Ive been there several times, They always offer me something to drink and make sure that Im comfortable.. I always get the pink and white nails and the deluxe gel pedi. Lily is the best, she gives a great foot massage and my nails always look beautiful.

My second visit today, and most definitely not my last. Gifted a friend to a mani pedi based on my last visit. We were so excited to share the experience together. They delivered!! I’d like to share the name of my amazing, skilled and professional person who treated me to the best mani pedi, but I’m selfish sometimes, and want to be sure that person is available. You know who you are. Oklahoma!

I was a loyal customer however l will never go back to Galaxy , last month I was there and was not satisfied terrible customer service . My nails turned a dingy brown color I had ombré top cote was done wrong the girl “Ashley” refused to fix my nails because the man who did my nails the previous day was not there “Ashley “ asked me to come back later when there clearly was no one there at the moment... Would give 0 stars if possible.

The other day was my first time to Galaxy Nails and Im so glad I chose them. Its a beautiful salon and big! The decor is modern & stylish along with a very comfortable atmosphere. Im not always able to get to the salon when I want to because kids come 1st but I arrived thinking I would just have enough time to get my brow wax & pedicure & go on with my evening.....Nope!!! Queen & the rest of the staff were amazing and I got my nails done too so I wouldnt have to come back. So I really appreciate how accommodating they were for me on top of doing a beautiful job on my nails as well. I definitely recommend Galaxy Nails to all my friends & family!!! 😊💅💗

The original staff from last year are fantastic. The owner was there last time I was and him and his new staff are less than pleasant. Put an obvious pall over the atmosphere. Everyone was afraid to act fun and happy. Question if I go back.

An amazing place for a pedicure with an array of options. Relax and enjoy a glass of wine and a fun atmosphere if that is your thing! This is the first place in forever that has had quality acrylic that has stuck to my nails and can actually make it 3 weeks between fills. Phillip and Triana always provide beautiful style nail art to top it off.Only down side feels a little stuffy when the owner is present.

Made an appointment for pedicures for 4 people. They said they could take us all together. We got there on time and we waited past our appointment for them to finish with others. They then took the person that was there before us and the 4 women that came in behind us. We waited a total of 40 minutes and when we started questioning why they did that and getting irritated, they moved us to the back room. They sent 1 guy in to do all of us one at a time. When we questioned that, he acted like he didnt know what we were asking, left and didnt come back. After an hour, we left and went to a different salon. My mother and aunt recommended this salon and were faithful customers. They wont be back either.

WOW!! LEE was amazing, (covid time) they cleaned all the chairs even cleaned the pens and had a dirty pen box to put in after every use they’re truly amazing

Great service! The salon is clean and so beautiful to be in. They have all the newest and trending colors. The staff is very patient and knowledgeable. If someone can not do a service you are told and given to the next person that can. They even fixed my nails after another salon messed up.

Had a few bad experiences here. Went a few days ago to get a manicure and pedicure. While getting my pedicure the guy forgot to scrub my feet and clean my nails. When I said to him hey you forgot to scrub my feet and clean my nails he laughed at me. I told the staff at the front counter and they said well don’t tip him. I paid for my services and left. I reached out the company again and no response.I’ve been there well over 10 visits and get inconsistent results. My nails don’t last long. The nail techs talk to get other the whole time loudly, which makes the experience hard to relax.

I was very pleasantly surprised by this establishment. The spa is beautiful and very clean. The staff is friendly. The tech that did my nails Stephen, was very attentive and I felt that making sure I was happy was important to him. I was given a bottle of hand lotion with a Merry Christmas and a Happy New year wish. I will return for sure.

Im very glad I switched from my former nail salon to galaxy nails.Update 3/2/2019: Still very pleased with the quality and service.Update 1/11/2020: The salon just went from a 5 star to a 1 star because of the way we were treated as walk-ins!!! Apparently the only time you can get the people who usually do your nails is if you call ahead for an appointment they no longer treat you the same as a walk-in as they do when you call ahead.We were rushed out of the salon with the polish not even being dry!!!THIS IS HOW THEY TREAT THEIR REGULAR CUSTOMERS WHEN DUE TO AN EMERGENCY WE WERE UNABLE TO CALL AHEAD - APPARENTLY THE ONLY WAY YOU GET TREATED PROPERLY IS WHEN YOU CALL AHEAD!!!!!!

Had a really great experience visiting Galaxy Nails for the first time. Very nice, clean and welcoming business. Long did my pedicure as well as my pink and white new set. I could not be happier. A big shout out to Arizona. Arizona is the receptionist and is very personable. She walked around and spoke to everyone. She is a valuable asset to the business. Hard to believe it was her first week there.I will return when visiting Port Charlotte again.

