As a former employee, my advice to those of you who work there and care about the wellbeing of children is to DOCUMENT YOUR DISCREPANCIES THROUGH EMAIL. Your supervisor will want you to feel comfortable and speak directly to them. DO NOT DO THIS. The administration will retaliate against you and create a paper trail. By properly documenting your discrepancies through email, you can prove this retaliation, which would violate multiple whistleblower acts that you can then bring to your union rep. They will also never inform you of your right to have a union rep sit in on any disciplinary actions taken against you, which you should absolutely do. Ive seen first hand how two faced a manager will be once the union rep walks in.Furthermore, if you are a parent I would avoid at all costs sending my child here. They do have caring direct care staff, however, some of the clinical managers have undiagnosed mental issues and are extremely cruel to the children they are sworn to protect. As evidence by them pushing for restraints when we have months of safety and justifying it by saying we cant be scared to restrain children. They also showed little to no empathy in team meetings when discussing the clients and their families, often trying to make jokes or insults about them. The level of cronyism at this organization is greatly imbedded, so if you arent willing to play ball and want to bring about change, be prepared for litigation.Jessie: Your response is inaccurate. I made a complaint, was retaliated against, claimed whistleblower protection and your HR department dropped all disciplinary actions against me and moved me to another shift per my request. You were directly involved in this and I emailed you personally. The lack of accountability this organization has is truly terrifying, considering they care for some of the most vulnerable children in our system.

I, personally, have been there first hand after an attempt to end my life. While the therapists are amazing and the activities were fun, I think it left me worse off. The staff are good friends, but TERRIBLE counselors and act like the teenagers there do. Most of the staff on unit pick favorites and leave other kids out, are very passive to SUICIDAL KIDS, and make your time there a living hell. The food was fine, and there campus is quite lovely, but all and all not worth it. I think two months in jail would better than two months in here. I wish I could post without giving it a star at all, in fact.If you’ve read this far, stay tuned, there’s more. The English teacher is incredible, but the others...not so much. For their safety I won’t mention names, but the math teacher is a better friend than teacher, and his methods don’t work for most students, but he refuses to change. His ASSISTANT, we’ll call him J, should be the ACTUAL TEACHER. He is polite, funny and understanding. But worst of all is the SOCIAL STUDIES TEACHER. He is funny sometimes, but COMPLETELY invalidates EVERYONE OPINIONS. Never made me feel better about school and told me my opinions were wrong. He is closed minded, even after all his volunteering, and is WAY to political. On another topic, they called the other patients, from my view, as PRACTICE FRIENDS. That is so VERY wrong!! They don’t allow you to grow friendships outside of the facility, and refuses to let you touch or hug your friends. It is an isolating community and they leave you touch deprived. When my parents visited me after a long week of work, when they hugged me I was actually afraid. Yeah, that’s right, AFRAID OF MY OWN LOVING FAMILY touching me because no one is allowed to paint each other’s nails or hug them for support. I know of many facilities who do this and are fine, but whatever. They don’t allow emergency family calls past bedtime, which is rude when you feel like you want to die and just need to call a friend or parent. And, they don’t care when you cry. They just look at you with no remorse. I even told somebody there of a triggering and traumatizing event that ACTUALLY happened and they accused me of “seeking attention and lying.” Well, duh I was seeking attention, especially if I’m asking for HELP because I feel like I can’t LIVE ANY LONGER.Anyways, this all just my opinion. If it saved you, bravo, but it only taught me to hide my feelings more and to bottle it all and suck it up,

Oh heavens, is this place a hot mess! Internally, its a tangled web of drama and uneducated leaders and HR personnel. Could you imagine being brought into a room with an HR manager to be accused of bringing in a virus through a spare monitor? Obviously someone didnt go to IT (or IT doesnt know what theyre doing either.)Lord have mercy, you guys need to seriously chill on the passive aggressive stance, and learn how to actually speak to your employees. No wonder the turnover is so high. If youre looking for a job because you want to make a difference, I would strongly suggest keeping your distance.Turnover is massive, changes being made are not thought out, and even though the entire staff curses regularly, HR will single you out for doing so.Whoever you are, you deserve way better than this place. Id strongly suggest just keep looking elsewhere if you wish to truly be happy with your career and the impact youre making.

When I was a child, I was locked in that place for 9, months, when it was called parry center. When parents go to drop there kids off, this place brings out the worst of your childs demons.I warn you, your child wont be your child after theyre done with.with them.Terrible thing happen to children there. And theres always that excuse when the child speaks up about it no one will believe because theyre the child and nobody believes what a child says, because the adults say thats why they are there. Very very bad place to send children.

Been trying to apply for a cooks and housekeeper position in 2019 and 2020, had issues with the application a few times, and when it said it was submitted, I checked up on it a month and three months later and it said was waiting to be reviewed?

I guess I should be happy that my daughters referral got dropped, forgotten, mishandled, dumped, that my calls were/are ignored, rarely returned. Ive been outright lied to by the assigned case manager, always passing the blame & confusion on another facility....its a BIG RED FLAG that my child doesnt belong there. The star is strictly for the ability to hit post
