A friend recommended Paulins to me and I cannot say enough about it! I am really happy with their customer service and quality of care they put into their work. My car had a tire with a slow air leak...I called ahead to see if they had any time to look at it. They werent booking appointments for another 3 days but told me to stop by and theyd see what they could do. 4 hours later they had a new tire put on my car and it was ready for me to pick up! I was blown away by their efficiency and the clear communication all the way through this process. I was able to pay over the phone as I was still at work when the car was ready, and I picked up my car later in the night. They left the keys for me and even had a protective floor mat and plastic covering draped over my seat! This attention to detail speaks volumes to me about how much they truly care for their customers. I feel so thankful for this place, and their prices are extremely affordable, too. Just returned from having a flat tire tire repaired by Paulin Tire at the Portland location on Congress St. Was greeted by Greg, the manager at this location, and he was able to immediately assign my work to one of his associates. I received a good vibe from this outfit based on what I saw, heard, and experienced as it pertains to their expertise and attitude. If you like Maine, there is a good chance you will like these guys also. Enough said, I think you know what I am trying to say.

I had a flat tire and brought my car here for a new one. They found my weird specialty tire the NEXT day and changed it super fast. They were SO nice. I even told them, I hope I get a flat tire again so I can come back. haha. They said oh you definitely dont need a flat tire to stop by again! Come by anytime! Good people.

These guys are the best! We got stranded in Portland and needed car help. They took us in right away and had assessed and fixed the problem in less than 20 minutes, so we could finish the trek home. Been going here for years. My experience has always been great service, communication, and jobs done right. The rates seem especially reasonable because they only do what is necessary, which I think is not just a matter of honesty, but also of skill and experience.

Even though the shop was busy, they were super friendly and got my flat fixed right away. They even gave the dog a milkbone!

Small and a bit shabby but great service with a smile. They fixed our tire when Sullivan Tire would not, so they have my vote. They even advised us to take a brief walk over to the local brewery while we waited for them to call us when the car was ready! Perfect.

These guys were amazing!My wife and I were driving from Acadia to Portland late at night and we hit a poor animal along the way. After a little while, we noticed a rattling sound coming from the car whenever we would go over 50 mph. We had to drive back down to NJ the following morning, so I took the car over to Paulins early the next day and they fixed up the car for us right on the spot. It was a very minor repair, so they actually did it free of charge! We had no problems the whole five hours down to NJ.Thank you so much guys, God bless you!

As someone who lives out of state, I am always amazed at Gregs ability to remember me twice a year when he installs or Removes and stores my vehicles tires. I love Nokian tires for safety and he found the right ones for me. Always pleasant to work with, so glad I found this place. Oh, and they do great maintence as well.

I would never go anywhere else. This shop has helped me and my car, and my parents with both of theirs for many many years. The crew is very real and honest with you. Weve never been played or mislead by them (weve gotten second opinions before, and they either suggested more work be done or asked for more money than paulins). Between the three of us, weve had I believe 5 cars be serviced here, and I recommend paulins on congress street to everyone!!

Greg the manager of the Congress street location is awesome, I have been coming here for years and they always repair my vehicles promptly and at very reasonable prices. Best repair shop I have ever utilized and only one that I recommend.

These guys are the best!!! Super friendly and incredibly helpful. I was in a bind with a tire that had its sidewall cables break. He had a full day of appointments but slipped me in on the spot. Definitely coming back!

I typically visit the South Portland (Broadway) location. The guys there have always been tremendously helpful--flagging me to issues when I come in for routine stuff (like getting my snow tires put on). The last time they quoted me pricing I checked parts prices online--they were right in-line (or a little cheaper). They work quick and dont milk out the labor charges. Really understanding when I needed to reschedule an appt multiple times. Thanks guys!

Most horrible experience. You need to have excellent credit or else pay right away. I paid $562 for a bad fuel pump and two weeks later my car still isnt starting. So tell me, what the hell did I really pay for. Zero stars if I had a choice! Never again!

Just paid a different shop $1,400 to fix this places mistakes... It is a shame the stuff that Paulins broke had nothing to do with the work they even did.... Went in for a clutch replacement( took 8 days) to pick up a vehicle that wont start and took them an hour of hacking my wiring harness to pieces instead of doing it right.... They said they would only pay for damages they caused if I had them repair it.... Forget that noise. Ill have it done right.... Wont touch my vehicles again I should have known when I went in to check on it and they didnt even lock doors or shut my windows before they left my car in there lot overnight when I dropped it off..
