You can also sit back relax and marvel at their German like paperwork and paperclip shuffling and record keeping efficiency. Just dont expect to get your freight for weeks. And when the employees talk to you they talk to you with an attitude I cant be reprimanded or fired

I bought a couch and they use FedEx to deliver them. So not sure if I have a choice to use anything else, but the delivery process was a bit hellish. Apparently since its freight, they dont deliver it unless an appointment has been made. However they never called me to make an appointment (and the text they sent out wasnt populated with any time slots), and it was only when I noticed the delivery kept getting cancelled was when I called. The people I spoke to were friendly enough, but I had to call two different days to make an appointment, because they STILL didnt deliver it after the first time. The second time I tried to call customer service, the FedEx employee was like Sorry, it seems like they just let their number ring off the hook, so I dont know what to tell you. You can try if you want. I said sure, and called them repeatedly for about 20 minutes, but someone did finally pick up! Two days of making calls to them, but I felt accomplished after that... as if it were my job... But then the delivery: the delivery man wouldnt help me get the 300 lb boxes on my lawn and instead dropped them off on the sidewalk. Im a single woman, so I had to just leave them outside hoping they wouldnt get stolen until I could get someone to help me. So delivery was a disaster, but couch is great!

They lost half my order. Had two pallets of shelving ordered. Truck driver shows up on Friday and says I was suppose to get two pallets but they lost one. Said he would find it and deliver it Monday. Nothing showed up Monday. Now Im told they cant find it.

The customer service skills of the folks on the phone at the call center as well as the staff at the depot was excellent. The cargo was treated well. The delivery was ready a day early. Very positive experience. A superior job compared to others, especially their own parcel division.

Tried receiving a pallet from these guys for two weeks now. They no show or else show up hours late expecting you to be there. Do yourself a favor and use a different carrier if you’re in the Portland/Vancouver area. These guys never have a clue what’s going on and don’t put you as a priority.

Service was slow. FedEx refused to deliver onsite as contracted. FedEx made it difficult to arrange pickup. Package in good condition at pickup.

17 days to deliver from Southern Cal to the Seattle area. Rediculous.

Guard shack girl was a total sweetheart and very helpful. The parking lot was set up for easy backing with 45s I had no trouble at all.

GPS takes you from MLK to NE Gertz road but thats a no trucks road. Better directions take Vancouver way like you would go to the truck stop then turn left on Gertz

I drove to this location to get our delivery two day earlier than waiting for them to deliver it. I have been waiting one hour now. Another car drives up, he waits 15 minutes and his item comes right out. Still waiting. Ship UPS next time for sure.

There is not a better example of how not to run a freight company. Whining staff who cannot find freight even when the customer knows exactly where it is located. Office staff that ask questions yet refute the answer if it is not what they expect. It took 40 minutes to do a 10 minute job. Threats to refuse the pickup if the customer was not presenting a powder puff attitude. Fred Smith would probably shut down this terminal if he still ran the company. In the duopoly of major shipping businesses find the smaller company that is ran by normal people as opposed to corporate stooges.

This is a busy place, they work with appointment. I had 24 hours delay in this place because they were behind. Customer service is great.

FedEx freight was a great place in the old days with the assistant service center manager Frank. I used to have high hopes and dreams knowing I would love to stay with FedEx for my whole career. He ended up leaving and we hired an ex con named Shawn in place of him. Everything started going down hill and now i hate my job and have put in 40 applications at Old Dominion. I heard they have a guy just like Frank, and I loved Frank.

Future Fedex freight employees,Beware, if you are hired on and report to Paul Dunford as your manager. do not go to him with questions. You have a better chance getting a straight forward answer asking the janitor about the operations. He does not listen to any of his employees. I recommend talking to someone else in management for any questions relating to operations because he has no idea what goes on at the service center anymore.

The staff is very professional. They get the PT drivers taken care of, very efficiently.

If it werent for the great benefits offered by FedEx, I would have walked out the door the minute they thought hiring Shawn Keck was a good idea. If anyone else in the building was as bad at their job as he is, they would have been terminated very quickly. Not sure how he is still employed. Terrible terrible terrible manager.

All future employees considering FedEx Freight as potential employment, STAY AWAY!!Where do I even begin? In all honesty, ever since Frank and Mike Harris had left the service center, the place has eroded into a complete and utter dysfunctional failing business. Shawn Keck and Paul Dunford are the culprits behind this chaotic establishment. I have seen better managerial practices at a lemonade stand in my neighborhood. Never in a million years will these two morons develop a managerial IQ large enough to help themselves find success within a professional capacity. It is honestly laughable that Shawn and Paul have lasted as long as they have.My advice; chase good management and continuity in your job searches. Until FedEx wakes up, smells the coffee, and rids themselves of these uneducated jokers, separation between you and an application is in your best interest. Unless untrustworthy, boorish, ignorant, and disorganized leadership is your cup of tea, youd fit right in.

I love FedEx and use them for all company shipments. The local freight hub has friendly staff and make picking up atypical loads easy.

This company is wonderful compared to other carriers. Always on time for pickup. Fast and friendly service and with freight box service the pricing is awesome.

I worked here for a few months and I left mainly because of management. It is the worst culture I have ever been apart of and Shawn Keck is the worst manager I have ever had. Not sure it gets any worse than him.
