I ordered (2) 3lb live lobsters. The plan was to cook them on Sun night but they were delivered on Sat around noon. I kept them in original packaging and put the entire box in the fridge and they stayed alive and were fine by Sun evening. Steamed for 17 minutes and they were delicious! Its a treat I would certainly recommend!

The seafood is incredible, the fact that I can have it at my doorstep next day is fantastic. The customer service is top notch, I recently had a delivery issue with FedEx where they said the package was undeliverable. Given they hadnt attempted the next day I received it today and the seafood was room temperature. I spoke with Brad and he was able to send me out a replacement order to arrive tomorrow. Thank you Brad, very much appreciated. Maine Lobster Now is top notch!

I can not say enough good things about my experience with Maine Lobster Now. My son was driving in from Chicago for his birthday and wanted lobster for dinner. I placed the order on Friday at 10:30 AM and had 6 live lobsters at my door in Brown County, Indiana (South Central Indiana) at 9:15 AM Saturday morning. They were delicious and everyone enjoyed the dinner and experience. Cannot wait to order again!

Overall a great experience. Ordered on website. Was heading to Florida for a vacation and decided to send my family lobster, clams and mussels. Ordering on website was easy. I had to change shipping date a fee days after order. Called customer service and was greeted by friendly staff. Order was changed in a snap. Everything came fresh and alive. Was packed very well. Who orders seafood online?! Had to prove my wife it is possible, and yes, what a success!Ordered online and had some questions so called them and placed the order via phone. Good customer service. Ordered 5pounds of colossal king crab legs. The delivery really is over night shipping. Order placed on Friday, arrived via fedex with tracking on Saturday before noon. Great packaging, box, ice and the king crab legs could have stayed in there for another 1-2 days. Fresh and delicious, and really, really the biggest I’ve seen. Highly recommended!

Ive had only good experiences with Maine Lobster Now. Weve ordered several times and the quality of the food is great. My most recent order was bounced around by Fedex a few times before it was finally delivered - with the outer shipping box and cooler being broken and the seafood arriving at room temp (no fault of MLN). Stephen, in customer service, was able to remedy the situation immediately and ship out the exact order the same day for a next day arrival. I will definitely continue to order from and recommend MLN to family and friends.

Placed an order recently and part of the order was missing. After communicating with their customer service, they provided a refund for the missing items as well as a credit for future orders. Although it was frustrating to have missing items, the customer service seemed to genuinely care about making sure the issue was resolved. Lobsters and clam chowder were delicious too! Will definitely be ordering from them again in the future.

Ordered pound of fresh and pound of frozen. Fresh good but when thawed frozen was rubbery and tasteless. No satisfaction whatsoever from contacting seller. Was very rude and implied our fault that lobster was bad. Only wanted to see label, which of course we didn’t save, and fact that we called three weeks after shipment. We ordered frozen because we wanted to wait to eat second pound so we had just thawed it. Would not use this vendor again even though we love lobster.Received fresh pound of lobster to replace inedible frozen pound. Very happy with result. Maine Lobster Now resolved the issue after talking to customer service if you have an issue, don’t talk to Steve.

My brother wanted some clam chowder and I decided to order from here. I was able to get free shipping with a $100 order, so ordered some lobster dip and lobster pot pies as well. The food arrived still frozen, yay! I received lobster mac and cheese instead of pot pies. I was disappointed but they were quick to resolve the issue when I called (I got a store credit). The mac and cheese was okay but overpriced for what you get. Plus the lobster was tough and I ended up picking it out. I personally wasn’t a fan of the clam chowder but my brother loved it. The lobster dip was good, but again I think it’s overpriced. It tasted like smoked pimento cheese. Since I have a credit, I have to order again...but I didn’t really love anything enough to want to reorder.

All seafood (and seafood companies) are not created equal. As a repeat customer of Maine Lobster Now, I have always been satisfied with my purchases until my most recent experience. After placing an order online where every item showed as in stock, my order was shipped without the main dish and it appears that the company knew as much since when I called to ask about it, they said it wasnt available even though it showed as available on their website. They had no trouble charging me for the item that wasnt available, and then gave me an extremely hard time when trying to get the issue resolved. If a company is willing to charge for part of an order that they knowingly didnt (or cant) ship, there is no way I will ever do business with them again. If you choose to do business with them, I highly recommend you check your order carefully and make sure everything was included and that you werent charged for items that were missing. There are many other companies that sell fresh New England seafood and I would highly recommend checking one of them out instead.

