Been driving OTR since 2007. I may revise this after working here longer, but so far, working here has been kinda like watching circus clowns try to put out a fire. They seem very unorganized and its hard to get good timely information, instructions, or directions. Its a relatively new company, so maybe theyll improve with time. Or maybe Ive just gotten a bad first impression. Well see, I guess.

Drivers and yard drivers at fred meyers Puyallup Washington are the most arrogant and unprofessional people you want to deal with. The office people are by FAR worse!! Had a blonde lady cuss me out because i was with 6 feet of the crosswalk when I was backing in!

On July 1, 2021 while driving in my motorhome north bound on I5 north ofVancouver Washington the driver of trailer MX6007C passed me on the right and on the shoulder while flipping me off. He then pulled in front of me close enough to clip my mirror. It was almost a very bad accident as I had to veer sharply into the lane to my left almost hitting a sedan. Ryan Graybeal at Market Express keeps giving me the run around as to when they will fix my rig and why the driver did what he did

Best company I drove for. Absolutely amazing. They worked with me on my religious beliefs unlike any other company Ive worked for. Im unsure if their driver manager in Portland is still there, I dont want to drop names, top notch though. Ive worked for Navajo, Matheson postal services, Shamrock foods, lumber yard cdl, and this is by far the best company. Had a beautiful newer 2019 freightliner that ran like a tank. They also have some great mechanics in Denver and portland with great attitudes if you treat with respect and not hover over like a drone, let them do their job... Everyone knows mechanics and truckers arent the best of friends, but its because cranky disrespectful truckers treating them like dirt.. Heres a hint... Dont upset the guy working on your truck, treat mechanics with respect, they are hard working friendly guys that dont want to be treated like dirt like any one of us.. THANKS MARKET EXPRESS!!! Oh, and they took me in, while I was homeless... Truly a blessing. Yahuah and Yahusha bless you all.

Driver was yelling at me because I was trying to exit the freeway as he was entering I-5 north at 2pm on 12/17/2019. Driver behind me left plenty of room for him to enter but he decided to speed up and prevent me from existing and through trash at my vehicle. I tried to call but no answer and didnt see a truck number.

I am an owner operator contracted to Market Express for two years now. I have found them a great company to do work with. The weekly settlements have all been accurate any paid every Friday. Operations keeps me moving with good paying freight. They just opened a new yard in North Portland. If you are an owner operator in the western half of the country, give MX a look.

I left this company, dispatch is rude, youre nothing but a number, this company only cares about the mighty dollar. You sit a lot. Pays good if you can get the miles. I left because this company isnt a family oriented company anymore, use to be. I hardly got home to see family.

I feel underappreciated as a company driver...

I was hired as a hostler at their Puyallup WA location which is a Fred Meyer distribution center. It took three weeks to finally attend an orientation session after the gal in Portland kept screwing everything up.She kept forgetting to let them know when I would be there, or just didnt schedule it. She lied to the Puyallup location twice saying I called in sick, then told them Id quit, neither of which was the case. She screwed up and lied to cover her own tracks. I finally went to the first day of orientation on June 25th and everything went fine. I came in the next day and wasnt even in the office 5 minutes when the manager told me they were cutting me loose because they hired three hostlers with 15 years experience each. I wouldnt recommend this place unless you want to be constantly run through the ringer.

Market Express was the best company that I had the pleasure of working for, pay was excellent, , staff was some of best to work with and if I still lived on the west coast I would still be working there .

Dispatch is no good! If you work for this company its probably ok but if you are owner operators they are liars! They give you garbage leftovers and keep the good work for themselves! Dont trust them they are on their way to being another company that doesnt care about the drivers!

Not competitive pay. For local Portland drivers, they are shelling out $21/hr with overtime after 50, while the market rate in 2019 is $24-$25/hr with overtime after 40.
