Awesome gym, staff are in great shape and knowledgeable about fitness. Well kept, spotless gym!

One of their trainers called me and cancelled her class because she has an active case of Covid-19. I talked to the manager and she says the employee will be tested before she returns to work. There is no vaccine requirement, no mask requirement and no signage that some employees are not vaccinated.I don’t know about everyone else but I expect a business that is soooo concerned with my health to have protocol in place.

Just moved to Port Charlotte. Signed up and been working out here for about a month now. Havent had any issues up to this point. I get a call this morning from a manager, Tania, to tell me I didnt re-rack the weights from a leg press machine during a workout 4 nights ago. Strange call to receive from any gym. She also saw me yesterday and could of spoken to me in person about it. Anyway, she begins the conversation with that and if I do it again Ill have my membership revoked.. I apologized and began to inform her that it was an accident, not done purposely and that if she were to watch the rest of the workout, or any other workout, she would see I always re-rack. It was an honest mistake is what Im trying to get this insane lady to understand. I swear on my mothers life this lady responds to me with I watched the security cameras and Im disgusted which she later denied ever saying. At this point, Im blown away by the conversation taking place. Its an outrage put simply. I couldnt believe that she called me to speaks to me in that manner and threaten my membership over this without the slightest bit of understanding. Nothing about this phone call was professional. As I begin telling her how unprofessional the call has been, she interrupts and says Your membership is revoked and hangs up. Its really hard to believe what I experienced. Its not so bad losing the membership, its the customer experience that has dampened the imagine of Anytime for me. My brother and his girlfriend were planning to sign up and wont now, obviously. On the bright side, were going to to Second Chance Fitness! Badass gym. It used to be a Golds gym. Apparently, they kept a lot of the machines. Im pretty excited.I would like to end with a compliment to the other manager, Shawn. He was a pleasure and professional. He should be promoted. The gym would be in better hands.

I love the idea I can go to the gym anytime of the day or night to workout. It’s a little cold in there but it’s okay. I spend a lot of time there tonight and I had a great workout 🏋🏽‍♂️ 💪🏽

This anytime fitness is nice and clean.. quick workout in and out... for me I’m a member but from a different location... place looking good.. keep it up staff...

This has to be the coldest gym in the entire planet. I feel like I am lifting weights on the glaciers in Antarctica. Then not only do they keep the gym 50 degrees 365 days a year they have 16 industrial fans so just when you think you have avoided the AC vent the fans designed to move 30,000 cubic feet of air make sure you don’t escape the grasps off the deep chill. All I can say is I want to sweat and that’s not possible unless you wear sub zero clothing then maybe just maybe you will get one drop of sweat. So please for the love of god change the temperature and I’ll remove the bad review.

Love this location. Great equipment, clean, and convenient. I actually wish I lived in Florida as this is a much better gym than my home option. Ill definitely be back next time I visit my parents!

I love coming to Anytime Fitness for numerous reasons:1. It is close to where I live so I can ride my bike there.2. The staff is super friendly and helpful.3. They have a great variety of machines and equipment and have actually added some new equipment recently which I really enjoy using.4. I do not feel uncomfortable at this gym as I have in the past at other gyms. The gym-goers are actually quite friendly and everyone there for the most part is there to workout, not stand around and socialize.5. Though I dont take classes, they do offer numerous group classes which are available with your membership, so I do not think it is overpriced.6. It is open 24/7! I love knowing that I dont have to stress about the gym closing and that I can take my time there.I made a great choice joining this gym!

Decent equipment for a small gym.Usually very clean inside. Well maintained.3 stars because music is absolutely horrible they play over the speakers and they block a lot of bands on the DJ app that you have to pay for credits for.Everybody has headphones in at this place because the music is just flat out annoying.Also 3 star because you get no response from email inquiries to their district.

Nice quiet gym in a great location. Its kept very clean and, although much smaller than other gyms, has everything that you need without all the people. Most mornings there are only a few people working out which makes getting your workout done quickly super easy.

Convenient and close to the highway location. Its not that big so time your arrival to when its not busy and you will have a better workout.The facility is clean, parking is close and is next to a publix if you need anything.

Its quaint, but it has everything you need such as plenty of benches, dumbbells that go to 120, curl bars, long bars, Smith machines, and presses. In addition, all the necessities for strength training, building muscle, and plenty of cardio equipment; even has a spin room for classes, and a heavy bag to take some anger out. Moreover, the trainers are very efficient with their craft to ensure the clients are getting results! It is very well maintained. There are wipes stationed all over the gym to make sure one can get that nasty sweat dew left over..you know what I mean hah. An awesome staff for an awesome gym!!!

My gym went out of business because strip mall owner went bankrupt. My membership was transferred to Anytime Fitness. So much plug-in air freshener that I keep sneezing. Its like that church lady with too much perfume is hugging you all the time. The machines are so-so. Staff is pretty indifferent. Im stuck with it for now because I paid my previous gym for 6 months up front, probably wont renew, though.

Its a nice clean place with good staff. However, theyre charging $30 a month while their competitors are are charging $10 a month with more amenities.

SCAMThis gym has the most ridiculous cancelation policy. My membership cannot be cancelled except by a signature IN PERSON even though Im out of the country. My year is up and they will continue to charge me for their over priced gym. FRAUD. Would not recommend this gym to anyone.