If I could give this place no stars I would. I only write reviews when I have a really great experience or when I have a really bad experience and unfortunately, I had a really bad experience at this nail salon. I decided to come here because it was close to my house. I got my nails done and tipped Jennifer only for a day later one nail broke. I came in .. someone else fixed it and I left. The very NEXT day... four of my nails broke. Totaling 5 nails that broke in only two days of having them done. I have gotten my nails done for YEARS... at city nails, five stars and even in Sarasota and I have never experienced my nails breaking so easily,fast and so many. So I came back in they called me in the chair and I sat and waited and asked how long it would be and then Jennifer rushed over to me and began to say that I have to wait she has customers with an attitude... ( like am not a customer as well) & then she began to ask what I did to break the nails ... and I explained to her simply nothing. The entire time I felt uncomfortable and rushed because I could tell she rather have been doing something else instead of fixing my nails. Then she got up and left .... instead of finishing it. So I just left at this point. I paid $35 Full Set Acrylic.. which is a little higher then most places, tipped her $3 ... and had 5 nails broken within 2 days and was treated like I wasn’t a customer just like everyone else. Their are better nails salons in Port Charlotte. I would recommend sticking with Five Star or City Nails.

This is by far the best nail salon I have ever been to. I went exactly 21 days ago and got gel done on my nails. They are still in perfect condition. The gentleman who did them was very nice. I cant say enough good things about this place!

My pedicure technician seemed distracted and seemed unable to understand my concerns about pain in my legs (varicose veins). She sanded my big toe too much so that it is red and sore. I will try another place before returning for my next pedicure.

I’ve been a frequent flyer here. But I won’t be back after my last couple of visits. They don’t acknowledge you when you walk through the door and sometimes they ignore you all together. They don’t ask why you are there and what services you need. I realize that appointments take priority, but don’t dismiss walk ins either. I’ll take my money elsewhere.

I really loved this place when I first started going. It’s clean and efficient and the staff does a great job. However, after today (my birthday) I will never go back. I was seated in my pedicure chair and this woman was blasting a video on her phone. It was my first day off in three weeks and I just wanted to relax so I asked her to turn it down. Instead, she turned it up and I asked the staff to say something. They wouldn’t. The woman then proceeded to scream at me and tell me that I was the one being rude and then yelled “F*** you, you’re f****** rude and it went on and on. I pulled my feet out of the water and left. I called 10 minutes later and asked why they let her stay and I was told they had to service all their customers. Well, congratulations. You get to keep her. I will never give another penny to that place. I am very disappointed in their response to this woman.

Had a pedicure there once, it was great, had a fill today from a man , the worst fill I ever had , his file looked like it has been used since the first day the place opened, all my nails were rough in even and looked ridiculous, I Didnt want to complain so I left got to my car and they were just so horrible I had to go back in and complain he argued with me and told me that my nails were not crooked that my fingers were crooked.I will never go back there again I called to talk to the manager and they said he was not in.HORRIBLE customer service.!!!!!!!!

Austin gave me a deluxe pedi and it was truly deluxe -- great foot leg massage, nice products, very relaxing. I have a big toe with severe nail fungus, but he dealt with that appropriately and made it look 100 percent better. I will definitely go back for more!

Staff always does a great job, no matter which technician you have! Front deck staff is very welcoming and helpful! Place is clean and you can still give a tip even if you pay with a card!

Probably the absolute worst pedicure and manicure Ive ever had. Ken did my nails and through my entire time there he sat on his phone. While he was doing my nails he made my cuticles bleed because he wasnt paying attention to what he was doing. The massage for my pedicure consisted on him essentially just petting my legs with lotion. Theres was no massage involved whatsoever. Definitely wont be setting foot in this establishment ever again.

Brought my friend and I in for some pedis (which came out great, only reason for 2 stars) and to get our acrylics filled in. Both of us having pictures of what we were looking to get they said they could do them with no issue. After already starting they decide to tell my friend they don’t have any of the colors she needed for hers, they refused to use red for my nails and said orange looked better. None of our nails are the same size or shape. My design looks almost nothing like what I showed them. We paid 20 extra each for gel nails it’s been 5 days and the gel is peeling off 2 of my nails and bubbling up on multiple of the others. We heard this was the best nail salon around and we were highly disappointed 😔

You know... the girl who did my nails was certainly pleasant enough... but my brand new acrilic nails look like they were a week grown out already and had a disease as i was walking out... i shouldnt have paid for them but I kept my mouth shut and figured I paid for a full set when only a fill was done...and a bad fill...as the colors had me dazzled at first later I could see how bad they really looked... lumpy bumpy...not smooth at all and shaped from oh i dont know... hell maybe... I know this is harsh but I was angry that they charged me for a full set and I only got a fill... good luck with that...