I ordered Lobsters from MLN as a thank you to friends that allow us to stay with them in Tennessee. The order was delivered exactly when stated. Customer service was excellent. Our friends were MORE than surprised. Great experience.

Company failed to deliver on multiple orders by not sending the complete order despite multiple chances. Customer service is basically non-existent, otherwise incompetent. The latest order didnt even include the lobsters as ordered. What kind of company uses lobster in their name and fails to send or even correct an order that should have contained a quantity of several of their main product? A disgrace of a business and a complete misrepresentation of the state of Maine. Would rate negative 5 stars if possible.

Downgraded to 1 star and would have done 0 if possible. Of the 2 lobsters I received, 1 died before 430 pm on the day of delivery and I have to take photos of the dead lobster to even possibly get a refund.The portion of my order that I got was great. I was using the predecessor company for years with great results. The past handful of years the service and attention to detail to include what I actually ordered faltered significantly. I decided to give them another shot after my wife had a positive experience about a year ago. I received only 2/3 of my order, including missing an entire lobster. They at least answered the phone when I called to get a refund, which was issued for the missing portion after they also hung up on me. Based on my last three purchases from this company and its predecessor, dont order if this is your primary food for a special meal. Only order if this is a random splurge where no one will be disappointed if they have different or no food.

Ordered Clam Chowder, crab cakes, shrimp for cocktail, lobster claws and Jonah crab claws. COULD.NOT.WAIT to get it based on all of the reviews. My enthusiasm was debunked when everything arrived THAWED. I was nervous about refreezing, especially seafood, so I advised the condition it arrived in, and asked if it could be. Without acknowledging the fact that it was thawed, I was told as long as the internal temp is 40 degrees c or lower it should be okay. Really? It should be okay? So I reiterated the fact that my expensive, frozen seafood arrived thawed, gave a more detailed description of each item, and asked how long it would last in the refrigerator? I received an apology just to say Im sorry for this experience and then the answer to my question about the refrigerator. I decided I was going to try to cook what I could and then freeze. Starting with the bacon wrapped scallops, I look for the directions, and the label was so detroyed in transit that you cant even read them. See picture provided. I sent the picture showing how the packaging arrived, and received the cooking instructions back via email. I would have expected by now that they would have taken SOME accountability for this first time customers horrible experience. Having not done so, I am a last time customer as well. High price to pay.

While I think the quality is pretty good, I do have a problem with the weights. I always break down orders to amounts I can use and freeze the rest, so I got out my scale to weigh each item and divide it.Virtually everything ( monkfish, flounder, crab meat) except the scallops* arrived underweight, mostly just a little. Now, on fish, okay, an ounce here or there isnt much, but I ordered 2 Lbs of picked (Jonah) crab meat. It came in so much liquid that when I drained it , there was actually only 1Lb.10.3oz. of actual crab meat ! I live in San Diego, and while picked crab is expensive here, it is not swimming in liquid (frozen, defrosted?). The liquid cost $14.25! I guess Id better keep it and use it in a paella or some other dish that uses stock.* The scallops: there are 8 (lovely) whole scallops that came to 14.5 oz, so they threw in some bits and pieces to bring it up to weight. I would have preferred another whole scallop (of appropriate weight).I probably will not order from them again.

