I haven’t Yet had my surgery, but I just want to say my consultation with dr zegzula was amazinggg. The staff was so welcoming, the office is clean and nice. Dr. Zegzula was very informative and told me the good, bad and ugly about breast augmentations which as a patient I truly appreciated. I’ve been to a few other doctors around portland/southern Washington and I had never felt “heard” in their office. I felt completely safe and listened to at PPSG, they heard me out on every single detail and didn’t rush my consult like I had experienced in the past with other consults. I was so nervous going in because of how I was treated in other offices but seriously from the second I contacted PPSG I have been helped 1000000% and had nothing to be nervous about.I made my decision to book my surgery right on the spot because the staff, the office, and of course Dr. Zegzula are just phenomenal! Seriously thank you for being such a patient and kind doctor/staff!!!

My experience with PPSG and Dr Hayes has been exceptional. As a non-binary person, having my gender and pronouns respected is important to me. I will say - none of the staff nor Dr. Hayes were trained to use gender neutral pronouns, but everyone was receptive to learning and growing and becoming more inclusive. Though I wish I did not need to advocate for my gender (and some staff do still use incorrect pronouns for me), I did feel the effort was there to be respectful of me. Aside from that, all the staff are friendly and helpful and Dr. Hayes is wonderful. He is kind, thoughtful, caring and professional. I always feel that I can ask questions, make requests and take my time. He seems to genuinely care about each patient. And my results have been amazing. He really is a perfectionist, which is what you want in your plastic surgeon! I am grateful to him and PPSG.

Unfortunately haven’t been able to get ahold of anyone. Myself and my wife reached out, were both told a rep would follow up with us, I’ve reached out twice after being told that and no reply. I know 1 stars can negatively impact businesses so even then it’s hard for me to do this, but after seeing others have had similar feedback, it definitely doesn’t sound like an isolated incident.

Dr. OBrien was nothing short of amazing! Her vast knowledge of skin, facial construction, and even general medicine is vast, indeed. She answered every single question I had and a few more I didnt yet know Id have. She is very pleasant and conversational as well (despite being brilliant!). This was the best $50 Ive spent in years, and she have me even more than the allotted hour. Martha, the facial peel specialist, was also great. She is very knowledgeable and has a fascinating life story. I havent had any work done yet, so I will update the review as I do.

Just had a bilateral sub fascia breast augmentation with Dr Zegzula on May 25th. I went with 270CCs in each breast, Ideal Saline Implant, Over the Muscle bringing me to a natural full C. And 3 days after surgery, the pain is a 2 on a 1-10 scale. Its mainly just discomfort from the making of the breast pocket so this was expected but I thought it was going to be more painful.But the overall experience was amazing. I am a trans women and that was never an issue once. I had enough breast tissue that I grew on my own with hormones that I was approved for surgery. Dr Zegzula was extremely informative and kind but what I loved the most about his style and approach with his patients, is that he lets us lead. He may throw in some recommendations as a starting point, such as offering textured silicone implants at first, but the moment I told him I was only comfortable with saline, he accepted that RIGHT AWAY, didnt hesitate. He didnt try to talk me into something I didnt want to get. I told him the outline of what I wanted and he created a masterpiece. He gave me the Ideal Saline implants which is a saline implant with chambers inside with tiny holes so the saline can move throughout the implant at a slower pace so the implant imitates the feel of silicone with the safety of saline. and whats great with these Ideal Implants is that the manufacturer actually offers their own insurance up to $10k if anything was to go wrong.Everyone has a plastic surgery family, and I have found mine.P.S. Can we talk about how AMAZING the nursing staff is? ❤️❤️

