Hello , I`m looking for work please give me a call

I went in to apply for work, and I left with a ticket directly after finishing the application. In and out, they started me on a full time temp to hire job for a professional lumper company the very next morning. Ive never gotten better results from a staffing agency. Thanks guys!

I called and requested a laborer for 8:30 in morning. They called at 8:15 and said the fellow was not coming but would had another person who ne onsite at 9. At 9:45 no one had arrived and I called and got voicemail. I texted. Got text I’d get a call. No one called. At 10:15 I called and got someone who said no one would come. I had equipment and subs lined up and this cost me a lot of time and money down the drain. Save yourself some grief. Go elsewhere for labor.

Been working for this place for almost two years. Never not had work unless I didnt want to work! Gone out of there way to make sure my super is correctly stacked!!

Just horrible staff! You can also tell by how they dont respond to any of the these negative comments at all or try and remedy any of the bad impressions they have made!Went in at 5am for a straight week... No work! Absolute waste of my time and work experience! I missed a weeks worth of pay waiting for a job when I could have gone to express, summit, or people ready even and gotten at least 3 days of work! Also the staff are incredibly racist, disrespectful, impatient, and self absorbed. The inordinate amount of stupid was unbelievable. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME!!!!!

I went in, did an application. I hadn’t gotten any work. They told me I need to come in at the crack of dawn every morning to a “CHANCE” to have day to day work. Wow! Thanks so much, I needed temp to hire, or just direct temp work not day to day work. This was the absolute worst experience I have ever had. I’ve never received a call back either, regarding any sort of work. It makes it hard to believe that’s even a functional business rather than a scam.

Was hurt on the job. They are trying to put if off on the company they sent me to work for. Worked overtime and they refused to pay. Was calledwhite boy by the manager. Treated horrible. Never work for these guys ever. DO NOT TRUST THEM. This has ruined my life. I dont know where to go for help.

I got plenty of great labor jobs practically every day I came in to this LaborWorks, but that isnt what makes this establishment really stand out to me. Ben, Kim, and the seldom seen Vee, are exceptional people who were able to do whatever it is they did that got me to do work every week during a difficult time in my life. I really have appreciated the staff during my time there and if Im ever down and out of work again I know a place that can help me build myself back up :)

Havent went in for work yet. But the application process was very smooth. Customer service was very friendly and helped me with all queestions i had. She even took the time out to stop eatin her food on break to help me! Grade A service. Lets hope the work is easy to get.

Went there signed up the woman said yeah we got a lot of work just no available work because it’s all taken she said I got a daily pay job for you turned out to be weekly pay so they lie to you from the start and I’m broke so I needed daily pay then I sat there till 1130 don’t go here biggest waste of time in my life

This office and specifically Charles working in the morning are gargantuan jokes that waste your time. Im already hired into the company but havent gone on assignment as I travel and Im stuck living out of my car. I set everything up yesterday afternoon when I got in town and they said theyd have something for me today. Lies. I showed up at 5am, waited for them to open at 5:30am and was #5 on the list.Charles was answering the phone and told one person Youre going to have to come in and see because Im dedicated to the people actually here and waiting. ... And then immediately answers the next call recognizing the number, answered with greeting them by their name and told him Ill call you if something comes in buddy. No problem.After this I still waited a while and once he was free from everything I approached the counter to further explain this is/would be my first assignment and I wanted a little more information on the likelihood of work. The man was less than pleased because Everyone else in here is in need of work and you need to sit down. Its my first time seeing you here and we already have relationships with a lot of the guys in here.When I commented on his previous phone calls and how hes showing favoritism he was quick to say whats convenient for him well then I guess Im not dedicated to anyone, then with a sarcastic shrug and eye-roll.Why would I want to work through someone that doesnt want to make a good first impression for a new employee in need? I wasnt nagging or being rude and he managed to make me feel disposable and undervalued.My time is important and if I waste the 5am-9am window sitting in an office that shows favoritism and prejudices against women Im never going to make the money I need to feed my family because I could be looking elsewhere.If you arent a 30-40 year old man find another agency of just apply for jobs directly. This place will waste your time and make you feel like youre an inconvenience.If for some reason they DO find me a job today Ill update this, but Im not going to hold my breath.

