Great location, renovated property, pest-free and safe relative to downtown Portland. Great apartments with maintenance teams that respond within 2-3 days. Everything is streamlined, and having a gated parking lot is nice, too. I feel safe and at home here. There are lots of friendly dogs around, and plenty of space for myself when taking a walk. The fountain park would be nice once they start running water in it again.. it’s a bit bleak right now. I like the large windows that make the apartment feel more spacious. Water pressure & temperature is great.10/10 would recommend.

I moved in a little over a month ago and I have been absolutely loving this place. Right from the beginning the leasing staff was awesome! Ashley listened to everything I wanted and picked an apartment for me that met all my needs. (And while Ashley leads the pack in awesomeness, every person Ive talked to in the leasing office has been great.) The building is clean and quiet. The maintainance people have been speedy when I have asked for anything, And I am really enjoying living here. It is also just one block from the river which is amazing!I will say I was a bit nervous because of some of the not so positive reviews but I think most of this is just because there are two buildings. LInc 301 is the older and less expensive one. Linc 245 is newer. Seems like any issues people have are with the older building as I see a lot of residents in 245 that have moved over from 301 and love it here. Definitely check it out!

We have lived here about 3 weeks now and Ashley - one of the leasing agents - has been absolutely amazing. Any issue Ive had she has gotten back to me incredibly quickly and offered solutions. Yesterday a package of mine got lost and I asked her if she had seen it and she went so far as to personally call the delivery locker providers to investigate and recover my package, all within an hour. Ashley is seriously a superstar!

Our experience with Ashley at Linc245 was phenomenal. We requested a tour, and she went above and beyond to find us multiple units to tour that matched everything we were looking for. When we expressed ambivalence about the best unit, she went out of her way to find us another unit that suited our needs. We are currently in the screening process, but I could not wait to leave a review because of our wonderful experience with Ashley. If you are looking for someone to help you find your perfect new home, call Ashley at Linc245; you will not be disappointed. She uses her personal and professional experience with Linc to find a home perfect for you. Linc245 has some wonderful apartments and amenities and they are always looking to help you find what is best for you!

Where do you even begin, when it comes to talking about the service and support you receive from the Linc crew.. In all my years of renting and dealing with different office management teams (almost two decades now at this point), never have I missed living somewhere because of the people that run it. From the moment I first toured my apartment, to the flexibility and humanity that was extended to me when moving out in the middle of a global pandemic, these guys and gals kept it 100 and consistent. Even to this day I still manage to have items sent by mail to my old address, and they go out of their way to contact me and ask how I’d like them to proceed with it. WHAT?! If you’ve rented before, then you KNOW more times than not you end up frustrated still having to deal with the poor management and communication of apartment offices.. but not these guys. Not when it comes to people like Ashley, who will go the extra mile no matter what the situation, while simultaneously keeping an entire office moving forward and on track. She is an absolute Godsend. I hope the Linc management company knows how lucky they are to have her.Aside from Ashley, Kelsey (who is the office manager) will also be there to make sure your entire experience is amazing, comfortable, and safe. She is consistent in her communication, knowledge, and flexibility in assistance. Without her, I don’t think there would be the immaculate service you receive as soon as you walk in through the doors. Grateful to her, Ashley, and the entire Linc team for 3 years of the best leasing experience I think I will ever have. Thank you for all that you’ve done, still do, and will continue to do for future tenants! Miss you all deeply!

Great buildings and view. The apartments are clean and updated. Great views from the windows as you can see below. The balcony is also a great feature, you can smoke from it should you choose. Only downside is there’s only an AC in the living room but there are fans in the bedrooms.

I tried to respond to the reply on my original post, however there is no option. I did request a tour of a two bedroom. In addition, I spoke with someone to confirm our appointment. We had already seen the appliances, etc. from the pictures, so our concern was the layout. We wanted to see if our furniture would work in the space. As I stated, someone could have reached out in advance, so we could have made a decision on whether we wanted to see the appliances or our potential two bedroom space.