I left my initial reviews of the products I received from this company on their website; but surprisingly (not) Maine Lobster Now chose not to make them public. I expected, but did not receive, any communication from the company regarding the issues I had with my order so I am now making my concerns available for public viewing. This will be a lengthy review, but at its conclusion I will make sure to state that I would never, ever, order from this company again.I only ordered three items, but I paid $130 for products that were blatantly misrepresented and very poor shipping standards.First, and I think the worst item I ordered, was the Hickory Smoked Lobster Dip. The product description was smoked lobster with a mixture of sour cream and garlic. What I received was a package of preservatives, smoke flavoring, and a minimal amount of lobster. Nothing fresh here, folks. This product is a total bait and switch. See photos for ingredients versus the description on their website. The flavor was artificial and left a nasty taste in the mouth. It went into the garbage as inedible.Secondly was the pound of lobster tail meat I ordered. The website touts fresh caught. Not true. The lobster tail meat I received was labeled as fresh three days before I even ordered it and had a two day expiration date. The label reads it was packaged for Maine Lobster Now, so not caught fresh BY THEM as their website infers. I was supposed to receive whole, cooked lobster tails at $60 for a pound. I received mangled pieces of lobster tails instead. Not only were they shredded, but what we received was tough and chewy, so much so that we didnt even eat it all. It was simply too much work to eat it! We have gotten better Maine lobster from a local food truck that has it flown in fresh WEEKLY. The uneaten portion of the lobster I ordered from Maine Lobster Now was garbage as well.The third product I ordered was the Jumbo Sea Scallops - U-10- 1 lb (Diver Scallops). I only received 8 in my order. Although they were some of the best Scallops Ive had, I only received 8, and that made a big difference in our dinner party of three where the other items were inedible.These items were delivered in a Styrofoam cooler with a sheet of bubble wrap and a gel ice pack. I live in Florida! Needless to say, everything was soaked through and almost room temperature. Thank goodness I intended to eat it immediately, otherwise it would have been garbage.As previously stated, I left a review on their website that was not made public. In fact, there is no choice on their website to even see prior reviews. I opted to search Google and found that they have been reported to the BBB, and have many negative reviews on several sites as well. I wish I had done my due diligence and investigated them before splurging on a a special occasion using Maine Lobster Now. According to the negative reviews given, their customer service is is less than stellar. My advice? Keep looking. Their prices and shipping seem reasonable, but you truly get what you pay for. In my case, I paid $130 for 8 Scallops.

Weve been ordering live lobsters from New England for years and these are by far the best lobsters weve ever gotten. Weve ordered three times now and every time is perfect.They arrive first thing in the morning of desired delivery date and taste like they have just been caught. Customer service is fabulous. So thrilled to have found this company!

As part of our Crystal Anniversary, we ordered food from the crystal cold waters of Maine (see what we did there?). Their items are fresh, never frozen. We ordered in July but requested delivery on 08/15. We got 2 lbs of the cooked lobster meat (tail and claw only), the special Lobster Roll rolls, a lb. of Maine’s fresh churned butter and a fresh Maine blueberry pie, which we baked. We buttered and toasted the buns and loaded them up. Let’s just say the only conversation was our lips smacking and groaning. You need to check out MainLobsterNow.com.

Ordered lobsters, haddock, whoopie pies, and the metal Lobster crackers. When I received the order from FedEx the top of the box was caved in. Not due to FedEx but due to not having the top of the Styrofoam cooler. They didn’t put the top of the cooler on! 2 of the 3 whoopie pies I ordered came...mixed within the lobster and seaweed...definitely contaminated. Might try putting them in a water proof bag...Ziploc. Lobster crackers didn’t come either. Spend your hard earned money elsewhere.

I received the lobsters with a broken box and some of them were dead, i didn’t expect this especially with the premium price i paid for!If you order from Maine Lobster Now and receive dead lobsters, make sure to take pictures of those dead lobsters if you want a refund, that’s what I was told.Remember, take pictures of the dead lobsters!!!

I wanted to show my coworkers in Georgia what Maine lobster was like. We put together money and ordered 34, it also came with 1lb of FREE Alaskan king crab legs. I was skeptical being from Maine and growing up with some experience lobstering with my grandfather that many would die during the trip. They didn’t! Received the package at 10am and cooked them up around 4pm, no issues at all. Great job by Maine Lobster Now, many of my coworkers have asked for the link and plan to buy some for their families. Highly recommend this company, the price was only about $26 per lobster which is a great deal when you factor everything in.

A total 5 Star experience! MLNs service and quality are unbeatable. I ordered 2 x 3 lb Lobsters and a pound of cocktail shrimp for my wifes birthday for Saturday delivery. The box arrived at noon, causing no angst. I realized when I looked at the lobsters that I did not have a cooking pot large enough for these monsters. I cooked them one at a time which worked out just fine. The taste and texture was absolutely delicious. Thank you Maine Lobster Now for a great experience.

One star is very generous. Ill never order from this company again. Ordered twice and both times they forgot to pack stuff and couldnt get it to us in time for our gathering. This time forgot all the lobsters, so if you plan on eating dont order from here. Horrible customer service, our order was over $350.00 they could of gotten us our lobsters we arent that far away. Very disappointed. If you plan on eating and feeding a gathering, dont order here.

Received four two pound Lobsters alive and well by 10 am on the day promised. They where fresh and in excellent condition. We had a wonderful anniversary dinner.