Went in 2 days ago. Asked to have my gel polish removed and a fresh color with a mani. The girl filed my right hand nails WAY too much, they looked awful and became very brittle. They were so weak that I had to have her file them shorter in order to regain some strength. Also my initial color was Twinkle Little Star and does not have much pigment in it. After seeing my nails much shorter I had to change my color. Before she did the next hand I explained that I did not like how much she filed and that it was making my nails too thin & weak. Mind you I am Italian and have thick hair & nails naturally... so typically gel polish is perfect for me as long my nails arent over filed. The next day, (yesterday) my right finger nail (paint) came off and left me with a hang nail, it happened right after 7, so I waited to go back this morning. After speaking with multiple salon employees about the matter, I found that each of them argued what I told them. Telling me it was my nails that are too thin without even looking. Reasoned that she only shaped them. It seemed like pulling teeth just to get a fix that was necessary due to the condition my nails were left in. Then another employee named Michael came to our station and stared at my body, not my nails after I became very uncomfortable Kathy who was doing my nails hit him multiple times asking him to leave. I asked him if I could help him very angrily, which he followed with a compliment that my nails look nice. I felt that this was very off topic and sarcastic considering he was looking nowhere near my nails. The treatment I received this afternoon was extremely unprofessional. I have been to multiple salons across the nation, in this town, and surrounding area. I have never had so much back talk over an issue caused at the salon. Whenever I have had an issue previously (not common) it was fixed in a jiffy with a great attitude. The way I was spoken to, argued with, and overall treated was truly traumatic. I will never go back again, and I warn everyone to watch and pay attention. I dont know that they are purposefully trying to file thin in order to break polish and have repeat fixes but that would be a highly profitable notion, as well as a terrible business ethics. You vote with your dollar, and I dont appreciate this sort of service.

Been going there for months, and they were great up until today. I had to go back because three of my nails tips fell off out of nowhere and Id just got them done the day before. They left pink and black nail polish on my skin, the guy was not very kind, and charged me even more money when they messed up. I will never be going here again.

I just went in today to get my eye brows waxed as I usually do, and the girl got hot wax all in my left eyelid and a bit in my left eye. I wear contacts, and that could blind me. Then after she wiped my eye out, and still had me pay full price! Won’t ever go back to this place!

I kept trying to get a different person to do my nails, but it was impossible! English is good until you want something, then it isnt. Did not get all I paid for. Was consistently rushed through services. I will not go back!

They used to be excellent. Now within the last few months alot of the staff has left. The nails i just had done 3 weeks ago have ALL came off. Some after the first week. I spent alot for them to be so poorly done! Not happy.

Had a pedicure and powder dip manicure last week. Steven was not friendly at all. Kept the pedicure chair far back then pulled my feet to him. The powder dip is horrible. It is already peeling off. I won’t ever return.

I got an infection a few months ago in my big toe after having a pedicure and being snapped by the tissue clippers. The pedicure persons name was Stephen. After 4 days of swelling and pain i has to see a doctor and be placed on antibiotics for two weeks. I can barely walk with a shoe on or even make it to work . I called the Gallaxy Nails and spoke to the receptionist to tell them what happened. She said she would let the owner know they would call me back. She took my name and I formation but no one ever called me back.

Very clean and sanitary (They uses tub liners.) Attractive lobby. Nice chairs. Friendly technicians. We will return!

Philip is wonderful! Friendly, makes me laugh and his nail work is amazing. He keeps up with trends and do do almost anything you bring in.

Worst experience at a nail salon ever!!! I got a pedicure ... first off water was cold but I didn’t mind that too much because after working two jobs my feet hurt. Being tired I didn’t really look at my toenails until I got home and realized that that my nails were filled down way too low that they almost hurt. I also realized that they weren’t filed evenly and my toes had polish all over them. I called and relayed my displeasure and asked if I could receive a refund, was told yes to come back in. I get there and the manager is extremely rude to me and refuses to refund my money. I would give it a zero if I could. Will never be going back. I am appalled at the level of disrespect shown to me after receiving the worse pedicure of my life also the most expensive pedicure I’ve ever seen.... never returning !!!

This is the only place around that I will go to get my nails done. After a number of terrible experiences at other dirty salons in the area and a bad infection of one of my cuticles I was told about this place by a friend. Immediate impression was it was very clean and the staff was friendly. Prices are reasonable too, and they’re always willing to squeeze me in.

Looks like I found my new pedicure place! Fairly priced, my toes look great, the hot towels felt do good and the staff was really nice.