We lived at the Linc for almost two years before we decided to break our lease and move. There were lots of reasons for us leaving, and we truly wish we could’ve left on better terms. We had almost no problems at the Linc for the first year of living there, but then things started to go downhill very quickly. We had new neighbors move both directly above and below us. The above neighbors would be so loud at random hours (usually 11 pm onward, and then 5 am - 7 am), and it could only be described as constantly moving furniture? It was SO. LOUD. So we emailed the front desk and called courtesy patrol and it would stop, only to start again a few days later. After numerous complaints about them to the leasing office, nothing changed. Annoying constant cycle of events. Our downstairs neighbors would constantly throw parties/ get together. Music so loud that it would shake our apartment, yelling so loud from midnight onward, and doors slamming from midnight onward. Not to mention smoking off of their balcony causing our apartment living room to smell like smoke, and these residents would also yell out to random passerby’s out their window and balcony. All after quiet hours. Again, complaints made to the front office and courtesy patrol called. It would stop for a few days and then start up again. Another annoying constant cycle of eventsThere are signs up everywhere for people to have their dogs on leashes, and many of my neighbors didn’t have their dogs on their leashes consistently. I don’t care if your dog is well behaved, what about the other dogs? Then finally our neighbor, who lives TWO floors down from us. Her and her boyfriend (friend? Roommate?) would never wear a mask while walking their (incredibly misbehaved) dog or just walking on the premises or in the building. And they weren’t the only ones not wearing masks.EVEN THOUGH there were MULTIPLE signs up EVERYWHERE and emails sent, they were just snot nosed brats and refused to. The kicker was when this girl’s dog got off the leash and violently tried to attack our dog as well as my partner and I inside the building (and no, she wasn’t wearing a mask when she FINALLY was able to get control of her dog). Though I complained multiple times to the front desk about her not wearing a mask, I was told there was “nothing that could be done”. Nothing that could be done about a rule you made up? Okay, got it.Because we didn’t feel safe from the dog attack, the not wearing masks, and were so annoyed that nothing long term was being down about both our downstairs and upstairs neighbors, my partner and I broke our lease. They allowed us to waive the astronomical almost $3000 fee which was nice, but then hit us with moving out fees that were shady. In the move-out agreement we were told to not cover the wall holes we made, but then they charged us $80 to “fix wall holes”. When we emailed them asking why, they first told us that it didn’t say that anywhere. Then my partner highlighted that section as proof and they came back with “well even if you filled it in we would’ve charged you anyway to fix them”. (What?) And on top of that they said “we should consider the fact that they waived the move out fee when asking questions about the charges on our move out bill”. They also said they gave us a discount on the blinds that were broken in our apartment, but many moons ago we requested maintenance to fix the blinds and they didn’t. SooOooo that could’ve been avoided.Well Linc, maybe you should consider the safety of your tenants. If I had known I could have broken the quiet hours written on the lease, smoked off my balcony, not worn a mask on the premise, and not leashed/had control of my dog, over and over and over again and not gotten in trouble at all, I would’ve done it! Because they don’t fix situations with tenants no matter HOW many times it happens! That being said the apartments are built cheaply, there’s nothing to do around the area, and the walls are paper thin. Unless you like living in a glorified frat house, don’t move here.

Potential resident. My fiance and I recently requested a tour of a 2 bedroom/2 bath apartment. We received confirmation and a reminder text. However, when we arrived, we were told there were no 2 bed/2 bath models to tour. However, we could tour a 1 bedroom/1 bath apartment. It would have been nice to receive a call in advancing, stating the above. Instead of waiting for us to show up for the appointment, assuming we would be okay with looking at an apartment we had no intention of renting. We were already familiar with the layout from the pictures and videos, but really wanted to get a visual on how are furniture would fit the space. Needless to say, we declined the tour. A complete waste of our time.

The staff is always so friendly, maintenance issues are dealt with quickly and the facilities kept clean and up to date. If had a different place it would be 5 🌟!!!Excellent front office staff and maintenance on site. Security patrol checks multiple properties and you can call them if there is a problem. My boyfriend lived here for a year and I would dread coming over to his apartment. Everything at this place has been obviously done on the cheap, despite the exorbitant prices they charge for apartments with consistently broken plumbing and electrical issues. They even made the parking spots in the garage smaller to try to squeeze money out of commuters who dont live at the apartment but pay to park downtown. The common areas are always FILTHY and stained. Theres been times when Im not sure what bodily fluids are present in the elevator, and no one on staff apparently prioritizes cleaning. AT ALL. There was broken glass in the carpet right outside of the elevator for two months before anyone even bothered to attempt to clean it up.The interior of the apartments arent much better. My boyfriends unit was covered in mold the day he moved in, and he was told to spray the mold with bleach, as it wasnt a big issue. Not only are the walls paper thin, but we could hear every movement of the apartment above his. His apartment had a silverfish infestation and I always felt itchy after spending the night there. Cheap, cheap, cheap! And of course, they didnt return his deposit. Stay away from this disgusting complex.

I have lived here for over a year. Heres what you need to know:1. Make sure that any issues with your apartment are fixed before you move in. Getting them fixed after you move in will be a struggle. They didnt disclose to me that I had water damage moving in; I had to learn it from the neighbors and from things breaking.2. They are pet friendly, and have beautiful shared spaces and a gym, and its right next to transit. The location is good and there are bike lanes.3. The leases are flexible; if you like living without one, like I do, pick the shortest term. Its a bit more expensive but youll be month to month before you know it. Please be aware that even if you just signed a new lease the management company will not let you back out to pursue other opportunities.4. The management works really hard to ensure tenants are happy, but theyre understaffed. If you like the location and you like the people around here (which you will) thats just something that you have to deal with. The alternative I guess would be to pay more in rent.5. The parking is awful. Ive had my car broken into and other people have as well. They have incredibly strange parking rules and are not lenient at all even when your car never changes and is there all the time. They will ticket you multiple times and relentlessly until you get a chance to deal with it. This happened to me on vacation and again when I lost my job. The office will make an exception sometimes but most of the time they wont.