We ordered the 1 LB of Lobster meat. Was it ever tough. It was pre-cooked so we just dipped it into melted butter. Chew Chew Chew. Not again.But we also ordered the Bay Scallops.....they were great ! Pan seared and tender. So so......JS

This was our 1st time ordering from maine lobster now. We live near Atlanta so fresh seafood is rare. The shipping was fast and accurate. Last night we tried the scallops and seafood stuffing and both were delicious. We still have lobster tails and crab to eat another night but everything looks delicious. We will definitely order again. ❤❤❤

Had used Main Lobster Now many times while living in Pennsylvania, with great results. After moving here to Louisiana we decided to have lobster for Memorial Day. We ordered 4 - 1 1/2 pounders, Steamers and Sweet Corn. They were delivered on Friday afternoon in decent condition. We steamed one Friday evening for Lobster Champagne Creme sauce over Fettuccine. The other three, along with the steamers went into the crisper in the fridge with the seaweed they where shipped with and balled up moist paper towels between them. All stayed alive and well till Monday afternoon when we had our fresh seafood feast. The only problem I had was with the shipper, UPS. I watched the shipment move on UPS Quantum View all day get with in a 1/2 mile to 1 mile of our home only to go another direction showing me they didnt have much concern for the perishable package on board. The package stayed in the truck for close to 8 hours in 90 degree temps. As you can see in the photos the driver had no regard for the handle with care or arrows printed on the box. Course here in Louisiana they consider Catfish seafood, so go figure..lol. I was watching so I knew when they arrived so I could get there, from work, as soon as possible to care for the package. Thank goodness I did or the result could have had a starkly different outcome. Which would have been no fault of Maine Lobster Now.

Our friends suggested Maine Lobster Now. So we ordered 14 lobsters, they arrived on time, but just a couple of them were alive. We cooked almost of them anyway, removing just the ones with bubbles, hoping that they could still be good. Well, after tasting some of them, we threw everything out.EDITEDAfter several weeks, the customer service has refunded the order. The reviews are too good to just leave Maine Lobster Now, so were willing to try it again with another order and Ill update this review once we receive itEDITED 2Product was excellent this time! Ordered a six pack of lobster rolls. I was meant to receive 1 pound of lobster meat. I got 12 5/8 ounces! The bread rolls are incredibly small. I purchased for a family of four and there is no way that my sons and husband will be fed by this. Beyond disappointed!

A last minute surprise order for dual celebration that was simply divine. Order came immediately to specification and was very well packed and still cold. We ordered some misc finger-foods to munch on throughout the day culminating in one of our new favs via bacon-wrapped scallops. Our main course was surf and turf. The lobsters were FANTASTIC! Meaty and delicious. Our whole family is just thoroughly happy with our experience and will definitely be purchasing from again!

Updated from 1 to 3 stars: After multiple exchanges, the lobsters were replaced and when they arrived provided a delicious meal for my parents. The final product was worthwhile, once it was received. The challenge with customer experience, which is why I rate this as 3 not 5 stars.Original: I ordered a lobster dinner for my parents. All of the lobsters arrived dead. I tried to call and was on hold for over 40 minutes without any answer. My parents went on the website and were informed that they won’t get new lobsters, just money back. I wanted a special dinner for my parents, not money back. This experience has been very poor. I would not recommend Maine Lobster Now based on this.

Ordered 5 packages of Snow Crab Legs and 4 1.5 pound lobsters for New Years Eve Dinner. Received the Snow Crab Legs, but no lobsters. Both the snow crab legs and the lobster were on the packing slip. Called and they told me they would send the lobsters next week - at which point they really wont do me any good, since they were for New Years Eve. One time would be one thing, but this was the second time this has happend to me. Last time they notified me by email the day delivery was supposed to occur that they werent able to send the order. I will not be ordering from here again - there are more reliable outlets.

Love Maine Lobster Now! Please ignore the negative reviews. I placed my order late in the afternoon and my lobsters were delivered the next morning before noon. I live in landlocked Montana. The tails are gorgeous, the live lobsters are perfect. Ordering was super easy.When the issue is shipping its out of their control. Giving the business a poor rating because the carrier is backed up and didnt deliver on time is not the right thing to do. The negative reviewers should rate FedEx one star, not Maine Lobster Now. This is a great place to order seafood from!