I had a consultation with Colleen Phillips for a cyst removal. She was personable, informative, and set a reasonable price so we agreed to have the procedure done the following month when I returned from a trip.On a Sunday a couple weeks before the procedure, I woke up with a ping pong ball-sized lump on my forehead -- the cyst had become infected. Not much I could do that day, but Monday morning I didnt go to work and was off to the races calling anyone and everyone. The receptionist here let me know Colleen was in a surgery until 1:30 and her afternoon was booked, but shed review with Colleen once she was free. I called Kaiser, but I was bounced around from unit to unit and it took forever to just get through to anyone who could help. My options were limited and it seemed like I would have to go another day with this lump on my forehead.At about 1, I got a call from Colleen directly saying she heard the news and she could try to fit me in between appointments. I was in the office by 1:30 and within minutes she was able to get to work. She not just drained the cyst, but removed the sack as well which was the root issue!I was prescribed antibiotics and a few days later, it ended up healing nicely. I was very grateful to Colleen and the folks at this group not just for the medical work they did, but for the outstanding service they provided. I was put at ease when I was panicking and offered a helping hand when I really needed it. Highly recommend this place for the service alone. They also have a very nice office and visitor parking spaces.

Absolutely LOVE Portland Plastic Surgery Group. Went to Dr. Zegzula for a breast augmentation and cant say enough amazing things about he and his staff! Everything from the consultation to the procedure and post-op experience was awesome. He has such a great bedside manner, and his staff is so sweet and helpful - best experience ever!Ive also gone to PPSG for skin treatments and havent been disappointed yet. No one tried to up-sell me or tell me to do more, and I felt respected and valued as a person.

After having 3 consultations and given the exact outcome, I directly asked what the cost would be to get my gf breast augmentation done with size, type and under the muscle. 3 days later I get an email saying “come on in for a consult and we will be glad to help”. And guess what there is a charge for that. Save money and time by looking somewhere else first.

Dr. Zegzula was professional and personable during appointments and I had complete trust in his abilities leading up to surgery. Recovery and healing was incredibly fast with ideal outcome and minimal scarring. Dr. Zegzula said good health helps with that, but Im sure his skills and precise work contributed. Im so glad I chose him as my surgeon! I also cannot speak enough of the great bedside manners, not just from Dr.Z, but the entire staff. Dr Zegzula took the time to walk me through my options, dry my tears, counsel me with my choice & provided all the information I needed for a healthy recovery. He is an excellent surgeon and passionate about his work. He wants each patient to have good experience with very happy results. My new “girls” are cancer free & look great. Dr. Popowich and his staff were all very professional and caring. From my innitial consultation through my recovery I felt that my concerns and questions were directly addressed. I was referred to Dr. O’Brien at Portland Plastic Surgery Group after being diagnosed with breast cancer and told I would need a mastectomy. For anyone unfamiliar with the process, breast reconstruction is now generally included with a mastectomy—times have really changed for women with this diagnosis. I had no idea.Anyway, my breast surgeon who was to perform the mastectomy had originally referred me to a different plastic surgeon/office for my reconstruction. After my initial consultation with that doctor, I left feeling very scared and dismayed. My surgeon then referred me to Dr. Obrien and what a different experience it was!Dr. O’Brien was amazing—she gave me complete confidence in her abilities to handle my surgery and provide the best results possible. She was easy to talk to, sensitive to my fears and concerns, and best of all, thoroughly managed my expectations at every step.Furthermore, the entire staff at Portland Plastic Surgery are wonderful, from Gaylenn and Kiahna at the front desk, who remembered me by face and name after my first visit, to the medical assistants, Shannon and Cherrie, who always made me feel welcome and like a part of the family. The professionalism of this entire office kept me calm and comfortable and always made me confident that I was in the best hands.It has now been almost 12 months since my mastectomy (part 1) and almost 5 months since my reconstructions surgery (part 2). I’m extremely happy with the results, and looking back on the whole experience, I honestly feel that Dr. O’Brien, her Physicians Assistant, Colleen Phillips, and the rest of the staff at Portland Plastic Surgery are responsible for making this past year a lot easier and less stressful than I initially thought it would be.
