My go-to dry cleaner in the Pearl. The customer service is amazing and theyve done a great job with all of my shirts thus far.Not necessarily the cheapest dry cleaners in the area, however I think its a great example of you get what you pay for. And in this case, that means good people and reliable dry cleaning.

These folks know what theyre about. I get my cleaning done there regularly, but the alteration services are also top notch. Ive had difficult materials like a mesh top altered, and its held up beautifully. I also get all my hemming done here, and have trusted higher end garments to Pearl District Cleaners and have never been disappointed. The owners are friendly and welcoming, and my mood is always a little bit better after popping in here.

Great find for wash & fold laundry! We’re out of our home state for a few months and needed to have our clothes washed. Good price for the quality of service you get here. We had almost 10 lbs of clothes and they cleaned it all, had it nicely folded and in bags 48 hours later. I would recommend them! PRO TIP: you can park right in front of their store even though there are signs saying the road is closed (that is later on the road, right *after* their storefront). Second PRO TIP: ask for fragrance free detergent so you can avoid skin irritants. They were happy to follow this request, thank you!

I picked up my blanket today which was filled with cat hair a few days ago. Today it looks spectacular! I was told it took extra time and effort but was not charged any extra money. Fantastic place run by very nice people!

I really doubt about them actually cleaning the rug I bring almost a month ago. Took them 3 weeks to give me back a dirty rug.

I had a bad experience with this business. Items have a strong smell thats still lingering more than a week after I picked them up. And they werent pressed. Im not sure they were cleaned at all.

Always a great experience! Shirts are ready on time and pressed correctly. Service is fantastic. There have been a couple of times when we needed a shirt urgently and they have accommodated us. Also, dog friendly. My dog loves getting a treat and his ears rubbed every time we visit.

I have been going to Pearl Cleaners for 5+ years now- Sue and Lee are the nicest people you could hope to do business with; hardworking and always friendly. Ive used city laundry northwest for the past few years, driving clear across town to do so. The machines are a bit run down, but the service is beyond excellent. Sue and Jason are real people, who go the extra mile to give you a good laundry experience. They are warm, friendly and genuine.Ive recently found a location closer to me, and that is the only reason I no longer use city laundry northwest. While the new location is new and shinier, it misses the warmth that these two provide.

I love Pearl, shes the only one I trust for all of my red carpet alterations and tailoring. She gets it perfect every time.

On our recent visit to Portland we needed expedited wash and fold service. We took our clothes in the morning and got them back beautifully finished in the afternoon. Great service!

Worker/Owner (not sure) (Korean lady) was so rude to me! I loaded a non-working machine that wasnt labeled not in service then put a quarter in the machine luckily before I inserted another another customer told me they were broken. I went to her to get my quarter back and she gave me attitude and she never saw me insert a quarter. You gotta be kidding me! I was like 3 people saw me put a quarter into your damn machine. Then to prove it I made her put her own quarter into the machine and it ate hers too. So finally got my quarter back and loaded two working machines. When I pressed start on both one had more time than the other so when I asked her about it she gave me more attitude and said I didnt know what I was doing. Apparently one had left over time from another customer which is great for me I just wanted to make sure nothing else was wrong. Them she started with the attitude again and was talking to the other customers that its my first time here and I dont know what Im doing AGAIN. Unbelievably terrible customer service!! Never again

After years of doing my laundry at a place on NW Thurman, I started going here and learned the value of doing laundry at a place thats staffed by one or more ACTUAL HUMANS. And theyre friendly humans! Given their location, they do have to deal with some weird things and weird people. If they think youre one of them, your first interaction with them might not be so nice. But once they know you, theyll smile and call you by name. You lost a quarter in a bad machine? Problem solved immediately. Want advice on how to treat a stain or how to launder odd materials? Theyll be glad to help. After doing my laundry there for a few years, I almost feel like I have a new cousin and aunt.The machines are older, but clean. Check the latches on the dryers before you use them, and let the staff know if a latch isnt holding the door closed--youll likely find it fixed on your next visit. Be careful to only park in the spots marked for the place or youll likely get towed--if the staff sees you parking in a spot that isnt theirs, theyll warn you, because theyre cool like that. And if you need dry cleaning or full-service laundry done, its all there, under one roof.I like this place.

Since opening Pearl District Cleaners has done nothing but take care of me. The most recent experience was two fold:1. I forgot to get my shirt pressed for an event the next day and they were a happy to move it to the front of the line for me.2. Picked up a shirt and there was still a small stain on it. They could not apologize enough and asked if they could try again at no charge; including the refunding the previous service.This is my go to spot!

We have used them for years after using several others previouly. We have not had problems with buttons, etc like we did with others. The service is excellent.

First time giving this establishment a shot. Met Sue, the owner, shes great and we were just chatting it up there. I could tell she really cares about what she does. She even pointed out one of my blazers that I was taking to Vegas, has no dry clean buttons, but the blazer is dry clean only (thanks Express). I just moved to he metro area from Vancouver, the dry cleaners over there never pointed that out. You can tell theyre cheap buttons and would melt Sue just was letting me know that expensive or cheap l take care of my clients and Ill be very careful. She asked when I was going to Vegas and I told her this upcoming Friday. She said she will have not only my works shirts and blazer finished, but also my suit by Wednesday anytime! Watch out with those racist comments (below) Im brown as gets because Im Colombian and Italian and she treated me like I was Asian, or should I say like normal? I highly recommend this facility.

Super friendly and do great work! I had a long wool overcoat and two blazers which were incredibly moldy from being left in a basement over a month after it had flooded, and they did a superb job cleaning these up (I did not think they were even salvageable). I only had to pay extra for the overcoat which had the most (read: extreme) growth and fuzz on it, for the others they charged regular price, and the total was very reasonable.

These guys are rockstars! Another cleaner had put a stain ON my dress, these guys got it out in a couple hours (in time for the wedding), and charged me a very small fee to do so. I highly recommend them!

Very kind service. Efficient and accomodating. The store is also open & comfortable - rare thing for a cleaner.I was just a little surprised by the price - higher than what I experienced for similar services in San Francisco & New York (ie: wash & fold during travel + 2 dry cleaning items)

The lady working was very nice. The place was bright, roomy and friendly, which was great for me and my 18mo old, to stop in and do a load of laundry while on travel. I would recommend it highly.

City Laundry is a little mom/pop place. The lady who was there was very friendly and very accommodating. The machines in the laundromat are a little old, but they get the job done. I would come here again. I love local joints like this.

Ive always overlooked this place and use to bring all my dry-cleaning elsewhere. No longer!!! Once I meet with their team, I knew they could be trusted.
