I altered my wedding dress with Valentina and I was more than impressed. The dress is really complicated with lace and beads and i was really worried about it being spoilt but she did it perfectly. Valentina did an amazing job altering my second hand wedding dress so that it fit like it was made for me! The materials were not easy to work with--silk and a beaded lace bodice--but she patiently and carefully handled it and reattached beads that were falling off. I was so pleased with the result and would highly recommend Valentina to anyone seeking alterations of delicate clothing items.

I bought a custom made maternity gown off Etsy for my maternity pictures. The dress was beautiful and high quality, but not exactly as pictured and some of the measurements were off. I didnt have time to return it so reached out to Valentina. She got me in the next day and after ten minutes had it all pinned and a plan for how to modify the dress to match the pictures. I should mention I am a fairly experienced dress maker, but dont have time and its been years, so I didnt trust myself to make the alterations. I knew what I was asking of her was not simple given the complexity and quality of the dress. Valentina told me she could have it back to me in one week and she was spot on. The dress was perfect and fit exactly how I wanted and the cost was beyond reasonable. She does outstanding work, is professional, and is very communicative!!

Brought in my hoodie fit a simple seam fix on the cuff and they were able to do it while I waited since it was a quick job! Friendly staff!! I would come back and highly recommend for all your alteration, sewing repair needs!

Valentina did a fantastic job on my wedding dress. The whole process from start to finish only took a month. I had four fitting sessions in total because the material of the dress was not particularly easy to work with, but not once did Valentina get frustrated or rush through the work. She was more than happy to work around my schedule for fittings as well. Her work was also incredibly affordable. I highly recommend her!

INCREDIBLE!! If you want to replace the fur on your winter coats....go to Valnetina!!! I ordered the replacement hood fur on Amazon and Valentina worked her magic and fixed three hoods. Two I had ruined in the dryer and I loved the coats so much that she and I found a solution to replace the fur. My coats look run way ready now and they are buttoned on to the hoods so I can interchange the fur depending on my look. Saved three coats for under $100. ♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡

This review is long overdue. In September, I needed my husbands suit pants altered quickly. Long story - but we only had a small window of time from when we got the suit pants to when we needed them altered. Valentina took the pants and altered them in only a few hours! The price was very reasonable and she did an amazing job! I highly recommend!

She also managed to alter both dresses without either of us seeing the others (we wanted it to be a surprise on our wedding day). She is lgbtq friendly and wonderful to work with. She did an amazing job. A little background: When my former tailor left for New York, I was worried that I wouldnt find another good alterations place with fair pricing, and I was looking to get a rather complicated hem-job done. Valentina charged far less than everyone else quoted me for that hem job and did even better work than my old tailor. You cant tell that the dress was altered in any way. Not to mention she got the job done super quickly. I am totally coming here from now on, and sending all my other friends here, too.

Valentina has been doing all of the alterations for my large family and many friends for over a decade. I cant imagine entrusting our clothing, including jeans, wedding attire and business suits, to anyone else! She does beautiful work.

She did an amazing job hemming my wool coat. You cant tell it was hemmed, which is how it should be. I would come back here 100% if I needed something professionally altered.

I asked for my dress to be hemmed so it touched the floor. She said 1/2 inch up so I wouldnt trip on it, I replied no, I want it to touch the floor. When I tried on the dress at pickup I found it is 1/2 inch up, not what I wanted. Since I prepaid I had no recourse. I will definitely not trust them again.

I have used Vals services twice now. I brought her materials for a halloween costume and showed her a picture of what character (Disneys Gaston) I was going for. She absolutely nailed it perfectly and the costume was a huge hit!This time, I am going to be the best man at my friends wedding and purchased a Bonobos suit for it. I brought it here to get it adjusted. Once again, Val did a great job and for a very reasonable price.
