I’ve had memberships at several other gyms in Portland (only because of moving around) and this gym is in the top two for sure. The staff is really great about keeping things clean, and they’re all friendly.

Incredibly well-equipped gym. I generally only use the squat rack at the gyms I go to (there are six here), but I could see plenty of machines, cardio equipment, a stretching/yoga area, and studio in back. Staff were friendly, place was very clean, and dropping in was super easy and somehow the cheapest option in Northeast.

I’ve gone to gyms big and small, budget and premium, in cities all along the west coast. I’m glad I found a home at Peak since moving to Portland. Their small (but comfortable and extremely well-equipped), locally-owned gyms are everything the mega clubs are not (thank God): clean, maintained, friendly, not too crowded, staffed, and pleasant. Perhaps most importantly, the clients seem to care as much about the gym as the staff. People are actually here to workout; not talk on their phones, or conduct a production of Meathead Lifting Theater…yes, folks, even the power lifters are considerate. Nutshell: as close to perfect a neighborhood gym I’ve encountered. Oh, their prices are great too.

Excellent big-chain alternative. Friendly staff. Clean environment. And I mean clean. Constantly. I dont know how they do it. Well, thats only half-true. The people that work out here are great as well. Courteous. On the ball with wiping down equipment before and after. I couldnt be happier.

It’s a good city gym. I’m used to suburban gyms with salt pools and racquet courts with all the bells and whistles which this one is not. But it does have full weights, breakout rooms, fitness classes, basic machines, resistance bands - all that ...

The gym stopped allowing Silver Sneakers Medicare passes for seniors and now my mom can’t afford to go here anymore which sucks because it’s a block away and she had a community of friends. Super lame

Hands down the best gym in all of Portland! A good mix between yoga and Olympic lifting and everything in between. One of the few places in town that has *real* platforms. Amazing classes, amazing instructors. Olympic lifting with Papi is pretty much the best gym activity in town. Come here for classes, and stay to get fit.

This is a great gym. Its a medium-sized neighborhood gym with friendly staff and a clean facility. They also have free classes, plenty of free weights, and lots of space. It helps that its never too crowdedOne additional thing that endears them to me is their cancellation policy. They have very reasonable cancellation terms and allow for digital cancellation. But why would you want to cancel? :)

Great variety of equipment, and not overcrowded. A friend convinced me to try Jim Stopanis Shortcut to Size three-month program. This gym had just about every piece of equipment I needed from free weights to machines. They have a total of six squat racks, which is impressive for a neighborhood gym. They also have group classes included in the membership. Highly recommend.

Neighborhood gym. They offer a free trial. They have an infinity climbing wall which was great to hit last for a total burnout.
