I have used Port Orange Pools for 10 months! I absolutely love them! Paul was so kind to call me back after hours when I was freaking out because my pool was leaking everywhere when I wasn’t even a client of his yet. Danny my service technician is so polite, friendly, and very thorough! I would recommend them to anyone!

Edited to add in response to his response: I was never once told about his rule to leaving the pump on for 8 hrs in a row during the day. His previous employee asked me about it once time and I explained we run it 5 hrs in the morning by itself and several in the afternoon when swimming. He said that was fine as long as the day he came we let it run due to chemicals. Some days it runs for 12+ hours and some closer to 8. PAUL THE OWNER NEVER TALKED TO ME AT ALL ABOUT IT. EXCEPT WHEN HE DROPPED ME THE DAY HE WAS SUPPOSED TO CLEAN.Paul also called me and apologized for the miscommunication and told me it was his fault for not communicating better. He also wanted to come back one more time so the new guy would have a clean pool and filter After cleaning the filter myself I can see exactly why he wanted to come back. The filter had not been cleaned in months. Theres was tons of debris and paint from when we painted the deck more than 3 months ago.IF YOU ARE WITH THIS COMPANY GO CHECK YOUR FILTERS. THEY CLAIM TO CLEAN THEM BUT DONT. MY FILTER LID WAS PRACTICALLY. GLUED SHUT FROM. GREASE.I have been with this company for over 2 years.Then I get a text today that they are dropping me for not having my pump timer set to run at 8 hours. We like it to run while we are swimming. So it doesnt need to run the whole time when we arent.Instead of him calling or texting me I get a text he is dropping me the day he is supposed to clean it. He did not clean it, he just left and left me a unprofessional text saying last week was my last cleaning. Very unprofessional.Not once sis he explain to me that the pump needed to run 8 or more hours in a row during the day. Last guy said it just need to run for a day right when they put chemicals in it.After 2 years this is how you treat your customers. Wow.

I have had Paul and his company for about 2 years now and they have been fabulous, punctual, great communication and great service. I know nothing about pools and Paul the owner is always very prompt with returning calls and walking me through my questions. For example when I needed to drain my pool down before storms, or trouble shoot when my pump wasn’t working. He is competitively priced and also gives options to help save money with upgrades when needed. I have called during off hours and he has even been responsive. I had a demo project recently which made excessive mess to my pool and he never charged me extra nor did his technicians ever complain. I would highly recommend!

This company is professional and courteous. The owner is super responsive and the man who serviced my pool does a phenomenal job. Any time I have had a question or concern they treat it like a priority and handle it immediately. Would recommend again and again!

I highly recommend Port Orange Pools. Eric has been cleaning our pool for the past 5 years and we are extremely pleased. Always prompt, responds quickly if a problem should arise.

I am not sure why this man has a bad review. He is great! He comes like clock work and I never have to bother or worry about my pool! Today I text him and said I had a feeling something was wrong cause the pool was turning green. He immediately came right over. Changed my filter cartridge and balanced all of my chemicals. I was so happy with his customer service I will never use anyone else. I will recommend him to anyone who asks about a pool guy!

I am a new pool owner and ask some pretty silly questions. Paul is patient, knowledgeable and courteous. I never have to wonder what is going on with my pool because his communications skills are right on! I have no hesitation recommending him. Honesty, integrity and great customer service get my vote every time.

IRRESPONSIBLE and UNPROFESSIONAL. Im a business owner myself and have a great customer service. I take responsibility of my services and if a mistake is made from my part, I correct it. After all we are all humans. I was the client for this company for 2 years. In December I had a landscape company adding mulch to the property and they added some to the area where the pool machinery is located. 4 months later my pool machinery burn out. I called Paul and he came to the site a few days later. According to Paul, (the owner of this company) he said that the mulch caused the machinery not to breath and I would have to replace the machinery. I asked him why he didnt tell or removed the mulch since he checked the machinery 16 times before it died; He SIMPLY QUIETLY TURNED AROUND, GOT IN HIS CAR AND LEFT WITHOUT SAY ONE WORD AND NEVER CAME BACK leaving me with the expense of $500 dollars. Horrible communication.

We had our pool installed last summer. Port Orange Pools has taken fantastic care of our pool ever since. Like mentioned in other reviews, Paul and his team are professionals, punctual, and awesome to work with. I would highly recommend them to anyone in the area!

We had previously used a different pool company and CONSTANTLY had a problem with yellow algae. Weve been using Port Orange Pools for over a year now and have only had a couple instances of the dreaded yellow algae. If there is a problem, someone always comes right away to take care of it. We highly recommend this growing small business.
