Very nice place for watching the ships and other watercraft on the St. Clair River! Inside the building is areas for viewing ship info and artifacts!

Great online I can go and see what boat is going past my house or under the bridge and its details and destination The new webcam is amazing for watching the boats and chatting with other watchers Physically it is a great spot to watch boats get a bite to eat get educated and it is handicapped accessible

Always a fantastic Place to Watch Ships. And a Person no matter your age can gain great Knowledge here learning about Ships & Boats & the Black River & Port Huron & the St Clair River & much more. There is never a time to say I learned it all & know it all. No. A Person can learn Something new all the time & at anytime. Lots of great Volunteers Work here Announcing the Arrival of each Ship & Boat . The Volunteers here have lots of Knowledge to Share too. This Place is so fun & relaxing too. You wont want to leave this Place. When My Brother & I & Parents ( when they were alive then ) we would come & Enjoy & Unwind & have a great time together as Family. We would come to The Boatnerd to come Ship Watching. We would even sometimes play some Cards too. We loved Our Times Together as Family at The Boatnerd & in Port Huron. And loved to Watch the Ships come & go Up & Down The River. And then we would always be looking up at Our Friendly , great Ally Country Canada & Sarnia we loved looking out over there too. We all had Great Times. Great Memories. My husband also, came a couple times too with us to Enjoy Port Huron & The Watching of the Ships. Our Parents are gone. Passed away both suddenly. My husband passed away suddenly too. But, one thing is for sure Our Family Traditions continues. Going To Port Huron & Watch The Ships Come In & Go. GO Up & Down The River too. So, my Brother & I keep the Traditions a going. I always & forever will Highly Recommend Boat Nerd & Port Huron & our beautiful Sarnia, Canada too. Ahoy ! SAILS AWAY !!!
