Attemted 3 times to cash a valid check now im told they wont cash it. the company who issusd it had no problem verifying it. dont see what the issue is maybe my appearance? As i have tattoos and a bald head. How can you treat people in this manner ?

My daughter had her first child really wanted to be there but Im on Supplemental Social Security. So went to Rapid Cash process easy, but when payment back came due, my car had broken down needed repairs. Called to see if I could make payment arrangements they were understanding, and be worked with me. With Covid-19 I had used up all my savings and the extra money I have to put out every month just doesnt allow. Me to save anything.Rapid Cash was a life saver during these times.Malynda Mercado

Just closed down all locations suddenly phone number directs you to a call center who knows where with a different name “Speedy Cash” where they try to convince you to do a loan over phone and won’t give any information about Rapid cash closing with no notice all locations in Oregon. Something seems fishy and illegal here! Please respond with any information you may have

I had my check cashed here fast and quickly I was quite impressed of the reasonably low check cash fee which is the only reason why I went there because of the low fee and the employees the ladies at the front desk were extremely nice always smiling. Was so worried I wouldnt be able to cash my unemployment check on account some one decided that they needed my I.D. more then me and took it but they looked up my info on oregon unemployment web page as if I were claiming a week of benefits and used that (along with a old mug shot) unfortunately, to make a proper Id and then cashed it with no issues this place is amazing theyre saying is they will always find a way to try to say yes and Im so very thankful that they do lol

We came in 4/17/2020, greeted with a, *welcome in, it was only one customer standing by the wall, so my son was assisted immediately, there were 3 employees in the windows, my son needed to cash his check, he lost his state i.d?? And needed his money ASAP, we had left slowwww *Ace checks, I called rapid cash before we arrived and spoke with an employee, she said theyll try hard to get his check cashed, just bring in 2 forms of i.d, and he did, the process took about 7 minutes, filled out paperwork, verification, fingerprint, approval and Cash in my sons hand!! First time here clerk Amy notice Im homeless and immediately turns her back on me goes and talks with the other clerk as I wait for 10 minutes while little Spanish speaking clerk talks and talks no-nonsense business to her client as I loudly speak no Wow theres no customer service in here at all, finally Amy comes back over here and and I said oh so youre going to help me now. I told her she has bad customer service manners.

I received my property tax refund from the state of MN. Earlier this week, I was victim of a fraud and my only card was blocked. I am from another country and just moved to PDX with neither friends nor family. Meaning I had 1 dollar to survive until I either get paid or cash my check.I tried US Bank and Walmart before coming here and none of them wanted to cash ny check bc it was out of state and too “large” of an amount (less than $1000). Actually, US Bank just said “NO”Rapid Cash took the time to research about it and they gave me my cash with no issues at all.Thanks to rapid cash and Rachel (sorry if I misspelled it) I will be able to eat and have my life this week. This place doesnt appear to have any customer loyalty after paying off many loans I am told AFTER DRIVING 63 Miles to renew a loan I am asked for information that I didnt bring.When I called I was told I was good to go, but after driving 63 miles I was told they needed to see my bank account and pay stub, which I didnt bring because I was told I didnt need that . I used my last 10 bucks to drive there ...Amazing bad customer service since I have had so many loans with his place

No one else in this city of Portland Oregon would apparently cash my check for some reason even with my exact ID card but Rapid Cash was so friendly and worked with me to cash my check. I will always use rapid cash for future references.

If you bring all the info you need to verify your income on the first visit it goes surprisingly fast. Any visits after that are a breeze and I felt very comfortable.

I am new to this experience of obtaining personal loans on a short basis and was very nervous but Rapid Cash put my mind at ease. They walked me through the process and answered all my questions with easy to understand answers. When time came to repay the loan I was given a heads up that it would be due soon. Rapid Cash on 122nd & Powell has been a life saver. The staff is fast, efficient and kind. The atmosphere is always positive. The store is clean.The patrons are cool.