Very happy with our order! Went to see family for Christmas and last minute my in laws said they wanted the lobster stew my dad always makes. Got 2 pounds overnighted and it arrived hours earlier than expected :) was really great to have that Christmas in Maine feeling all the way in rural Washington 👍👍🦞

Did this place change hands?. Received dead and stinky steamers. Got two live lobsters. One tasted ok but shell was black like she was in the tank for a year. Yikes. Wont go back.

DO NOT ORDER SNOW CRAB. Ordered Snow Crab Leg Clusters for an important dinner party. Was shocked to see what came. No clusters were in tact and it was discolored. Contacted company immediately who would not take back for a refund. Their reasoning was that it was safe to eat! I expected much better. And, they wanted to retain us as a customer, which I didnt like feeling forced into. There is no way I was going to serve this at our dinner party. After much discussion with a customer service manager, we received a partial refund and a credit for future purchase. We ended up having to go out last minute and purchase alternative food for our party. Later that week my husband saw snow crab that looked awesome at Safeway, and it was less than half the price. You can see a comparison below in the photos. Discolored pieces are some of what was received from MaineLobsterNow. Intact healthy-looking legs are Safeway.

The website was easy to navigate and their pricing was terrific. We got our lobsters, clams and haddock exactly when expected. We had just one clam that looked a little suspect so we pitched it, but thats better odds than buying clams and mussels at a grocery store here in Michigan. We steamed the clams with white wine and garlic. They were delicious! The lobsters were also perfect! After eating our fill for dinner I turned the leftover lobster into a salad with leftover roasted corn. The haddock was put in the freezer immediately upon arrival to save for a few extra days to enjoy it later. Even after being frozen and thawed, the haddock was amazing. I baked it Gloucester House style and it was flaky and moist. Will definitely be ordering from Maine Lobster Now again!

I ordered two 1.5 live lobster and several king crab legs. They arrived on the day and exactly the time that was promised. Great company, highly recommended if you are looking to order seafood, great company and great customer service.

I cant comment on their actual product - but I CAN tell you that they have handled my request for refunds due to inclement weather conditions, out of their control, with a very high level of professionalism and grace under pressure. The recent winter storm systems that have rocked Tennessee, Texas, & most the country resulted in a non delivery of our lobster tails for Valentines Day. They refunded the entire order and even gave us a credit for future orders. Brad was our customer service rep and he was patient and very helpful, at a time Im sure where they were experiencing higher than normal call volumes, full of similar issues. We WILL be ordering with them again, once the weather calms down. Looking forward to trying their product. Thank you!

After a recent trip to Maine this summer, we were craving lobster again and found Maine Lobster Now and we are glad we did. Who would of thought you can have fresh Maine lobster for dinner the next day at a very reasonable cost. All 15 lobsters arrived VERY alive and on time. I ordered 4 lbs. of the the frozen lobster knuckle and claw meat in order to serve to my landlocked family in Ohio lobster rolls over the Thanksgiving holiday. I am originally from Maine and know what good lobster is and my in-laws and cousins are not quite as schooled in the art of Maine lobster and I treat this as a pride thing.The lobster meat I received was soggy......this is NOT how you start out a good lobster salad for lobster rolls. However, the biggest embarrassment was that each of my 4 extended family members ate one lobster roll, and to the person found no fewer than three pieces of shell in their lobster meat. My sister-in-law actually found a 1 shard of claw shell in hers.Living in VA myself, I struggle to get quality lobster meat on a budget. Bayleys is also my go-to, but I simply couldnt afford their pricing this time of year. I will never order lobster meat from Maine Lobster Now again and I caution anyone else who is considering it.UPDATE 12/12/2020: Maine Lobster Now reached out to me and sent me not just 4, but 5 lbs of replacement lobster meat. I was honestly expecting the same experience, but was pleasantly surprised to find that this shipment of meat (at least the 1 lb we tested), contained ZERO shell fragments, had the proper consistency and did not smell at all fishy. I want to publicly thank Maine Lobster Now for making this right for my family and I, and I will drop them from my #$%% list.

I ordered sea scallops, clams and mussels for an order total of $110. The order arrived on time, but when I opened the package the paper bags that had been storing the mussels and clams had broken down due to the moisture and the shellfish were all rolling around individually in the box. The shells of the clams and mussels were wide open. I ended up getting rid of the scallops due to uncertainty on the quality based off the rest of the order. They did refund my clams and scallops, but not the large shipping cost. I felt that due to the damaged product I should have that refunded. I ended up spending $110 and only was refunded $30. I was told management would review my complaint, but I never heard back.

