Jason gave us such a fun and perfect fishing experience on our first trip to Portland. He was super knowledgeable about the water, enclaves, and different city landmarks. He was funny and engaging- someone you want to go have a beer and hangout with after! He gave us great tips for scenic drives and hiking during our stay. We can’t wait to come back and try deep-sea fishing with him next trip.

Awesome Springer trip!! A friend and I contacted Jason with short notice relative to when we wanted to go fishing. He did everything he could to make sure we could book a trip. He was able to work us in and we had a blast. Jason is an extremely knowledgeable fisherman of the northwest, a top notch guide, and an all around great guy. I don’t think any other boat on the water had near the success we did. We were able to get 3 out of 4 springer king limits. His boat is immaculate, clean, and purpose built. Jason uses top of the line gear, bait, and techniques, and will put you on the fish! Great trip and a great guy went for sturgeon fishing Memorial Day weekend. Had 5 guys and Everyone caught 5-6 sturgeon ranging from 2-5ft and I was lucky enough to catch about an 8 footer. They know there stuff and will get you on the fish definitely recommend going out and getting some sturgeon.

Jason was an amazing host and fishing guide, he had great gear and he really was a great captain. The wind picked up and the waves on the Columbia got pretty big, but his boat was perfectly suited for the conditions and with his skills it wasnt a problem at all. We limited out and we all had a great time. I can not recommend his services more. Next time I want to go Salmon fishing he will be the first person I call. We couldnt have been happier with the experience, even when it came down to cleaning the fish, he took such good care in all aspects of the trip. 5 stars for sure.

Great fishing trip! We caught at least 15 sturgeon on this trip!!! Jason was so attentive and on top of everything. He provided extra jackets in case anyone on the boat got cold. He also had a heater on the boat that kept me very warm and toasty. Jason was super friendly and we enjoyed having him as our fishing guide. We caught more fish then the other neighboring boats. Jason shared information regarding our surroundings and suggestions of things to do while we stay in Portland visiting. Thanks Jason!

Jason was a terrific guide! My son and a friend spent a morning catching multiple fish! It was a once in a lifetime experience! The boys left their lunch in the car at the marina and Jason’s wife packed extra sandwiches in case of such a mishap! Thank you and we will be back!

Jason was a great. Caught my first salmon estimated about 20lbs. Them moved down river pared next to another guide, they were not catching anything and when will pulled up it was nonstop for us!

We had such a great day, all thanks to Jason! Jason took care of everything. From top quality gear, to expertise and knowledge of where to fish. He had a beautiful boat and took us to the best spots. We spent the day catching salmon on the Columbia and taking in the views. At the end he even cleaned our fish! It was really an experience that felt underpriced. Best bang for your buck, by far! Jason is an awesome guide and all around cool person to spend the day with. All four in our group left very happy and talking about how we would do this again very soon. 10/10, I highly recommend!

Had a great time! Jay was very professional and courteous. Caught two salmon. One 12pound one 15 pound. Hooked a 7 ft sturgeon. After a 20 min fight I lost the hook, but what fun! The whole day was great.

I had never fished before in my life. I had the most wonderful time! The Guide and his father were in the boat. They are the most kind, entertaining and accommodating of people. They didn’t do any fishing themselves but put out more poles to the number of people in the boat which gave ME more opportunity for more hits!!! I got quite a few that day pulling and tugging for all my life! The sturgeon nearly killed me pulling that huge monster! I still laugh and remember the warm feelings of that day. My family had an awesome day on the Columbia River with Jason fishing for sturgeon. Jason put us right on top of the sturgeon, and we caught plenty of fish, including a few really big ones; one was too big to even bring into the boat. Jason is an incredibly nice guy, and he was very well prepared for the trip, including having some extra gear to help keep us warm while riding on the water on a cool morning. We highly recommend him, and would like to come back to Portland for another trip to try to catch some salmon with him some day.

Jay was an amazing guide. Very professional and efficient. Excellent quality gear and beautiful boat was provided. Day trip was perfect. He knew exactly where to go and when to go. I can’t say enough about the great experience my daughter and I had fishing for sturgeon in the Columbia River with Jason.We met Jason at the ramp right on schedule and he took time to understand what type of trip we wanted. He immediately put us on the fish, and I was impressed with every aspect of his operation. He was patient, took time to teach my daughter how to fish for sturgeon, and taught us about the local area, and provided the best gear and bait available. His boat is amazing, and everything about the trip was first class.After we were done fishing for the day, Jason took time to take us on a tour of the river to some must see sights before heading back to the dock.I can’t wait to fish with Jason again!

I went salmon fishing several times in 2017, with several different guide services. The only fish I caught were in Jasons boat. He is a guide who cares about every part of the experience from catching to sitting in the boat carrying on entertaining conversations waiting for the big bite, this is the guide service you want to trust. The best fishing memories of 2017 happened on the Columbia River in Jasons boat. Ill be back in 2018 and I know hell give me the best chance on the river at putting monsters in the boat! Very excited for springers!!

What a great time we had with Jason. Great equipment, he knows the rivers and best rigging. He is hard working and fun at the same time. We always catch fish with him!

Jason took us out in a Sunday and almost knew exactly what we were looking for. We are from Arizona and only seen small fish with small fights, so he took us right to the gold. We fish for 4-5 hours and almost ever 20 mins we had a 5-10ft sturgeon on the end giving us the biggest fight we have ever seen. We fought until are arms felt like they couldn’t take it anymore it was a great time and made our vacation up to Portland worth it! We originally wanted to go for salmon, however Jason kept in contact with fellow fishermen to see if they were bitting at all and that day just wasn’t a good day for them but I don’t regret anything. Totally worth it all and super thankful for Jason being flexible with his time and showing us an amazing time and truly making the trip!

Jason took my son, coworker and myself out fishing on the columbia river. We had a blast, caught lots of fish. If you want to go catch fish, instead of hearing bs stories I recommend you give him a call.

I won fist place in the fishermans derby with my 27 pound Springer. Jason was a pleasure to fish with and I have been back many times! Hs big boat was very nice and easy to fish out of too.
