Easily the best tech/contractor/pro Ive ever had to my house. Jeff was super helpful, super nice, couldnt ask for a better. Great communicator, explained everything really well, diagnosed the issue quickly, fixed it with great care on next service call. Even put up with a bunch of dumb home owner questions, that were super helpful. Price seemed fair, though I didnt shop around after the diagnosis, I knew after the initial diagnosis Id be happy to have a quality pro come back for the repair.

Every aspect of working with these guys was great. The office staff was pleasant, helpful and informative. The scheduler was able to get us worked in quickly and the service technician was excellent. He identified the issue in minutes and was able to help me understand how the different components worked together and how the failed parts played into that. He was able to make all the repairs on the spot and accommodated my request to do a full service on our entire system even though it wasn’t on my work order.It’s the kind of experience we all hope for and unfortunately don’t get as often as we should these days.I will call no one else for any future HVAC needs.Thanks guys.

Dominic installed a mini split system in our small home. The unit was recommended by the Morrison sales team -- and they could have easily talked us into something more expensive but instead they recommended the best option for our 700 square foot home which also was the most cost effective. So far its fantastic! Dominic did a great job on the install - he was very thoughtful on where to place the indoor and outdoor units and explained the best way to use it for energy efficiency. We highly recommend Morrison!

Spent thousands and my ac unit shuts off by itself and our house is regularly hotter than the outside. They cant find any problem or have any solutions. No assurances they could come out on a shorter notice to inspect the system when its failing. Yesterday it was 86 Inside my house and 84 Outside. Ive had cheap window ac units that worked better. BUYER BEWARE!

Scheduled an appointment and they called earlier in a week as an earlier appointment had opened up. Steven was the service technician; he was right on time and explained the steps he would take for maintenance on our two Mitsubishi mini split units. He cleaned and serviced the outside units, then cleaned and inspected the inside units. He helped explain parts of our system that the installers never did. He was very helpful. The receipt included detailed notes from the service call, for our records; I thought that was a nice touch. Everyone I have spoken with on the phone or dealt with has been super kind and helpful. I would definitely recommend them. We will be using them for our mini-split maintenance and service from now on.

We had put our deposit down for a new system, both heat and air. I appreciated the rep. who spent about 2 hours in our home giving us six options, pros and cons of each and the opportunity to ask questions, then choose what is best for us. Two weeks later the a/c broke. In five days a repair fellow came out, put in a new capacitor (?). There was no charge for the part ($225) or service! That is phenomenal and got us through the heat wave until installation. We are two days in and very happy with the install, product and hospital grade filter system we included. Hopefully this will help with fire season. Thanks Morrison!

They did a great install and had quick responsive maintenance when the AC failed during the heat wave. My tech, Jeff, was great - friendly, informative, and diligent. Parts fail. It happens. But being responsive and helpful is what sets a good company apart.

Our installers were Aaron and Brian. They were great. On time, and worked diligently to get the whole install done on time and neatly. They even cleaned up some poor installation from our water heater installer.

After having a bad experience with a different HVAC company, I found Morrison. We have had them come two times now. The first time to help solve a problem we were having and the second time for standard AC maintenance. My experience from beginning to end, scheduling, service, payment, and follow up was excellent. Janet was so patient and helpful the first time I called, helping me figure it if we indeed needed someone to come have a look at the problem or call a plumber. Steven was the service technician that came both times. He was on time, friendly, efficient, knowledgeable and trustworthy. I received excellent service from Morrison Heating & Cooling, beginning with the great communication and responsiveness when setting up my initial estimate to the installation of the AC itself.Aaron and Brian, the installation team, were friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. They found a broken air filter in my furnace and replaced it without charge, cleared up a discrepancy between the initial bid and the work order, and made sure that my wifi thermostat was properly installed and working with my phone and that everything was running correctly. Morrison was more expensive than other places I sought bids from, but this was absolutely worth it for the great service and peace of mind. I am confident that theyll continue to be professional and responsive and will use for future HVAC work.

Our old heat pump needed replacing and Morrison Heating & Cooling provided us a system comparable in equipment to several other bids but several thousand dollar less expensive. There was one issue with the indoor air handler not working properly with the outdoor unit and they were prompt in making that adjustment. We’re happy with their service and recommend them highly.