We received a gift/work bonus with Ahi tuna in it and it smelled rancid. Fresh fish should never smell fishy, only old fish does. Called the company to have the issue rectified and was on hold for over 15 minutes. They gave me the $45 dollar credit they owed for the rotten fish, but I will have to spend at least $55 more to not have to pay for shipping again. They entire box was covered in the smell fish juices and so we had to hand wash all of the other products to be able to store them in Our freezer. Go to you local fish monger, I guarantee their fish will be better then what you get sent from this place.

You Only Live Once. Without hesitation, everyone should order fresh Maine Lobster from Maine Lobster Now. The photos here are 4 lbs of lobster claw and knuckle meat. Shown are 9 lobster rolls and there was enough to make at least 9 more and you can see they were pretty well loaded. Yes, it was expensive but worth every penny. I have to say that the shipping was right on point and the gentleman taking my order over the phone was very knowledgeable and helpful. Great business!

Ive ordered from Maine Lobster Now, several times over the past year. Due to the pandemic, traveling to ME this year seemed neither wise, nor responsible. Instead, we brought the best of Maine to our dinner table, and Maine Lobster Now was invaluable in making this happen. $300 Lobster order with free shipping which is nice until you miss the fact that there was an additional $6 insurance charge that you have to opt into. Lobster showed up 2 days late with no ice and warm lobsters which had to be thrown away. This was a delivery service issue and not the fault of the shipper.Update: The customer service representative was very nice and offered to resend my order. Im happy to have received the new lobster tails and they were delicious!

My son and his wife are from Maine, but now live in Tennessee. They both love fiddleheads, so we surprised them with fiddleheads and (3) 11/2 pound lobster for his 55th birthday. They were shipped overnight by UPS, arrived when promised fresh and delicious. The customer service was awesome.

My order of 200 dolars in lobsters didnt arrive yesterday for the mothers day. Purchase was done 7 days ago. I contacted the seller 4 days ago and they re-assured the delivery was ok. Now I have no lobsters for 2 mothers, and this seller didnt even advice the shipment was delayed or anything. Really poor service and untrustfull company. Trusting a nice web site and Good price had a high cost to me.

I can not caution strongly enough against ordering lobsters from Maine Lobster Now. I ordered nine lobsters from them. The ordering process was simple and well designed and the price was pretty good, however, everything else was less than desirable. Nine lobsters arrived on the requested date, however, they were not packaged as described on the site with seaweed - only gel packs, bubble wrap and cardboard. One lobster was DEAD on arrival. I called their support, talked to a representative and was told that sometimes this happens, it’s too late to do anything about it and that I should have ordered extra lobsters to account for this. Needless to say, pretty disappointed that a ‘live lobster guarantee’ actually means order extra because ‘sometimes this happens’.I removed the dead lobster from the batch and stored the rest according to their specifications (with the exception of seaweed since they weren’t packed with any). I went to cook the lobsters four hours after they arrived, however, by this time I had one more clearly DEAD lobster and another TWO lobsters that appeared to be DEAD or almost dead as they were not moving at all but with a small bubbles coming from their orifice.I contacted their support again, described the situation and was given a refund for a single lobster. We ordered enough lobsters for our dinner party and unfortunately we wound up with five lobsters for nine people and a $23 refund. I’ve been hosting a lobster boil every year for about eleven years now and this is the first time that I’ve used this company and the first time I’ve had any dead lobsters let alone four. Their packaging seems to be inadequate and not even up to their own standards listed on the site while their customer support is useless. Again, while it might be tempting to take advantage of their free shipping, it is clearly free for a reason.

Carmella F. was very professional and pleasant to work with. They replaced the order for us with no charge and the lobsters came on time and fresh. Ordered on Wednesday morning 2-10-21 for next-day delivery on Thursday 2-11 even though the event wasnt till Saturday 2-13 (I wanted to build in time in case of shipping or delivery issues). Order status never advanced from Ready for Processing and I had to scramble to source my food elsewhere for our Valentines-eve meal. Received a generic email on Friday 2-12 (a full day after my order was supposed to arrive mind you) which said there was a big storm and they wouldnt be able to fulfill my order.I was refunded in full for this order on 2-21-21 after replying to the 2-12 email.On 2-24-21 I received an email from the company apologizing and providing more details as to what went wrong on their end and offering a small credit towards a future order. This has allowed me to update this review from one star to four stars. Will give them another try, hopefully this was truly a freak incident.

