Audrianna and I have known each other for several years in professional and personal roles. I have always looked at Audrianna with respect and admiration. She has adhered to the highest level of ethical standards and I find her to be extremely balanced in regard to the professionalism she brings to her practice along with the compassion and warmth she exudes in her overall work. I have never hesitated in referring anyone to Audrianna as she has shown consistently that she is seasoned and well versed in addressing the concerns of her clients. I continue to see Audrianna as an extremely valuable asset to the field of mental health and look forward to working with her as a fellow professional in the years to come.

I have known Audrianna in a professional capacity for many years. I know her to be kind, thoughtful, knowledgeable, and professional. She has provided education about postpartum mood disorders to volunteers for Baby Blues Connection and has done public education to mothers attending local mom and baby groups on behalf of Baby Blues Connection as well. I would recommend her.

I am a colleague of Ms. Gurr and am writing to endorse her as a professional, compassionate, and highly ethical counselor. Ms. Gurr and I have worked alongside each other for many years, in the past in the same office and currently collaborate one anothers work in a consultation peer professional environment. Ms. Gurr is, in my opinion, a very experienced and highly dedicated counselor who takes her work very seriously, adhering to the most rigorous of professional standards in order to maintain her knowledge and discipline in her field. She is kind, knowledgeable, and always works to meet her clients where they are at and to provide the guidance, support, and resources that are needed for each unique person and situation. I have tremendous regard and esteem for Ms. Gurr and would highly recommend her to any prospective clients.

Inexperienced and tragic. My wife and I began seeing Ms. Gurr in 2012 when my wife began exhibiting uncharacteristic behavioral outbursts and heightened paranoia shortly after she became pregnant. As my wife’s paranoia turned into repeated violent episodes, I became gravely concerned. Ms. Gurr however failed to heed the repeated violence, threats of self harm, and instead continued to use CBT as hand out more and more literature. Quickly Ms. Gurr ran out of ideas, games, and literature to pass out. As my wifes mental state spiraled downward, Gurrs inexperience and ineptitude shown through. Ms. Gurr missed clear danger and an obvious diagnosis. Shortly after birth, my wife took our child’s life. The appropriate and responsible action would have been for Ms. Gurr to refer us out to a Medical Doctor or Psychiatrist with appropriate experience and credentials that Ms. Gurr lacked. Ms. Gurr instead recommended more frequent sessions, and assured us she was capable in diagnosing mental disorders - Ms. Gurr also has some trouble telling the truth. After three sessions elsewhere the diagnosis was paranoid schizophrenia - a simple diagnosis missed. Ms. Gurr may be a fine CBT counselor, but should not be trusted as a therapist or expert. If not avoided, her advice and practice should be followed with extreme caution and a second opinion.