My furnace stopped working 3 days before our recent February snow/ice storm was about to hit. Morrison was able to come out the following morning after I called to diagnose the problem. I ended up deciding to replace my 24 year old furnace, as the repairs wouldnt have been worth the investment. I also decided to have them replace my ancient and constantly malfunctioning tankless hot water heater as they would give me a bit of a discount for doing both at the same time. By the evening of receiving my quote and scheduling the installation for the following week, Morrison had dropped off 3 loaner tower space heaters to keep me warm while I waited. I was so grateful for them during the storm. Thankfully I didnt lose power! During the storm, I ended up having water dripping through my bathroom fan and sleet blowing in my bathroom! Morrison investigated for me when they came to install the furnace and found that my old bathroom fan was vented into the attic (not to code) and snow/ice had likely accumulated and come in through the roofjack. There was wet insulation in the attic. So I added venting the bathroom fan to my project list. I had a new modern bathroom fan installed by an electrician and Morrison vented it for me directly to the roof. My three projects were all completed yesterday and Im very happy with how everything turned out! Joe, the general manager, was great to deal with and patiently answered all my questions on the phone (and my emails). Jeff, my lead technician, was so friendly and a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend this HVAC company.

Love Morrison used them for mini split in our oldie house. It has been great. Used them for minor improvement to hvac precipitate pumping system which had been unwisely installed by another hvaccompany. Tech Chris came out found a solution and did it. Great!

Called Morrison to arrange a service call. Talked to them to set an appointment, said their service manager would call me back. No call. Emailed them asking for a return call nothing. I know they have glowing reviews but in my case they are not responsible at all. I have contacted Efficiency Heating and Cooling another HVAC company in the area and they are coming out this afternoon. What a difference in costumer service.I just received a return call from Morrison apologizing for not getting back to me. I really do appreciate them making an effort to correct their mistake. I know all HVAC business are very busy this time of year. Ill see how Efficiency Heating and Cooling does.

Wow! I was having water pool up in my basement that I traced back to my HVAC. Starting from my first call with Janet, she was able to get a tech scheduled fairly quickly to check it out. Well one thing led to another and I needed to completely replace my 13 year old system. At first quote I had some sticker shock since it had been a number of years. Steven and Joe spent time reviewing the quote and system with me and after comparing to a few others in town, their price was the best. I never choose on price alone though and it is their service where they really shine. I personally work with Morrison on construction job sites as a plumber and have seen first hand the quality work they do. Which is why when I needed a furnace and A/C install at my personal home they were the ones I called. Wasnt disappointed!

We have minisplits in a new-to-us condo. We didn’t know what regular maintenance for them should be and feel lucky to have gotten an appointment with Morrison. Our technician Chris was knowledgeable and professional and very flexible about how he worked on the 6 units. We have no hose outlet and so what could have been an easy process instantly was more difficult for him. He made it work! So from dingy filters barely letting in air, we are now clean and clear!! And he taught us how to easily maintain the filters ourselves which means fewer service calls. This was truly a great experience - and how often do you say that about your HVAC person and firm?

I recently had a Laundry Pro installed on my washing machine. Morrison Heating & Cooling came out to install it and did a fabulous job! Professional and friendly company. The installer was careful when moving my washing machine and dryer around and even cleaned my floors underneath before moving the machines back into place! He took time to make sure I understood the start up cleaning cycles and then followed up with me the next day. So far, I love the Laundry Pro and Im completely impressed that its cleaning my laundry without any detergent!! I feel good about my small contribution in helping the environment and also cleaning my family and pets wash without any chemicals!

Lack of clarity with billing, invoicing, product selections, had to reach out the company at least 3 times to be told what was being ordered, as the installers arrived at our home and didnt know what they were installing for the first 60 mins they were there. Then we get a 1 item invoice stating due upon receipt....for what?! There is no details about the cost of labour, cost of unit, or why the unit was selected, we had no choice or option...I am beyond perturbed.UPDATEInstallation was done poorly and the solar power only collects the sun for < 5 hours of a 14 hour daylight and no battery backup?! I would advise you to select this company if you want someone to call the shots and not respond to any issues/complaints.

Oren came to do routine maintenance on our furnace. Our finished basement is very cold. Oren said Eddie can fix this. A few days later, Eddie came over and identified exactly what needed to be done. The furnace had plenty of capacity but the ductwork needed to be rerouted. Oren was right: Eddie fixed it four days later (with Seth.) Fair price. Good work. Nice guys all round!! What more could you want? We highly recommend them.