Went in, application process was pretty easy, everyone seemed pretty nice, but the morning I came in, 5:30am at the office everything went sour.First of all, the office guy didnt show up until after 5:45am so we waited around for 15 minutes outside. They had no access to restrooms. We (other workers) sat at the office for 3 hours nearly before hearing where we were going to be assigned. Not on the clock, so sitting doing nothing. Then heard we wouldnt actually get off of work until 7-8am after we had to leave that office and go to another place to work. Then wanted to repeat. The desk guy was super rude and snappy.Thats the catch when they dont drug test.

I shouldnt rate this place yet, but more friendly than most temp agencies I think. I found the bathroom door Wide Open, so whoever posted no access to rest rooms, there is a new situation, or something. They definitely have a restroom with a funny hand washing slogan posted near the mirror, but I forgot what it said!

VERY rude office staff! They treat you like an inconvenience! If you hate yourself and have no self value, then youll do fine there. If you value your time and believe you should be treated with respect, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

The best thing about LaborWorks is getting guaranteed daily pay as long as the work tickets are turned in before 6 pm everyday. A downside at LaborWorks is not always having a job assignment for you so you have to be there by 5:30am every day wvwn though you may waste time waiting on a job you may not get.

If you want to get out of the cold and watch homeless people sleep this is where you want to be. If you want a job sign up with gliss staffing.

I came all the way from Stockton CA I had nothing but 2 bags on my back.came to Portland 4 new start. Laborworks will get your foot in the door. And it gave me a good start.yeah sometimes work is slow there but show up at 5 am and stay consestent the main man V will send you to work just have your food clothing ready for weather conditions and a pair of Steptoe boots for warehouse work and you can find what you want for permanent or temporary. I like it its good for anyone with no reseme

Dina is the most disrrspectful person i have ever met ..... I was nice kind and ready to work but her poor attitude made me want to never want to work for this drug employment place...if you are a druge free person looking for work please do not go to these paid 5 star reviews just walk in there and you will see nothing but crack heads getting the jobs while you are sent home it is insane....they are horrible liers and this is why me and about 50 other people will leave bad reviews and contact the better business agency also contact the labor board and labor force and also contact the health department and report unsafe practice due to drug needles in the bath room thank you Dina you will be hearing for the bbb shortly

Theyve really fought for me 2 years ago, and though I feel no entitlement to the same treatment now, I believe I would still be granted it. Edgar and V I knew before, both fight hard for their employees. If you are reliable and use your manners, theyll do just about anything for you, including call up the company they sent you to if the company doesnt treat you right. Can I ask for much more out of day labor? Haha, coffee?? Lol

Horrible. I was sent to work with heroin addicts and drunks that begged for free hours, left early, were under the influence all day, and were the drivers. I have videos of a job supervisor on heroin passed out and high and they refused to listen. Ive paid out of pocket for gas because their drivers beg for money after you leave or they refuse to drive. Never reimbursed. Ive tried talking to them personally several times, but were not people. Actually heard them say that at the counter to one another. They mislead you on jobs, not telling you the pay until you agree and then sending you 2 hours out of town claiming they didnt know. Unprofessional ignorance doesnt look good. Videos and documented incidents have been reported.

Went in to this Laborworks office as a last resort as I had no car and was living just up the street. Ended up getting work from them on a daily basis starting the day I started borrowing my brothers car. Now I have a full time job temp to hire through them, I like the work, its a good fit for me, and the guys I work with are cool. I will say that sometimes when you show up in the morning you will see some interesting people in there trying to get work as they do do day labor and pay daily. It is a good way to get some quick cash when needed. But they will get you solid full time work if you can stick it out long enough to show them you are reliable, have a good work ethic, and arent a screw up. If you are a skilled laborer they do have jobs for us as well. Also they have grunt labor work for those of us who just need work. Nice people to deal with, very accomodating for those of us who ask nicely. lol.
