The moment I entered the quaint NW Portland massage office I felt relaxed, Deirdre is so pleasant and asked great questions to shape the massage to my body’s needs. During the massage she used such tranquil oils. She addressed areas that needed attention and informed me of them as well. I left feeling as if she genuinely cared about me. I had such a wonderful experience that I plan on purchasing an online gift certificate for my friend who is need of a massage. Deirdre is one of the best Portland massage therapist I have encountered and I would highly recommend a massage from her.

I had a massage with Deirdre. The moment I walked in, I felt at peace. The building was very quite, peaceful, and cute. I have had a few massages before, but nothing too incredible. The moment Deirdre started working on my back, I felt like I was floating on the cloud. Literally. It was one of the most peaceful, and relaxing hours of my life. All my stress, worries, and cares floated away during my visit to Veda. This was by far the best massage I had ever received in my life. If you are located in Portland, you have to visit this place. Also, a gift card here would be a great gift for mothers day, or something like that.

Since a couple weeks I am having a Shiatsu massage from Margaret Boyd. It is incredible how this changed my whole perspective on recovery (from an old injury) and awareness of my body. (FYI, This is a review of a massage I received from Deirdre Morrison.)When I went to my massage, I had just come back from a trip, and I was feeling the stress of airplanes, airports, different beds, time change on my body. When I walked in for my massage, my body just felt off. Deirdre made me feel really at home in the office and asked me a few questions about what I wanted for my massage.What was cool is that I could tell she really paid attention to what I had said, because she was focusing on the parts of my body I had talked about. And she seemed to know exactly what my body was going to need based on what I had said. She did some mixtures of massage and stretching simultaneously that released some tension that Im not sure has ever happened. I was walking very differently out the door than when I walked in.Oh, and the massage seemed like it lasted forever! I was shocked that it had only been an hour, because it was a really comprehensive session.This definitely was not paint by number massage. I felt like I got bodywork that was constructed specifically for my body.