Our furnace (gas) quit last early March. Morrison Heating and Cooling came within 2 days. They replaced and reconfigured the condensation drain system and the furnace within one day! They also removed the old furnace and cleaned everything up. This was all done within the bid estimate and with no problems for us. We were very pleased with the service, work and attention to detail they provided. I would highly recommend Morrison Heating and Cooling.

John Jacobson and the whole Morrison Heating & Cooling teams were wonderful. John helped us when our HVAC failed this summer and steered us in the right direction when finding a new furnace so we could keep our existing A/C unit. Everyone was responsive and helpful. The installation crew spent all day and the following day making sure that the new system was up and running before a heatwave struck. I highly recommend them.

Our furnace went out over the weekend. Instead of paying the weekend surcharge that most companies require, we waited until Monday to see if any companies had same day service available. After about an hour on the phone making multiple calls with no luck, we found Morrison Heating & Cooling and they luckily had a same day appointment!!! I cant sat enough good things about Morrison Heating. We had our heat turned off by NW Natural Gas because of a leak. Called about 4 other companies and they could not come out till next week. Morrison sent some one out that next day and he figured what the problem was after spending a long time at our house, so courteous too! The other companies said that we would need a new furnace and wanted to set us up with an appointment to install it right away!. Morrison took care of it without having to get a new furnace. Todd (the owner) and his crew were really great to work with and I would highly recommend! We had them install both a new hot water heater and a mini-split ductless unit in my shop and I couldnt be more pleased. Their quote was very detailed and thorough, and they were not pushy at all - just giving us exactly what we were looking for in repairs requested within the initial quotes. The install job of both units was very clean and to hook up the wifi on my mini-split the owner and rep even came out to troubleshoot one minor connectivity issue and get things up and running. 3 months after the job, Ill definitely look to them for our continued maintenance on these units as well as our furnace and A/C unit - job well done!

Morrisson sent out 3 techs to remove an old and install a new Furnace and AC unit in a clients home. As a Property Manager I have dealt with a lot of service people and contractors in my 35 years in business. My experience with Morrison was one of the more positive I have had in dealing with a project. Jeff, Greg and Dominic were very professional and good at problem solving. They were courteous and thorough in making sure I understood the new system. The new HVAC unit runs great and is far superior to the older unit. Morrison completed the project in the time frame proposed and left the property clean with all debris removed. I would not hesitate to recommend and use Morrison again.

A fateful cancelation meant I was able to get AC installed a week later in my 1800sq ft house while it was in the 90s. I came home from working all day to a comfortable 75*. When our tenants furnace went out in chilly Sept. I called around to several HVAC companies. Morrison was the only company where I got a real human on my call (the rest wanted voicemails) and scheduled an emergency call after 5pm that day. However, not more than an hour later a Morrison Heating & Cooling van was outside our tenants rental unit! Turns out their tech, Chris, had finished another job early negating the emergency call fee. Chris was quick and professional, diagnosing the problem (bad ignitor) in a few minutes. He showed me the bad ignitor and explained what had happened, then installed a new one and made sure the system was working properly. He also told us how to properly clean the washable filter. Whole thing probably lasted 30 minutes. We will definitely do business with them again. BTW, I loved Chris NY accent! :)

Wonderful, wonderful service and expertice! Morrison fixed my radiant heating unit in my ADU and installed an AC unit in my house. They were cost efficient, professional and timely. I had a very poor experience with a previous AC install and the contrast was dramatic! All of their employees from the owner to the front office staff though to the estimator and installers were first rate! You will save money, time and energy with Morrison! Thank you!

Morrison is a great company and I have been very happy with their work. They worked with me due to time constraints on a large commercial unit that needed valves replaced. Janet in the office is super helpful and Zach, the tech that came out was very knowledgeable and worked late to ensure that my HVAC was up and running when I needed it. I have used this company on multiple occasions now and will recommend them to anyone in Portland who needs HVAC service.

Morrison is fantastic. They installed a new HVAC system and new metal ducts in our basement. Eddie, Vinimin and Seth were absolutely incredible. Their work ethic, professionalism and high level of craftsmanship far exceeded our expectations. All in all, just outstanding. Highly recommend.