Great price on live Maine lobsters with Saturday shipping. Lobsters were delivered on time - packaged well. I tried to feel sorry for cooking them, but they were too delicious!! Will definitely order again!

I recently had a bad experience with Maine Lobster, but what I appreciated most about them is their willingness to correct the issue as quickly as possible and their customer service is awesome!! Carmella is a gem!! I will definitely order again. Their lobster tails and scallops are extremely fresh and tasty.

Sent (2) 2 1/5 lbs lobsters with 2 lbs of steamers to my mom and stepdad in TX. They arrived just as they said, perfectly packaged, cold, and alive as hell. They absolutely loved them and my mother being from Milbridge, ME is a stickler when it comes to seafood...especially lobsters. I truly recommend this company and will definitely use them again.The photo is obviously after they were cooked and unfortunately she didnt send me a picture of the steamers done up, but she said they were amazing.

When you open the box its smells like the seashore in New England, thats what my wife said. The lobster was amazing. Truly the best part was sharing this with our friends. We were able to deliver some locally (we live in California) and that was special. The best part if you ask our kids were the Whoopie Pies. If you have spent anytime in Maine you know these are the greatest dessert ever! This company delivers as promised.

We ordered 15 live lobsters, fairly priced and delivered on the specified day. FedEx was late delivering the package, but that is not the fault of the company. I did call just to let them know it was arriving later than promised and the customer service rep was wonderful in explaining how they were packaged, etc. It eased my concerns and they all arrived alive!! We did cook them the next day and all survived the night (in original packaging and in fridge). Cooked them according to directions provided by seller - they were PERFECT!!! We will definitely use this company for all our lobster orders.

We ordered 14 lobsters for dinner tonight. Our lobsters came early in the day in plenty of time for dinner. We live in Virginia but grew up in Maine - this lobster did not disappoint. Lobsters were packed with meat! All 14 were super lively. Everything was packed perfectly. Will be ordering for my sons graduation parties soon! Highly recommend!

I have to say this is THE best lobsters EVER. I got scallops this time too and they didnt disappoint. The staff helped me pick out the right item and the shipping was amazing. My lobster and crab arrived on ice and good and cold. Try them, they DO NOT disappoint!!

Products are promptly delivered and wonderful quantity. HOWEVER their website payment pages - BEWARE - It gets stuck in a loop of confusion if you are not sending to same address as billing address- You need to continually refresh- There doesn’t appear to be Any Customer Service - I was on hold 55min - On-line Chat is only prepared to answer basic questions- emails are not responded to. Extremely Irritating!

Sent 2 lobsters as a Christmas gift. The recipients said “they were so sweet and tender. Yum! Yum!Yum!”. They arrived exactly when they were supposed to arrive. We are very happy! Thank you!

I have no complaints. I ordered the crab claws, lobster mac and cheese, shrimp chowder, and Lobster bisque. The soups and mac n cheese were good, however, would have been perfect if a little more sea was added. But definitely the flavors were there. I do think the soups maybe a little pricey for two small servings. The crab was very fresh, meaty, and tasty. I gave them a four as the order was exactly as expected and delicious .Im on my second order so stay tuned.

Dont bother ordering from this site. We ordered lobster tails that were supposed to arrive on February 13th. They came a full two days late, completely spoiled. We are unable to contact the company. They dont answer the phone or emails. Stay away!

We have had a most unfortunate experience with this company, and after almost a week without a satisfactory resolution, decided to share our experience. First, to their credit, our order submitted last Friday arrived in Colorado on Saturday morning. Unfortunately, the lobsters arrived dead. The remaining contents were useable; however, soaked in liquid as was the entire box when opened. We followed the company protocol as directed and sent photos of the dead lobster as proof. Beyond the fact that a highly anticipated birthday meal was essentially ruined, Maine Lobster Now will not reship live lobster without our paying for the shipping. I have called and left messages which have not been responded to as all we’ve requested was that they re-ship the lobster. We are nearing a week later at this point. To be fair, the company did respond earlier in the week to offer a credit card refund for the lobster part of the order or a store.credit. We used this company as they guaranteed live lobster delivery. This was an unfortunate experience which we won’t repeat. Had they corrected the issue and re-shipped the lobster as requested, we would have understood that things happen, and that the company is committed to its customers. That has not been our experience to date.