Customers tend to come unprepared and one or two customers can can create wait times up to 20-30 minutes. Quicker response time when issues arises would help with long wait times. I love this location. Ive had a couple of small loans for with them and both times, my paycheck was delayed and they were extremely courteous, respectful and kind about extending the date by a couple of days because I couldnt pay them. I really appreciate that. Two times Ive been in and there was nobody ahead of me in line and I was helped right away. Another time I went in to make a payment and waited 45 mins in line but, all the employees were hard at work helping people and for there being 10 people ahead of me to begin with, I feel 45 mins wasnt terrible to wait at all. I feel this location is very fast and efficient. I appreciate what theyve done for me and would recommend them to anyone looking to get a payday loan!

Your gals are always helpful and make the whole experience a very positive one! Not always pleasant having to get a payday loan but your staff really makes it a pleasure to work with them. I have seen them have to deal with some not so nice customers, but they always handle them professionally and with respect!

Its good here, pay your loan on time, they treat you good......duh!Its usually really fast, but one prob. is that the sheeple that come here dont quite understand that a person doesnt have to be standing, to still be in line, so there tends to be confusion amongst some people of lesser intelligence.Also, half the times that i have been here, they have country music playing, so half the time when i leave, i want to throw myself in front of a bus.

The line is always super long, but they never have any extra people in there to help out. Most of the staff is really rude, I think Ive been helped out nicely once out of the 5 or 6 times Ive been. They dont want to help you understand whats going on and the important info you need to know they just rattle off their bit and make you rushedly sign papers and get out. Its not my favorite place at all, and I wont be back-- I only went in the first place because well. Emergencies happen.

All empoyees have been kind and efficient both @ Portland and 4th Plain in Washington...I dont know her name but the teller with long reddish hair @ 4 Plain is especially a very kind and gracious young lady.We have never had any problemswith any of our cash advances.They are all truly up front and informative.

Late last year (2017) I received a payday loan at this location as I occasionally would do. The customer service provided was great as always & the loan process was fast & easy as ever. Unfortunately for me, when the pay-back date arrived I was unable to pay the entire amount in-full. So, as expected, I was charged a $30 late-fee in addition, which Rapid Cash took directly from my bank account. All as well at that point. The problem & my reason for giving the poor, 1-star rating, arose a few days later when I noticed that a second $30 charge had been paid to Rapid Cash from my account as well. I immediately called the Rapid Cash customer service line hoping to get everything straightened out & have the extra, unnecessary $30 charge refunded back to my bank account. The nice gentleman on the phone confirmed that my original loan amount PLUS the additional late fee had in fact been paid but informed me that oddly, on his end there was zero evidence of a 2nd late-fee being taken from my account. I explained that my bank statement showed otherwise & inquired what he suggested I should do next. He provided me with the company customer service email address suggesting I write a brief explanation of the issue. He assured me that someone would send me back a response within a few business days & wished me luck. It is now April 2018 and to this day, I have sent multiple emails & made countless calls back to the customer service line. Yet somehow I STILL have never received ANY response or refund what-so-ever! Ive literally been robbed. Luckily it was only $30... but obviously I will never use any Rapid Cash service ever again. They held the potential to earn much, much more than a measly $30 from me just by keeping my business as a repeat customer. Not only has this company forfeited profiting off of My business in the future, I also make sure to tell everyone I know about my experience here and why I recommend they should Never use any Rapid Cash service as well. All-in-all, its definitely their loss in the end!

The workers are very nice....however they movr slow. Ppl usually spend 20 min here, because its slow. They usually have 2 ppl working the counter, and 2 ppl behind them doing nothing. Usually doesnt bother me unless there is a line of 7 ppl and the 2 ppl doing nothing arent helping the 2 ppl at the counter.....but other than that the ppl are nice....its an awesome location 2 min walk from my house.....and its usually clean and friendly place.

Really bad service. I came there for a check cashing, my name on the check was right as my passport. They just said my name on the check wasnt fit on the name of my passport.

Employees spend too much time taking phone calls, leaving customers waiting in the lobby. Have the manager cover all the incoming calls so customers can be waited on.