I am really happy with my apartment. Ive been here for two years and almost every corner of this complex has been remodeled since I moved in. The lobby was remodeled and the pool was changed to salt water instead of chlorine last year. Its so nice not to have the chlorine anymore. At my last apartment they never invested a dime upgrading anything. Many of the places I looked at downtown seemed overpriced. I think I get a good value here for the square footage, location and amenities. I read these reviews and while some of them may just be differences in experience, some comments were factually inaccurate. The comments about the parking were misleading. Everyone who pays for parking gets a pass to display. If you dont tow people without passes, everyone will try to park here for free and youll never get a spot. Parking downtown is scarce and every complex has to enforce rules in some manner. It is also not true that there is no guest parking here. There is something like 50 spots for guests. My last building had 5. You dont get towed unless youre trying to park without a pass. Every time Ive dealt with the office they have been helpful and professional. I love my apartment, love the new upgrades, and even like (most) of my neighbors. This has been a great place to live.

Honestly, this is the worst place I have ever lived so research before you decide on this place. I moved to Portland from out of town and not knowing the area I thought this was a good place. I was very WRONG, after two weeks into my lease I was already to leave. #1. Even though tenants PAY for parking the building allows tow companies to poach the parking garage and WILL tow your vehicle. Also, there is no guest parking.#2. The location is okay close to PSU, but this place stinks literally. At night I have random smells creep through the walls or under the doors. I believe it is due to no ventilation in the hall ways and when people cook dinner everyone gets a sniff. Trust me it is very BAD!!#3. The office staff is usually pretty friendly, but it is obvious they are dictated by the property management company rules and regulations which means in most cases they are unable to make exceptions or be flexible. So unless you enjoy dealing with companies concerned not with customer service but with only profit do not live here. Portland is a great City with many great places to live, so just trust me Do your research and do not move here. I hope this helps and is my honest evaluation!!

I unfortunately have to agree with the negative reviews, and would not recommend to anyone that I know to live here. The management is challenging to work with, they forget to do things that they said they would do, and they are often just plain rude. One woman told me that I needed to plan ahead better to get to the office in time to pick up packages, which was simply disrespectful as I work 12 hour shifts and the office is only open the plush hours of 10am to 6pm. There is also an infestation of bed bugs, and while they are willing to frequently check my apartment, they keep saying that they dont find any evidence of the bugs so they have not paid for my apartment to be treated, even though I wake up with bites on a regular basis.

Just sharing this from a visitors perspective, there is no place for visitors to park. Its a real pain and you will get ticketed. I was dropping off a friend/Linc-resident after he had surgery. I parked my car and helped him upstairs. I was only parked for a hour an came back to find a $44 ticket. Also, its really awkward to visit someone because its key-fab entrance only. So when he was too sick and weak to come down and let me in ... it wasnt a good situation. They really need to be better towards their residents guests. It reflects poorly on them and I would never consider living here. They make residents physically go to the office during office hours buy a new parking permit every month. This is onerous and leads to residents getting ticketed. Also, they significantly raised the rent on my friend after 1 year. The prices for new renters are INTRODUCTORY. In order to get around it, he signed a new lease for a different unit in the same building. He is actually paying $150/month less with the new lease than if he had stayed in his original apartment. Upper management does not appear to value resident loyality.

I dont know if Ive ever had a worse sting of poor customer service. It started before I even moved in, and it should have been a sign. They had me in over three times to redo paperwork (each time they apparently forgot a sheet, or missed a signature or lost something) and ultimately gave me the wrong apartment. After a very stressful and extremely negative move-in experience I thought at least I would be settled. I attempted to reach out to the manager several times in the hopes to move past the experience, but I was dismissed by the staff. Almost every single interaction I have had with the office staff has been frustrating. They just seem so disorganized. Every visit I make seems to result in some clerical error that needs to be corrected two weeks later, taking both my time and theirs. When the company switched to linc there seemed to be momentary improvement- at least now the company owned up to the few mistakes they made, such as misposting amounts on my bill or sending me the wrong updates. Sadly, after tonight, it is clear to me that the key component this company is missing is customer service. I came in to receive a package, which the office staff could not locate. Simple enough, I was happy to wait- until the staff insisted they were not at fault, and when I mentioned that I had been having ongoing office related issues they dismissed me and said have a good night instead of inquiring further or attempting to resolve any issues. My lease is coming up and I wont be staying on, not because of the building, but because of the staff.