I want to share with anyone who thinks that Maine lobsters now is all about their customers or customer service. Most companies pride themselves on return customers. Not here. Thats apparent. I ordered 3 pounds of lobster tail meat. I contacted them and told them when I received my three separate packages, which also means its not cooked to order at all, there was quite a bit of water in each bag. I lost alot of meat weigh to water. When I expressed this to them I would have thought anyone who supposedly cares at all about their customers and puts their customers satisfaction first would have either offered to refund some of my hard earned money or even a discount on my next purchase. Not here. Told me they would let their warehouse department know and just blew me off. You really think this place has a warehouse department? And if they do you think it will matter? Dont make the same mistake I did. PLEASE. How they even got close to 4 stars baffles me. Cant wait to hear their reply. This should be good.

Seriously, spent five minutes on the phone discussing what day to have a delivery so the lobster would stay alive. Charged me for the lobster, but the order did not include it. (Despite the total somehow including the lobster price). So I ended up spending $90 for 1 lb of clams. Tried to call, waited 45 minutes but nobody picked up. Sent an email,no response.BTW, this is the second time we have ordered from them, both times a bad experience, but they refunded our money the first time. So we thought we would give them a second chance, NEVER AGAIN.

Ordered 3 lobsters for my sisters special birthday. 2 of the 3 were not alive and the third smelled terrible when cooked. The box was opened within 30 minutes of delivery. I called as soon as I was notified by my sister and when I called they asked for photos, which were emailed within minutes. They are now saying I cannot have a refund as the pictures did not show the lobsters on their backs on a flat surface. We were never told that, and the refund policy does not specify that they must be pictured on their backs on a flat surface. This is also NOT in their instructions in their refund policy. DO NOT EVER USE THIS COMPANY THEY ARE NOT HONEST AND DO NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR PRODUCT>

Gave these losers another shot at redeeming themselves. We got our seaweed and steamers in the delivery and no lobsters! What do I do with that? They wouldn’t even refund the order!!! This company is junk!!!!

This place is awesome I order live lobsters all the time and theyre at my house the next day great company.

We usually order lobster on our wedding anniversary since that is what was on the menu at our wedding. I am from New England and have ordered from many other sites after we moved to Iowa and I can tell you this is the best one. Sure they forgot a couple things in our order and the packaging wasn’t great but the lobsters were alive. Customer service was great they refunded some of the amount we paid for the missing items. After that we cooked these guys up and they tasted amazing! The only time I have had this quality of lobster was sitting at the lobster pound in New Hampshire on the beach! These lobsters are sweet and meaty; there is no space inside the shells! We will be ordering from here again! I also ordered some haddock. It smells fresh but I haven’t cooked it yet because we are still so full from the lobsters! Our order also came with clam chowder and whoopie pies that still need to be eaten. The price, quantity of food, and the value can’t really be beat.

The quality, if you receive all of it, is excellent. Do not try to add on to your order, even if its 5 days before shipment....as they immediately charge your CC, but fail to send the entire order. The when you call, they give some pathetic reason why they didnt ship it, and why they refuse to ship the balance via air the next day because the balance left over was only 25 dollars or so. Yet we spent 250 for so on the original order. Plus, if you have figured this out...shipping is not really free, you need to spend 100 dollars plus to get it free. There are other places to order from.....just lookaround the web. Finally, they should rename the clam chowder to potato soup, as that what it mostly contains.

Buyer beware, first shipment was wonderful planned on being a repeat customer for a long time. Second shipment I ordered crab leg pieces and received mostly knuckles. Reached out to mainelobsternow seemed very helpful told me they would take care of the problem. Weeks later no response. Once they hook you then they crook you..... I would like to edit my rating to 5 stars. Maine lobster reached out to me and my complaint and made another shipment. Thank you for a great experience.

This was the 2nd order placed and I was very disappointed. I ordered 10ea 4-5 oz. & 10ea 5-6 oz tails and only recieved 1ea 6 oz tail and the rest 4 & 5 oz. What a BIG RIP OFF!!!!!!!!

Our order arrived late and was warm. Contacted the company, left a message with the details, never got a reply. Cant comment on the quality as we never got the chance to try it. Unresponsive customer service.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE order was delivered late...dead seafood and thawed frozen things....they will replace or refund in 3-5 business days....not immediately....worst product protection and that snide child that answered the call said these things happen with zero regard for the frustration, disappointment, and ultimate waste of the situation.... MLN SUCKS
