bad experience. I was diagnosed later in life (22, and Im 23 now). This has been a life changing experience. Someone complained about the dogs, but there are 2 dogs that are training to be therapy dogs and theyre very sweet, just very eager. I love them every time I come in, but that may just be more personal preference. Ive never been ignored, and the office is kind and helpful. My therapist is wonderful and I feel very helped with my medicine. Im grateful for this clinic.

I have been going to this clinic for about 2 years now and I find them to be excellent! The staff I interact with truly have my best interests at heart. Im speaking of my medication nurse, my psychologist and even the office staff. I will say that the first psychologist I had left suddenly after 4 months, the next one was pregnant so I knew she would be leaving soon, finally I found a psychologist that was very well-suited for me. I guess Im saying that its not fast food and you need to give this place a chance. I love the beautiful therapy dogs too! :*)

My three children and myself have been going to this clinic for almost 2 years. I was very hesitant with some of this stuff because of bad experiences in the past but this has been a wonderful place for our family. My kids currently see dr. Laura for their therapy and she is a godsend and very patient with my kids. All of the people, even office staff, that we have encountered throughout the building have been extremely professional and kind to us. Im not sure where we would be without them!

I’ve been coming here for four years. In that stretch of time, things have shifted around with providers and billing, but I’ve now been seeing Megan for at least 18 months and find her to be very consistent and reliable as a clinician. I’m also very pleased with the scheduling, as the front desk staff have worked with me when unexpected conflicts come up within a few days of my appointments. Lastly - they have been able to bill my Cigna insurance as in-network, which is a recent change and tremendously helpful.

My experience with the people at NW ADHD has been great. Before you even start getting prescribed ADHD meds you take 3-4 classes on what ADHD is and what you can do to manage it without meds. The therapists there are pretty cool as some of them also teach some of the classes. The nurse practitioners are really great since they take time to know you. If you got ADHD and other things related to it, this place is a great resource to manage ADHD

Ive only had good experiences with the front desk, my counselor, nurse practitioner, and even the dogs. Ive always left feeling like the people I interacted with had my best interests at heart, even in the longterm. I would definitely recommend this place.

For being an “ADHD” center that supposedly specializes in ADHD, you’d think that the counsolers would have more education on the subject. I went in for a re diagnosis and sat on a computer for 20 min to click a button every time the square popped up. Somehow that was supposed to be the ultimate test to pronounce me Adhd or not. I’ve had various , in depth testing done before through a diffrent mental health facility and all my testing came out very positive for adhd. There’s no doubt in my mind or anyone close to me that I’m Adhd . I feel like I have more education on the Adhd brain than my counsoler does as well as whoever created their test thats given to determine if someone is Adhd or not. I was extremely disappointed. I gave it a chance with 3 appointments and it’s been a waste of my time and co pays. I really had higher expectations but they shot even lower than below average. It feels like I’m being diagnosed by a bunch of interns straight out of a psych 101 college course. Nobody knows even just the basics. I really wish I could get a refund for my copays. Not to mention the test that I took used to be 300 bucks for patients and not run through insurance. How in the world could a simple little repetitive click game cost 300 bucks when it tells you nothing except your speed score? Just hand your time and money over for free over and over again to get zero answers. At this rate id probably have better luck buying adderall off the street from some high school kid. What a joke.

Theres a couple good counselors here but mostly interns who are young & inexperienced. We found our own viable alternatives to medication later outside the clinic. Unfortunate that they didnt make suggestions to save a lot of time & trouble when they were unable to provide solutions. Cant say I appreciate being ignored by the receptionist until her uncontrolled dog comes after me.

I started coming here for treatment about 10 months ago. Im currently very happy with my therapist, coach and Nurse practitioner. Its been life changing but It wasnt a smooth ride.It was very hard to get an intake appointment. I tried for three months prior to getting in. This was during a particularly vulnerable time and it was really hard to wait without help or any idea when it would be available. I sought counsel elsewhere unsuccessfully. Finding a therapist who understands ADHD and takes my insurance; apparently its a rare combo. After I got in, it took 5 months to get in to see a the nurse practitioner, again due to staffing and management issues within the center. My first counselor was pretty awful (apathetic during some very vulnerable moments, could barely pretend she wanted to be there some sessions, couldnt engage well with me beyond the q&a intake portion, very little eye contact, typing the whole time...).I dont say that lightly. I respect and admire my current counselor and am growing a lot with her support. The current staffing/management issues seem to be better than last year, so hopefully other people seeking help wont have to feel the way I did.All this to say, if you have ADHD and you feel like you need help navigating it, there is help here but you need to advocate for yourself. Dont stick with a counselor who you dont click with because there is likely a great fit if you are persistent in getting the help you need. Also, I cannot say enough praise about Elizabeth Nuñez! She comes to patients homes and helps put organizational systems in place as well as offering help troubleshooting issues of living with ADHD that come up as shes there. If you need it, its a godsend. I can also reccommend my counselor Michelle Blum, who is engaging, wise, empathetic, very helpful and just all around awesome.

They treated me like a number and not like a patient. Further more, they discussed me and my treatment with other people without having a release of information signed.I cannot stress enough how horrible and privacy invading this ADHD treatment center is.
